Ado is an Utaite born on October 24th, 2002, in Tokyo, Japan. She gives voice to the new era, capturing the angst and cautious optimism of Japan’s younger generations with her mesmerizing voice and powerful performances. Her major debut single, "Usseewa", released in 2020, became a social phenomenon, and her first album, "Kyougen", released in 2022, also became a long-running hit. The global streaming platform Beyond LIVE has announced that the live concert of Japanese superstar, Ado , held at Nippon Budokan on August 2023, is now available for worldwide audiences to stream for the first time.

Ado has gained widespread recognition internationally, for her contributions to the world-famous anime film ONE PIECE FILM RED . Within the film, she is credited with singing a total of seven songs including the theme song “New Genesis”. Additionally, she has also lent her talents to the popular anime series SPY X FAMILY singing the opening theme for Season 2, titled “Kura Kura”.

“New Genesis”, a song written by renowned producer Yasutaka Nakata (known for his work with Capsule , Perfume , Kyary Pamyu Pamyu ), was released in June 2022 and achieved a significant milestone. It became the first-ever Japanese song to reach the #1 position on Apple Music’s Top 100: Global Chart in August 2022.

Ado ’s breathtaking full-length concert, recorded live during her 2023 summer concert hall and arena tour “Mars”, has now been made available for global streaming (excluding Japan and South Korea) for a limited time on Beyond LIVE . • All guests: Enter through main entrance on 44th St.
• VIP Early Entry into Venue: 5:30 pm doors . VIP comes with early entry into the venue and an exclusive merchandise gift from the artist.
• All other ticket holders: 6:30 pm doors
• Show time: 8:00 pm
• Purchased in our lobby and then guests will exit the building.
• Guests will not be allowed down into the theater at this time.
• Merch will still also be sold throughout the event after the 5:30pm doors until the end of the show.

PHONE FREE EXPERIENCE

• This event will be a phone-free experience. Use of phones will not be permitted in the theater space.
• Phones will be secured in individual Yondr pouches that will be opened at the end of the event. Guests maintain possession of their devices at all times.
• Phones can be accessed throughout the event only in designated Phone Use Areas within the venue. All devices will be re-secured in Yondr pouches before returning to the performance space.
• Please note that once phones are placed into Yondr bags, you may no longer be able to use apple pay or other tap-to-pay services on your phone. You will have an opportunity to purchase merch at our early merch sales, and before entering the theater space prior to your phone being placed into a Yondr bag.

Coat check is $5 per item, cash or card. Any item deemed by security to be too large or dangerous must be coat checked and can be retrieved at the end of the show.

Ado, an utaite (a Japanese term for someone covering Vocaloid songs with their real voice) born on October 24, 2002, started her musical journey in 2017 by sharing cover videos of Vocaloid songs. Over time, she expanded her repertoire by creating and performing original songs.

Anyone But You finally made its Netflix streaming debut, which is exciting news for rom-com fans everywhere. As you watch the movie, you might be wondering where Anyone But You was filmed and if you can visit the breathtaking beaches, cliffs, and other locations in real life.

Loosely adapted from Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing,” Anyone But You stars Glen Powell as Ben, a finance bro who has an incredible first date with Bea (Sydney Sweeney), a law student uncertain about her career. After spending the night, Bea panics and leaves without telling him. When she realizes she made a mistake and returns to his apartment, she overhears Ben saying that she is a “nothing” to him.

Years later, they unexpectedly reunite at a destination wedding in Australia for Bea’s sister, who is marrying Ben’s friend. When their exes show up, they pretend to be a couple—and the rest is history. The film was directed and co-written by Will Gluck, the filmmaker behind rom-coms like Easy A and Friends with Benefits . It was released in December and had an impressive run at the box office, surpassing $88 million domestically and $219 million worldwide, according to Box Office Mojo .

After its release, the movie went viral on TikTok as audience goers reacted to the film’s credit sequence, which features the cast dancing and singing to Natasha Bedingfield’s nostalgic 2004 hit “Unwritten,” a song highlighted throughout the film. There were also rumors of an off-screen romance between Powell and Sweeney that helped promote the film, as well as the actors’ flirty publicity tour and Sydney Sweeney’s SNL monologue .

Now, Anyone But You is back in the limelight after the film was released on Netflix on April 23, quickly becoming the No. 1 movie on the platform in the U.S. after just one day.

Anyone But You was filmed in parts of Australia around New South Wales and Sydney. Director Will Gluck told The Hollywood Reporter that he wanted the film set in Sydney because he had “really fallen in love with the city” and liked it so much he moved his family there.

“Almost every time you shoot a movie in Sydney, you have to pretend it’s somewhere else and frame out the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. For Anyone But You , I thought, “Why do that?” We actually wrote this movie 100 percent for Sydney — very specific to the destination,” Gluck wrote.

The director continued, “We flew helicopters all over — seeing the city from that vantage point is stunning — and landed one at the Opera House, shut down the Harbour Bridge, filmed at the Queen Victoria Building, and shot for two weeks overlooking Bondi Beach,” he said. “We spent a week on a boat in Sydney Harbour shooting a scene where they’re stranded on a buoy, but you can’t have humans in the water without a shark cage, so we had to have one the whole time. You pinch yourself. It’s so unbelievable we were actually doing these things.”

Sydney Opera House

The Sydney Opera House is a focal point in Anyone But You. The 20th-century architectural landmark serves as a gorgeous backdrop for big moments, including the end scene when Ben passionately kisses Bea, who is standing at the top of the steps. You can visit the performing arts center for special events and tours.

