The light is coming – oh wait, that's just Ariana Grande sparkling on her world tour!

The "Thank U, Next" singer is currently on the final leg of her massive world tour in support of her fourth and fifth studio albums, Sweetener and Thank U, Next. Grande embarked on her Sweetener World Tour on March 18, and is set to wrap things up December 22 in Los Angeles, after a total of 102 shows. (You can see her remaining dates below!)

Her shows have been visually amazing – with a great stage design, runways, costume changes and back up dancers – but what keeps fans coming back is her talent. She's been hitting those high notes left and right, and has wowed with her live performances of new songs "God Is a Woman" and "NASA," and oldies but goodies "Side to Side" and "Dangerous Woman."

Think you know Ari's Sweetener World Tour setlist by heart? Keep reading to see her setlist highlights from each of her shows' 5 acts, which include a new holiday twist!

Grande opens her show with "Raindrops (An Angel Cried)" before getting into new songs "God Is a Woman," "Bad Idea" and "Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored" from Sweetener and Thank U, Next.

Once she has the audience warmed up, she performs a shortened rendition of "R.E.M." before digging into hits old and new, like "Sweetener," "Side to Side" and "7 Rings."

After a video interlude of Cashmere Cat's "Adore," Ari usually plays songs like "Breathin," "Needy," "Fake Smile" and "Make Up."

And to get into the holiday spirit, she just started including a Christmas medley during Act 3!

Grande plays snippets of songs from her 2015 EP, Christmas and Chill like "December," "True Love," "Wit It This Christmas" and "Santa Tell Me" before closing out the act with "NASA" and "Tattooed Heart."

Act 4 is the shortest – here, she usually segues between "Every time," "The Light Is Coming" and fan-favorite, "Into You."

A video of Marilyn Monroe singing "My Heart Belongs to Daddy" marks the beginning of the end.

Ari saves her bests for last, closing out her shows with "Dangerous Woman," "Break Free" and "No Tears Left to Cry" before ending with an encore of "Thank U, Next."

Ariana Grande opens up about her new album Eternal Sunshine

Everything we know about Ariana Grande's Eternal Sunshine Tour tickets, prices, presale, dates and setlist so far.

Listen to this article

I'm so into the idea of seeing Ariana Grande do an Eternal Sunshine tour this year, I can barely breathe...but is it happening?

Last time Ariana Grande released an album, it was the pandemic and she told Zach Sang that she had no interest in touring Positions until it was safe to do so. She said that she didn't want to put her fans in any danger. Ariana also teased that she liked touring Sweetener and Thank U, Next together and likely wouldn't do another tour until she had another album out.

Fast forward to 2024 and the Eternal Sunshine era is officially in full swing. Is Ariana Grande going on tour this year though? If she is, what are the tour dates, locations, ticket prices and presale codes? Here's what Ariana has said about it so far.

When is Ariana Grande going on tour?

Ariana Grande Tour 2024: Tickets, prices, presale, dates, setlist and everything we know

Will there be an Eternal Sunshine tour?

Talking to Zach Sang about a potential Eternal Sunshine tour in February 2024, Ariana said: "I would love to do shows. I love being on stage. I miss being on stage. I miss my fans so much. That's the honest to god truth."

However, Ariana then admitted that she struggled with touring in 2019. She said: "I had a really hard time emotionally on my last tour but I think that's because of where I was at. Just like with music, I'm really excited to redefine my relationship to shows when I'm ready and to see what that looks like."

As for if there's time in 2024, Ariana added: "I do have a very busy year with this [album] and with Wicked , and then next year I also have Wicked Part Two . I'm interested to see what that would look like. It would obviously be shorter if it were anything it would be a littler something."

Ariana ended by saying: "I definitely do have the itch. But then again, I’m not ready to announce any sort of thing, or get people too excited because I don’t want to disappoint."

With this in mind, it appears that no tour is currently set in stone. However, Ariana may still do a small run of shows so bookmark this page for updates.

Ariana Grande tour presale codes: How to find a presale code for your country

As it stands, Ariana has said nothing official about a tour so far. A couple of fan tweets have gone viral suggesting that there is a tour presale access code in her website coding but these all appear to be fake with fans simply using it as a way to encourage people to preorder Ariana's album. Nevertheless, if a tour happens, there will likely be a presale.

If Ariana follows in the footsteps of artists like Beyoncé , Taylor Swift and Harry Styles , she will probably have a Citi Verified Fan Presale in the US and an O2 Priority Presale in the UK. There may also be separate Live Nation and fan presales.

If Ariana does announce a tour, it would be wise to sign up to her mailing list to get any presale information as soon as it becomes available.

Ariana Grande tour ticket prices: How much will the tickets be?

Prices for an Ariana Grande Eternal Sunshine tour will likely depend on what kind of venues she performs in. Tickets for her last arena tour cost between $35 and $225. Based on her telling Zach Sang, she'd like to do something smaller, there's a chance that venues will be smaller and tickets will be more expensive.

Eternal Sunshine Tour dates: When is Ariana Grande going on tour in 2024?

Again, there's no news yet on whether Ariana is touring this year so no dates are currently available. If she does tour in any capacity it will have to take place before official promotion for Wicked starts. Wicked comes out in cinemas worldwide on November 27th. Taking this into consideration, any tour would likely wrap before November.

Ariana Grande tour locations: What cities will Ariana Grande play in?

While I think we would all like an Eternal Sunshine world tour, Ariana's Zach comments suggest that whatever she does for Eternal Sunshine will be on a much smaller scale than Sweetener.

With this in mind, it's unlikely that there will be shows outside of the US but she could have a livestream or filmed show planned.

Ariana Grande Eternal Sunshine tour setlist: What songs will she play?

Without any tour announcements, there's no knowing what songs Ariana Grande would perform on an Eternal Sunshine tour at the moment. Nevertheless, Ariana tends to heavily feature her recent projects in live shows, so expect lots of songs from Eternal Sunshine and Positions to feature alongside her biggest hits.

If Ariana does one-off Eternal Sunshine shows, it's also possible that she will opt to perform the album in full instead of a more traditional setlist.

Everything We Know About Ariana Grande’s New Album ‘Eternal Sunshine’

Pop sensation Ariana Grande is gearing up to shine. Her much-anticipated seventh studio album is scheduled for release in March — here’s all the details we know about ‘eternal sunshine’ so far.

