Barcelona Airport (BCN)

Barcelona Airport Train

Barcelona International Airport (BCN) › Transportation › Train

The R2 Nord Train Line from El Prat Airport

The R2 Nord Line  connects BCN Airport to the city of Barcelona. With a 30-minute frequency, the suburban train needs approximately 20-25 minutes to reach the city center. Departing from El Prat airport train station, it ends its journey to Maçanet-Massages, passing through Granollers Center.

The R2 Line is divided into 3 sublines. However, only the R2 Nord offers a straight connection to the city. On the other hand, the R2 and the R2 Sud Lines don’t stop at the Airport Train Station. Therefore, passengers on those lines need to transit to R2 Nord at El Prat, Bellvitge, Barcelona-Sants, or at the Passeig de Gràcia Station.

Finally, a new AVE high-speed train and a commuter train are expected to be added soon to the existing airport’s transportation system.

The R2 Nord Time Schedule from BCN Airport

The R2 Nord Line departs every 30 minutes from the Airport Train Station and reaches the metropolitan area of Barcelona in about 20-25 minutes. The first train leaves the Aeroport Station at 5:42 am, while the last train is scheduled to depart at 11:38 pm.

Our Tip : Although the R2 Nord train’s frequency is efficient, you should keep in mind that delays may always occur.

Barcelona Airport Train Station

The train station at Barcelona Airport is conveniently located 200m outside terminal building 2. In fact, the train station and the T2 are connected via an overpass, equipped with escalators and elevators for persons with disabilities or passengers with heavy luggage. All in all, you’ll need approximately 5 minutes to traverse the distance from the baggage claim to the train stop while you’ll be adequately navigated in the meanwhile by the airport’s signage.

Are you landing at BCN T1? The two terminal buildings are linked via a free shuttle bus, departing every 5-10 minutes, depending on the time of the day. The journey from one terminal to the other lasts about 10 minutes. The bus stop at T1 is just outside the terminal building, whereas T2 free shuttle bus stop is located underneath the footbridge. Note that the free shuttle buses run 24/7, are green, and therefore easily distinguished from the public buses connecting the airport to Barcelona city center.

The R2 Nord Line Tickets from Barcelona Airport

BCN Airport belongs to zone 4 of the RENFE network and is part of zone 1 of the TMB network (bus and metro network). Thus, a one-way ticket from the airport to the city of Barcelona costs 4.60€/4.60$ for an adult passenger. Children under 4 years old travel for free. There are numerous automatic vending machines at the airport, accepting both cash and credit cards. Their use is simple enough. Nevertheless, the airport’s staff is always to be found nearby to assist passengers.

Are you planning on using public transportation during your stay? Forget all about the single train tickets and opt for the T-casual aeroport ticket, which will allow you to use any means of public transport within Barcelona zone 1 for 10 journeys, paying only 7.95€/7.95$. Furthermore, you should also take into consideration the Hola Barcelona Travel Pass, which gives you the possibility to use public transportation as many times as you want, for 48, 72, 96, or 120 hours in a row respectively.

Which Barcelona Train Station Should be your Destination?

The R2 Nord line makes 21 stops during the route from the Airport to Maçanet-Massanes. However, not even one of them is actually located in the heart of Barcelona. Thus, which train station should be your disembarkation point?

  • Barcelona-Sants : This is the main train station and the station you should choose if you are heading to Plaça Espanya and Montjuic or if you are planning to travel to another Spanish area.
  • Passeig de Gràcia : The perfect choice if your destination is in the city center and in the Eixample area. It is also connected to numerous metro lines.
  • El Clot-Aragó: This station mainly serves the areas of Poblenou and Clot. The north part of Eixample is also easily accessible via this station.
  • Estació de França: This train station is nearby numerous museums and places of interest (Picasso Museum, Museu d’Història de Catalunya, Aquarium, etc.), as well as near Barceloneta.

Is there a train from Barcelona Airport to the city centre?

The R2 Nord Train connects BCN Airport to the city of Barcelona, departing every half hour from the airport station. The journey lasts approximately 25 minutes, depending on the final station in Barcelona downtown.

Is there a train station at Barcelona Airport?

BCN Airport Train Station lies just outside the T2, near the car park. The station is linked to the terminal building via a pedestrian bridge. Overall, the time needed to traverse the distance from the area of baggage claim to the train station is 5 minutes.