Marks Park, Bondi

Located in Sydney's northern suburbs, the wedding scene in Anyone But You was filmed at Marks Park overlooking Bondi Beach and the Pacific Ocean. The cliff-top park is open to the public and has fitness stations, a playground, and some shaded areas.

Many of Anyone But You ’s breathtaking beach scenes were filmed around Palm Beach. Director Will Gluck told THR that one of the best parts of filming was on location in Palm Beach, a suburb in the Northern Beaches.

“Our caravans were parked right on the water, and Glen and Sydney and I decided to live there the whole time. We’d shoot all day and all the crew would go home, then we’d jump in the water and have a swim, go to our trailers and have dinner sitting outside,” he said. “It’s one of the most beautiful places in the world, and you normally wouldn’t be allowed to sleep there. It was probably the most fun I’ve ever had filming.”

Jones Bay Wharf

The historic Jones Bay Wharf is another familiar filming location in Anyone But You. The hidden gem in the Pyrmont district is home to fine dining restaurants, charming cafes, and beautiful views the of the city and Harbour Bridge.

While on their way to collect flowers for the wedding, Ben and his friend Pete are seen walking alongside the Queen Victoria Building. The Romanesque 19th-century building is actually a five-level shopping center with fashion boutiques, jewelry stores, cafes, and restaurants.

2024 NFL Draft: Five biggest first-round surprises, including QB records broken and defenders ignored

The five biggest surprises of opening night.

The first round of the 2024 NFL Draft has come and gone, and boy, was it sure entertaining. As predicted, all of our mock drafts were torn to shreds, as players went much higher than anticipated, while others fell further than we thought they would. NFL teams also forgot there were defensive players available, as the first defender was selected at No. 15 overall!

We saw a record-tying amount of quarterbacks taken in the first round, with all six coming in the first 12, and just nine offensive linemen go despite the NFL world anticipating double-digit trench titans being selected. There's plenty to jump into, so without further ado, here are the five biggest surprises of the first round.

5. The cornerback fall

If you care about mock drafts, most had the first cornerback going somewhere around No. 13 overall. The first corner went No. 22 overall on Thursday. It wasn't a big night for defensive players at large, we will get into that in a second, but a couple of teams got some absolute STEALS with these cornerbacks.

I'm not sure how the Philadelphia Eagles are always gifted these studs, but Quinyon Mitchell should be an immediate starter. He shook off "MAC conference questions" at the Senior Bowl by dominating, and recorded the most passes defensed in the FBS over the past two seasons with 37. The Eagles needed to boost the secondary, and they did just that by taking arguably the best cornerback in the draft.

If Mitchell isn't the best cornerback in the draft, it's probably Alabama's Terrion Arnold -- who went two picks later at No. 24 overall to the Detroit Lions after a trade up. Detroit was another NFC contender that needed to add in the secondary, especially after the Cam Sutton  incident, and Arnold was responsible for the most incomplete targets among SEC players last season with 43. He figures to start right away, too.

These two players could have gone higher in the first round, and two great teams benefitted from their falls.

4. Ricky Pearsall

The Florida Gator was a draft crush of many, but who saw him going in the first round? He was selected by the San Francisco 49ers at No. 31 overall, after catching 65 passes for 965 yards and four touchdowns in 2023. Maybe he didn't go off for 1,500+ yards in 2023 like Malik Nabers , but there's no doubt he's talented. What did "trade-block resident" Brandon Aiyuk think of the pick? Apparently his words were, " Fire pick, no lie ."  

Every weapon will have fun in San Francisco, but not many saw Pearsall sneaking into the top 32.

3. Chiefs - Bills trade for Xavier Worthy

The Chiefs and Bills have an epic rivalry in the AFC, which is why it was puzzling when Buffalo allowed Kansas City to move up to No. 28 overall to select a player it was clearly high on. Who was that player? Just the kid that broke the 40-yard dash record at the NFL Combine this year.

There are some concerns with Worthy being so thin, but he's a burner Andy Reid can utilize probably better than anyone else. This is a two-time First Team All-Big 12 player who also led the conference in receiving yards and receiving touchdowns during his collegiate career. Congratulations, Patrick Mahomes . And Buffalo better hope he doesn't score the game-winning touchdown when these two teams meet next.

2. Defensive players ignored

We knew there was a chance this draft could match or even break the record when it came to the latest a defensive player was selected (formerly No. 8 overall), but did you imagine FOURTEEN offensive players coming off the board to start the draft? Just nine defensive players were selected on Thursday night.

1. Michael Penix Jr . and the rest of the QBs

There's no doubt about it, the most shocking moment of the first round was when the Atlanta Falcons selected Michael Penix Jr. No. 8 overall. Yes, the Falcons gave Kirk Cousins a four-year deal worth $180 million in free agency, but everyone lauds the " Packers method" until it's actually utilized, right? It's fair to question how many seasons a soon-to-be 36-year-old quarterback coming off a torn Achilles has left, but the most shocking part about this pick was that it came at No. 8 overall. The Falcons could have traded down a bit, right? Well, according to James Palmer , the Seattle Seahawks , New Orleans Saints and Las Vegas Raiders all attempted to get into the top 10 for Penix. The Falcons had plenty of other needs to address inside the top 10, but they went quarterback. We'll see how it plays out. 

Penix wasn't the only quarterback surprise. Michigan's J.J. McCarthy fell to the Minnesota Vikings at No. 10, even though he was consistently mocked inside the top five, and then Bo Nix went No. 12 to the Denver Broncos despite being regarded as a borderline Day 1 pick. 

Quarterbacks were flying off the board, and actually broke draft records. Four quarterbacks went inside the top eight picks for the first time ever, and five quarterbacks inside the top 10 for the first time. That seems like good news for Spencer Rattler and Michael Pratt.