Superstar Ariana Grande has officially announced the release of her next studio album — and per usual, she sent the internet ablaze. Fans of the two-time GRAMMY-winning pop singer can mark their calendars for Grande’s official return with eternal sunshine on March 8.

Grande has been topping charts for more than a decade after first breaking into the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 with her debut single, " The Way, " featuring Mac Miller , from her debut album, 2013’s Yours Truly .

Just days before announcing eternal sunshine — her first album since 2020’s Positions — Grande released the lead single " yes, and? " which teased a new disco-inspired sound that has fans and critics alike abuzz for more.

Ahead of the release, here’s everything GRAMMY.com currently knows about eternal sunshine .

The Album Will Be Released On March 8

On Jan. 17, Grande unveiled the album’s cover art, title and March 8 release date on social media. The singer’s mom took to her daughter’s Instagram post to share her elation about the upcoming release. " woooohoooo!!! here we f—ing go!!! " she wrote. " you're incredible ... the album is perfection!!! so proud.. Xooxxox " . We love a proud mom moment.

The Artwork Reflects A New Direction

Ariana Grande

In a striking departure from her neutral style, Grande dons red lipstick in the cover art for eternal sunshine . A powerful statement, this deliberate and unapologetic choice stands as a potent symbol of confidence, defiance, and courage.

The album’s cover art, featuring a close-up, partially obscured shot of Grande’s face with a soft motion blur, also reflects the tumultuous swirl of media attention surrounding her personal life. It sets the tone for the album, signaling a new era of boldness and artistic maturity. Grande appears to be reclaiming the narrative, transforming a symbol traditionally associated with stigma into one of strength and resilience.

She’s Working With Max Martin Again

Grande’s back to work with GRAMMY-winning producer and songwriter Max Martin , who has co-written and co-produced songs on five of her seven albums. After not collaborating on 2020's Positions , Martin is seemingly back on board for eternal sunshine , as he co-wrote "yes, and?". ( "yes, and?" was co-written and co-produced by another frequent Grande and Martin collaborator, Ilya Salmanzadeh .)

She’s Ready To Clap Back

As Grande released " yes, and? " on Jan. 12, she also sent a message with the music video; it’s a direct response to fans, critics, and commenters judging Grande’s life and career.

The video opens with a skit that features naysayers, making watercooler commentary including, " I mean who cares if she’s happy. I don’t want happy, I want art, " and " I think I liked her better when her ponytail was a few centimeters higher. " After being ushered and sat in a room full of stone statues, the characters watch astonished as the statues crumble and Grande appears to stomp over the rubble before launching into the disco-inspired dance track.

More pops of red appear throughout the otherwise monochrome video: a red invitation from “Ari” that appears in the first few seconds of the skit and Grande’s own glossy, manicured nails.

Her Fellow Superstars Are Pumped

Momma Grande isn’t the only one excited for eternal sunshine . When Ari posted photos and video clips from the studio on Instagram in December, she had several celebs screaming with joy.

" FINALLY, " commented Selena Gomez , with Billie Eilish eagerly demanding, " UN MUTE PLS " and SZA adding, " Oh this bout to eat. " But Grande’s frequent co-writer Victoria Monét may have put it best: " She’s HOME! "

She’s Already Back To Topping The Charts

Although Billboard charts were unavailable as of press time, " yes, and? " premiered at the top position on the Spotify Global Chart, marking her most significant streaming debut on Spotify ever. The single also secured the No.1 position on Apple Music Top 100 Global Chart and the official music video for the single " yes, and? " grabbed the top spot on YouTube’s Trending For Music category.

If that success is any indication for what’s to come upon eternal sunshine ’s full release in March, Grande’s return may be her most grande yet.

2024 Oscars: Ludwig Goransson's Masterful Composition for 'Oppenheimer' Wins Best Original Score

The 'Oppenheimer' win by one of the youngest composers to ever receive the award for Best Original Score, marks a second Oscar victory for Ludwig Goransson.

Ludwig Göransson 's captivating composition for Oppenheimer has triumphed in the Best Original Score category at the 2024 Oscars.

Göransson's victory represents his exceptional talent and innovative approach to film scoring, as one of the youngest composers to ever receive the Best Original Score Oscar. It marks his second win in the category — he took home his first Oscar in 2019 for Black Panther . Göransson's work on Oppenheimer also won at the 2024 GRAMMYs for Best Score Soundtrack For Visual Media (Includes Film And Television).

Göransson's work stood out among the competition, going up against the scores of American Fiction , Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny , Killers of the Flower Moon , and Poor Things . His ability to convey deep emotional narratives and complex historical contexts through his scores has established him as one of the most innovative and sought-after composers in Hollywood.

2024 Oscars: Watch Performances & Highlights

Göransson's composition for Oppenheimer serves as the heartbeat of the movie, underpinning the film's exploration of the moral complexities and monumental impact of J. Robert Oppenheimer's work on the atomic bomb. Through his music, Göransson invites audiences into the internal and external conflicts faced by the "father of the atomic bomb," providing a sonic backdrop that is as thought-provoking as it is visceral.

The award was presented by fellow GRAMMY winners, Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo , who will star together in the Wizard of Oz big screen adaptation of the musical Wicked as Glinda and Elphaba respectively, premiering on the silver screen later this year. Speaking to the power of music to leave an indelible mark on the viewer through film, Grande said, "a great film score can leave a handprint on our hearts forever. It can ignite wonder and astonishment, make us feel sadness and longing and even transport us to new worlds."

Göransson achieved just that. In his acceptance speech, Göransson thanked his colleagues,  and stars of the film for contributions to his distinctive vision. "Christopher Nolan, it was your idea to use a violin in the score and it allowed me to work and collaborate with my wonderful wife and acclaimed violinist, Serena Göransson," he said.

Göransson ended his speech by acknowledging his parents, "Thank you for giving me guitars and drum machines and not buying me video games."

2024 Oscars: Billie Eilish and FINNEAS Win Best Original Song For "What Was I Made For?" From The Motion Picture 'Barbie'

The duo's win for "What Was I Made For?" [From The Motion Picture 'Barbie'] marks the second Oscar win for Billie Eilish and FINNEAS, making Eilish the youngest two-time Oscar winner ever.

