Guide to make the most out of your time in Safari World Thailand

Zoo open safari park.

The main entrance of Safari is the huge park area and open zoo. Home to hundreds of animals from around the world in their natural environment (with over 75 species of mammals, 300 species of birds from Africa and Asia, and endemic animals all over the world) world). Here you can watch or participate in feeding activity, which usually takes place around 10am, so you should choose to visit Safari Park first.

Because Safari Park is very large, you will need to hire a bus service (30 baht per person) with a park guide to visit. You can order this service at the information desk (right next to the ticketing area)

It takes about 45 minutes (maybe a little faster or slower) so we recommend going in the morning to be cool, sunny, easy to take photos and convenient to watch some afternoon shows. The small part is about 9:30 – 10:00, there is also a show of feeding tigers. If you hurry, you can watch this screen.

Marine Park

Marine Park is a particular area suitable for young children, including diverse entertainment shows, zoos spanning the Jungle Walk area with a variety of animals with diverse habitats. The park has 7 daily entertainment shows, most of which take place in the afternoon, so it will be very convenient if you choose to visit Marine Park in the afternoon to be able to enjoy as many shows as possible.

Dolphin Show – 13:45 Every day

Next destination is the dolphin show, Safari World’s second best-performing show. You should go here early (about 13:45 is the show starts) to find yourself a nice seat. The dolphin show is also quite magnificent with extremely intelligent actors from the ocean. You will see them dance, spin in the air, jump around and … splashing water everywhere. Whether it’s a couple, family, or alone, this show is definitely worth watching.

Similar to Ourang Utan, you will also be “touched” and photographed with dolphins after the show. Provided that you are patient enough to wait for your turn and spend around 400-500 baht to take pictures (almost equal to that fare ?). We recommend that you only take photos of the show.

Spy war: 14:30 every day

This is a unique performance and the best performing show in Safari World Bangkok. Do not be surprised if you are late and have all seats (because everyone is rushing here). Yoy should come here at least 15 minutes before the show.

Designed just like a Hollywood spy movie, you are spoiled for action. From canoe racing, shooting, explosions and heart-pounding screens. Along with that sound, light and true taste, ensuring better than 4-5D film.

The most important thing when coming here is to choose your seat carefully, carefully look at the instructions to see if the location can be wet or not. In our opinion, the top 6 are the easiest to get wet (if you do not have a change of clothes or do not want to wet your phone, you should avoid the first few rows). In addition, heat and explosions are also a consideration, especially when traveling with young children.

Bird show: 10:20 – 15:30

The last show of the day at Safari was Bird show. As the stage of the park’s most colorful representatives, you can watch parrots (just like in Rio) show off their biking and acting. Or dances of splendid peacocks. We strongly encourage you to watch this show if you are traveling with children, but if you are traveling with a group of adults, a few minutes of watching it is worth it.

Lunch Buffet at Safari World Bangkok

You have two options when buying Safari World Bangkok tickets. One is the ticket with lunch buffet always with an international menu; two is to take care of lunch. However, you should remember that water and food cannot be brought into the Safari park, but the food in this park area is quite expensive. You should prepare some baht for reasonable spending. In some restaurants, there is a buffet serving from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.

The buffet restaurant is located in Marine World. To go to the restaurant you can look on the map and follow the signs and remember to take the number of tables to sit. Note that the time should come here because Safari World Bangkok is very crowded but the restaurant to stop serving at 2 pm. The quality of food is not the best, so you should not expect too much.

How to get to Safari World Bangkok

Safari World is located quite far from the center of Bangkok (40 km), is not close to the subway or sky train, getting to the park may be confusing for those who are not familiar with the road. The solution is that you can choose tours to Bangkok Safari with shuttle always, so you will be picked up from your hotel. The price of this tour when buying on the spot is about 2200 baht, equivalent to 56$. One small tip is that you buy it here with only $36.

