Bureau of Tourism

Bureau of Tourism is one of the many side quests in Fallout 76. In this side quest, all you have to do is find the Grafton’s Mayor, talk to him and follow some of the instructions he might be giving.

He, fundamentally, wants you to fix the four main attractions of the town. These attractions are Wary Wilard’s, the Clarksburg Shooting Range, Prickett’s Fort, and the Black Bear hunting lodge.

There is no time limit for you; you can complete the side-quest any time you wish, without any problems. While you are in Grafton, you can also tune into WGRF Grafton radio to complete the Misc. Quest “Tune into WGRF Grafton Radio”.

Possible Quest Rewards

  • Random Ammo
  • A Random Aid Item

Grafton is located just northeast of Vault 76, to the direct north of Moundsville Penitentiary. Another thing to note is that you can follow Road 92 towards Road 96 to get here.

Fallout 76 Bureau of Tourism Quest - Prickett's Fort Token Dispenser Bug

Home » Fallout 76 » Fallout 76 Bureau of Tourism Quest – Prickett’s Fort Token Dispenser Bug

Bureau of Tourism is a side quest in Fallout 76. It starts when you listen in on a radio transmission near Grafton, and ends suddenly when you reach a quest-breaking bug at Prickett’s Fort. A lot of people are getting stuck here, thanks to a known issue that existed way back in beta. You should just avoid it until you get words it was fixed, but if you’re interested, here’s all the stuff we tried while attempting to complete Fallout 76 Bureau of Tourism quest .

fallout 76 bureau of tourism quest prickett's fort token dispenser bug

Cannot interact with token dispenser bug

The bug presents itself only after you’ve done most of the quest. Once you go to Prickett’s Fort and try to interact with the token dispenser you’re supposed to fix, you’ll discover you cannot interact with it. It’s like it’s a non-entity, a bunch of textures floating mid-air. There’s no prompt when you approach it, no collision when you try to go through it. I does not exist.

The first thing we tried was the age old trick of switching servers – it fixes most of the issues with the game, but not this one. We also tried approaching it from different directions and mashing the interact button, hoping it was just a matter of terrible hitboxes. No luck there, either. It seems like we’ll all just have to wait for a patch.

How to get circuitry?

One of the earlier quest steps requires you to have some circuits on hand. Since the tracking system won’t work on an item unless you have at least one of it in your inventory, some people who don’t have any circuitry got stuck here.

Circuitry is obtained by scrapping certain junk items, including Assaultron circuit boards, circuits, advanced targeting cards, flight data recorders, hot plates, military grade circuit boards, radio jammers, sensor modules and telephones. That last one is probably the best way to get it – there are phones in pretty much every home, and unless somebody has looted your area in the last hour, you should be able to get some pretty easily.

Fallout 76: Atlantic City's Three Big Factions Explained

Fallout 76: 5 most overpowered weapons, ranked, fallout 76 gamers are nuking phil spencer, quick links, the enclave faction explained, how to join the enclave, enclave questline guide, how to become an enclave general, how to get the x0-1 power armor at the enclave base.

The Enclave is one of the 35 factions within Fallout 76 . It provides members with access to three Nuclear Sites and various other perks. While the organization does not openly recruit, making it challenging for novice players to join, there is a simple method to become a member early in the game and enjoy the associated benefits. This guide explains the recruitment process comprehensively.

Updated May 7, 2024 by Mohsen Baqery : Despite having over twenty active factions, Fallout 76 has one particularly intriguing organization: The Enclave. And as more players are venturing into Appalachia (thanks to the success of the Fallout show), there's a heightened interest in joining this enigmatic faction. In response, this post has been enhanced to delve deeper into the faction's background, whereabouts, and distinctive questlines.

Details are finally emerging around Fallout 76's Atlantic City DLC, and the new location is under the control of three distinct rival factions.

The Enclave is a pre-Great War military junta in Fallout 76 . Before the Great War, the faction was operated by military generals and the President of the United States, functioning as a pseudo-government. Following the war, the faction withdrew to a concealed bunker in Appalachia. Here, President Eckhardt assumed leadership, eliminating dissenters to solidify his control over the group.

After the demise of Eckhardt and his cohorts, the facility lay dormant until its AI system, MODUS, undertook its restoration. MODUS returned the interior of the Whitespring Congressional Bunker to its former state and sustained it through robotic maintenance. However, to revitalize the faction's operational divisions, MODUS required dwellers, prompting the Enclave's recruitment efforts in Fallout 76 .