How much is the train from Barcelona Airport to the city centre?

A one-way ticket from El Prat Airport to the city center costs 4.60€/4.60$. However, with the T-casual aeroport ticket, you can use 10 times any public means of transport inside Barcelona zone 1, paying 7.95€/7.95 $. Moreover, the Hola Barcelona Travel Pass is of your interest if you intend to frequently use Barcelona’s public transportation.

Train travel UK & Ireland...

Train travel in europe..., train travel in asia..., train travel in africa..., train travel in america..., train travel in australasia, getting around tunisia by train.

The Tunisian Railways (SNCFT) are the best way to travel between Tunis, Sousse, El Jem, Sfax and Gabès.  There is also a branch line from Sousse to Monastir & Mahdia, and several other routes.  Trains are comfortable and air-conditioned.

small bullet point

On other pages

Useful country information, tunis to carthage & marsa.

A standard-gauge light railway called the TGM (Tunis-La Goulette-Marsa) links Tunis city centre, La Goulette (for the ferry terminal to Marseille and Genoa), Carthage (for the ancient ruins & Byrsa Hill) and Marsa Plage.  Departures are at frequent intervals from 04:00-00:50 and the fare about 1.25 dinars in 1st class (£0.50) or 0.8 dinars (UK £0.30).  The TGM is run by Tunis Transport Authority Transtu , www.transtu.tn .

Tunis to Sousse, Sfax, Gabès

Tunisian trains have 3 classes of accommodation:  2nd class, 1st class and Classe Confort , although modern railcars delivered in 2008 have just one class, called Express .  2nd class is perfectly adequate, 1st class very comfortable.  Classe Confort is very similar to 1st class, but with even more space, as seats are arranged 2+1 rather than 2+2 across the car width, see the photos below .  The overnight trains have no sleeping berths, just seats.

Check the latest train times at the SNCFT website, www.sncft.com.tn - click the UK flag, the English version finally works!

x =  regular electric trains link Sousse Bab Jedid station (13-minute 1km walk from Sousse Ville) with Monastir & Mahdia every half-hour or so through the day.

C12 = Air-conditioned rapide with Classe Confort and 1st & 2nd class seats, see the photos below .

Ex = Modern air-conditioned express railcar with Express Class seating, see the photos below .

Au = Autorail = railcar with 1st & 2nd class.

Sousse Ville is in central Sousse.

Sousse Kalaâ Séghira is 7.6 km (4.8 miles) west of Sousse, easily reached from Sousse by louage (shared taxi), see map showing station .

Bir Bou Rekba is 5.7 km (3.5 miles) from the popular resort town of Hammamet, see map showing station .

How to check the latest train times

The SNCFT (Tunisian Railways) website is www.sncft.com.tn .  Click the UK flag for English.  There's a journey planner on their home page, or click TRAVELLER TRANSPORT then Train schedules to get timetable in .pdf form for all the main routes.

How much does it cost?

£1 = approx 3.8 Dinars.   €1 = 3.1 Dinars.

Children aged 0 to 3 travel free, children 4 to 9 travel at 75% of the adult fare, children 10 and over pay full fare.

Return tickets are available with a discount of 15% over the cost of two one-way tickets, good for up to 10 days.

It has not been possible to update these prices as fares are no longer shown on the SNCFT website.  Use as a rough guide only.

How to buy tickets

Tickets between principle stations (Tunis, Sousse, Sfax, Gabès) can be booked online through reliable agency Bookaway, www.bookaway.com

Alternatively, it's easy to book Tunisian rail tickets at the station in Tunis.  Bookings only open 3 days in advance, so don't worry about pre-booking before you get to Tunisia, there's no need and it's not possible online.

What are the trains like ?

The express railcars ..., other train routes..., tunis to bizerte.

98km, journey time 2h50, 2nd class only.  Departures from Tunis at 16:35 weekends, 17:45 weekdays.  Departures from Bizerte at 05:00 Monday-Saturday, 06:00 Sundays & holidays.  See www.sncft.com.tn .

Tunis to Kalaâ Kasbah

A train leaves Tunis at 06:35 daily arriving at Kalaâ Kasbah 11:47.  Returning, a train leaves Kalaâ Kasbah at 13:10 arriving Tunis 18:25.  See www.sncft.com.tn .