Safari World Bangkok Review : Why you may REGRET for GOING

Feature page for Safari World Bangkok Review

Safari World Bangkok is one of the most recommended attractions for a day tour. BUT you should check out our full review to avoid a REGRETTABLE experience!

Disclaimer ahead, I have been to Safari World Bangkok as part of my wider Bangkok itinerary . I noted that most of the online agency companies have day tour packages for Bangkok Safari World including buffet and transportation. I also booked my visit via Klook for a day.

So did I regret joining?

Well, no or yes. No for the fact that the price for the tour is reasonable and there are a lot of positive experiences in the Safari. Yes for the fact that there are parts of the attractions associated with potential animal cruelty, especially the “Orangutan Show”.

While the reviews on TripAdvisor could also be mixed, some giving 5 stars while some giving 1 star. Thus, I am writing this Safari World Bangkok blog post to provide the facts and considerations points for your decision.

Table of Contents

What is Safari World Bangkok?

Founded in 1988, the Safari World Bangkok is the largest open zoo in Bangkok. It is also the first and only entertainment park listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET).

It has two major parks the Safari Park and the Marine Park. The safari section is over 400 acres containing hundreds of species including gemsboks, hippos, ostriches, lions, tigers, giraffes, etc. It is a drive-thru session for around 40 minutes.

The safari drive-thru session, Safari Park Safari World Bangkok

The Marine Park has multiple animal exhibits such as crocodiles, cheetahs, lemurs, rodents, and llamas. Other than that there is also a notable exhibition center of the session called Egg Island where it displays eggs of various bird species.

Other than that, Marine Park also has multiple animal shows each day for visitors. This is the part we need to evaluate before going. I will cover more in the later session.

Bangkok Safari World Map

Bangkok Safari World Map

The above map shows the attractions at both Safari Park and Marine Park. On top of that, it also contains the coach timetable for the Safari Park and the icons of animals along the route.

Safari World and Marine Park Bangkok ticket price

The admission tickets for both Safari Park and Marine Park are available on the official site .  Other than that, it is also available for purchase. It costs 1,000 THB (~ 27.7 USD) for Safari Park admission and 1,300 THB (~ 36 USD) for Marine Park admission respectively for adults. The combo would be THB 1,500 (~ 41.6 USD).  The price does not include the 100 THB for coach service at Safari Park if you are not driving or taking any local tour.

If you decide to go for the safari. You shall buy the combo ticket for savings. Besides, buying the package from an online travel agency like Klook is in general cheaper.

Additionally, the tour operators are good at time management, helping you to avoid traffic in Bangkok while ensuring sufficient time for the visit.

Safari World Bangkok Full Review

There are three main parts to the experience in Safari World Bangkok, namely the Safari Park, Marine Park attractions, and Marine Park animal shows.

I will provide a review for each of the three parts in chronicle order.

1. Safari World Bangkok Review: Safari Park

Driving route of Safari Park

The local operators usually arrange the safari park in the morning around 9 am (the earliest drive is at 9:30 am if you are going there on your own). Starting from the entrance you will see different animals from Asia and Africa including zebras, camels, ostriches, and different kinds of deer such as sambar deer, Indian hog deer, Fallow deer, and gemsbok. Other than that you will also encounter various kinds of large free-flying water birds. Interestingly, those birds even build large nests on trees (I wonder how they do that). You will also see rhinos and giraffes in this area.

Notice board for animal names in the area

Around 15 minutes, you will enter the carnivores areas. Here you will see different kinds of carnivores including tigers, lions, and bears.

The Lion session

Despite the name of “Safari”, the experience is more like a large open zoo than a real safari. Although the park gathered a large variety of animals, it would not give you a safari experience like Africa. For some elementary safari experience, feel free to check out my other blog post for game reserve in Cape Town.

However, based on the price and experience (1,100 THB ~ 30 USD for standard pricing with no discount), it is quite a good value option. The animals look fine in the areas and you can even see the bears chilling and sleeping.

