Wonderful trip. Had a great time!
Japan Delight with Hiroshima(private 3 star hotel rooms)
Can certainly recommend. I went with my son and had a great time. The sites they visited were great and our tour guide Rea was great, very knowledgeable and together with our bus driver ensured we got the most out of the trip. The hotels were very good clean and comfortable all with great facilities. We traveled light and we’re easily able to wash and dry our clothes when we needed. All in all I would recommend for anyone to do this trip. It is a great introduction to Japan. We would book another trip with tour radar based on this experience. A big shout out to Rea.
Essential Japan
Itinerary was good, tour guides communication need improvement on volume since it was a big group.
9D Splendid Japan with Nagoya (private 3 star hotel rooms)
I would have rated the experience as Excellent, had I and others on the tour not been told to book our flights to leave from an airport that was much further and altogether harder to get to from the final hotel location. The closer airport would have cost less to fly out from, causing even more of an expense.

Izumi was the perfect CEO! She went above and beyond to make the tour the perfect experience.
Japan Adventure
Wow! What an amazing tour. Zoe is just amazing. Was so fortunate to travel in such a friendly group at such an amazing time of year with the blossoms. Loved the balance of free time and activities, with time to relax on nights in the mountains. Feel like 12 days was perfect to feel like I saw the best bits of Japan

Japan Highlights
Loved seeing Japan. Very busy itinerary - 55 miles walked in 8 days but really enjoyable.
Epic 13-Day Japan Budget Tour: Odyssey Across the Land of the Rising Sun
The most amazing trip I have ever been on. I loved the other people and my tour guide. But the best part was by far the food.

Japan One Life Adventures - 14 Days
This was my 2nd One Life Adventures tour. It was incredible. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. The range of activities we took part in from sushi making, to Kendo class, to morning meditations with a Japanese monk, the authentic Monk’s dinner and breakfast experience, dressing up in Kimono’s for a traditional Tea Ceremony, to getting up close and personal with the Nara Deer, plus many more mini experiences that you’ll be pleasantly surprised about when you partake in the tour - it was an absolute blast. The sightseeing was impeccable. From the Japanese mountains to the water, the Sulphuric mines in Hakone, watching the sunset over Mt. Fuji from Tokyo’s tallest building, walking through 10,000 Tori gates, to seeing the “floating” Tori Gate on Miyajima; you’ll be amazed at the scenes and vibrant colours. Our tour leader Brad, was the best tour leader I’ve had the pleasure of traveling with. Very open, very friendly. Every location we stopped at while on tour, he had a wealth of information and really great story telling to boot. I find that good story telling is a rarity nowadays; Brad really knows how to emphasise them to give you the most emotional impact for what you’re about to see or do. On top of what you would expect from a tour guide, Brad also went the extra mile for myself, my partner and everyone else on the trip. When we realised that we had left one of our bags on the train, Brad got straight on the phone to One Life Head office and rallied his support team to get our bag back to us. To cut a long story short, Brad's decisive action got our bag back to us via courier to our next accomodation - we were very pleased. While this tour is a great experience, it is very fast paced and can be very tiring even for the fittest of people - Brad even when tired himself from a long day of traveling; still had time for everyone. He was always the first to show up at meeting times and the last one to go at the end of our meets. He’s a very kind person and very professional for the type of job he has. I would definitely tour with One Life Adventures again as their tours are 2nd to none in value & ethics. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
All Inclusive Japan Classics- 9 days
We had the most amazing time, cannot recommend this company enough! We will treasure the memories of this trip always
Japan Kumano Kodo Highlights Hiking (Self-Guided)
My wife and I took a 22 day tour of Vietnam and Cambodia with Odynovo Tours from February 24- March 16, 2024 Everything was excellent.Cristal Yao was the contact person and coordinator and she was responsive efficient and always helpful and a delight to work with She gave good suggestions and facilitated requests. The guides were all excellent, provided very useful information about history and culture and local customs as well as about the history of the Vietnam War They spoke very good English and were very attentive to any concerns or questions Our guide in Cambodia Vanna also known as Ram was superb and deserves special mention The other guides Eddie and Thai Denny were also excellent Also the drivers were also thoughtful and courteous and careful drivers especially with all the motorbikes! All spoke good English and were very attentive to our needs and questions. Overall the trip was wonderful Only issue was the weather in northern Vietnam and especially Halong Bay but that is beyond anyones control! We loved it and the Odynovo staff was great. We highly recommend Odynovo.
