I go to a lot of shows but Amy Shark’s show last night at the wonder ballroom was one of the best that I’ve attended! It wasn’t super packed but the crowd was super supportive and I believe it made her feel quite comfortable. I would love to have seen more people but that didn’t seem to bother her at all. She was quite engaging with the crowd. She spoke often to us and told us of any of her experiences. I know her music made me dance to almost every song and I looked around me and everyone may not have been dancing but they were moving some part of their body Lol.

I couldn’t believe how time went by so very quickly! There definitely was not a dull moment and Amy herself danced and moved around on the stage constantly! I would say that happy was how she made me feel. I was smiling the entire time and felt not only happy but pretty ecstatic and couldn’t believe when it was time for the show to be over. Out of all the shows I’ve been to in the last several months her show seem to be over the quickest even though she was on stage playing for at least an hour and a half maybe two. I was so engaged in the show that I didn’t really notice how long except it seemed short because she was so fantastic!

I left the show feeling happy and it lasted for the entire rest of the night and the next day all I wanted to do was listen to her music and when I did it brought back that happy feeling and a big smile on my face!! She is definitely someone you want to see when she comes through your town. I guarantee it will be an amazing experience and you leave feeling that you actually got to know her and you love her music even more.

Had VIP tickets for the soundcheck which we were told to arrive at 3.30. We were made to wait in line for an hour, then once we were finally let in they refused to serve any alcohol until 5.30, this was pretty disappointing maybe due to poor planning? Not really a VIP experience you would want to pay extra for.

Anyway, Amy came and played two songs on stage and got photos with everyone afterwards which was great! But then she wouldn’t have been coming out for her performance until 8.30pm. No pass outs were allowed, so what did they expect everyone to hang around for 4 hours? It was absolute b*ullshit. My friend and I ended up leaving and had to purchase more general admission tickets again so we could return to the show at 8.30. There was absolutely no way we were going to stand there looking at an empty stage for 4 hours, how crazy! Would have put us in the worst mood and ruined the experience.

We left, had dinner and drinks then after we came back just in time for her performance it was great! The things that really let the whole experience down was the crappy VIP tickets, making people wait when they probably should have told us to come an hour later than suggested, and maybe be able to serve alcohol from the time you have allowed for people to enter the venue? And pass outs should be allowed for VIP especially if there is going to be a waiting time from 3.30-8.30 for the concert to actually start!

Amy gave an amazing performance at the House of Blues, creating a perfect kick off for the whole evening. She grabbed the audience from the first note and kept them with her as she presented great tunes like "Blood Brother" and "Adore" along with engaging backstories like the one that went with "Weekends." All in all her set was a captivating combination of poignant lyrics, intoxicating vocals, and powerful stage presence.

Boston fans who want another dose of Amy's talent should be sure to catch her in March, when she plays at Brighton Music Hall.

(And Amy: When you are here in Boston, give a listen to the local take on 'English' After a couple minutes listening to someone from Brockton or Revere, you'll be hard pressed to still think that the Queensland accent you have is at all "ugly.")

Amy Shark certainly knows how to spark enjoyment in and connect with her fans.

With two opening performance from Erthlings (Sydney) and Slowly Slowly (Melbourne), the night was set up to be amazing.

Amy's set included all her greatest hits, as well as a few covers from some of her favourite bands.

Her singing was accompanied by pyrotechnics, confetti and an array of strobe lighting.

The songs to look forward to the most would be "You Think I Think I Sound Like God", "All Loved Up", and her Number 1 single, "I Said Hi".

It is definitely a night that you will remember.

Sadly Amy did not live up to her Album and seemed to be playing it safe at Heaven (London). I love her music and she was very lively on stage but unfortunately this did not translate to her voice where she took the low key options and didn't hit many of her high notes... The power in her voice in her albums was what drew me to the singer and sadly I found her live performance was a bit flat and did not live up to my expectations.

I would still like to see her again and hope she just had an off day and next time hits the highs!

Amy put on another great show, this time at Brighton Music Hall. Treated all of us her songs from Night Thinker, as well as some yet to be released new songs. Looking forward to hearing more.

From Great Scott, to Brighton Music Hall ... the venues are getting bigger. Won't be long til she is headlining at the House of Blues.

Then she wont need to ask us to make her believe that one day she'll be great. (She should know that already.)

Until she returns, we will keep her in our hearts for old time sake.

Saw amy shark in manchester. The deaf institute was the perfect place for the voice of amy. After listening to her songs which were/are inspired by her sometimes sad life stories i decided to take the opurtunity to see her live. I was not disappointed excellent live and a very amazed amy because we knew her songs. A little smile came as we sang back. She was humbled i think. Also she took the time to sign and take pictures. In her words no worries

it was AMAZING! it was the best concert i have ever been to. i liked how she just continuesly ayed songs with little breaks to talk, unlike people like taylor swift who talk for twenty minutes and the stare off into the distance. she also wasn’t worried about changed her clothes. overall she was just a really cool person who gave off positive vibes

abbycurran1’s profile image

She was amazing. She really connected with the audience by telling the back stories to her songs. The concert was a lot shorter that I expected. So that was disappointing. But that was because I was enjoying it so much. Amy come back to Ottawa.