Sibling duo Billie Eilish and FINNEAS are taking home more awards "What Was I Made For" [ From The Motion Picture  * Barbie *], this time at the 2024 Oscars, winning the prestigious Best Original Song award for their heartfelt ballad.

Once again, they've proven their unparalleled talent crosses effortlessly between the realms of music and film. Billie Eilish and Finneas won their first Oscar in 2022 for Best Original Song with "No Time to Die," the theme for the James Bond film of the same name.

Fittingly, the award was presented by two GRAMMY-winning musical performers, Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo , who star as Glinda and Elphaba in the Wizard of Oz big screen adaptation of the musical Wicked, premiering on the silver screen later this year.

Eilish, who admitted to having a nightmare the night before receiving the award, burst into laughs before thanking the Academy and Barbie director Greta Gerwig, "Thank you to Greta, where did you go? I love you. Thank you for this. I'm so grateful for this song and this movie and the way that it made me feel."

The pair contended for the award against a diverse group of nominees: Diane Warren with "The Fire Inside" from "Flamin' Hot," Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt for "I'm Just Ken" also from Barbie , Jon Batiste and Dan Wilson with "It Never Went Away" from American Symphony , and Scott George for "Wahzhazhe (A Song for My People)" from Killers of the Flower Moon.

Ahead of the win, Eilish and O'Connell gave a stirring paired back performance that highlighted their power as a pair.

"What Was I Made For?" captivated audiences and critics alike with its poignant lyrics and emotive composition, underscoring the siblings' ability to tap into universal feelings of identity and purpose.

This Oscar win is a significant milestone for both artists, reinforcing their status as multifaceted talents capable of storytelling that resonates across different mediums. At the 2024 GRAMMYs , they had already made waves with the same song, winning Song Of The Year and Best Song Written For Visual Media .

Eilish and Finneas's journey from the music studios to the glitz of the Oscar stage is a testament to their hard work, creativity, and the deep connection they share as siblings. Their ability to collaborate and push the boundaries of music, now recognized by both the Recording Academy and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, sets a high bar for artists striving to make their mark across multiple industries.

Eilish and FINNEAS are not just a powerful duo in music but also formidable talents in film music composition. Their Oscar victory tonight is not just a win for them but a win for the incredible synergy between music and storytelling in cinema.

5 Takeaways From Ariana Grande's New Album 'Eternal Sunshine'

On her latest LP, Ariana Grande feels more self-assured than ever before — and 'eternal sunshine' details all of the life lessons and revelations that led to her most confident album yet.

Ariana Grande 's seventh album, eternal sunshine , begins with a single question: "How can I tell if I'm in the right relationship?"

The superstar has always been known for wearing her heart on her sleeve in her music — just look to 2018's Sweetener and especially 2019's thank you, next for a catalog of examples — and eternal sunshine is a mature evolution of that same level of transparency.

Grande's life has turned upside down since she released 2020's woozy, lovestruck Positions . She divorced husband Dalton Gomez after two years of marriage, and seemed to quickly move on to a new relationship with her Wicked co-star Ethan Slater. The huge changes created a firestorm of drama in the tabloids and across social media with fans left confused about timelines and even accusations of downright infidelity leveled against the singer.

Though she stayed largely quiet at the time, when Grande released "yes, and?" as her first new single in three years, the pop star was standing in her truth. "Now I'm so done with caring/ What you think, no, I won't hide/ Underneath your own projections/ Or change my most authentic life," she sings on the second verse.

While cleverly positioning the project as a concept album inspired by the 2004 drama Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind , Grande uses the rest of eternal sunshine to add to the unapologetic statements of "yes, and?", affirming through the music that there's much more to her story than tabloid headlines and internet rumors.

In a multitude of ways, eternal sunshine showcases immense growth on Grande's part as a pop star, musician, and songwriter — but most of all, as a human being. Below, take a look at five takeaways from Ari's most self-actualized album to date.

She's Learned That Ignorance Isn't Bliss

Grande chose not to release a second single ahead of the album's March 8 unveiling, telling fans she wanted them to experience eternal sunshine in its entirety as a full body of work. Instead, she dropped second single "we can't be friends (wait for your love)" and its accompanying music video in tandem with the LP's release, and the ethereal banger perfectly encapsulates the themes of love lost — and the pain of moving on — that tie eternal sunshine to its cinematic source material starring Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet.

In the "we can't be friends" video, Grande elects to have her memories of a past relationship erased, much like Joel and Clementine in the beloved Oscar winner. "I don't wanna tiptoe, but I don't want to hide/ But I don't wanna feed this monstrous fire/ Just wanna let this story die/ And I'll be alright," she intones on the opening verse.

However, by video's end, she, too, learns that it's better to live with the memories (and boundaries!) than to forget the love ever existed.

Grande explores the same theme even more acutely on the album's title track, directly referencing the plot of the film as she tries "to wipe my mind/ Just so I feel less insane." (Though unlike Joel and Clementine's story, the pop star and her ex have both clearly moved on, as evidenced by the eyebrow-raising refrain: "Hope you feel alright when you're in her/ I found a good boy and he's on my side/ You're just my eternal sunshine, sunshine.")

Glinda The Good Witch Has Transformed Her

In numerous interviews ahead of the album's release, Grande spoke at length about the ways playing Glinda in the upcoming Wicked movies impacted her internally, recentered her priorities and healed her relationship with music. She had been adamant about not releasing new music while spending all her energy in the Good Witch of the North's magic bubble, but the impact the character's assured and confident nature had on her is evident throughout the entire body of work.

"Something that Glinda has is this very sure sense of self," Grande said in late February on The Zach Sang Show . "And she's not very apologetic. She's very good, she's very kind, but she's very certain. She takes up a lot of space unapologetically. And I think I, maybe before knowing Glinda and spending a lot of time with her , would cram myself into tiny little spaces and be kind of apologetic about what I come with and who I am."

That same unapologetic kindness runs through virtually every song on the album, from the self-assured confidence of "yes, and?" to the disco-tinged heartbreak fantasia of "bye."

She's Just Fine Being Labeled The Villain

Being a concept album, eternal sunshine allows Grande to inhabit new roles and toy with perceptions of her pop star persona, and nowhere is that more evident than on "true story" and "the boy is mine," a one-two punch filled with '90s-inflected R&B and lyrical sass.