To enlist in the Enclave, initiate the "Bunker Buster" quest . This mission starts when the player enters the Abandoned Waste Dump and finds the Operation Summary–Blackwell Holotape in the Cavern. After this objective, the player obtains the Bunker Access Card, granting access to the Enclave’s covert facility at the Whitespring Resort.

Within the Enclave’s bunker, the player encounters MODUS, the AI overseeing the facility following President Eckhardt. Engaging with this robot initiates the "One of Us" quest, leading to the player's formal induction into the Enclave. Subsequently, they gain clearance to enter restricted sections, including the Science, Medical, Military, and Production wings.

Start the Enclave questline by visiting the Abandoned Waste Dump . The dump is located south of Haven Church and northeast of Harpers Ferry and The Burrows. It’s an unmarked area that becomes a landmark only after the player discovers it. Here, the player will be given the "Bunker Buster" quest and later the "One of Us" mission, which eventually turns them into an Envlave member.

The following is a step-by-step guide to completing both missions successfully.

Bunker Buster: Find the Whitespring Bunker Card

The quest for joining the Enclave starts with the "Bunker Buster" mission.

  • Head to the Abandoned Waste Dump . It’s on the far east flank of the map.
  • Cross the fences and enter the Cavern .
  • Look for the Agent’s body . Keep turning left in the cave until a dead body shows up.
  • Grab the Operation Summary–Blackwell Holotape .
  • Search for the Deathclaw Nest in the cave.
  • Retrieve the Bypass Holotape from the nest.
  • Play the Bypass Holotape in the broken elevator.
  • Turn off the Laser Grid . Throw the circuit breaker in the laundry room, open the air flue above the generator, and activate the circuit conduit in the upstairs vents.
  • Locate the dead senator’s office .
  • Unlock the hidden safe . Log the numbers written on the scattered documents into the keypad until it accepts one.
  • Grab the Whitespring Bunker Card . It’s behind the painting of a ship.

Players with a level-3 Hacking Skill can disable the Laser Grid at the Whitespring Bunker without a manual system security reset.

One Of Us: Complete MODUS Missions

With the access card in hand, go to the Whitespring Resort and enter its bunker. Talk to the AI in charge, MODUS, and accept the new quests. These missions determine if the player deserves to join the Enclave. And here’s how to get them done.

  • Hack the SigInt system terminal . At the Signal Intelligence Base, take out the Protection Watchers and Robobrain Tacticians to reach the control room and insert the tape into the terminal.
  • Reconnect the Enclave satellite . Go to the National Radio Research Center’s roof and attach the satellite module to the panel. Finally, go back to the Whitespring Bunker and report to MODUS.

Once the "One of Us" mission is done, MODUS promotes the player to an official Enclave member and grants them access to other bunker sections.

After fixing the module during the MODUS’s satellite mission, don’t leave the roof immediately. Instead, wait for a meteor-like package to crash and loot it for two precious Beacons: Orbital Scan and Orbital Strike.

Enclave Quest Rewards

Upon joining the Enclave, players gain entry to classified areas within the Whitespring Congressional Bunker and acquire exclusive Enclave gear such as the Stealth Boy Mark III, Enclave Plasma Gun, and the Enclave officer uniform. Achieving the rank of Enclave General grants additional privileges, including the ability to launch nuclear strikes and acquire the X-01 Power Armor plans .

Ranking up to an Enclave General is straightforward. Complete the "Officer on Deck" quest at Camp McClintock and earn 10 Commendations afterward . A General has access to three Nuclear Silos (Site Charlie, Alpha, and Bravo) and can shop at the top-tier vendors of the Whitespring Bunker.

Players have four ways to earn Commendations: killing Legendary creatures, completing Extermination Operations, Robot Patrol missions, and Resource Drop tasks.

To rank up to Enclave General faster, farm Scorchbeasts at the Fissure Site Prime. This helps to earn the needed Commendations as quickly as possible.

After achieving the Enclave General status, go to the Armory at the Whitespring Bunker in the Military Wing. Turn on the Archival Terminal (the red computer), open the Schematic Archives, and read Prototype Power Armor Schematic . This file unlocks the X0-1 Power Armor , which can be crafted at a workbench.

Fallout 76's new update patch notes nerf one of its best Atlantic City weapons, but don't worry — it got some buffs, too

What you need to know.

A new patch for Fallout 76, Update Version 1.7.11.12, has been released and is available to download now on Xbox, PC, and PlayStation.

The update fixes a ton of various bugs, including one with one of the best weapons from the Atlantic City Expedition: the Cremator. There was an issue with its explosion damage calculation causing it to be overly powerful, and the resolution of it has technically nerfed the fiery heavy weapon.