I would love to see her at 4th Stage at the NAC

Highly recommended seeing Amy Shark in concert. Powerful and emotional singer, singing about real issues. She interacted with the fans and could tell she totally enjoyed playing in brisbane. Highly recommend riverstage as a venue.

Amy Shark adds Brisbane show to national tour

Australian pop queen Amy Shark has added a Brisbane headline show to her huge 2019 national tour.

See available tickets

Adding to her biggest national headlining tour yet, Amy Shark has announced a huge show in Brisbane this May.

2018 was well and truly Amy Shark’s year – releasing her debut album, having it go #1 and triple gold-certified in Australia and #2 in America, as well as scoring a trio of ARIA awards and  touring extensively across Europe, Australia, New Zealand and North America.

It followed up her breakthrough year in 2017. After making music for the better part of a decade, once her single  Adore found a home on triple j there was no turning back. After landing at #2 in 2017’s Hottest 100, the track went four times platinum and saw Amy winning ARIA’s for Best Pop release and Breakthrough Artist, an APRA Award for Pop Work of the Year, and taking on American TV show performances.

Currently on tour across Europe, Amy will return home in May to perform some of her biggest headlining shows yet. In a showcase of rising Australian talent, she will be joined by Melbourne emo-rockers Slowly Slowly and Sydney up and comers Erthlings.

Amy Shark Kicks Off 2024 With Brand New Release ‘Beautiful Eyes’

' src=

Already well established as one of Australia’s premier pop successes, Amy Shark is set to make 2024 her biggest year yet. Kicking off the year with her brand-new release « Beautiful Eyes » – out now via Wonderlick/Sony Music Australia/RCA Records.

Described by Amy as her « favourite song she’s ever written », ‘Beautiful Eyes’ was written by Amy while she was on the road in 2022 for her 42-date regional tour. Speaking about the song, Amy explains it as « a pure stream of consciousness. I wrote it when I was on tour, and I had a lot of time alone to think about the past and the future and my life and all the people in it. »

The cinematic sun-drenched official video was filmed by Hype Republic over 2 days near Byron Bay in Northern NSW, Australia.

« Beautiful Eyes » marks the beginning of a huge 2024 for Shark, who is gearing up to return to our TV screens for her judging role on the highly anticipated return of Australian Idol in January 2024. Shark took home the prestigious Australian Award, Graham Kennedy Award for Most Popular New Talent at the 2023 Logie Awards, inducting her into the illustrious club of Australians who have taken home both an ARIA Award and Logie Award.

After bursting onto the global music scene in 2016, Amy Shark’s 7x Platinum single « Adore » put her on the map as one of Australia’s most formidable songwriters. This was followed by APRA award winning (Song Of The Year) 7x Platinum and number one Australian airplay chart hit, « I Said Hi » and the 2019 4x Platinum single « Mess Her Up. »

Shark’s debut/breakthrough #1 ARIA album and Platinum-certified LOVE MONSTER was recognised in 2018 with four ARIA awards (Album of the Year, Best Female Artist, Best Pop Release, Best Producer [Dann Hume]) and was nominated for another five. LOVE MONSTER went on to become the highest selling album by an Australian artist for 2018.

2020 saw Amy release her ARIA award winning, 2x Platinum accredited single, « Everybody Rise, » which spent 12 weeks in the top 10 Australian airplay chart. Amy’s latest album, Gold-certified CRY FOREVER was her second #1 ARIA debut holding the top spot for two weeks consecutively. Shark teamed up with blink 182’s Travis Barker on Gold accredited single ‘C’MON’ and global superstar Ed Sheeran to co-write 2x platinum single « Love Song’s Ain’t For Us » featuring Grammy award winning artist Keith Urban.

In 2022, Amy released the Platinum accredited hit « Sway My Way » with R3HAB and turbo-pop Gold-accredited single « Only Wanna Be With You. » In 2023, she teamed up with Sam Fischer for the release of « High On You, » released now Gold-accredited single « Can I Shower At Yours » as well as « Can’t Get You Out Of My Head, » Amy’s re-imagination of the Kylie Minogue classic.

2023 also saw Amy grace the cover of Rolling Stone Australia, support Coldplay for their stadium shows in Perth and make her debut as a judge on Australia Idol, which she picked up her first Logie for in July of 2023 – winning the Graham Kennedy Award for Most Popular New Talent. Today, Amy has amassed close to 1 billion combined global streams.