2. Safari World Bangkok Review: Marine Park attractions

The map for marine park

From the marine park map, you can easily locate each of the animal exhibits, attractions, restaurants, and animal shows. We will leave the animal shows in the next part.

Animal location & feeding

For the animal exhibit and attractions, you can encounter different animals from birds like flamingoes and Indian hornbill, mammals like kangaroos, llamas, camels, lemurs, and meerkats, and marine animals like hippos, sea lions, and spurred tortoises.

So again the name “marine” is a bit misleading. Apart from just watching, there are several animals you can feed with extra cost such as camels, kangaroos, sun conures, etc. Amongst them, the Treehouse where you can buy a cone to feed (100 THB (~3 USD) ) hundreds of free-flying sun conures are very popular for kids and families.

The pinky flamingoes in marine park

Other than that there is an indoor exhibition called Egg World near the elephant show. It is an egg incubation center for different kinds of birds. From there you can even witness the hatching of birds at different stages. Remember do not take photos with flash inside.

Baby birds in the Egg World

The best giraffe encouter experience

Lastly, the best part of the whole safari world in Bangkok is the “Giraffe Terrace”.  This is the area where you can feed the giraffes on a spacious terrace. Even if you are not paying to feed, you can also sit on the bench of the terrace being around with the giraffes at a close distance.

There are over 20 giraffes in the area and this is probably the most (and the closest) giraffe experience you can have in the world.

You can take photos with the giraffe without feeding

3. Safari World Bangkok Review: Marine Park animal shows – it would make you REGRET

Animal shows have been the main gimmicks of Safari World. 7 shows are running daily in the park according to the schedule. The 5 animal shows include Orangutan boxing, elephant, dolphin, sea lion, and bird show, and the remaining two (cowboy stunt and spy war) are non-animal shows.

Safari World Bangkok show schedule

While the two non-animal shows are okay, you may find the animal shows disguising. I love animals. I love seeing them in the wild as part of the nature. While, I am not absolutely opposed to animal zoos, as long as animals are being treated right with good living conditions and fed right, it is still acceptable.

Of course, people have different standards. Whether it is deemed ethical or not, you shall use your own discretion. All I want to do is to give you the right expectations before you go.

Orangutan boxing show

Although it is the most featured and first show in the Safari, it is also the most controversial one. If you search online with the keyword “animal cruelty Bangkok Safari World”, you can find several news against the boxing show. The latest one includes Halle Bailey (Ariel in The Little Mermaid 2023) being slammed for going there .

The Orangutan Boxing shows it is a comedy show with around 8 to 10 Orangutans. Other than boxing each other, the orangutans have to perform entertainment such as dancing in bikinis, trash throwing, or playing instruments. Due to the comedy nature, the whole show contains a lot of dirty jokes.

On the other hand, the introduction from the official website below seems to be very encouraging. Although it says suitable for visitors of any age, I doubt if you would like to see your children enjoying the show.

The Orangutan Show at Safari World Thailand is a captivating and entertaining experience that offers visitors a chance to get fascinated by the intelligence and humor of these amazing primates. The show exhibits highly trained orangutans portraying their incredible abilities, such as painting, dancing, and even playing basketball. The orangutans’ playful and mischievous behavior is sure to captivate visitors of all ages and their intelligence and problem-solving skills add valuable insights about their behavior and characteristics.

Extracted from official website of Safari World Bangkok

This show makes me feel sick and pretty depressed for the rest of the day. You have no idea about the process of training the orangutans. It seems that the safari has never been disclosed.  I found another blog post featuring the details (or nightmare) of the show . You shall take a look before your trip to the Safari World.

