With the 7/30 and 7/31 movie issue, i suggest skipping the movie on 7/30 and spending time with Ann if you kept the friendship route to boost her on the correct day, and then watching the movie on 7/31 since thats the day Charm is boosted. Otherwise, ive had no issues so far.

At this point I feel that they no longer care about their Walkthrough/Guide and they don’t care that it has errors and the new people who want to do 100% can’t do it if they don’t check what’s wrong

as this point im starting to sound like a broken record but 7/31 the drink boosts Kindness not Charm please go back thorugh this guide and start fixing it because this many mistakes just shows that you either didnt take the time to double check everything or that when you updated the guide from the old version you didnt change everything over to the updated version

I have followed this guide to a tee. Unless it’s something I’ve done, the movie on 7/30 boosts Charm, not Guts…

Yeh and 7/17 boosts Guts not Knowledge seems to be a theme with this guy theres a lot of things that are wrong in this guide

Unless it’s something I’ve done, the movie on 7/30 boosts Charm, not Guts…

You don’t get 10 notes, you get 10 points from having read the book that boosts movies and chihaya’s boost as well. Since the pc release, they know how points work better (datamining I guess, or something along the lines), and that’s how much you get.

i didn’t get anything from sitting on the couch on 7/30 and only 3 guts from the movie.. not 10. i got the guts reading and everything. From what I’m seeing in the comments this guide seems pretty inaccurate and def needs an update

Also, you don’t only have to sit on the couch on 7/30, you also have to repeteadly choose stay longer (about twice or three times). Only after doing that will you get +3 guts. You have to think a little bit more guys… But I’ll give you that the guide doesn’t say this, however you can guess what you actually have to do.

7/26 – not getting a confidant hangout with Ryuji but a message from Yusuke saying he’s coming to Leblanc on the 27th

i need the update soon

I have followed this guide to a tee. I did everything exactly as it says. However on 7/8 I did not rank up Proficiency 3->4. However on 7/10 when watching the second part of the DVD I did. Is this going to create an issue later on in the game?

I have the same issue, kinda. I’ve just finished 7/8 crafting tools but mine didn’t rank up as well. Hopefully I can rank it up next proficiency activity

What do you do if you couldn’t do the final confidant with Ann?

July 14th correct answers Question 1 choice 3 Red King Crab (Paralithodes) Question 2 choice 3 It caused confusion in the economy

July 13th correct answers Question 1 choice 3 64 degrees Question 2 choice 2 Zhuge Liang Question 3 choice 2 Barbarians heads Question 4 choice 1 to offer them instead of heads

July 11th correct answers question 1 choice 2 Memories that last a long time Question 2 choice 3 infinite Question 3 choice 3 forever

July 1st correct answer choice 3 barbarians head

So I didn’t get my Profiency rank up on 7/8 and I followed everything the guide said. Did I mess up somewhere? Also this guide has been really funky. Is it being updated consistently?

Same with me.

I have red some comments and uhh do i do the Ann hangout seven if it doesn’t give a rank or?

Can you skip the flowerpedia on 7/12 and do the twin event on 7/12

So 7/30 Ann. when do i make up for this or did i mess up?

Dawg me too. We messed up on 7/8 where we were suppose to go for the romance option idk why they gave us an option for friendship if we were suppose to go romance in order to lvl up to max on 7/30 smh!

So I got on 7/30 and I’m having to the Ann problem that everyone else is having (someone needs to fix this guid) anyway I know that their is a solution but from what I saw on the earlier comments it involves not going to the aquarium with Akechi but seeing that I have already done that is their another solution for my situation?

Sorry if this has been answered, the formatting on the comment section is a bit atrocious but, following Kurosu’s Ann Solution, since you skip a Twin event and it seems you have to do them in order for them to unlock correctly, what month/day would you be able to make up that missed date?

You can make up on lost activities due to accident in December. As for below comments the guide says recommended meaning the choice to follow all of it is completely upto you. As for miscellaneous items like protein and sp recovery items are completely recommended again you don’t need to buy any. As for female confidants romancing then is A PLAYER choice you don’t have to If you so desire, for completionist there’s a special scene for when you DO romance everyone, so there’s that for that portion.

people have been searching red anon for the tae takemi problem, it is actually ren anon not red

my guts didn’t rank up on 7/6 when I read the ghost encounters book, help

Giga garbage guide just edit it or delete it before confusing even more people.

Now I discover the fucking nonsense at 7/20 like how the HELL you except people to craft tools that arent even unlocked since we need rank 6 magician ?

Fucking terrible guide.

TERRIBLE GUIDE just TERRIBLE

forcing romance but not mentioning it, forcing early stats and delaying confidants, relaying on some absurd RNG and if you FUCK UP just ONCE you are pretty much done with your run or have to make so many reearange that it isn’t even fun.

Fucking TERRIBLE.

Yea, not mentioning the romance being needed for Ann and Takemi is a huge issue. As for everything else, the RNG is fine as long as you save.

June and July is where everything seemed to slowly come apart, but with help in the comments, the run can still be salvaged! Follow the Ann and Takemi workarounds and you should be good; you’ll have plenty of time in December to get them rank 10.

What a fucking confusing guide. Why do you FORCE all dating for this to work ?? What I’m supposed to do with Ann and Takemi? What the fuck is “Red Anon” solution and why this is not written in the guide ? We should have the choice, I don’t want to date all girls, I just want my romance with Makoto but if I follow the guide it will fucking screw-up everything.

My only guess is to ignore those days with social stats increase and choose Ann when she’s available to upgrade her to rank 10 whenever its possible.

Btw why FORCE those insane early stats increase when SO MANY confidants are available.

I don’t understand and this is coming from someone who had 0 problem with this guide UNTIL NOW because that romance forced bullshit romance screw everything up and no other alternative is mentioned…

Holy shit I’m pissed…

Female confidant romance options are PLAYERS CHOICE. If you don’t want to then choose the other options.

SOOOO FRUSTRATING! HOW DO THEY RXPECT YOU TO FARM 1MIL YEN USING THIS SANDMAND CONCEPT WHEN TO TRIAN TAKES DAYS?!?! NOT SECONDS!! AND YOU NEED TO USE THE FRICKEN SANDMAN YOU MAKE ON THAT DAY IN MEMENTOS TO COLLECT ONE MILLION YEN. ITS LIKE A DUMB ASS CHICKEN OR EGG THEORY. I NEED SANDMAN TO FARM MONEY ON THIS DAY BUT IT TAKES DAYS TO MAKE SANDMAN AND I WAS GIVEN NO HEADS UO TO CREAT HIM! INFACT THE DANG GUUDE LITERALLY SAYS CREATE HIM THEN. WAIT TO LEVEL UP ON OR BEFORE 8/2 THAT MAKES NO SENSE THIS IS A DAY BY DAY GUIDE YOU IDIOT!!! PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP BEFORE I PULL MY OWN TEETH OUT!

somebody please take a look at 7/26!! SANDMAN!!! YOU CANT MAKE/TRAIN HIM AND USE HIM ON THAT DAY!!! and explain how we are supposed to make sandman, put him in training while we are in mementos and pull him back out before finishing mementos?!?!?!? THAT MAKE COMPLETELY NO SENSE!!! how can i put sandman in training and level him up to 40 luck if i need him to confuse the bosses of the missions THAT I HAVE TO DO DURING THAT MEMNTOS INFLITRATION. this is literally driving me crazy trying to explain and making me so frustrated. you cannot create a sandman. train him for momentos without leaving momentos. training does not advance unless the day advances. you neeed him to farm certain momento bosses for millions that they specifically syay you have to get!!! and this is a day by day guide. im beyond frustrated at whoever made this guide to the point of fist fighting/ and tears.

I mean…. I left with almost 2 million yen (1.8mil) farming with confuse on the appropriate bosses. Without using Sandman. You can still use other characters that have pulinpa or any other ability that confuses. THe problem is that it takes time. That’s the problem.

on 7/31 some options say friend ship. does this mean you dont have to date the girls to reach rank 10?

For anyone that are having trouble with the whole Ann/ takemi. From December 8th to basically the 22nd is free time so you can just make it up from there. So keep following the guide and you should be fine.

Hi, so I could just skip the event on 7/30 and follow the guide until December or do I still have to to the event on 7/30 ?? Thank you for your help 😉

I am 7/26, due to lack of funds I am a social link behind on Kawakami so wont be able to do her request in the mementos run any advice to make for it?

I was out of funds too, so I sold some health items and extra accessories and old weapons.

I forgot to return the 90210 DVD on 7/26 and therefore could not get the +3 Kindness that day. Still got +1 Kind by cleaning the toilets but I would like to know if this is a dramatic error or if I can catch up later in the game and still continue using this guide 🙁

There’s plenty of time to catch up so your good

What’s the point in buying SP recovery ítems all the time. You could probably Buy more SP Adhesives with the money you end up spending and by midgame they’re completely useless

I have some questions regarding the “Ann and Takemi problems”.

Before anything else I want to say that this guide is pretty spot on on what to do. I’m now at 7/8 and haven’t got a single problem…thus far!

So yeah I just reached the first romance option in the game on 7/8 with Ann. What I want to know is what is the guide telling you to do exactly? Are we supposed to romance Ann or friendship her on that date so that the rest of the guide works? I wanted to go Kasumi like pretty much a lot of people but I can go Ann if I need to. I can do Kasumi on my second playthrough if I want and also; will I have to romance Takemi later on too for the guide to work? Thanks for the answers in advance you guys rock!