"I'll play the bad girl if you need me to…and I'll be good in it too," she pronounces on the former, clapping back at the media narrative swirling around the timeline of her split and new relationship with Wicked costar Ethan Slater. On the latter, as its title suggests, Grande taps into the feisty vibe of Brandy and Monica's 1998 smash while making it crystal clear she isn't competing with anyone for her new love's affections.

Taken together, the two tracks affirm that Ari really is feeling more resolute in her truth than ever — regardless of what the masses have to say or what other narratives may be running rampant.

She Remains A Master Of Vocal Production

Whether she's layering harmonies over a melody line or vocal arranging an entire bridge on the fly, the superstar's mastery over her instrument only continues to grow with each new album — evolving from a singer with a once-in-a-generation voice into a powerhouse who can ably execute her own vision from behind the mic.

eternal sunshine proves that point again and again, from the sumptuous extended whistle tone intro on "yes, and?" and the transcendence of the floating harmonies on "don't wanna break up again" to the ways she punctuates her dreamy, staccato vocal delivery on "i wish i hated you."

She Knows Love Is "Imperfect"

After making peace with the end of her marriage, Grande spends the tail end of eternal sunshine giving listeners valuable insight into where her head is at these days, relationship with Slater included. She addresses the unexpected start to this new love story head-on in the off-kilter melody of "imperfect for you" as she coos, "My love, they don't understand/ But I'll hold your heart in the box here beside me/ How could we know we'd arrange all the cosmos?/ We crashed and we burned/ Now I just can't go where you don't go."

And by the album's end, she finally finds the answer she's been searching for since the first track — in a nugget of wisdom from her beloved Nonna, who serves as the only guest credited on the album's 13-song tracklist. "Never go to bed without kissin' goodnight, it's the worst thing to do, don't ever, ever do that," the Italian matriarch advises. "And if you can't and if you don't feel comfortable doing it, you're in the wrong place, get out."

Not only does Nonna's advice wrap eternal sunshine up in a bow, it also speaks to the hard-earned lessons Ari has learned over the past few years — but also that she's come out on the other side stronger, wiser and more unapologetic than ever.

This March, the Recording Academy celebrates Women's History Month with pride and joy. Press play on this official playlist that highlights uplifting songs from Taylor Swift, Victoria Monét, Anitta and more.

From commanding stages to blasting through stereos, countless women have globally graced the music industry with their creativity. And though they've long been underrepresented , tides are changing: in just the last few years, female musicians have been smashing records left and right, conquering top song and album charts and selling sold-out massive tours .

This year, Women's History Month follows a particularly historic 66th GRAMMY Awards , which reflected the upward swing of female musicians dominating music across the board. Along with spearheading the majority of the ceremony's performances, women scored bigtime in the General Field awards — with wins including Best New Artist , Record Of The Year , Song Of The Year , and Album Of The Year .

Female empowerment anthems, in particular, took home major GRAMMY gold. Miley Cyrus ' "Flowers" took home two awards , while Victoria Monét was crowned Best New Artist thanks to the success of her album Jaguar II and its hit single "On My Mama." As those two songs alone indicate, female empowerment takes many different shapes in music — whether it's moving on from a relationship by celebrating self-love or rediscovering identity through motherhood.

The recent successes of women in music is a testament to the trailblazing artists who have made space for themselves in a male-dominated industry — from the liberating female jazz revolution of the '20s to the riot grrl movement of the '90s. Across genres and decades, the classic female empowerment anthem has strikingly metamorphosed into diverse forms of defiance, confidence and resilience.

No matter how Women's History Month is celebrated, it's about women expressing themselves, wholeheartedly and artistically, and having the arena to do so . And in the month of March and beyond, women in the music industry deserve to be recognized not only for their talent, but ambition and perseverance — whether they're working behind the stage or front-and-center behind the mic.

From Aretha Franklin 's "RESPECT" to Beyoncé 's "Run the World (Girls)," there's no shortage of female empowerment anthems to celebrate women's accomplishments in the music industry. Listen to GRAMMY.com's 2024 Women's History Month playlist on streaming services below.

Reflecting on the past year , Grande expressed her gratitude for 2023, describing it as "one of the most transformative, most challenging, and yet happiest and most special years of my life." She acknowledged the valuable lessons life taught her and expressed fulfillment in her work, cherishing every moment.

Last month, Grande gave fans a glimpse into the process behind her seventh studio album, sharing a photo dump on Instagram, which included a clip of her taking a nap on a studio couch. “FINALLY,” commented fellow singer Selena Gomez .

“Oh this bout to eat,” SZA wrote.

Then, on December 17, Grande teased the album once again, posting a video with no audio of her singing in the studio.

All of the rumors turned out to be true when, on Jan. 7, 2024, Grande announced her single “yes, and?” The song dropped a few days later on January 12 and debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 .

Grande also released a music video for “yes, and?” that same day. She was inspired by Paula Abdul—specifically her 1988 music video for “Cold Hearted.”

One week later, Grande officially announced her upcoming seventh studio album, Eternal Sunshine. This is her first album since Positions in 2020, so fans have been anxiously awaiting new music from the Wicked star.

With the album’s release finally here, ahead is everything you need to know about Eternal Sunshine.

When does Eternal Sunshine come out?

On January 17, Grande officially announced the title and release date of her newest album: Eternal Sunshine comes out on March 8, 2024.

“I think this one may be your favorite. It is mine,” Grande posted to her Instagram Story on February 1.

Grande is keeping the songs from this album under wraps until its official release.

On February 5, she posted to her Instagram story, “my loves ♡ we are a little over a month away from Eternal Sunshine and I don’t think it’s possible to articulate how grateful I am for your love, support and excitement! I wanted to say... as hard as it is to resist the urge to share another song or single with you all asap, I would really love for you to experience the album in full this time. There will of course be more singles off of this project once it is out (and we may have a little surprise or two up our sleeves to hold you over until then so don't you worry) but waiting a little longer for you to be able to listen fully through first really is my ideal way for you all to experience this body of work.”

“Thank you for your trust in my vision and plan! You ave waited so long for new music from me and I am so grateful for your patience! I look forward to savoring every second of this new era with you all and I sincerely cannot wait for it to be yours! It’s going to be (and already is) so special. I am so excited for all that is to come. More than ever. Love you so so so,” she finished.

And, at last, it’s here!

Has the Eternal Sunshine album cover come out yet?

