I enjoyed my hop on hop off experience, I found the whole system easy and enjoyable. We had 48 hour passes and used them thoroughly visited all the main sites, it was wonderful to relax and listen to the history involved for the sites seen. It was good value for money.

This is a great way to see all the main sites while you are visiting and they have 2 routes. The difference between the two busses is that the red bus has more locations and less time waiting for a bus. Be sure to purchase tickets for the aquarium, a must see and the bus will leave you right in front. Great value and service!!!!!!!

We boarded the bus at one of the less popular stops as it was near our hotel, but the stop itself was quite hard to find until you knew what to look for. We had limited time in Valencia and this was an excellent way to see the city. We didn't hop off as we wanted to do both bus routes. It told us lots of things we would never have known about and given us plenty of things to explore should we return.

Walking Route through Valencia

“Ciudad Vieja 1”: this route will take you straight to the heart of the old city of Valencia .

We start from the Plaza de la Virgen , which has been the heart of the city since ancient times. This plaza is home to the Cathedral of Valencia , the Vestuario house-  a neoclassical building that was used in ancient times by the high dignitaries of the court as a dressing room before church services, and the Basilica de Nuestra Señora de los Desamparados-  built for what was considered the patron saint of Valencia. In front of the church you can find the oldest establishment of oral justice in Europe, a declaration of cultural heritage where irrevocable judgments were issued regarding disputes about water irrigation between local farmers.

Valencia Old Town

Nearby, on Calle Almudín, you will see an archaeological dell’Almoina fence; an area of finds from all eras where excavations have reached the city of Valencia and have been converted into a unique museum that traces the times gone by of the city. Close to  dell’Almoina  is the must-see Almudín , the once old grain storehouse of Valencia.

Moving towards Calle Caballeros, passing through different buildings and decaying houses, we come to the Plaza del Tossal-  a square with a small underground museum with the remains of the city’s wall. Near the Plaza del Tossal is the Plaza Sant Jaume , which is divided into two roads that lead into the popular Barrio del Carmen . Here marks the end of tour of the city where you can enjoy one of the many restaurants, shops, or cafes.

However, as it is a private guided tour we can start it from any other place more convenient for you. It could be: your hotel or apartment, restaurant, port or airport, train or bus station. Tell us what place is the most comfortable for you and we will meet there.

For the cruise ship passengers whose ship is stopping at the Port of Valencia, the best meeting place from the point of view of not wasting time on transfers from the port to the City of Arts and Sciences, is also the suggested one – at the tickets office of the Opera Palace. To get there from the Port of Valencias you can take a taxi or shuttle bus that all cruise ships usually offer. However, if you arrive to Valencia on the cruise ship and prefer that we meet in the port of Valencia, no problem – we can meet as close as possible to the pier where your cruise ship docks.

If you don't want to miss a thing, hop on the Valencia Tour Bus. You can tour the city in just two hours and take as many pictures as you want from the top of the distinctive green bus, without getting off. Or, if you feel like visiting a landmark or museum, shopping or walking along the beach or the Marina,  you can get off and on as often as you want at any of the bus stops, during the validity period of the ticket (24 or 48 hours) . It’s as simple as that!

How it works 

Select the date and type of ticket  you want and book online.  We'll send you a voucher to  print out or download on your phone .  You must show the voucher  to get on the  Valencia Tour Bus .

The validity of the ticket (24 or 48 hours) starts as soon as you use it on the bus for the first time . You can get on and off at any stop you want as long as the ticket is valid. Make sure it's the green tour bus. 

The bus leaves nine times daily  (ten in the months of July and August),  spaced 1h – 1h 15 min apart . The first bus leaves daily from stop No. 1 on Pintor Sorolla Street, near Plaza del Ayuntamiento, at 09:30 a.m., and the last one at 6:30 p.m. (7:30 p.m. in July and August).

The Green Valencia Tour Bus has 17 easily identifiable stops throughout the city: 1. Pintor Sorolla, 2 (Plaza del Ayuntamiento), 2. Bullring, 3. Fallas Museum, 4. City of Arts And Sciences, 5. Please note that there are two tour bus services (red and green), with different times, and your ticket will only be valid on the green bus.