I completed the game just 2 days ago l. You get plenty of time in december (before the final boss). I think you get a a couple of days of Free time. Tho I am unsure if both ann and takemi are available tho

Hi did all of u get the rank 4 proficiency on the day stated, I did all the reloads and do not get it on the day stated

I did not get it either. I was able to get it with the DVD tho, so you’re missing just one proficiency point. I’m looking to see if it’s important or not; it turns out that for some scenarios you don’t need that point at the given time or something else gives you enough to level up the next time.

7/12 it says to read Flowerpedia. Wouldn’t it be better to do something else more useful ? Read another book (knowledge +3 at this date) or even hangout with Akechi, Ohya or Ryuji ?

Edit : Not Ryuji of course. We could also advance the dvd watch (to fill the Hifumi gap later) or hangout with the twins to not sacrifice their hangout with Ann’s fix.

Edit : Not Ryuji of course. We could also advance the dvd or hangout with the twins to fill up the Hifumi gap or the twins hangout loss with the Ann rank 10 fix.

What date is that

Hey guys. I saw the comments about the Ann/Takemi thing. Just to be completely sure, if I want to romance someone else than those two (because Futaba best girl), is it still possible to get Ann AND Takemi to 10 ? (With the comments of some users here to fix this issue)

Also, another thing I don’t understand is like 7/9 for the Kawakami dialog it says “Romance”. But if I remember well, the romance status isn’t set at this moment ? Or does the guide is just telling that if you want to romance her later (at rank 9) you HAVE to take this option ? I find this confusing…

I had a problem, and I have two days to go up to 10 for both ann and ryuji, any advice on what day to resign to go up to 10?

Hi, the comment section is confusing with all the solutions for Tae and Ann. I just want to romance Kasumi without deviating too much from the guide. Could I please get a concise dates/ times where I need to alter the guide to get Tae and Ann to be just friends rank 10?

Greetings, I also went for Kasumi romance so I was in the same spot. Use my solution for Ann and Red Anon’s solution for takemi. They both worked for me.I just reached early december and I maximized all confidants to 10. The guide also has a lot of optional-gift and gym events in december so you can also make up for lost time there. If you decide to follow my workaround you will see that I say that at some point you will need to read a book to unlock the aquarium. At an octomber there is a night where the guide tells you to just sleep. Use that night to read the book.

Hi! I will like to romance only Kasumi, but in 9/7, in the kawakami confidant, only gives the romance option, will this screw me?

currently reloaded a save of my run on 7/27 because i couldn’t bring my confidant to 10 with ann on the 30th, anyone know what i can do to fix it or can i just switch up my confidant activity a bit?

I have listed an Ann solution earlier this month on this page. It comes with sacrificing a night with the twins. However I have now progressedto late Octomber and I can also say that there is a night where the guide merely tells you to sleep. So you can freely replace it at that date.

Is this also where we can continue the one we missed out on the twins? I read it is needed for the outing on the month of January

On 7/20 it says to craft a bunch of infiltration tools you haven’t unlocked yet. The new tools unlock when Morgana reaches rank 6 on 7/25. It seems more important to focus solely on getting the proficiency +3 boost.

I have a question, i was following the guide. However, on 6/4 (June) i could not talk to ann. Subsequently, on 6/7 i could not find Ann yet again. Any idea what i can do to make sure i can max Ann out by July? Any help will be appreciated!

on 7/29 evening do I need to change things or I follow the guide because I’m doing Kurosu Ann solution.

If i wish to romance Takemi, do i follow the guide, and then follow the Ann solution?

The Ann situation happens before takemi but yes just choose romance lines on the Rank 9 takemi event. So just follow the guide regarding Takemi. If you wish for an Ann solution I have posted one in the comments below. After reaching octomber I can also confirm that there is a night where the guide tells you to simply go to bed, in which you can replace the twin hangout that I sacrificed.

Awesome, thank you so much for the help!

Hi, i have yet to reach this stage, but from reading through the comments i can tell that the author romanced both Ann and Takemi. However for my playthrough i am only willing to romance Takemi. So what should i do? Should i follow the guide, or is there any other way? Any help will be much appreciated

Any news if the guide will be updated regard Ann/Takemi issue. I am really confused about it.

Not from the looks of it, the author has abandonded the old months. I have listed an Ann solution below and another user has a Takemi solution on the August page ( i think he listed it here as well somewhere). I can confirm both of those worked. I reached octomber and I have both Ann and Takemi at rank 10. A minor note : Kawakami, Makoto and Fortune confidant have no issues. I reached rank 10 normaly following the guide . Only 3 females left to see if there are any issues.

Sorry, which solution you are talking about? could you please clarify

I thing this is this one, but i need a confirmation by someone who tested it.

Here is the Takemi Solution.

I actually think I found the solution to the problem with Takemi. 8/13, choose friend route.

8/15, make sure that makoto is at the darts game to get that 1 extra point, otherwise this will not work.

8/16, spend time with makoto and instead of takemi at do big bang challenge. It gets you all those big stat buffs earlier than what is anticipated but it all adds up as when you take again you’ll get the bonus gut points. Which makes up for not doing evening takemi

8/18, you’ll have enough knowledge and kindness to do without nostalgic steak based off my math. hang out with takemi at tsukishima, pick “go easy on me”. Results I’m “bond will grow”.

8/20 Rank up makoto, use the answers from the 9/20 day in the September guide

Everything else is exactly the same until 9/20. At which point you can do the last level of Takemi.

This keeps all nesscerary stat points for rank ups before needed while still getting Takemi to 10. I hope this helps.

I read all the comments, and thank to all of you I stop before doing somehting wrong. Just to be clear, if I follow this guide and take the romantic road with both Ann and Makoto, is this guide still 100% accuracy ? (besides the fact on the crafting tools on 7/20 as mentioned). Thank you in advice and pardon my english i’m French.

Of course I mean Ann/Takemi…

Yes besides those 2 the guide has been accurate for me so far ( i am at early september). However we have found workarounds around the Ann Takemi issues as well if you wish to stick with someone else ( or just 1 of them). The only other minor issue are translations on names of books etc but you can easily figure out what the guide means

Thank you very much fort your answer. I see the workarounds, good work ! The book translations is not an issue, even in the french version of the game. Just one more question if I may, is there another confident apart Ann and Takemi which requires to take the romantic road for the rest of this guide ?

Up to the point I have reached, no dont think so.It followed friend path on Kawakami and if I recall right from persona 5 Makoto gives the same amount of points despite if you go friend or romance. The same applies to the fortune confidant . There are more female confidants coming in later months though that I have no idea if he goes romance or not. But I havent seen any comments saying there was an issue with any other confidant besides Ann or Takemi. I will make a comment here if I see something however I am still near the middle of the game at 9/6.

Thank you again for your answer and for your solution for Ann problem. It was very helpful ! Too bad thant we, player, have figure it out by ourself because this guide, which is good so far, never mention that you have to take the romantic road… But you and the guy who finds the solution for Takemi did a really great job for us !

So is it safe to say, that if i wish to romance only Takemi, i should follow the solution for Ann?

Does anyone have a work around for the ann/takemi situation i saw a comment saying to follow one the ann solutions then follow the takemi one in the august page but i cant find the latter.

The takemisolution is written by Ren Anon ( or red anon i cant recall). Ctrl+F while on august page and you will find it easily. I also have my own Ann solution here in july page

Thanks for writing this guide it’s been a real help but I have a question. During the mementos requests on 7/26 before entering I forgot to exchange the previous DVD for the ICU one and missed out on 3 kindness points? Will this affect the outcome of things? I’m worried cause I know some parts require specific social stats.

I realized while going through the guide. I forgot to eavesdrop on 7/30 for the One who bullied the bullies and had accidently saved over it. Is there another way to fix it? Or would I have to get it through a new game +?

My Ann confidant doesmt say its going to rank up on 7/30 ive done everything up to this guides expectations i dont know what to do

Its an issue a lot of us complained about. The author of the guide went romance path for Ann,thats how you can rank her up on 7/30. I wrote down a solution a few comments below, it will require you to sacrifise a hangout with twins at 8/3 but even that can be fixed later when you will have a lot of free nights ( probably, at least you did in persona 5). Look for my comment at the 11th of April

8/3 hangout with twins in the evening. how do you meet ann in the evening evening?

As I know you can only meet Ann on day time right? Sorry if Im wrong.

So, by the time i reached 7/6, it says that my guts would have ranked up to rank 4, but it didn’t. Can you please explain if this is a mistake in the guide or not. And will i be able to salvage this problem in a later date in game? Please help because i spent a long time following every single detail from this guide and i don’t want all my work to go to waste.

I was in the same boat, but i figured out what I missed, during after school, while it isn’t raining go sit on a blue bench in kichijoji, it should be east of the dumpling shop

Hi dear, I’m in this month, since in April I didn’t do a +1 Proficiency which busted me a bit, can I recover it when I have to burn the statistics? Will there be free nights ahead?

Hey mate , glad to hear I helped. If you can please clarify which days to use the luck reading. For example do you use it on 8/8 on knowledge where you get 1 knowledge from crossword and 3 from reading ? And on the next day 8/9 before the flower shop for kindness etc ? I was also planning to try Ren Anon takemi solution so I am glad it works. Regarding the Aquarium I posted a solution for it a a comment to myself. Go buy an aquarium related title book from Shibuya bookstore. Dont read it yet.At some point the guide will ask you to read stat books when slack in classroom or the train even when you have them maxed ( probably for a thieves den achievement) replace on of those books for the aquarium one.The date I have my eyes on is early octomber where he says to read a kindness book ( or was it charm i dont remember). That way you will also have the aquarium ready for the guide’s planned twin hangout event at early octomber

I can confirm as of 8/20 the workaround works. I’m not yet at 9/20 but it said during Takemi’s hangout that she would rank up soon.