There is no railway station at Kairouan, but regular SNTRI buses run from Sousse to Kairouan taking 1½ hours, and from Tunis to Kairouan every hour taking 2¼ hours.  There are also shared taxis (louages) from Sousse to Kairouan about every 30 minutes throughout the day.

Railpasses : Carte Bleue

Tunisian Railways offer an excellent Carte Bleue railpass for 7, 15 or 21 days for unlimited travel in 1st class, 2nd class or classe confort .

Prices for a 7-day pass are around 40 dinars 2nd class, 56 dinar 1st class, 60 dinar classe confort.  Prices for a 15-day pass are twice the 7-day price, 21-day prices are three times the 7-day price.  However, latest prices do not appear on the SNCFT website, so feedback would be appreciated .

Although the pass gives you unlimited travel, you still need to pay a small air-conditioning supplement for travel on any air-conditioned train, which means almost all the long-distance ones.  In 2nd class the supplement is 0.7 dinar for up to 100km, 0.9 dinar for 101-160km, 1.4 dinar for 161-300km and 1.8 dinar for over 300km.  Just pay this supplement at the ticket office before making each journey using the pass.

Carte Bleue railpasses can be bought at Tunisian railway stations.  Officially, you need a passport-sized photo to buy these railpasses, but reports suggest that a passport is sufficient as they then write your passport number over the photo square.  Feedback appreciated !  The pass covers all mainline SNCFT trains, but not the Tunis-Carthage TGM light railway or the Tunis tram system.

Lézard Rouge tourist train

A privately-run tourist train called the Lézard Rouge runs from Metlaoui to the Gorges de Selja, a 40 minute, 43 km ride through spectacular scenery.

It runs from 1 May to 30 September, daily except Saturdays, departing Metlaoui at 10:00 on Tues, Thurs & Sun or 10:30 on Mon, Wed & Fri, arriving at Gorges de Selja 40 minutes later, departing Gorges de Selja after a 20 minute stop and arriving Metlaoui 45 minutes later, total trip length around 1h45.

The fare is 20 dinar for adults, 12.50 dinars for children under 10, children under 4 free.

For information go to www.sncft.com.tn , click the UK flag for English then Idea of Discovery at the top then Products then Lézard rouge .  Now repeat this process in the French version of their site to get to the French language page for the Lézard rouge as this has much more useful information including departure times!

Update :  In spite of the info on the SNCFT website, it's reported that the Lézard Rouge is not in fact operating at the moment.  Further feedbackalways appreciated .

International links

Ferries from tunisia to europe.

Comfortable cruise ferries link Tunis with Marseille & Genoa (several weekly) and Tunis with Sicily (once per week).  See the London to Tunisia page .

Tunisia to/from Algeria

Trains no longer operate across the border, but you can take a train several times a day from Tunis to Ghardimaou (Tunis to Ghardimaou takes 3h15, 4 trains per day) which is the closest town to the Algerian border, just 11.4 km from it.  See www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice for travel advice on Algeria.  See www.sncft.com.tn for train times to Ghardimaou.

For train travel in Algeria, see the Algeria page .

Tunisia to/from Morocco

Although the French colonial government built a railway from Tunis through Algeria to Morocco, trains no longer operate across the borders, only within each country.  See www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice for travel advice on Algeria.  The border between Algeria & Morocco is currently closed, so it's not possible to travel overland between Tunisia and Morocco.  But you can take a train several times a day from Tunis to Ghardimadou which is the closest town to the Algerian border

Tunisia to/from Libya & Egypt

Although the border is open and there are bus services (but no trains) across Libya from the Tunisian border to the Egyptian border, the Libyan government does not grant visas to independent travellers, only to visitors on organised tours or whose travel is organised by a recognised Libyan tour agency.

Hotels in Tunisia

Personal recommendation....

The Hôtel Majestic on the main Avenue de Paris in Tunis has the best French colonial facade in town and is a great place to stay, see www.booking.com/hotel/tn/majestic.en.html .  It was closed for refurbishment for a while, but has now reopened in 2011.  It's comfortable and central, and rooms with en suite facilities cost around £20 per night.