However, Bethesda has buffed the Cremator in other ways to compensate for this, making its fire damage-over-time (DOT) "a force to be reckoned with."

The patch has also implemented some nice quality-of-life changes, and has made it possible for seasonal event crafting recipe duplicates to drop so that players can then trade with their fellow Vault dwellers. For the full patch notes, read on.

On the heels of last week's controversial next-gen update for Fallout 4 , Fallout 76 — Bethesda's MMO-style multiplayer take on the post-apocalyptic RPG series — has received a new patch that should actually make players pretty happy. It's available to install now on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Steam, and the Microsoft Store, and requires 23.1GB of storage on Xbox, 12.1GB on Steam, 19.8GB on the Microsoft Store, and 19.2GB on PlayStation.

The update largely consists of important bug fixes, including some major ones that take care of issues that were making it impossible for players to complete Atlantic City quests such as Sins of the Father, Buried Treasure, and Honor Bound. Notably, one such fix resolved an explosion damage calculation issue that was making the Cremator — a powerful heavy weapon that shoots explosive fireballs, and one of the best new weapons from March's Atlantic City - America's Playground update — "stronger than we [Bethesda] intended," nerfing the effectiveness of its burst damage.

Players with builds designed to make the most of the Cremator's bugged explosive power will no doubt be sad about this news, though the weapon should still be very strong since Bethesda has also "made multiple tweaks and changes to buff it in different ways." The developer didn't really go into specifics in the patch notes, but just know that the Cremator's fire damage-over-time (DOT) "should be a force to be reckoned with."

The patch also made a huge update to the way Fallout 76 handles seasonal event crafting recipes and some of their items. Previously, these wouldn't drop anymore after you got them once and couldn't be shared with other players, but now you can get duplicates and trade them to your fellow Vault dwellers. This should make it much easier to get your hands on recipes you're looking for for your builds, and also allows veteran players to help new ones with their unlock progression.

Some other quality-of-life additions in the update include a new "max" option you can select while buying or selling items to vendors, alphabetical World Activity sorting, a smoother inventory scrollbar, and an "ammo per shot" stat for weapons that shows how much ammo you'll consume each time you fire them. For the full patch notes, make sure you check out the section below.

Overall, this is a great update for Fallout 76, which has been thriving recently thanks to a Fallout player count resurgence brought about by the widely loved Fallout TV show . It's latest content addition was Atlantic City - America's Playground, a follow-up to Atlantic City - Boardwalk Paradise that takes players to the post-apocalyptic remains of Atlantic City and introduces the Russos, a family of peculiar mobsters that is, frankly, kind of a hot mess. The game itself is available for $40, though it's also playable on Xbox and PC with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate .

New Fallout release officially announced by Bethesda, and it's beautiful

Bethesda has unveiled the upcoming fallout s.p.e.c.i.a.l anthology and it’s a sight to behold..

Kate Harrold

Kate Harrold

If you’ve always longed to own the Fallout franchise in a snazzy little collector’s set, you’re in luck. Bethesda has unveiled the upcoming Fallout S.P.E.C.I.A.L Anthology and it’s a sight to behold.

Fallout is one of the industry’s most enduring IPs. From its isometric beginnings in the 1990s to the sprawling open world RPGs we see today, Fallout continues to innovate and evolve. It’s going to be quite some time until Fallout 5 drops into our laps. Bethesda is hard at work supporting Starfield - with the Shattered Space expansion set to drop later this year - with The Elder Scrolls VI being the next project in line. Fallout 5 is then due after this so could, unfortunately, be close to a decade away. In the meantime, Amazon’s Fallout adaptation premieres on 12 April. Fans can also enjoy the newly revealed S.P.E.C.I.A.L Anthology .

Take a look at Amazon’s Fallout adaptation in action below.

The S.P.E.C.I.A.L Anthology is set to launch on 11 April, to time up with the release of Amazon’s TV version - and you can pre-order it right now. The set includes seven games - Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout Tactics, Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition, Fallout: New Vegas - Ultimate Edition, Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition , and Fallout 76 - stored in a mini-nuke.

The main drawback about this set is that each game is presented as a PC code on seven collectible cards inspired by Fallout 76 ’s in-game perk cards. This means that, yes, there are no traditional physical game copies included. As for the mini-nuke case, it features an explosive sound effect but don’t worry. It’s just a sound effect.

Fallout S.P.E.C.I.A.L Anthology /

As for the cost, the Fallout S.P.E.C.I.A.L Anthology will set you back $60 which actually is a pretty good deal. That works out at around $8.57 per game, with the mini-nuke case thrown in on top. Grab it while you can, Fallout fans.