I wasn’t sure when to use the luck readings so I did the following:

8/4 – knowledge 8/6 – kindness 8/7 – charm 8/8 – knowledge 8/9 – kindness (same as guide) 8/10 – guts 8/11 – charm (reached rank 5 here instead of 8/12) 8/13 and 8/14 – guts 8/15 proficiency 8/16 – knowledge (boosts the gain from doing Big Bang Burger Challenge as instructed in the Takemi workaround)

Not sure if they’re all necessary but I’ve not had any problems so far.

Well it only costs 5k so its better safe than sorry. You can easily get all your money back from a single negotation. I have to say though I am exteremly dissapointed that so many of us had to brainstorm solutions and the author is MIA for 8 days.

First of, thank you for all your hard work in posting work around. Honestly I went to her every day I knew I was going to get a stat point that this guide listed, since she’s is available during the day. Using the death confidant work around, by the end of the summer nearly all of my social stats are maxed, only guts remains un-maxed and I skipped both the nostalgic stake and the LeBlanc study sessions. Working my way towards 9/20 for the death rank up but I know that it will happen as I got the prompt after hanging with her once. So in theory we have 2 open spots to catch up.

So here is what I did to solve the problem. 1) I followed Kurosu’s detailed soulation posted in the july page. 2) The moment you unlock luck readings, use them at every given opportunity, this guide underutilizez them but they can give you an edge up. If you keep using the serive and rack up extra knowledge and kindness you can skip both the nostalgic stake on 8/18 and the studying on 8/19. 2) Their is a Takemi soulation posted by Ren Anon on the August page, this is the one I used. If you follow both solutions and utilize the luck readings, you can hang out with the Twin’s, the event missed, on 8/19. All that is missing is the Aquarium, but this can be obtained by reading a book. This works as I am doing it as of now.

Accidently I made a new comment instead of replying here , please check the comment above yours ^

Thanks for the tips. What do you mean by having Makoto as 3rd partner on 8/15? Do you mean as an attendee, or do you play with 3 partners at that point?

I am sorry for not being more clear. I mean she should be the third person attending but she should not be your partner. All she needs is the +1 from being there. Also, you should follow as the guide suggests for the scores. You’ll need to make sure to win with your two partners, and get to the round that allows them to ask you for help and respond as the guide indicates. This is all tested; I have just finished the palace in early October and everything is back in sync with the guide.

I have solved the Ann and Takemi problem without sacrificing anything. 7/30 Day – Hang out with Takemi instead of Ann. This gives the one extra day you need to catch her up so you can follow Takemi as normal from there. 08/15 Day – At the darts game, invite Yusuke and get either Morgana or Ryuji as your second partner. The third player MUST be Makoto. This lets her rank up a day faster than the guide. 8/26 and after: You now have access to Chihaya’s affinity fortunes. the guide uses them often but not every time she is available. check in with her every night until you catch her free and do an affinity ranking for Ann. Bring a Lovers Arcana and you will only need to see her at most twice. 9/20 Finish Ann instead of doing Makoto.

Sorry for bothering. Did you try it, or is it just a theory? I have another question too: On 08/15, when you say to play darts, is it needed to do any score in particular? I mean the 3x Bullseye or 3x triple 20. Thanks for the help!

Sorry for bothering, is this a theory or did you already try it? On 8/15 when you play darts, you have to do something (3x bullseyes or similar) in order to do what you are explaining, or just having Makoto as the 3rd player? Thanks for help, really helpful!

hey sorry but what did you mean by this gives you one extra day you need to catch her up? should i hang with ann on the day the guide says to hang out with takemi at the start of next month?

What do you do on 8/13 since you bumped up that meeting? Hang out with Ann instead or still hang out with Takemi?

7/30 Day – Hang out with Takemi instead of Ann. Then keep following the guide as normal, 8/13 you still hang out with Takemi.

You will be using the Chihaya’s affinity fortunes to build affinity towards Ann

What did you do for Takemi, though? Going by your solution, Takemi should rank up to level 10 on 8/13, but for me, she isn’t.

She still should get rank 10 by 8/16. That’s what the other guy that commented means by “This gives the one extra day you need to catch her up so you can follow Takemi as normal from there.”

When do you make up for makoto then?

I still haven’t gotten to makoto’s rank 10 event.

But she should rank up a day faster than this guide due to bringing her as the 3rd player at the darts mini game judging by what the other person posted before.

I’ll test it out and see if it works for her case.

So when does Makoto get a free day?

I tried this out, currently at 9/27 and Makoto doesn’t quite work out with this method. Also had to rotate a different event to handle Takemi rank 10 since she didn’t appear on evening of 8/16; instead I had a burger and hang out with her during the day time next time. Otherwise I follow the guide closely and hope to work out Makoto at some point soon.

Can I just finish Ann & Takemi’s social links on early free days in December? I don’t want to sacrifice twin events even if they hardly do anything. I would just miss out on 2 training sessions in December. Just want confirmation that my plan will work. Can someone Please Confirm???

I messed up the councilor social link by not bringing the right persona for rank 4 so I’m stuck at rank 4 now and am on the 13th of June. Is there a point before 9/20 when I can get the missing rank without falling to far behind?

I did this kind of mistakes on Persona 4 Golden, and I advise you to give priority to him. In case of Maruki, you want to rank it up in order to unlock the 3th semester. You should try to move a day event from another confidant (Ann, Ryuji, Yusuke or Makoto, for instance) that they guide tells you to do on mondays or fridays (the days Maruki is available). Is not ideal, but you will have free time in December to do that event you sacrificed. Hope this helps.

Thank you for the response. I subbed out a Ryuji day so that helps.

Is there really no easy swaps for Ann and takemi? Maybe boost fortune to the rank where you get affinity readings sometime in August, do an and takemi enough for tank 10 instantly without going lover route for either, and swap hangouts in September to 7/30 and takemi rank 10 day in August??? Just some solution with No Drawbacks. The guide has been perfect up to this point… Maybe swap 2 protein training day’s with ann and takemi hangouts as early as possible???

I have posted a solution for Ann at the cost of a twin hangout event on 3/8. I have an idea for takemi as well but I need to finish the 4th palace first.

Hi Ersa I created a Sandman persona based on your guide and I was wondering how you got 40,000, yen using Pulinpa? My sandman used Pulinpa on Fuu-ki but it doesn’t throw away 40,000 yen?

Good luck expecting a response from him lol. July and August have a ton of comments asking what to do with ann and takemi issue and he doesnt even bother. After 6th of April he ignored this month.

Strange, it was pretty rare but Fuu-ki also trow away 40,000 yen on some turn for me (but most of the time it was just an item instead of money). But honestly, trying to get money based on luck + Pulinpa is really not the best way to get money in the Mementos, after using it on Fuu-ki (and only on Fuu-ki, i didn’t use it on Oberon, he really like to use Mazionga, an element that Sandman and Morgana are weak against so for me it’s clearly not a good fight to use it) i did not put Sandman in Lockdown like it was stated in the guide, i deleted him from my personas because having a Magician Persona is really not helpful while maxing up Confidant and put all my stamps point in treasures.

Between Cognition Treasures lv.11, Chariot confidant lv.7 “Insta-kill” and a team almost lv 34/37 i just had to run around in Mementos killing everyone without a fight and getting 11 Materials/Treasures every time i found something on the ground (in a little more than one hour of farming i got 500K by fighting and 940K in treasure to sell + what i already had on me), the treasure lv.11 also work on those ATM you can find at the start of some level, i was farming on Path on Kaitul lv.7 (to be able to save on lv.6 whenever i wanted) and there is often an ATM at the start of the level that give me a Chewing Soul and it did give me 11 Chewing Soul every time it appear (so yeah, 20/30% of the time i’ve done that level i got 11 item that give 100 SP to an ally, way better than those 5 SP items that we still have to get if we follow that guide, those Stamps level are just broken).

So I went to Feburary on the guide and noticed free time there, is it possible to just hang out with ann and takemi on their rank up dates and be level 9 with them, and then max them out in Febuary on 2 free days, instead of taking protein and going to the gym? I’m on 7/26 Before going into memento’s. I’ve followed the guide to the letter and have gotten everything right. I don’t want to go the multiple dating route.

Well.. bunch of holes in the guide but only one I really have to complain about ow using the sandman exploit against there recommended shadows is a bad call, it’s borderline impossible to get fuu ki to drop money more than like 5 Times and using it against Oberon is idiotic as the mazionga will undoubtedly kill you in a battle of attrition while trying to farm the money. I will farm the money myself but it will take some time

Is the crafting of specific tools and the Mona dialogue essential or is it just the Proficiency +3 we need?

As others have said it’s impossible to craft all tools before 7/25 (Mona rank 5-6)

Check the comment right below, I have writen a solution. No idea if you truly need them but I certainly didnt need lockpicks either, had over 20 at this point and eternal lockpick farm starts in next palace

Reading the Flower Book on 7/12 seems kinda useless, no? I don’t think it increases kindess gained from working or anything and couldn’t I just look up answers when working at the flower shop? Why not hang out with someone else available or read a different book?

I’m totally with you on this. This book is useless and you can read it way later. I think it’s better to read something else (more useful) or hangout with someone. Any enlightenment here ?