The orangutan boxing show, Marine Park Safari World Bangkok

Elephant show

The elephant show is “slightly better” than the Orangutan show. It has the elephants doing tricks like riding each other, kicking football, and water splashing. It does not have dirty jokes like the one in Orangutan and the elephants seem to be rewarded with bananas. However, seeing the elephants chained at ankles and the facilitators carrying a long stick with a hook at the end made me feel uncomfortable.

The elephant show, Marine Park Safari World Bangkok

Dolphin show

The dolphin show involves having the trained dolphins perform tricks like ring-jumping, fetching, and swimming with the facilitators. Just my personal opinion, this part seems to be less associated with animal cruelty. The dolphins are rewarded immediately with fish for each performance and seem to be happy.

The only parts that seem to be cruel and unreasonable are when they are asked to jump extra height and have to carry the facilitators with their noses.

The dolphin show, Marine Park Safari World Bangkok

Sea Lion Show

The sea lion show is very similar to those we would see across the world. The sea lions are rewarded with fish for each performance like picking up a ball. It seems to be pretty common compared to other attraction parks across the world.

The sealion show, Marine Park Safari World Bangkok

The bird show involves having the birds assemble an English phrase, instructing an eagle to pick up a money note from a selected tourist and carrots to “speak”. The performance seems to be pretty mild and the birds seem to be trained to reward the pain.

The bird show, Marine Park Safari World Bangkok

Where to eat in Bangkok Safari World

There are several restaurants available in the marine park at the waterside food court. They offer common Thai cuisines such as boat noodles, salad, and pork rice. Other than that, there are also food booths such as Tiger Burger selling fast food and beverages like coconuts.

The price is in general higher than flea markets in the City center but is still reasonable at around 300 THB (~ 8 USD) per cuisine.

There are also two buffet restaurants in the park namely Aviary and Savanna.

The buffet restaurants are located near the Jungle Cruise, Aviary serves an international buffet while Savanna serves an Indian buffet.  They are open at noon and end at around 2:30 PM.

Both buffets serve very basic dishes according to their themes. For example, you could expect salad, rice, fried vegetables, ice cream, noodles, and some chicken from the international buffet. And beans, curry chickens, samosas and fruits in the Indian one. It is definitely not what you would expect in a high-quality or hotel buffet.

However, it is still relatively reasonable given you only need to top-up ~ 3 / 4 USD for adding a buffet to your day tour package.

I prefer the international buffet given it offers salad, fruits, and chicken thighs forming a good nutrition balance. Plus, it is less oily compared to the Indian one and there is no naan in Savannah.

How to get to Bangkok Safari World

There are multiple ways to get to Bangkok Safari World. If you are taking t he day tour with transportation arranged , it is already handled. Besides, the local operators are very good at timing to avoid the traffic of Bangkok’s city center. The only drawback if you will need to leave the park at 4:40 PM after the bird show. However, there shall be more than enough time.

Another recommended way is to get there by Grab which would cost around 400 THB (~ 11 USD).

Estimated price for Grab from CentralWorld to Safari World Bangkok

Alternatively, you can also take public transport there. You may check out this blog post for the details . Please note that there is no railway directly going to Bangkok Safari World, so it may take a lot of your valuable annual leave time to get there.

So, Should you go there?

So after the full review on Safari World Bangkok, should you go there?

Me, if I had known all the information above, probably I would still go on the safari. After all, it is quite a different experience standing out from Bangkok compared to the shopping, wat-visit and markets. Furthermore, the giraffe experience is probably the only place you can have in the world.

However, I will refrain from going to the animal shows or at the very least not the Orangutan boxing show and Elephant show. I would say the animal shows could make you regret going.

I hope you can make a well-informed decision and wish you a wonderful journey in Thailand.

Please leave me a comment with your inquiry or your personal experience!

Safari World Bangkok is an affordable destination for tourists and families within the country who love to visit on holidays and weekends. If you’re not a regular tourist, make sure to plan your trip here on a weekday when the crowds will mostly be at work or busy with their everyday lives.