Soviet Union

  • View history

The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (commonly referred to as the Soviet Union or abbreviated as USSR or CCCP in Cyrillic [3] ), often referred to as just Russia or Soviet Russia , was a major communist [4] power existing before the Great War .

Background [ ]

In 1917, tsarist Russia underwent a revolution under the leadership of Vladimir Lenin , and became the first ever constitutionally socialist state. [5] This would be the basis for the eventual USSR. The Soviet Union fought in World War II on the side of the Allies, with Soviet tanks and troops capturing Berlin. [6] Later in the 20th century, the Soviet Union and fellow communist power China both contested the United States ' claim that American astronaut Captain Carl Bell was the first human in space aboard Defiance 7 . [7]

By the 21st century, China was considered a greater threat to the United States than the Soviet Union. However, the two communist powers [4] were considered natural allies [8] by the United States and thus a threat. After the outbreak of the Sino-American War , the possibility of a joint nuclear first strike by the USSR and China under orders from Chairman Cheng was considered as a viable option by defense analysts . [9] Russian human mutation experiments also "inspired" similar research efforts in America. [Non-game 1]

By 2077, relations between the United States and the Soviet Union improved. It was still considered a potential enemy among the U.S. military, [10] and corporate propaganda vilified the USSR as a land of forced labor camps, enforced austerity, and a source of spies trying to obtain national secrets. [8] Communist propaganda was also commonly broadcast to the United States, [5] [11] and Russians were commonly bundled together with the Chinese as the "Red Menace." [4]

However, relations were close enough that a Soviet diplomat from the Soviet Consulate in Los Angeles was accepted as a resident of Vault 13 , in the midst of the Sino-American War , and thus survived the Great War . [12] [Non-game 2]

Soviet citizens were also present in American organized crime. Boston crime boss Eddie Winter employed Russian hitman Aleksandr Strelnikov , and Lev immigrated to the United States prior to the war to prey upon the American public. [13] [14] [15]

Known locations [ ]

  • Chukchi Sea, Chukotka, and Gulf of Anadyr [16]
  • The Kremlin
  • Red Square [8]
  • Trans-Siberian Railway
  • In the Fallout 3 add-on Operation: Anchorage , General Jingwei 's shocksword has a symbol heavily resembling the Soviet hammer and sickle. [17]
  • Surkov -brand vodka , which can be found in Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 , was marketed as being imported directly from Russia. [18]
  • In Fallout 76 , the Camp McClintock Patriotism Training building has a sign with the Soviet hammer and sickle being stabbed. [1] A poster depicts a similar situation, with a voting booth replacing the knife. [19]
  • The Soviet Union is mentioned in Fallout Tactics : the Spetnaz , a Russian special forces unit, is mentioned in the description for the Scorpio submachine gun, and the AK47 explicitly names Soviet armies.
  • A crashed satellite bearing the Cyrillic letters CCCP (USSR in English) appears in Episode 2 of the Fallout TV series, potentially the first explicitly Soviet item to appear in the franchise.

Appearances [ ]

The Soviet Union is mentioned in Fallout , Fallout 3 , Fallout: New Vegas , Fallout 4 , Fallout 76 and its updates Wild Appalachia and Wastelanders , Fallout Tactics , and the Fallout TV series .

Behind the scenes [ ]

  • In the Origins of Fallout , R. Scott Campbell noted that, "The nuclear Armageddon in the back-story was between the US and China. After shipping several people asked me why China and not the old standby, the Soviet Union. I made the choice when I remembered experiences with Oleg, a Moscow developer I worked with months before when I was assistant-producing a typing game. Once, in the middle of a phone conversation, I heard some muffled bangs, and the phone went quiet. When I asked him what the noise was, he replied, 'Oh, it was just the Russian mob firing their guns in the street.' I thought he was joking – he wasn't. After that, I had a really hard time believing that the once mighty USSR would be in a position to threaten the world any time soon. So I turned to the next major communist country that typifies 'the East': China."
  • In Wild Appalachia , a top-secret Soviet spy ring was planned for inclusion. The player character would find a Soviet Mr. Handy and complete Mission: Accessible , a training program that would prepare them for secret operations for "Mother Russia." [Non-canon 1]
  • In the real world, Yuri Gagarin became the first human in space on April 12, 1961, and the Vostok 1 flight was completed with his safe return to Earth.
  • The country's remains were meant to appear in 14° East 's canceled Fallout Extreme , as the Cause made their way into China. The region would have been inhabited by Russian Cossacks. Locations in the game would have included abandoned oil refineries , Russian steppes villages , and a re-education colony .