When announcing the album’s release date, Grande also unveiled its cover, which is the same one she used for “yes, and?” It features a blurry close-up of Grande with red lipstick on.

However, Grande also revealed that there would be seven different cover variations.

“Album cover 5 of 7 tomorrow ♡,” she posted on her Instagram Story on January 26.

How many songs are on Eternal Sunshine?

There will be 13 songs on Grande’s seventh studio album. According to her website , track 1 is titled “intro (end of the world),” track 5 is “eternal sunshine,” and track 9 is “yes, and?”

On February 7, Grande revealed some more song titles on her Instagram. Track 2 is called “bye,” track 6 is “supernatural,” and track 10 is “we can’t be friends (wait for your love).”

On February 17, she revealed three more: track 3, called “don’t want to break up again,” track 7, “true story,” and track 11, “i wish i hated you.”

There were also more covers, which she announced in the caption were all available to preorder.

And finally on February 27, Grande shared the titles of the last four songs: track 4 is called “Saturn Returns Interlude,” track 8 is “the boy is mine,” track 12 is “imperfect for you,” and track 13 is “ordinary things (feat. nonna).”

She also appeared to hide some song lyrics in the post. They include: “I’ll hold your hurt in a box here beside me,” “If the sun refused to shine, baby, would I still be your lover,” “How I just can’t go where you don’t go,” “Deep breaths, tight chest, life, death, rewind,” and “How could we know we’d make the bad stuff delightful?”

What can we expect from Eternal Sunshine?

On February 1, Grande posted an Instagram Reel from when she first played some of the songs from the album for her family and team.

“I wanted to share with you this, it’s kinda a concept album because it’s all different heightened pieces of the same story, of the same experience,” she said in the video.

“Some are really vulnerable. Some of them are, like, playing the part that people kind of expect me to be sometimes and having fun with that,” she continued. “And the rest of it is also just kinda really vulnerable.”

Will Grande be putting out any music videos for Eternal Sunshine?

On January 12, the same day as the single’s release, Grande put out a music video for “yes, and?”

Then, on Friday, March 1, exactly one week before Eternal Sunshine, Grande posted an Instagram Reel announcing what appears to be a music video for her upcoming song “we can’t be friends (wait for your love).”

It is inspired by the 2004 film Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind starring Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet, which we can assume the album as a whole takes inspiration from. The movie is about a couple, Joel and Clementine, who break up and decide to undergo medical treatments to permanently erase each other from their memories.

In the clip, Grande is sitting in a waiting room reading a consent form that says, “You have given extensive thought behind your decision and give ‘Brighter Days Inc.’ the exclusive permission to remove this person completely from your memory.” She looks unsure, and her pen lingers over the “No” check box for a moment before she changes her mind and checks “Yes,” signing the name “Peaches” with a heart on the signature line.

A nurse then calls her in for her appointment, and the video ends with, “‘we can’t be friends anymore’ (coming soon).”

“⋆。˚⋆ฺ we can’t be friends ⋆。˚⋆ฺ ☼,” Grande wrote in the caption. “one week til eternal sunshine .”

Grande already previously revealed that she wouldn’t be releasing any more songs from her new album after “yes, and?,” so sadly we’ll have still have to wait until March 8 to hear “we can’t be friends.” However, it is unclear if Grande will be dropping the music video the same day, or if that’ll come at a later date.

Will Grande be going on tour?

According to some genius TikTok sleuths , the coding on Grande’s website was updated to eventually include a “tour dates” section, so we can hopefully expect to see her perform Eternal Sunshine live soon.

But, we don’t suggest getting your hopes up just yet. Grande made a very rare podcast appearance on the Zach Sang Show on February 26, her first interview in quite a while, where she admitted that she’s unsure if she’ll go on tour.

“I think I would love to do shows. I love being on stage. I miss being on stage. I miss my fans so much, that’s honest to god truth,” she started. “Um, I had a really hard time emotionally on my last tour, but I think that’s because of where I was at. So, just like with music, I think I’m really excited to redefine my relationship to shows when I’m ready and to see what that looks like.”

“I do have a very busy year with this and with Wicked ,” Grande added. “And then the next year I also have Wicked Part Two. So, I’m interested to see what that would look like. It would obviously be shorter. If it were anything, it would be, like, a littler...a littler something. But I definitely do have the itch. I miss my fans. I miss being on stage. But then again, I also am not ready to announce any sort of thing or get people too excited ‘cause I don’t want to disappoint.”

Review: Ariana Grande Launches ‘Sweetener’ World Tour in Albany

By Brittany Spanos

Brittany Spanos

When it comes to pop stardom, hits only get you so far if you don’t have an easily recognizable look. At the first date of Ariana Grande ’s Sweetener World Tour in Albany on March 18th, it was clear that she has this part of the job covered. Never before has there been a higher concentration of high ponytails in one room. Nor was there any shortage of thigh-high suede boots, sparkly cat ear headbands or oversized sweaters. This was an Ariana Grande concert, after all. How else was one supposed to dress?

Fewer and fewer young stars today have the kind of distinctive aesthetic that can be reproduced en masse by fans, but Grande has dedicated years to perfecting how she has presented herself. In 2019, it seems the world has finally caught up to her. Or, as her frequent collaborator and friend Nicki Minaj predicted on “Side to Side” three years ago: “Ariana run pop.”

Grande has never been more omnipresent than she is right now. Hours before the Albany show kicked off, her song “7 Rings” shot back up to Number One on the Hot 100. “I bet you when I turn the radio on, they’ll be playing her music,” my Uber driver said when I told her where I was heading. Sure enough, Grande’s empower-trap-pop hit was rolling out of the speakers within seconds.

This is a star who’s fresh off two of her best albums yet, and they were released within five months of each other. The latter of the two, Thank U, Next , has been her most career-shifting: Grande spent much of her early career finding her voice and sound by bending to pop trends, but now it’s time for those trends to bend to her.

As much as this tour is a victory lap, it’s also proof of life. Her last world tour was shadowed by tragedy when her show in Manchester, England, was targeted by a suicide bomber, and in September, her ex-boyfriend and longtime friend Mac Miller died from an overdose. If Grande wanted to sit this touring cycle out, her fans probably would’ve understood. But she chose not to, and that speaks volumes to the strength she’s built this show around.