Japan Kansai - 6 Days
This tour was incredibly organized. Hotels were wonderful. All the food was to give you the true Japanese experience. We had a couple of picky eaters, so they ate a lot of rice. Our tour guide thought of everything and really went above and beyond. I would highly recommend this company.
What people love about Osaka Tours
The tour was a blast! Group was fun, the tour guide was fun and knowledgeable, and the itenerary is fantastic. I would highly recommend this tour to someone that wants to experience Japan and it's culture. I'd also recommend water resistant shoes, a small water proof bag for daily travel, and packing for both hot and cold climates. An umbrella while helpful isn't necessary as you can buy one at basically every convenience store in Japan.
The guide was the best
It was a really nice tour, our Tour guide Aiko and bus driver: Isshiko san was very good to us for the whole duration. Though this was not our original tour, it was ok. I still would've liked to go on our 10-day one instead. This 8 day tour was way too jam-packed. Almost 3 cities a day with only 2 hours to explore in each. We had to choose whether to eat or to explore. Everybody I talked to had their original tour switched to this one. Though the staff did their very best, I can't help but think there was a better way to do this tour. This is a ver tiring tour though you get to see most of Japan in this one trip. For people wanting a more relaxed trip there are better options.

Map of Osaka
Hotels & activities, explore japan.
The stunning mountain region is home to several magnificent locations filled with natural beauty including lush dense forests, vibrant traditional gardens, snow-capped peaks, and rivers.
Many people think of four major islands when they think of Japan, but as one of the largest island countries in the world, there are hundreds of inhabited islands that offer some of Asia`s most fabulous beaches.
Fuji Five Lakes is a region at the base of Mount Fuji, Japan comprised by Yamanaka, Kawaguchi, Saiko, Shoji and Motosu lakes. At its heart is Fujiyoshida city, with its Yoshida Trail up Mount Fuji and Fuji-Q Highland amusement park.
Highlights of Japan
Travel by rail is an essential component to any trip in Japan, and the Japan Rail Pass is without a doubt the most convenient and most economical way to travel around the country. With the rail pass, you dont have to worry about buying individual tickets, and you can reserve your seats on all Japan Rail trains for free.
The most authentically Japanese accommodations that are offered are called ryokan, which roughly translates to `travel building`, and is a traditional Japanese-style inn. In these ryokan, visitors stay in rooms with tatami mats, eat traditional Japanese meals, wear yukata, and relax in hot baths.
There are tens of thousands of Buddhist temples and Shinto shrines across Japan, and they can be found in all 47 prefectures, even in the remotest towns and villages. Perhaps one of the most accessible ways to learn about Japanese culture and customs is to fit a special trip or two into your Japanese vacation itinerary.
Japan is particularly well-known for its castles. At one point around the turn of the 17th century, there were 5,000 castles; today there are over 100 open to the public, which are either fully restored or in ruins. The castles of Japan educate visitors on what life was like during the late feudal and early Tokugawa shogunate eras.
Experiences and Adventures
Japanese Cuisine
Japanese cuisine is one of the worlds most popular cuisines, and definitely one of the most delicious. For example Sapporo stakes claim to having Japans best ramen; Shikoku says they have Japans best udon noodle, sanuki-udon; Hiroshima is known for the pancake griddle meals called okonomiyaki; and Osaka is known for fried octopus balls called takoyaki.
Japanese Cultural Experiences
There are so many experiences you can enjoy that are unique to Japan, such as attending a kabuki or bunraku theatre performance, being a spectator at a sumo wrestling match, watching geishas and apprentices administer the traditional Japanese tea ceremony, attending a popular traditional festival.