I have been following this guide up till 7/20. Here it tells me to craft at least one of each infiltration tool. However, you don’t unlock most of the tools until Magician is at rank 6. So this is a big issue to the guide.

You are right , they unlock on 25 when you rank up morgana. The tools are not that necessary imo, however here is the solution and the steps I took : You will transfer the crafting to July 25th. So just move all the Leblanc activities one day earlier. To be precice I did : Bubbly Hills dvd on 20th, Retro game at 21th 2th AND 23th. Then do the crafts 2th. Same activities, just a different order. There is a catch though : the guide completely forgot that you need to move outside of leblanc in order to buy the video game.So you MUST buy it on or before the 20th. Because afterwars you wont be able to get out of leblanc at nights until the 26th.

Thanks for this! One thing though, you can’t go out on the 20th, so you need to buy the game on the 19th.

This actually is probably not necessary. I just ended up making lockpicks anyway – all I cared about was the +3 proficiency. There’s a trophy for crafting every item, but I don’t really care.

I found a solution to the ann problem. Tested it myself just now. The cost will be 1 twin hangout ( you dont really need them its just skill cards) and the unlocking of Shinagawa ( a hangout spot) On 7/29 instead of Akechi-Devil event go with Ann to the museum. You will get +2 from dialogues but it wont be enough. Therefore buy truffles from the mall just before you talk with her and you will get +3 and will be able to rank up. Important note : The 29/7 eventgives +5 points to Justice and + 3 to devil. However devil is already ready to rank up to 2 and devil needs 3 points to rank to 4. So dont worry about it.

7/30 rank Ann to level 10 in the day, go Akechi at evening ( +3 points to justice). 8/2 rank up With Akechi as normal at the evening on 8/3 Instead of going with the twins go do the Star rank up that you missed on 7/30 to prepare Akechi.

Overall you would have traded the twin hangout at 8/3 with Ann rank 10. However I will once again note that this will also cost the unlocking of Shinagawa which would happen if you went with akechi at 29/7. The guide does ask you to go there with Kasumi at December but it says its OPTIONAL and probably is in order to get a gift.

Threenotes on my original comment 1) I made a typo on the last line of first paragraph. I meant justice needs 3 points to rank 4 2) You dont need truffles for Ann after all. The third response at museum gives 3 points if you have a lovers persona. You wont even get the option to give a gift because you will be set. 3) I found another way to unlock Shinagawa , through a book from the bookstore. As for the time needed to buy it, the guide maxes most stats by the end of summer and yet suggests to keep reading stat books when you have free time ( train – class etc). This is probably in order to get the thieve’s den ach to read 40 books. Just replace one of those reads with the one that unlocks the hangout. One good example is early octomber when the guide asks to reach some kindness book ( which is already maxed). So in the end you will only delay a twin hangout which might even be possible to do in the fall that has a lot of free evenings ( at least it did in persona 5)

Thank you so much for the solution! However, the twin hangouts aren’t that useless. I read online that you can unlock one final outing with them in January if you complete all of them excluding Miura beach, Ueno museum and Shibuya Station Underground mall. Maybe we can do the one from 8/3 at a later date instead of one of the 3 mentioned above so we can see that final outing.

I will try to fit them at an evening on Autumn.Hopefully they can fit, there were a lot of free evenings at Persona 5 near the end.

The reason I chose to trade the twins its because I checked the guide and every day is busy either with stats or confidant rank ups. And I know that author did the same thing with takemi so that would be another problem to solve on August( not to mention the upcoming Tower confidant is also available at days) I will try to come up with a solution for takemi as well.

Did you make any progress with that ? I’m at 7/10 and I’m considering taking a little break until I’m 100% sure there’s a way around both takemi and ann

Sadly this solution doesn’t seems to work for me, tried 3 different times (even by going back to my oldest save on 6/27), Akechi is not available on 8/3, he is beside the Penguin Sniper in Kichijoji but only say that he “need to get to work” so i can’t get his rank up to level 4 that day. Honestly between that “Romance Everyone” bullsh*t (i guess it’s going to be a mess later on that guide if it’s continue that way, a little note at the beginning of the guide would not have hurt… i would not have lost 50 hours on that playthrough following it), the craft all infiltration tools on 7/20 (before they are available on 7/25 and even without the materials to create them since, if you follow this guide, you would only get them in Mementos on 7/26), and the save scum from last month (i almost trow my pad at the screen on 6/21…) i’m going to drop that guide, i will rush to the ending and try another guide for the 100% confidant next time. However i still want to say thanks for trying to get a solution.

Regarding Metshael : my lack of commas probably caused confusion, you are mean to hangout with akechi at 7/30 night and 8/2.On 8/3 you are meant to hang out with Star confidant with whom you didnt hangout at 7/30 (as the guide says) in order to go to Akechi. I hope that helps.

Regarding Nike : Yes you can freely hangout with twins at 7/29.My solution only sacrifices tha hangout of 8/3.

Regarding anonymous : I havent made progress, finished 4th palace last night , but According to a lot of people comments on august, the solution for takemi writen by ” Ren Anon” works perfectly. Use ctrl+F while at august page and write his name. You will find his suggestion at the fifth search result.

I know it might be asking a lot, but could you broad stroke your path for us, like break it down in brackets on which days to do what. I’m currently using this guide and I’m spending my fair amount of time in Mementos today so I’d like to get the proper path before I get to the point where I mess up.

wait what do we do in the 7/29 evening? hangout with the twins?

Could this be a possible solution, instead of hanging out with Ann on 7/30, do the next available daytime event in the guide, essentially skipping this event and creating a free time slot. Then at every available opportunity, rush fortune to rank 5 and take advantage of the days she is available and get your fortune read and use these days to boost lovers and death confidants? This should create some additional days to maximize of the benefits of her services and potentially get the needed points towards those rank ups when they occur (if skipping the romance option). My only concern is that we would be skipping some moon, sun and star events temporarily. We would make up for these, in theory, on the evenings this guide tells us to do the fortune events since this would be free time slots.

for 7/27, because I read the dialogue instead of the option. to friendship Kawakami make sure you sec “Got it” for friendship. You get 2+ notes instead of 0 notes. I selected “I’m Master; Your Maid” and I got no points which is a mistake.

If anyone reads this before making the same mistake, this guide has that interaction all messed up (at least in the non romance route), for friendship it should be, in order: Option 1 +3 Option 2 +3 Option 2 +2 Option 1 +2 and for the phone call: Option 2 +2

I appreciate the work behind a guide like this, but I hope the mistakes get fixed sometime, as of I know I think I was unlucky to pick this particular one to follow on my first playthrough…

For the days concerning “Star Forneus” it says ‘Buy’ instead of ‘Play’. Nothing big but I wanted to point it out.

Well guess I’ll just drop the game for a couple months and come back when a better/more complete guide is released elsewhere. This check guide/check comments to make sure I dont fuck up shit is getting old really fast. Its a shame I had to throw 50+ hrs at the game to find out.

Still no real solution for Ann huh? I know there’s going to be a bunch of free time near the end of the game but the rest of the guide isn’t even done yet – I don’t want to take the risk.. I wish there was some discord server where we could discuss these kinds of problems, or even straight with the author.

hey so i’ve looked up other guides and read other posts and questions online and it seems that we don’t actually need the sun arcana because that confidant always levels up.but you guys say to have the arcana in your party. so what is the truth?

You dont need it.Same applies for Moon.

For this guide I chose to date Ann because she’s the one I had feelings for even from the first game. I see Kasumi more as a friend and this guide hasn’t been troubling for me so far.

Well you would still have problems with takemi since not enough points

Actually I’m choosing to to go platonic on Tae Takemi and the other gals. Currently on rank 7 and have brought a persona matching her arcana too. Just need to finish her mementos request.

Hey guys, so far been following this guide to the T. However, I completely forgot to water my plant on 7/8. haha. So far the guide’s been perfect. If something doesnt happen for you, you for sure missed something because so far its perfect. Should I be worried about that plant though? Is there a fix? I watered it 8 days later, lol

Eh it will be fine. Just remember to water the plant 8 days later than you need to.

I have followed this guide perfectly 5 times and every time at 7/1 Ann doesn’t want to rank up I’m using a lover’s persona and choosing the correct options wtf is wrong I had the same thing happen with Kasumi

As long as you guys follow things properly there shouldn’t be a issue with this guide. The all romance is a turn-off for some but there will be enough free time by the end to max all confidants don’t worry and enjoy!

I have been following this guide up till 7/20. Here it tells me to craft at least one of each infiltration tool. However, you don’t unlock most of the tools until Magician is at rank 6. So this is a big issue to the guide.

Don’t freak out over being a day behind on some things. The guide is so efficient that you’ll be absolutely fine. Afterall, the game is designed so that you’d be spending time slots washing clothes and going to mementos way way more than this guide has you go. All that protein you’re buying is for the endgame when you’ll have nothing left to do because everything will be maxed already. If you don’t rank up with Ann, for example, just replace a Ryuji time slot with Ann and do Ryuji later. Or something like that. The main party members will not become unavailable AFAIK. The important thing is mostly to get Kasumi and the Councillor ranked up.

What this guy said exactly. If you’re behind on an encounter, just pick your least favourite party member (Yusuke) and rank them up when you are given free time later in the game. There is no way you will run out of time.