Things To Do at Safari World Bangkok:

It is at the entrance of Bangkok Safari World where the fun begins. There is an abundance of excitement at the entrance area, which is a great place to buy tickets, get an overview of the park, and plan your day’s itinerary. Visitors from around the world await their safari adventure eagerly in this lively atmosphere. You can explore Safari Park and Marine Park right away once you have your Safari World tickets and map.

1. Visit Safari Park’s Animals:

Safari World is Thailand’s biggest zoo for a reason. Their Safari Park houses hundreds of exotic animals, such as giraffes, zebras, antelopes, lions, tigers, and many more. To get through the 8km long Safari Park takes around 45 minutes, though you’ll surely want to stay longer than that. Nevertheless, there are plenty of opportunities to admire the animals and capture their memories. For the truly fortunate ones, some animals might even visit you by coming right up to your vehicle.

2. Visit Marine Life At Marine Park:

After the Safari Park , head over to the splendid Marine Park , which is without exaggeration a world apart. You’ll find several animal shows that allow you to get up close and personal with the animals. It is best to visit this area in the middle of the day when the sun is at its zenith. This is because the place is bathed in golden light. You can spend a couple of hours here, relaxing in the cool shade while enjoying the animals’ shenanigans. After you’ve cooled down, you can head over to Egg Island , where you’ll find eggs of different aviary species kept for viewing.

3. Make Time For A Jungle Walk:

This will be one experience that the average person will never be able to repeat. Safari World gives you the once in a lifetime opportunity to walk down a pathway in a simulated jungle. This will allow you to meet many native animals in the wild. In fact, this jungle is so real and dense that you need to stick to the guiding signs to avoid getting lost!

4. Safari World and Marine Park Bangkok Shows:

There are multiple shows scheduled to be brought to life throughout the day. Catch a few during your time there, and you won’t regret it. The most popular are:

Spy War : Ever wanted to be part of an action scene in a movie? Ever wondered how you’d react? Here’s the closest you’ll get to fulfilling your fantasy. You’ll watch a Hollywood blockbuster unfold in front of your eyes in real-time. This show will feature gunfights, bombing, and many more surprises.

Sea Lion Show : The sea lions are the newest inhabitants of Safari World , but they’ve quickly established themselves as one of the main attractions there. Pay these lively creatures a visit and watch them mess with their trainers, play around, and literally jump through hoops.

Dolphin Show : Dolphins are among the smartest creatures to roam this Earth, and these shows display their intelligence for everyone to see. Their trainers have painstakingly prepared these animals, and now you can see them flip through the air and perform their antics. This is all at the command of the trainer.

Orangutan Show : Safari World seems to like intelligent creatures. If you’re someone who appreciates the chance to laugh, here’s where you’ll enjoy yourself most. Unlike real sports, these orangutans won’t fight, but they’ll keep you entertained throughout the show. No spoilers!

Elephant Show : You’ll be shown wrong here if you associate size with grace and mistake giant for clumsy or dumb. These gigantic, gentle animals will perform stunts as smoothly as any human, painting, dancing, playing basketball, and balancing for everyone to see.

Cowboy Stunt Show : Who needs to head all the way to the Wild West to get a taste of the life of bandits and cowboys when you can just experience all that right here? All the fights and horseplay that you’ve seen in the movies will appear right in front of your eyes. Trained stuntmen will entertain you with stunts that would be life-threatening if you’re not practiced in the art.

5. G o For A Ride On The Jungle Cruise River:

Still not feeling the excitement? Let’s crank it up a notch. This boat trip through wild forests will take you through Africa and Asia’s jungles. On this 30 minutes long cruise through the tropical forests, you’ll encounter a range of animals from crocodiles to gorillas. Like a little adrenaline rush? With this mix of a cruise and a jungle trip, you’ll get it all.