Editor’s picks

The 250 greatest guitarists of all time, the 500 greatest albums of all time, the 50 worst decisions in movie history, every awful thing trump has promised to do in a second term.

Before Grande took the stage, two opening acts set the tone: pop duo Social House and Fifth Harmony’s Normani. Normani was an especially wise choice. This is her first solo tour, coming at the start of what promises to be a major career outside the group. Though she’s still a bit green when it comes to performing on her own, she moved confidently, showing off her multi-threat abilities. She’s a pop star who clearly envisions herself on a Beyoncé-esque trajectory — the strategically placed wind machine says it all — and she tries to pack a lot into her 30 minutes on stage. (A Rihanna medley! Fifth Harmony classics! An early 2000s dance-off!) Normani will find her groove sooner or later, but she’s already accomplished the hard part of being an opening act on a big pop tour: making the audience hungry for 90 more minutes of her show.

Soon the stage was set for Grande’s headlining performance. The design featured two large, moon-like orbs. One jutted from the ceiling while the other was dead center on the stage’s backdrop; an angular runway wrapped around half of the pit. The staging was streamlined and simple, never too distracting and perfectly conveying the tour’s cosmic visual tone, also reflected in her outfit colors and lighting.

Her set began the way the Sweetener album did: The a cappella “Raindrops (An Angel Cried)” rang through the arena to the piercing screams of her thousands of fans. Grande sang the short Four Seasons cover from off-stage, then made her entrance from a platform that rose up through an opening on the main stage as the opening notes of “God Is A Woman” chimed in. She re-created her Last Supper-referencing choreography from the MTV Video Music Awards , this time in devilish red latex and bathed in matching lights. It was here that she pulled out her great vocal weapon: an effortless, lengthy whistle tone that left the room quivering as soon as it ended.

The red lights became more opaque as she launched into two of the more sordid songs from Thank U, Next : the guitar-driven “Bad Idea” and *NSYNC-sampling “Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored.” With those, she gave playful, narrative-heavy choreography and played into a more villainous, dangerous side of herself.

The first outfit and tonal set change of the night came soon after, but not before a video interlude of a young Grande recreating a scene from 2003’s Bruce Almighty for, presumably, her mom’s camcorder. It’s a moment bearing little show relevance, other than being an adorable reminder of how much charisma Grande has always had. When she returned, the set and her outfit were much more soft femme: Grande wore a ruffly pink set as the orbs transformed into pastels for the Sweetener highlight “R.E.M.”

Next came another pop culture reference: the scene in First Wives Club where Goldie Hawn’s character screams “I do have feelings! I’m an actress! I have all of them!” screened before a stacked chunk of stellar cuts from Grande’s discography, including the house-pop Dangerous Woman standout “Be Alright” (including a pretty iconic death drop at one point), the celebratory “Successful” and, of course, her current chart-topper “7 Rings,” where she was accompanied by a pink car on the stage.

A more introspective section followed, led by “Breathin,” her finest vocal performance of the night as she nimbly belted out the song’s soothing, honest message of self-care in the face of trauma and anxiety. Grande had her best moment of theatrical acting-out during “Fake Smile” a couple of songs later, as she pretended to be at a function she needed to see herself out of. Other skit-like moments (like a befuddling jewelry-hawking scene during “Bloodline”) fell short, but a little goes a long way.

Grande finally referenced her first two albums during the second half of the show, performing Yours Truly tracks “Right There” and “You’ll Never Know” back-to-back with My Everything deep cut “Break Your Heart Right Back,” to less fanfare than her newer material received. When she followed this medley with “NASA,” the audience was right back in the palm of her “BBQ Grill Finger” hand.

The entire night shifted when she hit “Goodnight N Go,” another Sweetener highlight that happens to interpolate one of her favorite artists, Imogen Heap. The composed, poised theater kid came apart during this song; her voice became shaky as she began to seemingly sob during the bridge. The lights dimmed, allowing her privacy as she sang from the B Stage in the middle of the pit, surrounded by fans helping her sing along. She left for an outfit change after this as “In My Head” played in full; it was difficult to tell if she was meant to sing that song on stage, or if it was always meant to act as an interlude. Either way, it was clear that Grande had let her guard down onstage, especially as she returned to perform songs like “One Last Time,” which her fans have claimed as their recovery anthem following the Manchester bombing.

The end of the main set was a sucker punch of big dance-pop moments: “Into You,” “Dangeorus Woman,” “Break Free” and “No Tears Left to Cry” would make any dance floor explode on their own, let alone when they’re performed back-to-back by the artist herself. The most she talked with the audience during this show happened before “No Tears,” when she sincerely thanked everyone for coming to the show, but informed them that if she talked any longer she was going to start crying.

When Grande rose to the stage for her encore, she was confronted with an audio issue: Her microphone wasn’t working at all. Thankfully, there can’t be many people left who do not know the lyrics to “Thank U, Next,” so the audience once again offered a helping hand. She had a new microphone in hand by the time the second verse came in, and she shrugged off the snafu as she skipped around the runway, once again referencing First Wives Club ’s final scene choreography as the show wrapped up. Though probably incredibly frustrating for Grande, technical difficulties during a song celebrating romance’s many broken microphones felt poignant. We’ve seen the ups and downs of her mid-twenties played out so publicly and honestly, and if we’ve learned one thing from her, it’s that all we can do is acknowledge them, recover as best we can and say “Thank u, next show.”

Tate McRae Covers Ariana Grande's ‘We Can't Be Friends' at London Concert: Watch

Tate McRae slowed things down at her recent concert in London for a stripped-back cover of Ariana Grande ‘s "We Can't Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)."

In a clip from the Canadian singer/songwriter's pair of sold-out shows at the Apollo Theatre on April 22-23, McRae wears a green tracksuit while sitting on a stool, accompanied by a simple electric guitar. "Know that you made me/ I don't like how you paint me, yet I'm still here hanging," she sings, her delicate voice bringing out a different side of Grande's belted track. "Not what you made me/ It's something like a daydream."

Released as the second single from Grande's latest album Eternal Sunshine , "We Can't Be Friends" debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 . The pop star released a music video for the song in March co-starring American Horror Story ‘s Evan Peters, aptly inspired by the plot of the 2004 film Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind .

At her London shows this week, the "Greedy" singer also performed songs from her 2023 LP Think Later , which peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 . In the crowd of thousands during her tenure at the Apollo, McRae's bestie and fellow pop star Olivia Rodrigo attended, along with the "Vampire" musician's rumored boyfriend, actor Louis Partridge.

"2 sold out nights in london i luuurrreevveeeeee u guys," McRae wrote on Instagram afterward, sharing photos from the performances. "with ALL MY HEART THANK U."

The 20-year-old rising pop star will next take her Think Later Tour to Manchester, followed by Wolverhampton in the U.K. The European leg of her trek will continue through the first week of May, with stops in Germany, Sweden, Norway and more.

Earlier this month, schedules aligned so the "Exes" artist could attend one of The Kid Laroi's concerts in Dublin. At one point, the "Stay" singer told the crowd as McRae blushed backstage, "I need everybody in here to sing this as loud as they can because my girlfriend's here tonight, and I don't want to look lame."

A little more than a decade into her recording career, Ariana Grande ranks as one of the most successful pop singers of all time. She’s landed dozens of hits, and she regularly churns out new music for her massive following. The Wicked actor’s latest single is on the rise, and as it climbs, it helps Grande make history on one of Billboard’s most competitive tallies.

"We Can't Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)" enters the top 10 on the Pop Airplay chart for the first time this week. The tune jumps from No. 11 to No. 8 on Billboard’s ranking of the songs that earn the largest number of audience impressions across top 40 pop radio stations in the U.S.

Grande collects her twenty-second top 10 hit on the Pop Airplay chart this frame. That’s one of the most impressive counts of all time, and it’s one that the singer has improved upon more than once recently.

With a twenty-second top 10 single to her credit, Grande is now tied for the third-most placements inside the highest tier on the tally among all artists. As "We Can't Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)" climbs to eighth place, she matches with Maroon 5 for this honor.

Rihanna claims the most top 10s on the Pop Airplay chart. The Barbadian superstar has accrued 30 smashes that have risen to somewhere between Nos. 1 and 10, and she remains in a very distant first place.

‘Baby Reindeer’ Star Says Real Martha Searches Need To Stop

‘challengers’ reviews: does zendaya tennis movie score with critics, patriots select north carolina quarterback drake maye with no 3 pick in nfl draft.

Taylor Swift lands in second place on this all-time list. She’s nabbed 23 top 10s on the Pop Airplay chart–just one more than both Grande and Maroon 5.

While Swift is only one hit ahead of her closest competition, that might not remain the case for much longer. Her new album The Tortured Poets Department is slated to drop on Friday (April 19). It likely won’t produce a top 10 on the Pop Airplay chart immediately, but within a few weeks, it wouldn’t be strange to see at least one of the tracks from the set break into the loftiest space on the tally.

"We Can't Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)" serves as the second official single from Grande’s new album Eternal Sunshine . The song debuted at No. 1 on the Hot 100, and radio support is now catching up to that success.

Its predecessor, “Yes, And?” also opened in first place on the Hot 100, and it was a big radio hit as well. On the Pop Airplay chart, that tune peaked at No. 10. It’s now down to No. 40 on the 40-spot list, so it looks like the dance-pop favorite may disappear from the roster very soon.

Gossip girl … Taylor Swift.

From Taylor to Ariana, pop’s overreliance on gossip is choking the life out of it

Laura Snapes

Today’s pop stars are cramming songs with so much biography they need footnotes – and they’re in danger of alienating all but their hardcore fans

W hen Taylor Swift released Reputation in 2017, she self-published an accompanying magazine while avoiding interviews. “When this album comes out, gossip blogs will scour the lyrics for the men they can attribute to each song, as if the inspiration for music is as simple and basic as a paternity test,” she wrote in an essay. The sentiment oozed with contempt for playing dot-to-dot with her lyrics – even though, from her debut album to Reputation’s predecessor 1989, Swift left clues in her liner notes that clearly indicated whom certain songs were about.

Seven years on, and Swift’s new album, The Tortured Poets Department, couldn’t be more transparent about its subjects – typewriters and tattoos lighting a path to the 1975’s Matty Healy, whom she had a fling with last spring; Hampstead Heath and “longsuffering propriety” referring to actor Joe Alwyn, who she dated for six years.

In case you didn’t clock them from ambient exposure to the mass coverage of the past year in her life, there are hundreds of articles online handily “decoding” the carefully chosen references; bonus song The Black Dog mentions Pennsylvania pop-punk band the Starting Line, and one easy Google search reveals that the 1975 covered them live last year. Maybe Swift was going for the highest-profile humiliation of her exes possible; maybe it’s an admission of defeat against a media that will pick the bones clean of anything she does – or a naked attempt to harness the exposure guaranteed by that kind of coverage.

The latter seems most likely given that gossip is pop’s driving engine right now. From Swift to Ariana Grande’s divorce album Eternal Sunshine , Sabrina Carpenter, Miley Cyrus and Olivia Rodrigo, the highest-profile releases are laden with popcorn-chewing subtext – or it’s the subtext that propels them to that level of exposure.

Ariana Grande holding a microphone in a bright dress

The lurid appeal of famous people shit-talking one another is evident – and it’s long been an art form in rap, now in the midst of a purple patch for beef – but whether it makes for lasting pop is another matter. Swift helped propagate the notion that pop achieves universality through specificity, though there’s a point at which specificity begins to strangle the life out of songwriting; where proper nouns (“Charlie Puth”) stand in for being able to contour emotional arcs and elegant portrayals of relationship dynamics that listeners might see in their own lives. Rather than enduring landmarks in an artist’s catalogue, these records can feel like expansions of personal lore more akin to how the Marvel Cinematic Universe operates: a layering of references and gestures over meaning and depth; a patently obvious breadcrumb trail that harnesses the public into promoting a generation of superstars, who can now comfortably evade the press.

The move away from physical music and bespoke music media to streaming and social media seems key to this shift. New music is now just another thing in your feed; it has had to use the eye-catching clickbait of its competitors to keep pace. “Why do you care so much whose dick I ride?” Grande asked on Yes, And?, the lead single from Eternal Sunshine – rebuking fans and baiting them at the same time. It’s also down to a generation of particularly young female pop stars becoming the writers of their own work and so documenting their own lives, something that was much less common at the turn of the 2010s. That is a wholly positive shift that has produced a ton of great work. But even the most elegant songwriters find themselves caught in an age when veracity is considered the ultimate in authenticity, and they are subject to prurient online sleuthing that treats songwriting as a series of clues to piece together in pursuit of some ultimate “truth”.