What if I’m behind a rank on kasumi? I at 7/20 she’s rank 3? Am I okay

7/30 fix, save first, bring Ann to Ueno Musuem, pick the right dialogue (+3), and make sure the gift option pops out (Castellas +3), next encounter with her will level max her out, hope this helps.

so then where can i put the next ann hangout in order to max her out?

but then where can i put ann’s rank 10 event??

other fix way around for 7/30… save first… bring Ann to Ueno Museum, pick the right dialogue (i forgot which one) and make sure gift option comes out (Castella, Chocolate Truffles, Uji Matcha Flan), just save scum until you got the right dialogue (+3) and gift option pops out, btw if u gave her the Castella before give her something different this time.

yo wtf it didnt get to level up Ann on 7/30

my oldest save is from 7/10

did this guide fuck it up

I have a solution for Ann, Takemi, preserving mementos and prisom events. I posted it 4 times now, but the post doesn’t appear. I don t know why…

It’s a little bit lenghty, you only miss Makoto’s gift from suidobashi (that i suppose i can get in january). How can I post the solution?

What’s up with this guide for fortune it went from .2-.3 then jumps to 1-2 on july 30th?

I dont understand the issue. On july 30th he doesnt interact with the fortune confidant. It stays 0.3 and he progresses her on August.

Welp, I guess I’m lucky I found out this Ann problem early enough (I’m on 6/21). I’ll just stop playing until this gets fixed…

Hopefully I won’t need to reload a save earlier than mid-june.

I would advise you not to delay enjoying this game just because of it. Besides there is no fix to wait about. The author has not adressed the issue at all in the comments, and in fact he did the same thing with takemi rank 10.

I will try a workaround ann later today or tomorrow at max ( I am at 17th of june). I will let you know if it works. There is also a suggested takemi solution on August page but I havent done any research on it as Ann is a more immediate issue.

Eh, I’m not that bummed about pausing my run but I understand. Thanks for trying that workaround. Let’s all hope that it works 😀

So I haven’t gotten to the issue with Ann yet – and I’ll probably figure that out when I get to it – but I just have a question. Do I *really* need to farm for over a million yen before I can use the Despair trick on the Reaper (assuming it still works by now)? It’s an awful lot of time to pour into yen farming…

I believe the despair trick has been nerfed. Don’t rely on it.

All ailments have been nerfed to only last one round, making both the reaper and pulinpa exploit practically useless. Doesn’t matter tho since they changed Ryujis insta kill skill so you can basically spent a few hrs just ramming into low-level shadows with Jose’s money boost and easily get in cash and exp. I watched a stream in the bg and had 2 million yen before I knew it

Ahhhh, okay. In that case I”m not too worried. Thank you very much!

Some of these rank ups are wrong in this guide, such as the one for knowledge and charm for Lv 4. They don’t happen right away in the days the author lists them to rank up. They actually happen on the next time you do something to increase your knowledge/charm.

Not true, all the ranks up have happened on the mentioned dates for me. If they dont happen to someone it means they missed something. Just like a lof of people claim they dont get ranks up with sojiro, kawakami etc. A single mistake or not reading a line can mess you up.

The only mistakes the guide has are the translations of books/answers (but in the case of the second you can just go with the option numbers). And ofc that he didnt mention at the start of the guide that he would romance multiple characters in order to get rank 10

The social stat rank ups have been correct for me except for charm and proficiency (charm because i didn’t go to the bathhouse in April on night to rank up Sojiro as I hadn’t been using a Herio persona, and proficiency for messing up the beef bowl work day). You probably missed something earlier in that messed up the rank up days. The confidant rank ups for the romance options are where issues arise.

Will the Ann problem be fixed soon? I’m hesitant to continue my game now.

I wouldnt count on it, he does the same with Takemi on August. The author goes for romance lines in female confidants if it ensures rank 10 earlier

Terrible guide, thanks for making me waste 40 hours.

Are you really blaming this person for you not getting everything perfect? The people who make these walkthroughs spend hours and hours on their time to help people.

Yo guys I’ve got a sick solution to the Ann relationship thing. Just romance everyone! As we all know, commitment is scary. To rectify this, just don’t commit! Of course, you WILL suffer the consequences come Valentines Day, and you ARE a terrible person, but hey, ya gotta maximize those stat gains doe

Thats not a solution , it kills role-playing.

Welp, Ann not leveling to 10 at 7/30 in Friendship route sucks. Great Job… Worst case 45h down the sink if the “fix” is before 7/16, which is my earliest save i can go back =(

The writer of the guide hasnt adressed the issue, Its been days around that, personally I will try to trade it with a twin hangout event.

Did anyone fix 7/30? Ann didn’t rank up to 10

Hi! I really like this guide, and I’m still planning to use it but… as the others pointed out, Ann didn’t rank up to 10 on 7/30 (I’m going for Kasumi). I thought I could swap the baton pass from 8/15 (Morgana and Yusuke, plus Ann observing) but didn’t work cause I need +2 Lovers instead of +1.

Does anyones figured it out? I really, really, dont want to start over or do a ng+ route.

I heard Takemi have the same problem. Mmmm… Swapping 7/30 for Takemi, doing the Baton Pass on 8/15 with Morgana, Yusuke and Ann observing, and waiting till Fall events for the other Lovers Arcana Points could work? I dont know if we can use a fre day in Fall or what… I’m just brainstorming…

For the Ann issue what I did is to order the Nostalgic Steak from 8/18 into one of the nights I was supposed to do a Prison event (but going first to talk to Chihaya to boost Knowledge attribute). Then, I moved the flower shop work on 8/9 to 8/18, so I can have 8/9 to spend time with Ann. I had also the problems with Takemi and Soujiro described before, but I need to check if the fix works (the date I’m using is 10/15 for Takemi, but I’m still on September, so I’ll have to wait to see the outcome) I hope this would help you all.

Do we miss something asside of the skill cards if we skip the prison events? Because maybe we can fix Ann’s problem with this and Takemi’s with another prison event.

I don’t know about Sojiro, is there a problem with him too?

In the Prison events we only get those skill cards (which you can get by itemizing, so it really doesn’t care). The thing with the prison events is that all of them are at night, which makes Takemi unable to get Maxed by this method. What I’m planning for her is to max her at 10/15 instead of reading the billiard book (IDK how this is going to affect, but I prefer to max her instead of read a book that I can do instead of a prison event). Also, so far I checked in the Guide there’s no more Nostalgic Steak in the near future. The Soujiro thing was solved by replacing one of the prison events, but I had to move Mishima, Ohya, Hifumi dates ahead until I got a date that Soujiro was available.

So what’s the verdict? Did you end up figuring out how to fix all the mess ups?

So this guide has gummed up a lot of people it seems. Can anyone who has used it through confirm that it works without A)romancing everyone and b) gives some wiggle room at the end

im twenty hours in and lost all steam aiming for a 100% run because of these mess-ups. any info would help as i love this game and have been dying to replay it at 100%.

Thinking the same. Is ann even worth maxing? Kinda thinking of restarting the game again but with a different guide (or at least use this one but romance everyone)

earlier in the month I missed out on the level up for proficiency and guts, will there be a future date where I can catch up?

early in the month, I wasn’t able to level up my proficiency and guts will there be a future date where I can catch up?

For the Ann problem, could just wait till you get a bunch of free time near the end of the game.

Is there a fix for the 7/30 issue that doesnt involve having to reset back to 7/8 and romancing her. Cause I don’t want to romance her and I really dont want to sac 2 hours of grinding for the mil. This guide really should have specified you HAVE to romance her.

So does this guide work? I’ve followed it till June so if doesnt work do I have to start again?

Okay, I did some shuffling around of a few days, but I managed to get it all working. I’m gonna have to actually do some inheriting rather than card using, but I’m willing to suck it up. So! Here’s the thing;

7/28 – Deny Akechi’s offer at night 7/29 – Daytime, Hang out with Ann (just get Tea) 7/30 – Night, Hang out with Akechi 7/31 + 8/2 – No change 8/3 – Night, Hifumi’s 1 > 2 event that you skipped on 7/30.

I haven’t played past that part yet, but wouldn’t that effect Ohya’s Confidants once you don’t get the points from the Event with Aketchi?

Actually this works well because you get a lot of evening free time in the new third semester based off this guide. Which is when ohya is available

Hey there, I have some questions about that solution, first of all whats the alternative for 7/28 evening ? Secondly the day of 29/7 gives points with both justice and devil. There is no way to be able to balance that out with a single interaction. And finally while on 8/3 you balance out the moon confidant, there are 2 days ( 29/7 and 8/3) where you miss out on Justice and caroline. I dont know if there is any reward in the end besides skill cards but I figured I should mention it.

I am not entirely sure that getting rank 10 with ann this way is worth all those possible future complications. I am trying to test if its possible to do it with the points of school answres later in the fall.

For 7/28, order a Nostalgic Steak. That’ll put you on track for a few other changes that need to be made to keep up with no-romance Takemi, which you can see Ren commented about in August page.

is it work?

I like this solution but for my playthrough I can’t find Akechki at night on 7/29

Regarding the issue I see all of us are facing : The guide went romance lines for Ann in order to get rank 10 and probably planned the entire guide based on that assumption.I came up with a possible solution and I want to hear opinions, I did some research and found out that there are 2 class questions where you help ann ( and get points with her) on september and november. those 2 events perhaps can provide the amount of points we need. However I dont know what event to use on 7/30 instead.

Is any solution for the 7/30 misstake?

Any solution for the issue in 7/30? Ann Takamaki didn’t rank up to 10!

So is the Ann issue fixed? And if im reading correctly you are also romancing takemi – any workarounds? You should put a warning at the beginning of the guide tbh.

I can’t “Buy Sttar Forneus on 7/22 and 7/23” is this a mistake?