Safari-World-Bangkok-Thailand

6. Grab a bite to eat:

All that walking around will make you hungry. Although Safari World does not allow outside food, there are still some good dining options available inside the park. Safari World has two buffet restaurants, Safari and Jungle Cruise . In both of these restaurants, you’ll find world-class international and Thai cuisine. Jungle Cruise is larger than Safari in size, but that does not mean one is inferior to the other. Jungle Cruise seats 1700 people, while Safari seats 800.

Safari World Bangkok Ticket Costs:

Considering the amount of effort goes into maintaining such an outstanding site, the ticket cost range for visits is economical to keep, but be sure to buy the tickets online, as buying tickets on the spot might take anywhere from 40 minutes to an hour plus expensive.

How do you get to Safari World Bangkok?

Since Safari World is built a bit outside Bangkok, getting there may seem like a royal pain. But rest assured, there are many suitable options for everyone.

Bangkok To Safari World By Car:

This is the most expensive way to get there, but it is also the most direct. You can easily hail a cab or hire a car to drop you off at your desired location. This is the most convenient way for tourists, people unfamiliar with Bangkok practices, or people who aren’t good at navigation. If you have money to spare, take this option. A single trip to Safari World will set you back 600 to 700 Baht, depending on your starting location.

Bangkok To Safari World By Train:

You can take the BTS to Victory Monument Station , then take Exit 2 to leave the station. From there, you will need to walk 100 meters to reach Safari World .

Bangkok To Safari World By Coach Transfer:

If you’re looking to avoid sky-high taxi costs and public transport hassle, you might want to opt for a coach transfer from Bangkok. This transfer service will pick you up, drop you off at Safari World , and then drop you off back where you started.

Bangkok To Safari World By Bus:

From Wat Ratcha Nanda Ram , you will need to take the Line 503 bus to Phantom Yotin Soi 67/1 . From there, you can hail a cab to cross the remaining way. Besides this, from the Democracy Monument , you will need to board the 59 outbound bus and alight at the Satit Wat Prasri Mahathat School . Take the 554 inbound bus to Komo 8 once you’re there. The remaining distance between you and Safari World is only 8km, which can be covered in 12 minutes by taxi.

Best time to Visit Safari World Bangkok

Safari Park is mostly an open area and involves a lot of walking around if you want to truly see what it has to offer. For Safari Park, head there in the morning to avoid the sun’s heat. In the afternoon, you can visit Marine Park, a covered area. Since Bangkok itself is generally a warm place, visiting here in December and January would be the wisest decision.

Safari World Bangkok Timing

As for the timings, Safari World Bangkok is open from 9 am to 5 pm. However, some shows overlap, so know the timings of the show you want to see.

Final Note:

You can easily spend 6 to 6 hours exploring Safari World Bangkok in its entirety. If you want to see other places in Bangkok, set aside all morning and afternoon for travel and visiting this alone. Come prepared with your walking shoes and plenty of sunscreen, because both will be lifesavers for you. Although children under 100cm can enter for free, only bring children with you if you’re sure both you and they can handle the strain and the walking. If your children are old enough, this trip can be a perfect time for family bonding. However, even if you’re alone, Safari World Bangkok will ensure you have a great time!

Learn all about Safari World Bangkok for the ultimate zoo adventure!

Welcome to Safari World Bangkok , one of the largest and most well-known zoos in Thailand. One of the reasons it is so popular is because it is an open-air zoo. Animals can roam around freely out in the open area and not in confinement! This certainly takes the whole ‘going to the zoo’ experience up a notch and definitely adds a sense of adventure as if you were really out on a wildlife safari in Africa. Seeing wildlife creatures such as lions and tigers are, of course, on our to-do list but there’s so actually so much more to it than meets the eye.

1.About Safari World Bangkok

Safari park.

safari world thailand review

Safari Park , one of the two main areas in Safari World Bangkok , is where the real safari adventure begins! Stretching up to 8 km, a drive-through Safari Park in your car or coach will provide you will the rare opportunity to get up close (but not too close!) with some of the most magnificent members of the Animal Kingdom.

