Day 02 Amritsar

After breakfast visit to Durgiana Temple, the temple of godess of power. You can also do shopping in old Amritsar Market for Ladies suites and Punjab Jutti(Traditional Punjab Shoes). Afternoon check out from the hotel and visit to Wagah Border to watch Flag Retreat Ceremony- Wagah, an army outpost on Indo-Pak border 30 Kms from Amritsar where the daily highlight is the evening "Beating the Retreat" ceremony. Soldiers from both countries march in perfect drill. As the sun goes down, nationalistic fervour rises and lights are switched on marking the end of the day amidst thunderous applause. Arrive Amritsar at Early morning 5:00 Am (overnight Journey from Delhi to Amritsar Boarding Delhi at 10 Pm on Volvo Bus). On arrive Amritsar meet and greet by our representative who will take you to the hotel. Start your city tour with the blessings of Golden Temple-the most important sikh shrine which is also called Mecca for Sikhs is a living symbol of the spiritual and historical traditions of the Sikhs, then visit Jallianwala Bagh-the place that reminds every Indian of the brutal and hearless massacre by British general Dyer. After lunch visit Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum- The summer place of Maharaja Ranjit Singh which is situated in the heart of Ram Bagh, Amritsar, Houses the Museum. In the evening enjoy shopping in market. Dinner at Brother Restaurant. Overnight stay at hotel in Amritsar.

The Famous and Backbone of this tour are GOLDEN TEMPLE some people called harmandir sahib. The soul of the city lies in the Golden Temple . Possibly the crux of the Amritsar sightseeing plan lays in visiting this place.

This architectural marvel is actually a small part of the wide. Known to the Sikhs as Harmandir Sahib, or as sometimes they refer to as Darbar Sahib, the temple sits on a rectangular platform encircled by a pool of water which is the Amrit Sarovar.

The temple was impeccably decorated with marble work and gold after receiving support from Hukam Singh Chimni and Maharaja Ranjit Singh. Open from 3 a.m. – 10 p.m. daily, The Guru Granth Sahib (Holy book of Sikhs) is chanted in the temple. Although there is no defined nightlife in the city, one can still go to the temple and feel the piousness of the place.

Day 1: Delhi - Chandigarh Sightseeing Pick from Delhi Railway station/Airport. After meet & greet services proceed to Chandigarh. Chandigarh is 260 approx kms from Delhi and about a 5-6 hours drive. Reach Chandigarh in the afternoon. After Lunch sees Rock Garden, Sukhna Lake, Rose Garden, Mansa Devi Temple. Overnight stay at Chandigarh Hotel.

Day 2: Chandigarh - Amritsar - Wagah Border After Breakfast at the hotel, Morning drive to Amritsar which is around 250 kms - a drive of about 4-5 hours passing through the green fields of Punjab. Reach Amritsar in the afternoon. Afternoon visit to Wagah Border - to see Indo-Pak Border closing ceremony and Amritsar city. Overnight stay at Amritsar hotel.

Day 3: Amritsar Sightseeing - Delhi After breakfast at hotel, early morning visit to Golden Temple - the famous Sikh Gurudwara, Jallianwala Bagh, colour Bazar of Amritsar for some shopping. Part Payment is applicable on total booking amount, where the package cost is greater than Rs 50000/-. It will be collected in 2 installments inclusive of GST. ✔ For Domestic/International Air Packages: - 1st payment for 30% amount, Final/ Balance payment for 70%. ✔ For All Other Packages: - 1st payment for 25% amount, Final/Balance payment for 75%.
If the due/final payment is not done within 30 days prior to departure date , then the request for the final payment would not be accepted & booking would be treated as cancelled & relevant cancellation charges would be applicable.
Partial cancellation of passengers is not allowed in part payment transactions.
For any cancellation and part/final payment days are counted excluding the date of departure.
Tour confirmation number will only be generated after receipt of total package cost by IRCTC.
Only Full cancellation is allowed on the above transactions with applicable cancellation charges.