If you Buy the Game console it comes with the console, it means play not buy

I can now confirm that the issue with the Ann confident is to do with romancing her, this is also a possibility with the Tae Takemi confident as well. It’s disappointing that this is the issue as I only want to romance Kasumi as I’m sure many others do.

Also if you’re having issues making Lockpicks do as I did previously and craft other items to get your proficiency.

will there be free days near the end of the game to compensate for the loss?

Any solution for the problem to rank up level 10 Ann confidant at 7/30?

Is any solution for this issue?

As I’m following this guide like many of you I have no idea if there will be free days.

Could we get 7/20 fixed as you don’t get all infiltration tools until 7/25 what I did was I played the video game on the 20th instead and I’m going to try the infiltration tools on 7/25 instead

What does it mean by trigger gift giving on the 1/7? I have given Ann the Mentioned gift and tried reloading several times I get the +3 from it, does it mean the unique dialogue from the gift or is it supposed to show an explanation about giving gifts and how they can be used to increase your confidants?

Same problem, what am i supposed to see?

judging from 8/2, I still don’t have enough points to level up Ann to 10. I swear I did everything right and it is really lucky I have a save but I have to grind mementos again….

The guide made a mistake nobody can make any of those tools on that day because the possibility to aquiere it come with the next morgana ranks up

just do another activity from the next days and interchange

Can someone help I am on 7 20 I don’t have the ability to create any of the tools listed. Can someone explain?

Looked back into June, there’s not a listed time for getting the Speed Reading book? It just shows up here, early in the month.

I wish I had read the comments sooner about the Ann situation, just came out of my 1M mementos grind and hit the 30/7 date and she has not enough points for rank 10.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but carrying arcana for yoshida and mishima shouldn’t be needed. In the original, they level up everytime you spend time with them regardless. I know they changed it for akechi, but those 2 should be the same. Which should also mean that affinity readings for mishimia are unnecessary. But again, correct me if I’m wrong with the royal version.

On 7/6 it didnt rank up guts

I don’t understand what happened, because I’ve been following this guide precisely, but Kawakami didn’t rank up from 4 > 5 the first time. As a result I am now one rank behind on her and the entire guide is out of whack for me. It’s not too big of a deal as I plan to play through multiple times, but still.

Regarding Mementos – if I don’t grind up to 1,000,000 and leave with about 500,000 will that be fine for now? Will just buy the SP Adhesives later.

Same, Ann isn’t at Rank 10. Is this because I went the Friendship route?

According to other comments the guide followed romance dialogues for takemi and Ann and thats how it reached level 10. I guess we will need to adapt. I am sticking with Kasumi no matter what 🙂

Am I doing this wrong? Because 8/2 Ann still does not have enough points to level up to 10. I am sure I have done everything right until now

So if you want rank 10 you have to go for romance?

Did not get Ann to Rank 10 Either. I’m pretty sure I followed everything correctly till now regarding her confidant. Mistake in the planning?

I’ve now played upto July on two playthroughs because of the Ann confident issue and it turns out that Romancing her is what gets her to Rank 10. So if you aren’t planning to romance her this is not the guide for you.

7/30 – No rank 10 with Ann. +2 Lovers is lacking for it to become “i feel like my bond with Ann will strengthen soon.”

Yeah me too.

unfortunately you can’t do *all* the infiltration tools on 7/25, because you need 20xAluminum Sheet and 10xLiquid Mercury for the Perma-Pick, and those are definitely materials you don’t have if you’ve been following this guide

At what point do we go and take care of Mementos?

PSA: Made changes on 7/30 as of 04/02/2020

7/30 Changed from Chariot Ogikubo hangout to Lovers Rank 10 8/1 Changed from Chariot Rank 9 to Chariot Ogikubo hangout 8/2 Changed Lovers Rank 10 to Chariot Rank 9 8/3 No changes 8/4 No changes 8/5 Despite changes, Chariot Rank 10 is still the same

7/30 ann still rank 9 after talking to her, let me know if this is my fault or yours so I can continue

Same here, no rank 10 for me.

You changed nothing don’t lie.

My Proficiency didn’t increase to 4 on 7/6 but on the second viewing of Jail Brake on 7/10. Not sure if this was a mistake or a screw up on my part.

HellO! Checked on 7/6 and saw no Proficiency-related boosts. Thanks!

He meant 7/8, mine also didn’t went up, 3->4, but until Finishing “Jail Break” DVD on 7/10.

also happened to mine despite doing all the reloads, does it affect the latter part of the guide?

When will this be updated?

It’s already updated. Thank you!

The Thief choice for the question on 7/12 is actually the 4th one.

Hi, thank you for the heads up, we have corrected it!

Every Dungeonborne Class, Ranked

Zenless zone zero: all current banners & next banners, elden ring dragon forms: priestess heart vs. rock heart.

Persona 5 Royal splits the protagonist's daily life into two parts: school, work, answering TV questions, and social activities in bustling Tokyo during the day and traversing the perils of dungeon crawling and saving the world at night. Each part of the day offers numerous ways to boost the stats of Joker, also known as Ren Amamiya, from answering questions correctly in the classroom , going to see movies, hanging out with friends, and doing side jobs and gigs around town. And one of the best and easiest ways to boost Joker's Knowledge stat is by answering TV quiz show questions correctly at Café Leblanc.

The Phantom Thieves' base of operations and Joker's home and workplace, Café Leblanc is a centerpiece of the protagonist's development, and many opportunities exist to give him an extra boost to his stats, including folding origami, solving crosswords, and the aforementioned quiz show. The TV quiz show is available every Thursday and doesn't have a story-related event attached to it, meaning when Joker can freely explore on Thursdays, the quiz show is watchable. When Joker gets the correct answer, he gains +1 to his Knowledge stat. The Knowledge stat directly affects Joker's classroom performance as well as gives access to create Confidants in Persona 5 Royal in Makoto and Hifumi. While the quiz show is a quick and easy way to boost Knowledge, its schedule is irregular, so it's important to remember to play the mini-game at every opportunity. Here are the answers for each quiz and the days the show airs.

TV quizzes appear only on Thursdays in Café Leblanc and players should not avoid solving them as it can benefit their overall Knowledge stat. Players can simply walk over to the television next to the bar and interact with it to get started.

Unlike Persona 5 Royal' s Crossword puzzles , the TV quiz does not forward time, meaning players should not worry about wasting their day and avoid getting the Knowledge boost.

Joker’s screen in Persona 5 after a successful all-out attack: he smirks at the camera while adjusting his red glove

Persona 5 Royal is a gigantic JRPG where your free time is precious, as you can only do so many things in a day. Between managing friends (aka Confidants) and exploring dungeons, there’s tons of different aspects of the game to juggle.

Now that the game is getting released outside of PlayStation consoles, we’ve listed some tips below that we wish we knew before getting into the critically acclaimed JRPG.

Check the stuff around you for free stats

There are many things to do around you that will passively raise your stats without having to waste time, you just have to be on the lookout for them. Whether it’s completing a crossword left at the café or giving a plant some fertilizer, you’ll want to interact with the various things around you to make sure you’re making the most of your time.

Keep books and DVDs on you for even more stats

There are many nights where you can’t leave Leblanc, but you can still read books and watch DVDs on these nights. You should head to the DVD and bookstore in Shibuya and grab some stuff so you can gain stat points even when you can’t leave the café.

All Confidants are useful, not just your party members

While it might be tempting to ignore some of the non-Phantom Thief characters, you should rank up as many people as you can, as they’ll give you useful abilities.

For example, shogi player Hifumi Togo gives you the ability to swap out your party members mid-battle, teacher Sadayo Kawakami allows you to read books during class, and doctor Tae Takemi will give you access to special medicine items.

A black, white, and red UI showing Joker’s relationship with the doctor, Tae Takemi

For the true ending, make sure to focus on these three characters

You need to make sure to reach certain Confidant ranks with three specific characters by specific dates in order to get to the game’s “true ending,” which is the most complete version. Make sure to spend time with Takuto Maruki (Councillor), Goro Akechi (Justice), and Kasumi Yoshizawa (Faith) by mid-November.

Diversify your personas and don’t be afraid to fuse them

You should have enough Personas to cover a variety of different elements, especially ones that your party members do not have. Since you can swap your Persona once per turn, you can exploit enemy weaknesses easily.

That being said, you should also be fusing your Personas as you level up rather than using the same ones forever. Once a Persona has no more new skills to learn, that’s typically a sign that you should fuse it into a stronger one.

Don’t forget to register your personas after leveling them

All the Personas you collect are automatically added to a compendium where you can re-summon them for a fee. However, the compendium won’t retroactively keep up with your leveling, so if you want to get rid of a Persona that you’ve been using and resummon it later, you should register it to the compendium in the Velvet Room first. It doesn’t cost anything to register, so you should make a habit of doing this before you ditch or fuse your Personas.

A red, black, and white UI menu in the very blue Velvet Room, prompting the player to Register Personas

Make the most of your time in palaces and Mementos

Once you leave a palace or Mementos, you can’t do anything else for the rest of the night (unless you max out Kawakami’s Confidant rank). To avoid wasting a day, make sure not to enter either of these places until you’re fully ready to explore. This means that you have your Mementos requests in order, healing items stocked up, and whatever else you may need before fighting a ton of bad guys, as you shouldn’t leave until you’re completely done.

Keep your eyes out for special weather conditions

Weather affects many things in game, such as stat gains, things you can buy from shops, and shadows in Mementos. Rainy nights will allow you to get more charm from the bathhouse or knowledge from studying in Leblanc or the diner.