Click the images to buy online at Amazon.co.uk

The European Rail Timetable  has train, bus and ferry times for every country in Europe, It costs around £15.99 from www.europeanrailtimetable.eu .

Travel insurance & VPN

Always take out travel insurance.

Never travel overseas without travel insurance from a reliable insurer, with at least £1m or preferably £5m medical cover.  It should also cover cancellation and loss of cash and belongings, up to a sensible limit.  An annual multi-trip policy is usually cheaper than several single-trip policies even for just 2 or 3 trips a year, I have an annual policy with Staysure.co.uk myself.  Here are some suggested insurers.  Seat61 gets a small commission if you buy through these links.

UK flag

Get an eSIM with mobile data package

Don't rely on WiFi, download an eSIM with a mobile data package for the country you're visiting and stay connected.  Most newer mobile phones can download a virtual SIM card so you don't need to buy a physical SIM, including iPhone 11 & later, see device compatibility list .  Maya.net is a reliable eSIM data retailer with a 4.5 out of 5 Trustpilot rating and a range of packages including unlimited data .

Get a Curve card for foreign travel

Most banks give you a poor exchange rate, then add a foreign transaction fee on top.  A Curve MasterCard means no foreign transaction fees and gives you the mid-market exchange rate, at least up to a certain limit, £500 per month at time of writing.  The money you spend on your Curve card goes straight onto one of your existing debit or credit cards.

How it works:   1. Download the Curve app for iPhone or Android .  2. Enter your details & they'll send you a Curve MasterCard - they send to the UK and most European addresses.  3. Link your existing credit & debit cards to the app, you can link up to two cards with the free version of Curve, I link my normal debit card and my normal credit card.  4. Now use the Curve MasterCard to buy things online or in person or take cash from ATMs, exactly like a normal MasterCard. Curve does the currency conversion and puts the balance in your own currency onto whichever debit or credit card is currently selected in the Curve app.  You can even change your mind about which card it goes onto, within 14 days of the transaction.

I have a Curve Blue card myself, it means I can buy a coffee on a foreign station on a card without being stung by fees and lousy exchange rates, just by tapping the Curve card on their card reader.  The money goes through Curve to my normal debit card and is taken directly from my account (in fact I have the Curve card set up as payment card on Apple Pay on my iPhone, so can double-click my phone, let it do Face ID then tap the reader with the phone - even easier than digging a card out).  I get a little commission if you sign up to Curve, but I recommend it here because I think it's great.  See details, download the app and get a Curve card , they'll give you £5 cashback through that link.

Get a VPN for safe browsing.  W hy you need a VPN

When you're travelling you often use free WiFi in public places which may not be secure.  A VPN encrypts your connection so it's always secure, even on unsecured WiFi.  It also means you can select the geographic location of the IP address you browse with, to get around geoblocking which a surprising number of websites apply.  See VPNs & why you need one explained .  ExpressVPN is a best buy with a 4.7 out of 5 Trustpilot ranking which I use myself - I've signed up as an ExpressVPN affiliate, and if you go with expressvpn.com using the links on this page, you should see a special deal, 3 months free with an annual subscription.  I get a small commission to help support this site.

Carry an Anker powerbank

Tickets, reservations, vaccination records and Interrail or Eurail passes are often held digitally on your mobile phone, so it's vital to keep it charged.  I always carry an Anker powerbank which can recharge my phone several times over if I can't get to a power outlet.  Buy from Amazon.co.uk or from Buy from Amazon.com .

How to get to Suzdal from Moscow

el travel orari

If you are ever in Moscow, you should look at The Golden Ring , a ring of towns and cities north east of Moscow which played an important part in the formation of Russia and the Russian Orthodox Church. The towns themselves are almost like museums and none more so than the jewel of the Golden Ring, Suzdal . You have to visit this town if you are in Moscow and I will tell you exactly how to get to Suzdal from Moscow.

You can do this in a return day trip to Moscow, just, but I recommend staying the night in Suzdal. That will give you the afternoon on the 1st day and the morning and early afternoon on the 2nd day to explore which should be enough time. You can get a bus from Moscow to Suzdal. However, there is only one bus a day and it is not very comfortable. A better option is to get a train to the nearby city of Vladimir and from there get a bus to Suzdal. There are multiple trains every day from Moscow and buses are almost every 30 minutes so you will not have to wait long in Vladimir.