Skiing in Japan
Skiing in Japan is a very popular sport and leisure activity, with over 500 ski resorts dotting the country from Hokkaido all the way down to Kyushu. You will find the widest selection of ski resorts in the Japanese Alps, where the Winter Olympics took place in 1998, and in the Tohoku region, home to many of the countrys resorts with world-class amenities.
UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Japan
Japan is home to 25 UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Of these, 20 were selected due to their lasting impacts on Japanese history and culture, and five were selected because of their natural beauty. The Japanese UNESCO World Heritage Sites range from Buddhist temples and Shinto shrines to well-maintained feudal-era castles.
Honeymoon in Japan
Experiencing the beauty and culture of Japan is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and many travelers decide to make their trips even more special by choosing Japan as their honeymoon destination. Tokyo, with its glittering lights and cosmopolitan feel, is a great place to start off a Japanese honeymoon.

Japan's third largest city is packed with museums, castles, restaurants, parks, and much more.

Osaka's most famous, and most-visited, attraction is Osaka Castle, a reconstruction of a historic tower castle that now functions as a museum. The surrounding park is a great place to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of the city for a while. One of the city's landmarks in the Umeda Sky Building, twin towers connected at the top by an observatory bridge known as the Floating Garden, where you'll have panoramic city views. Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan is one of the largest in the world, holding thousands of fish and other marine animals. Osaka vacations are as much about eating the sea life as seeing it, so head to the Dotonbori area to sample the best sushi in town.
Festivals and Events
The biggest festival of the year, Tenjin Matsuri, takes place on July 24 and 25, and honors the deity of scholarship. The entire city celebrates, with people dressing in traditional costumes and taking part in parades through the streets and along the river in boats. Another huge festival, Gion Matsuri, takes place in July in the nearby city of Kyoto, so have a look into Osaka car rentals if you're visiting at this time of year, and make the 40-mile drive between the cities. Osaka View Tours
Osaka serves as the primary international travel hub into southern Japan, and is one of the nation’s most culturally dynamic cities. Osaka city is the largest city in the Kansai region, and a great center of Japanese arts and culture. As the second largest city in Japan, it is southern Japan’s economic powerhouse. Formerly known as Naniwa, it was Japan’s first capital in the 7th and 8th centuries. And at the forefront of Osaka’s historical treasures stands magnificent Osaka Castle. The original fortress was built by the famed samurai warlord Toyotomi Hideyoshi, though it has had to be rebuilt a few times over the years. The castle tower includes a museum to commemorate the life of Hideyoshi and to honor Osaka Castle’s history. For a slice of contemporary Osaka, there is Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi. Here is where locals go for a night on the town – where they enjoy the local okonomiyaki (a pancake with various toppings) and takoyaki (grilled octopus rolled in dough). The people of Osaka are known to be funny and down-to-earth, although, at times, cruder and pushier than other Japanese people. And Dotonbori is full of classic examples of their blunt and sarcastic sense of humor in the large displays and bright signage lighting up the entertainment district. Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, and Tokyo Tour Route
Day 1: arrival - osaka.
Greetings from Japan! As soon as you arrive at Kansai International Airport, our staff will welcome you and assist you in boarding the private Toyota minivan to your hotel. Following your check-in at the hotel and a short rest, we will take you to the lively, colorful downtown of Osaka - the Dotonbori area, where a wide variety of delicious flavors of Japan can be sampled. We will serve you a welcome dinner at the 'Kitchen of Japan,' Osaka. After a hearty dinner and a walk, we will take you to your hotel for a good night's rest.
Accommodation : Prince Park Tower Hotel or Shinagawa Prince Hotel
Day 2: Osaka - Kyoto
Our first stop today is the impressive symbol of Osaka - the Osaka Castle, which was struck by lightning back in 1665. Throughout its history, the castle has been rebuilt and modernized. It now has an elevator on the top floor, which makes it easy to access it. From the observation deck, one can admire the surroundings in a picturesque manner.
In addition to the Castle and nearby Nishinomaru Garden, you will visit the oldest temple in Japan, Shittenoji Temple, during your tour of Osaka. Japan is a beautiful country that combines old and new in an interesting way. As you explore the traditional sights of Osaka, you'll climb the Umeda Sky Building - an exceptional example of contemporary architecture. You can view the beautiful skyline of Osaka from its floating observatory.