Special weather conditions are great for Mementos, as certain weather types will debuff shadows. For example, if there’s a “pollen warning,” then shadows in Mementos will be more lethargic and tired.

Don’t stress about completing everything

There is technically time to do everything, but you’ll need to follow a pretty rigorous and perfected schedule in order to do so. Doing this can be a slog, so if this is your first playthrough of Persona 5 (in any form), we recommend doing what you want and taking it at your own pace.

Persona 5 Royal is one of the biggest JRPGs to hit the Xbox platform in recent times. This game features a lengthy and unorthodox gameplay loop of balancing the double life of a Phantom Thief stealing the selfish desires of criminals and that of an ordinary high-school student. As such, it is easy for new players unfamiliar with the Persona series to be confused about how to approach this unconventional gameplay structure and make tons of mistakes.

Fortunately, we have you covered as we have prepared a list of rookie mistakes to help you avoid when starting Persona 5 Royal for the first time.

Persona 5 Royal mistakes to avoid: Don’t neglect these Confidants

Persona 5 Royal

One of the main goals of Persona 5 Royal is to establish connections with party members and NPCs scattered throughout the city of Tokyo so they can become your Confidants. Confidants offer interesting side stories and grant various passive bonuses to help the player overcome the game’s many challenges.

However, there are three Confidants you must prioritize above all others; Goro Akechi (Justice Arcana), Kasumi Yoshizawa (Faith Arcana), and Dr. Takuto Maruki (Councillor Arcana). Maxing out these Confidants will unlock the “Royal” portion of Persona 5 Royal, which includes new storylines, dungeons, and bosses not found in the original, vanilla version of Persona 5.

Without getting into important major spoiler details, these Confidants become critical players in the new storylines mentioned above. If you don’t max out your Confidant Rankings with them before specific deadlines, you will get the default endings from the vanilla version of Persona 5 and lose access to the “Royal” content.

The deadlines and Confidant rankings you must meet are as follows:

  • Achieve Rank 9 with the Councillor Arcana before Nov. 18.
  • Achieve Rank 5 with the Faith Arcana before Dec. 18.
  • Achieve Rank 8 with the Justice Arcana Rank 8 before Nov. 24.

You can speed up the process by equipping Personas related to the Confidants’ Arcanas so you can gain extra relationship points when interacting with them. That way, you will be able to complete these Confidants early and have extra time to spare to work on your other Confidants.

Persona 5 Royal mistakes to avoid: Save time with these Confidants.

Persona 5 Royal

While we’re on the topic of obtaining Confidants, here are some that, while optional, can be a great asset in time management in Persona 5. Forming a bond with Sadayo Kawami, (Temperance Arcana), will allow you to call upon her services during the night after school. She can brew coffee or cook curry items to help you recover SP during dungeon excursions and will sometimes let you skip a lesson during a class so you can read books, study, or craft infiltration tools.

If you max out your bond levels with her, Sadayo will offer to massage your back after you come home from exploring a Palace or Mementos. Normally after returning from infiltrating a Palace or Mementos, your character will become too exhausted to perform night-time activities. However, with Sadayo’s massage service, you will be to recover and gain extra time to complete extra tasks during the night like finding night-time-exclusive Confidants or leveling up your social stats.

Persona 5 Royal

Another Confidant that can help you save time is Chihaya Mifune (Fortune Arcana). Acquiring her fortune-telling services is a long process but will be worthwhile in the long run.

Chihaya’s Confidant has all sorts of useful skills like earning extra money in battle or temporarily increasing the growth rate of one of your Social Stats. But her most useful abilities are granting free extra relationship points with any Confidant of your choosing and predicting which dialogue options give the most relationship points when interacting with Confidants.

Chihaya Mifune’s power, when used efficiently, will let you strengthen your bonds with Confidants faster, and leave you with spare time for other activities. If used in conjunction with the Sadayo’s max-level Confidant abilities that let you go out during the night after a dungeon crawl, you can potentially acquire and achieve the maximum friendship rankings with every Confidant in Persona 5, in a single playthrough.

Persona 5 Royal mistakes to avoid: Don’t neglect your Social Stats

Persona 5 Royal

As you progress through the game, you will discover that befriending Confidants is harder than looks. Some of them require you to build up your main character’s (Joker) Social Stats to interact with them, or so they trust you enough to let you in on personal affairs. So in between dungeon crawling, it is best to find time to level up your Social Stats by visiting facilities, working part-time jobs, spending time with Confidants, and doing all sorts of activities like watching films at the movie theatre or purchasing and playing videogames at home.

Here are some examples of how you can level up specific social stats:

  • Studying at Café Leblanc, Bikkuri Boy Diner, or Shujin Academy library.
  • Answering questions correctly during class.
  • Solving crossword puzzles at Café Leblanc.
  • Taking on the Big Bang Burger Challenge at Shibuya’s Big Bang Burger fast food restaurant.
  • Visiting Tae Takemi (Death Arcana Confident) for a clinical trial.
  • Studying in the Shujin Academy library while students are there, talking behind your back.
  • Going to bed early and having a random chance to experience nightmares.
  • Nurturing your houseplant in the attic of Café Leblanc with plant nutrients.
  • Spending time with Sojiro Sakura (Hierophant Arcana Confidant) or Shinya Oda (Tower Arcana Confidant).
  • Working a part-time job at the Rafflesia flower shop in the Shibuya Underground Mall. You can sign up for it and other part-time jobs by reading job magazines found in the Shibuya Underground Walkway.

Proficiency

  • Crafting infiltration tools in the attic of Café Leblanc.
  • Playing baseball at the Yongen-Jaya batting cages.
  • Fishing at Ichigaya, a location that is unlocked by reading Fishpond Spotter or being invited by Ryuji (Chariot Arcana) to visit it on July 6.
  • Brewing coffee at Café Leblanc after unlocking Sojiro Sakura (Hierophant Arcana) as a Confidant.
  • Taking a bath at the Yongen-Jaya bathhouse at night.
  • Spending time with Ichiko Ohya (Devil Arcana Confidant) or Toranosuke Yoshida (Sun Arcana Confidant).

Persona 5 Royal

Purchasing and reading books from shops in Shibuya will also help you level up your Social Stats. You can sometimes read them while riding the train on the way to school, or you can read them manually by sitting on a stool next to the yellow telephone in Café Leblanc. On a side note, if you read the "Speed Reader" book found in the Shujin Academy Library, your reading speed will increase and save you precious time reading the larger textbooks.

Persona 5 Royal mistakes to avoid: Don’t forgot to explore the city.

Persona 5 Royal

Finding Confidants and improving your Social Stats aren't the only reason to explore Tokyo. There are dozens of shops and vending machines where you can purchase healing items to help you in combat and recreational facilities where you can upgrade combat gameplay mechanics.

For example, there's the Sniper Penguin Club found in Kichijoji. You can invite party members here to play a darts mini-game with them to upgrade their Baton Pass Ranking, increasing their stats when you perform a Baton Pass with them during battle.

Persona 5 Royal

You can also play Billiards in the Sniper Penguin Club to gain points towards a random Social Stat and increase the damage you deal when landing a Technical hit. However, if you purchase the "Jump Cue" item, read the "Expert Billiards" and "Billiards Magician" books found in Underground Mall Sports Store and reach high enough Proficiency Social Stat levels. You can upgrade the Technical mechanic even further the next time you play Billiards.

Persona 5 Royal

Do note that while areas in Tokyo are unlocked naturally as the story progresses, some can be unlocked early through reading magazines or through socializing with your Confidants. For example, the Jinbocho bookstore can be unlocked by reading the "Musty Pages" magazine found in the Taiheido bookstore, reaching Confidant Rank 4 with Hifumi Togo (Star Arcana), or through an invitation by Makoto Niijima (Priestess Arcana) on Aug. 15.

Reading all the books available in this shop will unlock new ways to trigger Technical hits during combat, which can prove useful during certain boss fights and random encounters.

Persona 5 Royal mistakes to avoid: Don’t forget to visit Mementos

Persona 5 Royal

In addition to infiltrating the Palaces of the Metaverse, you will also be tasked with exploring Mementos. This is a constantly-evolving dungeon where the layout of each floor is randomly generated and is filled with dozens of enemy Shadows. This place can be used as a training ground to strengthen your party’s Personas, earn items and loot to sell, and acquire new Personas for Joker.

As you progress in the game, new areas of Mementos become available after clearing Palaces. It is advised that you take the time to explore these areas once they’re unlocked and locate the fast-travel checkpoints for them. This will make future treks into Mementos go faster, especially when completing side-quests that require you to hunt mini-boss Shadows lurking within its depths.

Persona 5 Royal

When exploring Mementos, make you collect the flowers and stamps scattered through the tunnels. These are Mementos-only currencies that can be redeemed by talking to Jose, a mysterious child exploring Mementos. You trade the flowers for powerful consumables and items, and trading in stamps will allow you to alter aspects of Mementos so that enemies give more EXP, money, or items upon defeat.

Persona 5 Royal mistakes to avoid: Don’t be afraid to fight dirty

Persona 5 Royal

To defeat the evil Shadows of Persona 5 Royal and steal their twisted desires, you must be prepared to fight dirty as much as possible. This includes constantly exploiting their elemental or physical weaknesses to knock them down and trigger the Baton Pass mechanic to give your party extra attacks or the All-Out Attack to beat them all down at once.

If you encounter an enemy with no weaknesses, use status effects to debilitate them and leave them open for a Technical hit. Technical hits allow you to knock an enemy down and deal extra damage by hitting them with attacks that synergize with status effects.