Getting the train to Vladimir

Go to the state run website for Russian railways . In the departure station, click (or type) ‘MOSKVA’, in the arrival station type ‘VLADIMIR”, select your departure date (and return if you will go back to Moscow the next day) and click on the buy ticket button. You will have multiple trains to choose from. The fastest trains do the journey in about 1 hour 45 minutes. Be sure to check which of the Moscow train stations your train will depart from. More than likely this will be Mockva Kurskaia. Whichever station it is, you can get there very easily by using the metro .

Getting Bus from Vladimir to Suzdal

When you arrive at the train station, follow everyone else that is leaving the train station. When you get outside, if you look across the street, you will see the bus station. The facilities in the bus and train station are pretty basic. the train station is a little better so if you want a coffee or something to eat, I would get it there.

In the bus station go to the ticket office and get a single ticket to Suzdal. Something like “odin billet Suzdal” should be enough to be understood. The ticket costs 98.50 rubles so its easier to have a 100 ruble note to get change from.

When you have your ticket, go outside to the platform listed on the ticket and wait for the bus. Simple really!

Not the actual bus in the end. The bus was more of a minivan.

Staying the night in Suzdal

There are a lot of accommodation options available in Suzdal. The place i stayed is Suzdal Hotel . It is actually a house and they have a few rooms available. The breakfast that is included is very very good. Trust me on this. They will even collect you from the bus station in Suzdal and bring you back the next day.

Returning to Vladimir (and Moscow)

To return to Vladimir, just repeat these steps in the opposite direction – return to the bus station in Suzdal, buy a ticket to Vladimir and continue your onward journey in Russia. Simples! 😉

I went to Suzdal over 13years ago for Christmas, I was on an on the go tour and they organised the train for us which was a very interesting journey. I would love to go back and explore longer. I am definitely impressed that you have done it on your own and it sounds like you had a bit of an adventure :).

el travel orari

Hi Melissa, it certainly was an adventure that’s for sure! Though sometimes, there is something to be said for letting other people take care of things for you and getting to relax and not be too stressed.

Moscow is a place with an intriguing and enigmatic history. Suzdal seems to be a charming place with a rich heritage. As you have mentioned it seems to be a living museum of sorts. Nice step by step instruction on getting to Suzdal from Moscow. This is indeed an invaluable resource for first-time travelers to Russia.

Thank you very much for your kind words. I hope some people find it useful!

' src=

Thanks for recommending the Suzdal Hotel, since I prefer to stay in small cozy places with good breakfast. And the service of taking the guests from and to the bus station in Suzdal is a great plus!

Yeah I agree. I would rather stay in a family type place than a bigger place too!

' src=

I have never heard of this town and it sounds like a great place to visit if you are already in Moscow. Your instructions are very helpful and I like how you put a photo of the ticket.

You’re welcome Candy. If you don’t speak the language, Russia can be difficult to get around.

Michael Hodgson

Fantastic detail and extremely useful post for anyone wanting to explore outside of Moscow. Suzdal does sound fascinating.

Thanks Michael!

' src=

This seems like quite an experience! I am surprised that I haven’t heard of Suzdal before but as soon as I go to Moscow, I will have to do a day trip to there. Is a day trip enough to explore Suzdal?

Hey Lydia, you certainly can! If you go early enough in the day to Vladimir, you can probably get 6-7 hours in Suzdal.

' src=

This is a great post with quite a few good details. Pics looks so amazing. Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work.

Thanks. Glad you enjoyed!

' src=

Wow, you are adventurous! I spent years upon years in Russia and never made it to Suzdal. Never realized Vladimir was less than 2 hrs away from Moscow.

Thanks Jenia. Russia is a huge place. You could live there your entire life and not see it all!

' src=

Thanks for the instructions. If I ever want to visit Suzdal I now know how to get there from Moscow via Vladimir.

You’re welcome!

Suzdal sounds really lovely! I need to travel to more places where there will be snow rather than just constantly chasing the sun 😉

I know what you mean! After 4 months of winter in Russia though, I was craving the sun so much!

' src=

I had never heard of Suzdal until now. Thank you for introducing me to a new place. It looks so calm and quiet under the snow. What are some things to do in Suzdal?