The whole trip across this massive park will take around 45 minutes, guiding you past many of the herbivores first such as zebras, giraffes, rhinos as well as many species of birds! Make use of this great chance to truly admire these amazing creatures and observe them in their natural habitats instead of cages.

The second part of the drive will take you into the much-awaited predator’s den. This is where you’ll get to meet the “intimidating” lions, tigers, and bears going about their daily lives just taking a nap in the shade or maybe enjoying a bath.

Nonetheless, it’s nowhere safe to provoke them for any reason at all. So, just remember to keep to the safety guidelines, such as no honking and driving slowly, to enjoy a safe but thrilling safari adventure!

Marine Park

safari world thailand review

For a more traditional zoo experience, head over to Marine Park ! Here, you’ll get more hands-on experiences and even see some of the animals in action as they perform in various shows! 4. Directions: How to Get There

Taxi / Grab

One way to get there is to take a taxi. The taxi fare will really depend on where you’re taking from and whether or not you can haggle down the prices. Nonetheless, it will cost you about 700 baht (20 USD) and double that for a round-trip. So, we recommend taking the taxi or grab to those who aren’t really on a budget and can afford to spend a few bucks more, or are traveling in big groups. Otherwise, we suggest you opt for other modes of transport.

Public Transport

If you’re a good navigator, public transport isn’t such a bad option either. Of course, it has its ups and downs but taking public transport will provide you with the opportunity to explore Bangkok up close and save you quite a few bucks on your trip!

👉 Check out our blog on How to Go to Safari World Bangkok by Public Transit for more.

Transfer Service

If you have any doubts about taking a taxi or public transport (as do some people in foreign countries), why not book a transfer service to take you there and back safely, without worrying about losing your way or getting overcharged? We offer all-inclusive packages which include a Safari World Bangkok ticket, a lunch buffet, and a round-trip transfer service at a bargain! You can even choose from two options: shared transfer service or private transfer service. Opt for a hassle-free trip to Safari World Bangkok and have all the fun you want!

Safari World is a popular destination in Bangkok and attracts a lot of families, especially during weekends and public holidays. If you're planning a trip to Bangkok and want to visit Safari World, we would recommend that you make your visit during the weekdays. The crowd will be much lesser during weekdays since the local families would not be visiting the park.

Safari World is a mostly open attraction and involves a fair bit of walking around. We would recommend heading to the Safari Park as early as possible to avoid the sun. In the afternoon you can visit the Marine World and escape the sun for a bit. Overall, though, we would suggest visiting Bangkok and Safari World in December or January for the most pleasant weather. If you're planning to attend the live shows, make sure you're aware of their timings because some shows do overlap and you'll have to pick the one you wish to see more.

If ur visiting Bangkok with kids make sure u visit Safari World. It's a full day adventure park. It has a lot of activities to do with not a moment to spare. Make sure u reach here at opening time bcoz it gets too crowded plus all d shows are at fixed timings, if u miss them it's no use going here. Our personal favourite was the dolphin show and the spy show. Don't miss them. There's also elephant, orangutan, bird and a lot many shows. There's also a huge walk by zoo. As u walk from one show to another there's a lot of animals to see. There's giraffe feeding too. All in all a day full of entertainment and fun for d kids. Many tickets include lunch too. We ate at Indian restaurant. Food was good, amazing veg choices too. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes because it gets really hot due to the crowd. U cannot carry ur own water inside, have to buy it from their stalls. Carry sunglasses too.

KhushbuMehta, Tripadvisor 2019

If you want to see different animals trained in the art of entertainment, then safari world and marine park is one to visit. Such nice animals including giraffes, elephants, walrus, seals and many more open for interacting with people. More dangerous animals available for viewing behind safe measures. Multie shows throughout the day including a boxing match between Orangutans. Definitely a good day spender.