Persona 5 Royal

For example, if you attack an enemy with a Psychonesis spell while they suffer from the Confusion status ailment, it will knock them down, even if they aren’t weak against Psychonesis-type attacks. So, if you had been upgrading the Technical mechanic through Billiards and reading books, you will unlock more attack+status ailment combinations to trigger Technical hits.

Another tip in mind is to keep your enemies weak by using debuff spells and items to lower their combat prowess while maintaining stat-boosting buffs for your team. This will help improve your survival rate when tackling the more challenging bosses of the game when they pull party-wide attacks or cheap shots. If bosses decide to remove their debuffs and your team’s buffs, it is still beneficial as they will waste turns trying to get rid of the debuff, giving you time to recover and attack.

Persona 5 Royal mistakes to avoid: Don't forget to register Personas before fusion

Persona 5 Royal

When fusing and summoning new Personas in the Velvet Room, make sure to register your currently held Personas in the Compendium before doing so. Registering Personas will record all the levels and skills they have obtained while they under your care.

This means that if you want to summon them again through the Compendium, they will retain all their recorded stats. This ensures that you don’t have to waste time leveling them back up again to be on par with the rest of your Personas’ power levels.

Persona 5 Royal mistakes to avoid: Do not use the DLC Personas early on

Persona 5 Royal

When summoning Personas within the Compendium, you may notice that there are extremely high-level Personas in the list that you can summon with no level restrictions or money costs. Most of these Personas were originally from previous games sold as DLC for Persona 5, but have been bundled together for the "Royal" edition.

While it may be tempting to summon Personas from past games immediately, I recommend holding off until later. Not only will you be trivializing the early game’s challenge, but you will miss out on the opportunity to create stronger versions of these DLC Personas by fusing into them naturally. As natural fusions will allow you to give these DLC Personas EXP boosts thanks to leveling up their associated Confidant Ranking and new passive and active abilities.

Persona 5 Royal mistakes to avoid: Don’t forget to stockpile on infiltration tools

Persona 5 Royal

Before you start infiltrating Palaces, it is best to stock up on healing items and equipping your party with up-to-date gear beforehand. You can also craft infiltration tools at home like lockpicks to open locked chests, smokebombs to escape battles, or elemental attack items.

Elemental attack items can be useful in a pinch despite their weak attack power. They can trigger an enemy’s weakness, allowing you to Baton Pass to a different party member capable of dealing more efficient damage or granting the team an emergency heal.

Persona 5 Royal mistakes to avoid: Don’t forget to collect Will Seeds

Persona 5 Royal

While infiltrating and looting Palaces, make sure to be on the lookout for the skull-shaped items called Will Seeds. Each Palace has a set of three Will Seeds locked behind ornate doors guarded by puzzles, obstacles, or a unique mini-boss Shadow. If you collect a complete set, they will combine into crystal accessories that can offer helpful passive traits in combat.

Persona 5 Royal

When visiting Memento, if you give the crystal accessories to Jose in Mementos, he will upgrade them into ring accessories. Not only do they retain their original passive trait, but they will allow party members to cast powerful support spells.

If you somehow missed grabbing Will Seeds before clearing a Palace for good, Jose will offer you spare ones to purchase, albeit at a steep price of 400 flowers per Seed. So, if you want to avoid paying that amount, you must grab all of a Palace’s Will Seeds before sending the Calling Card to the Palace’s Ruler.

Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Statement Fails To Say The Only Thing It Needed To

Fallout london is out now on steam and gog, we need another handheld console like the playstation vita.

Persona 5 Royal came out relatively quickly after the original Persona 5 leading to tons of questions from fans. In that sense, it has more in common with the enhanced Persona 3 version 'FES' than the four-year-wait for Persona 4 Golden.

RELATED: Things About Persona 5 You Need To Know Before Starting Strikers

Persona 5 Royal didn’t have nearly as much time as P4G, but it has so many fundamental differences that make it feel just as significant an upgrade as these other releases. Countless pieces of brand-new content raise the quality of this already great game, as well as some upgrades to the mechanics and enemies that make it feel surprisingly fresh.

Updated on August 1, 2023 by Quinton O'Connor: With the recent PS5, Xbox, and PC launches of Persona 5 Royal, even more people are learning firsthand what the big deal is with this critically acclaimed game. We've included additional details on what to expect if you should happen to be playing Royal years after the original version's release.

10 Kasumi Joins The Phantom Thieves

Perhaps the clearest and most significant addition to this game is Kasumi Yoshizawa -- a new character introduced to the Phantom Thieves with her own Persona and Social Link adventure to learn her backstory. On a mechanical level, this gives you more options for team buildouts and many Bless abilities for a great new range of attacks.

On a story level, Kasumi primarily complements the game’s previous story rather than adding something new. These kinds of character additions can often try to be more significant such as Persona 4 Golden’s Marie. But, for the most part, it’s something you won’t miss too much if you aren’t especially interested.

9 Velvet Room Challenge Fights

Another primary addition to the game is its inclusion of Velvet Room Challenge Battles, plenty of which are available normally, whilst others are unlocked via DLC. Some of the DLC fights even revolve around characters from past Persona titles. If you're picking up Persona 5 Royal for PS5, Xbox Series, or PC, however, you've got free access to all these spiffy extra fights.

This is a spectacular addition -- particularly for hardcore players wishing to try something a little more difficult. There are plenty of item and experience awards for completing these difficult fights. Most important is the story you can tell of making your character strong enough to take on such intimidating foes.

8 The Thieves Den

Another cool source of new stuff is a huge chunk of secret unlockables through the Thieves Den. This addition involves a hideout for you and the Phantom Thieves to hang out and chat. This can be fun to hang around in, but completing challenges and interacting with them will unlock behind-the-scenes content like concept art and music.

This is a fairly small thing in the grand scheme, but the Thieves Den is still a lot of fun to hang out in just for the extra dialogue. Nonetheless, having these collectibles means that you’re able to fill out more bubbles as a completionist, giving you even more to do than the original Persona 5.

7 The Kichijoji Jazz Club

There’s another new hangout for you to visit in Kichijoji in the form of a jazz club, and it has a lot more to do in terms of building your character. This space is an area to hang out with certain social links , play games to raise your stats, and even drink a daily cocktail to raise your party member’s combat stats.

This is a fun place to go, but being able to modify your team on such a fundamental level is a huge boost for those who want to play in a very particular or unusual way. Even if you don’t like doing many side activities, the jazz club's still fun if you have some spare money and time.

6 New Battle Themes

Though we've covered most of the new content, most of the significant changes to the game have to do with altered mechanics and effects. These are most easily seen in the updated headshots for dialogue, but even more significant is a new standard battle theme that plays during combat.

RELATED: Ranking Persona 5: Royal's Palace Rulers By How Despicable They Are

This is an extremely refreshing and necessary change for anyone playing for the second time. Listening to the first part of the same song for so many hours gets repetitive in a single playthrough after all. The quality of these updated themes could be debated compared to the original fight song, but it spices things up well.

5 Morgana Takes A Backseat

While this might seem small, one of the greatest changes in Persona 5 Royal has to do with how often Morgana will talk to you in the game. The original game was the victim of several memes due to Morgana telling you to go to bed, regardless of all the things you could potentially do at night.

Thankfully, this game includes far less of that due, in part, to new events like the previously mentioned jazz club giving you activities to do in evening hours. This also makes Morgana far less irritating to have beside you at all times which makes the social parts of the game way more tolerable.

4 Mementos Stamps

There’s another gameplay addition that ends up feeling more like a tweak but makes it a much more significant quality of life improvement. Mementos can be a chore to drive around and fight in and, besides finishing certain social link events, it feels almost pointless to regularly visit and grind in compared to palaces.

The introduction of Stamps makes it more bearable as they give you gameplay buffs that make the random mobs feel more rewarding and go by much quicker. This was not the strongest aspect of the original game but now feels much more worthwhile to go through for side quests and experience points.

3 Free Grappling Hook

Exploring the palaces already leads you to tons of secrets and hidden pathways. Somehow, Persona 5 Royal lets you explore even further with new hidden areas to jump across for treasures and mobs. Rather than jumping or using events, you literally are given a grappling hook early in the game to let you access hidden points around the map.

RELATED: Persona 5: The Best Accessories, Ranked

This is especially generous for the later parts of the game when you’ve already become fed up with exploring dungeons and would rather hunt for secrets quickly than spend forever digging around various floors for random chests at the end of a maze. It’s small, but a great way to find extra satisfying secrets and items to help you along the way.

2 Tweaked Shadow Madarame Fight

The last major difference between Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal is its palace boss fights as many of the worst fights have been given a totally new life in the remake. The first of these, Shadow Madarame, wasn’t an inherently bad fight to begin with. But it feels pretty quick when you figure out the strategy of using certain move types to hit each painting.

Persona 5 Royal mixes it up by having Madarame take one additional form creating clones of himself that each attack with a different elemental attack. This extra stage makes it far more dynamic -- especially after the first Palace Boss with its titanic size and special attack to help weaken it.

1 Improved Shadow Sae Fight

The fight against Madarame was made more fun in Persona 5 Royal, but the one against Sae went from being abysmal to one of the most interesting in the game. Despite being in a casino and having a heavy gambling theme, there’s very little chance used in the original game. The roulette has a small number of outcomes and is dealt with quite quickly.

In the new version of the game, Sae uses the roulette to determine her attacks which leads to more elemental moves and a greater variance on what you’ll deal with. This makes it feel like a climactic showdown against someone who truly feels like the master of her domain rather than a simple boss fight to continue the story.