In the afternoon, we will transfer to Kyoto, the former capital of Japan, where we will visit various Buddhist temples, Shinto shrines, and many other traditional sites.
Accommodation : The Prince Kyoto Takaragaike, Autograph Collection
Meals : Breakfast
Day 3: Kyoto
Today, you will visit the Temple of the Golden Pavillion, one of Kyoto's most famous landmarks. It is also known as the Kinkakuji Golden Pavilion.
Following that, you'll visit Fushimi Inari Taisha, a Shinto shrine. Ten thousand crimson-colored shrine gates, known from the film "Memories of a Geisha," surround the shrine. We will have Buddhist cuisine for lunch, called 'shojin ryori' in Japanese. We then move on to Kiyomizudera, a Buddhist temple with a wooden observation deck offering stunning views of Kyoto. Enjoy strolling through the temple grounds and quaint streets of the area that bring you all the charm of traditional, historical Japan.
We finish this day in Gion, in downtown Kyoto, one of the most widely recognized geisha districts in the country.
Accommodation : The Prince Kyoto Takaragaike, Autograph Collection
Meals : Breakfast
Day 4: Nara
We are spending this day in Nara, the capital of Japan during the 8th century. Nara is only a short train ride away from Kyoto. We begin our visit at Todaiji, a large Buddhist temple complex. In its Great Buddha Hall, you will find the world's largest bronze statue of Buddha. After Todaiji, we will take a stroll in a meticulously designed and maintained Isuien Garden.
A trip to Nara would not be complete without exploring Nara Park. In the park, you can feed the numerous friendly deer roaming freely, and certainly add more Japanese photos to your growing collection. We will return to Kyoto after visiting the Kasuga Taisha Shinto shrine.
Meals : Breakfast
Day 5: Kyoto and Tokyo
On the last morning in Kyoto, you will have the option of participating in optional activities. You can either choose to go on a scenic cycling tour around Kyoto's Arashiyama area where you can admire bamboo forest groves, or you can participate in a traditional tea ceremony and sample Kyoto green tea.
Having concluded our visit to Western Japan, we will board the so-called 'shinkansen' bullet train and reach Tokyo in just a little over 2 hours. Upon our arrival at Tokyo Station, we will explore and walk around the fashionable, elegant, and vibrant Ginza area before reaching your hotel for a well-deserved overnight rest.
Meals : Breakfast and Lunch
Day 6: Tokyo
Experience Tokyo on a one-day tour and explore the city guided by a local expert.
First on the itinerary is a visit to the Edo Tokyo Museum and Imperial Palace. The country's history, culture, and traditions are vividly exhibited in these vibrant and diverse places. Moving on, we will stop at the city's old downtown district, Shitamachi, or Asakusa, where ordinary people lived and traded for centuries. We will then embark on a cruise along the Sumida River - surely one of the most enjoyable ways to see and appreciate the greatness of Tokyo.
After the cruise, we will visit the Tokyo Tower. At the end of the tour, we will take you to Harajuku and Omotesando so you can experience Japan's funky, colorful, and stylish side.
Day 7: Hakone (Mt. Fuji)
Get away from Tokyo's hustle and bustle for a day at Hakone, the gateway to Japan's tallest mountain, Mt. Fuji, and the surrounding national park. Spend a day exploring Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park in your own vehicle as well as Hakone's experiential forms of transportation. Take a ride on the second-longest cable car in the world up Mount Owakudani, and enjoy the sulfurous fumes, hot springs, and hot rivers in this active volcanic area. You'll also want to try Hakone's famous black eggs, the Owakudani. Local legend has it that eating one of these eggs will add seven years to your life. The eggs are hard-boiled in Hakone's sulfuric hot springs. Sail across Lake Ashinoko, a lake formed by a volcanic eruption 3000 years ago, aboard a majestic pirate ship. There is a chance to see Mt. Fuji throughout the day, but please note that she is a notoriously shy mountain and good weather is required.
Day 8: Tokyo departure
Depending on your departure time, you may have some free time to go shopping or take a stroll alone. We will transfer you to the airport in a private vehicle.