I think it is the sort of place you go to get away from the craziness of big cities and have some slower, quiet time. If my memory is correct, they also have a cucumber festival once a year every July. Apparently the cucumbers of the area are very good!

Ticket prices for the Trans-Siberian Railway also depend on the current ruble exchange rate.

Is the Trans-Siberian Railway expensive?

Before starting on your Trans-Siberian Railway adventure you naturally want to know what the entire trip will cost. Although this sounds like a simple question, it is pretty difficult to answer. The Trans-Siberian Railway price of travel depends on the following factors:

  • Which travel class do I want to use? The price for a first class ticket is about three times the price of a 3rd class ticket
  • Am I willing to buy the tickets myself and assume responsibility for the organisation of the trip?
  • How many stopovers do I want to make? The more breaks, the higher the total price.
  • What sort of accommodation do I want? Will it be a luxury hotel or will a hostel dormitory be sufficient?
  • What tours and excursions would I like to go on?
  • What is the current exchange rate for rubles?

Basically, everything from a luxury to a budget holiday is available. If you buy yourself a 3rd Class nonstop ticket at the counter, a few hundred Euros will cover the price. All you will experience is a week on the Trans-Siberian train and will see nothing of the cities on the way. There is, however, any amount of room for upward expansion. Everyone makes different choices about which aspects they are willing to spend money on. I personally prefer to save money on accommodation and railcar class, visit as many cities and do as many trips as possible. To enable better classification of your travel expenses I have contrasted two typical traveler types. In the third column you can calculate the total cost of your own journey on the Trans-Siberian Railway. Please keep in mind that these are only rough estimations and not exact prices.

The all-in costs seem fairly high at first. However, they cover everything and it is quite a long journey taking four weeks. Many people forget to consider that when looking at the list. We should also deduct the running costs for food and leisure at home. I think most visitors to this page will classify themselves somewhere between the two categories, that is around the € 2,000 – € 2,500 range. When comparing these prices with other travel packages, you get the impression that it is hardly worthwhile travelling individually on the Trans-Siberian Railway. Please keep in mind that most packages last no more than 14 days and you are herded like cattle through the most beautiful locations.

If you spend less time on the Trans-Siberian Railway you will, of course, pay less. I chose this particular travel length because I prefer not to do things by halves. If you fulfill your dream of travelling on the Trans-Siberian Railway, enjoy it and don’t rush things. But it’s up to you, of course. Try playing around with the form a bit to find the appropriate price for your trip.

High Winds warning for El Paso County in effect

Update: monday 5/6/2024 11:05 a.m..

The Colorado Springs Airport tells FOX21 News that while there have not been any major impacts due to the wind there have been a few delays. COS recommends any travelers check the status of their flight ahead of travel on www.flycos.com .

The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo (CMZoo) delayed opening due to a power outage in the area. CMZoo tells FOX21 that there have been no reported animal injuries or damage to habitats or facilities. CMZoo has reopened and will be open till 5 p.m. today.

MONDAY 5/6/2024 9:56 a.m.

(EL PASO COUNTY, Colo.) — The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning for El Paso County that will be in effect until noon on Monday, May 6. The Pikes Peak Regional Office of Emergency Management (PPROEM) said winds are expected to reach up to 80 mph.

PPROEM said there is the possibility of localized gusts of up to 100 mph along east-facing slopes. Those living in El Paso County should expect downed trees and power lines, power outages, and difficult travel conditions, especially those with high-profile vehicles. PPROEM is recommending people avoid travel and stay indoors if possible.

Non-emergency downed trees can be reported to (719) 385-7623 within Colorado Springs city limits and those outside of city limits can call (719) 520-6460. If there is a threat to life or a power line is involved contact 911.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office (EPSO) said its civil front office, concealed handgun permit, and sex offender registry services are closed due to a power outage. EPSO said emergency services including patrol, 911 communications center, and jail are fully operational.

Multiple school districts are also reporting closures due to the power outages, with a few having changed from two-hour delays to closures, check FOX21’s Closings and Delays page for more information.

The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said it and Colorado Springs Utilities (Springs Utilities) are aware of the power outages throughout Colorado Springs and are asking the public not to call 911 to report an outage.

Springs Utilities said that traffic intersections may be without power and to treat any intersection as a four-way stop.