Rodrigo never discussed the explicit background to her masterful debut single Drivers License, but fans quickly assumed that it concerned a supposed love triangle between three young Disney Channel stars. She seemed burned by the invasive coverage; so too was Joshua Bassett, the alleged male party, who ended up hospitalised as a result of the stress and whose career has never recovered. Carpenter, the rumoured “other woman”, wrote the excellently nonchalant Because I Liked a Boy after she was hounded over the allegations (“Now I’m a homewrecker, I’m a slut … Tell me who I am ’cos I don’t have a choice”). She then seemed to become weaponised in a rumoured rift between Rodrigo and Swift when the latter invited Carpenter to support the Eras tour (Rodrigo’s comeback single Vampire was also assumed to be about Swift).

For all that subtext, Carpenter’s new single, Espresso, is a mercifully frothy diversion from the discourse: breezy disco about being so hot you keep boys up at night. It’s rising up the UK Top 10, and Carpenter looks set to become the next big pop star – a waning archetype, with few breaking through since Rodrigo in 2021. You wonder if the difficulty in developing new stars comes down to an absence of readymade lore, which Carpenter has. Now 24, she is only new to the general public. She started on Disney at 16 and has released five albums, and left Disney’s own Hollywood Records, which caters to a niche teen audience, to sign to Island for 2022’s Emails I Can’t Send – her first album after intrigue into her personal life flourished.

It leaves pop in a tricky spot. Too much gossip and you date your work; too little and fans lose interest. Last year, Ellie Goulding toted her fifth album, Higher Than Heaven, as her “least personal record yet” – and it was also her least successful, bombing out of the UK charts after a fortnight. The opening track to Justin Timberlake’s new album, Everything I Thought It Was teased introspection in the wake of his post-Britney reckoning, but only offered up vacant libidinous disco pop: it also dropped out of the Top 100 after two weeks. Kacey Musgraves’ latest album, Deeper Well, frustratingly traded her old lyrical specificity for therapy-smoothed platitudes. Dua Lipa’s forthcoming album has been distinguished by a remarkably blank press campaign: good on her for not spilling her guts for headlines, but her vapid interviews and three totally impersonal singles have left fans nonplussed about Radical Optimism. “The self is the only subject,” Neil Tennant of the Pet Shop Boys – one of pop’s great storytellers – withered at a Guardian Live event this week while promoting the band’s new album, Nonetheless, which instead imagines the inner lives of dancer Rudolf Nureyev, spy George Blake and Oscar Wilde.

after newsletter promotion

Today’s self-obsessed pop, which needs its own footnotes, may well alienate the passing fan who just wants something to listen to in the car. Perhaps that’s why charts are seeing a resurgence of rustic broad-church emoting from the likes of Benson Boone, Teddy Swims, Hozier and Noah Kahan; and why Natasha Bedingfield’s Unwritten has stuck around off the back of its Saltburn bump (“No one else can speak the words on your lips”).

There’s also a rising newcomer in Chappell Roan, the alternative US pop star whose Good Luck, Babe! is shooting up the Top 40. It’s a song about loving a closeted woman who ultimately goes back to men, which nonetheless makes a universal statement about the unstoppable nature of desire: “You’d have to stop the world just to stop the feeling,” she sings. Moreover, she has a fantastical vision: a sort of regency rodeo prom queen; or Elizabeth I with a pig’s nose . As with the Last Dinner Party’s similarly baroque get-ups, it’s an invitation to fantasia that assumes no prior knowledge: just don some fancy dress and get stuck in. That sense also seems key to Beyoncé’s current incarnation: after the personal revelations of her 2013 self-titled album and 2016’s Lemonade, 2022’s Renaissance and this year’s Cowboy Carter mostly strip the specifics of her life from the lyrics to instead comfortably centre Beyoncé as a font of joyful genre play and invention. Tellingly, the one “Becky with the good hair” reference in Cowboy Carter’s Jolene rewrite stuck out for its tedious biographical retread.

None of this is to say that pop stars should avoid writing about their personal lives – far from it. But the most resonant pop steers between the two impulses. Charli XCX’s comeback single Von Dutch was clearly taunting someone – “it’s OK to just admit that you’re jealous of me” – but whoever the subject is pales in comparison to the way the song’s brazen grind makes you feel just as unfuckwithable as Charli. The Tortured Poets Department has a handful of moments like this. Guilty As Sin? may make its subject clear from the first line (no prizes for guessing which pop rogue’s favourite band is the Blue Nile) but Swift’s portrait of agonised fantasy over the forbidden while trapped in a stultifying relationship – and trapped in the societal expectations around it – resound with real emotional truth. The unfulfilled yearning is the album’s most convincingly sensual moment – a testament to leaving the picture incomplete.

Ariana Grande is offering up some behind-the-scenes footage as fans eagerly await her next single.

On Saturday (April 27), the 30-year-old pop superstar shared black-and-white footage from early recordings of her Billboard Hot 100 hit “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love),” which blasted to No. 1 on the chart in mid-March.

“We Can’t Be Friends” is the second single from Grande’s seventh album, Eternal Sunshine , which launched at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. “Yes, And?,” the lead single from the set, released on Republic Records, premiered at the summit in January.

Grande concluded her IG post by teasing the next single from Eternal Sunshine .

“i know everyone is antsy and excited for the next single (so am i — literally typing this to you while working on …a something…) but i appreciate your patience, allowing wcbf to continue doing her thing. i promise, i’ll do my best to make it worth the wait,” she wrote.

Grande’s mother, Joan Grande, took to the comments section to show her support for her daughter. “I love hearing you in the studio… pure magic! Pure genius!! Incredible… magnificent song, singer!!” she wrote. The singer’s brother, Frankie, added, “We know it’s going to be worth the wait and I’m so happy to continue celebrating WCBF! It’s a triumph!”

Salmanzadeh, who co-wrote “We Can’t Be Friends,” noted that the recording showed “Magic in the making. Such a special record. We are lucky to know and work with U my incredibly brilliant friend!”

In early April, exactly one month after dropped Eternal Sunshine , Grande shared additional behind-the-scenes video of her in the studio and revealed that she’s just getting started on promoting the project.
