Logic, born January 22nd 1990 is a rapper from Maryland, USA. In the last five years, he has built up a loyal Internet following, and is signed to Visionary Music Group and Def Jam Recordings.

Sir Robert Bryson Hall II, better known by his pseudonym, Logic, was born in Gaithersburg, Maryland. He comes from humble beginnings, and didn’t graduate from high school. He began skipping classes in the tenth grade, when he started to do badly in every class. He was later expelled, but he used his new found free time to pursue his music career in full force.

At the young age of 13, Logic met his mentor, Solomon Taylor. When he was sixteen, Taylor brought him a bundle of CDs with beats on to write over. At the time, he was going by the name “Psychological” which is a word that he really identified with, and released an unofficial mixtape entitled “Psychological: The Mixtape” A couple of years on, and Logic opened for Pitbull, Ludacris and Method Man at a show in Maryland. Shortly after, he decided to go by the name Logic instead.

On Decemeber 17th 2010, Logic released his first official mixtape entitled “Young, Broke and Infamous”, and two music videos alongside it for “Stain in the Game” and “Backpack”. It caught the attention of Chris Zarou, who wanted Logic to be a part of his upstart independent record label Visionary Music Group. It was his second mixtape “Young Sinatra” that really caught the attention of the masses, with songs such as “All I Do” and “Prime”. The “All I Do” video was the first video for Logic to reach over a million views on YouTube. By this point he had started a fire so big that it caught the attention of Def Jam, he took the next step in his career by signing with them, and on May 7th 2013, Logic released his fourth official mixtape, “Young Sinatra: Welcome to Forever”, which reached 100,000 downloads in 24 hours. He embarked on a tour with Kid Cudi, Big Sean and Tyler, the Creator on “The Cud Life Tour 2013”.

Most recently, on September 15th 2014, Logic released a singled called “Under Pressure” which he declared was the title track of an album that he released on October 21st 2014.

Live reviews

I can’t think of many rappers who have the title of ‘Sir’ before their name, and this is one of the many things that makes Sir Robert Bryson Hall II stand out from the crowd. Logic initially gained a large internet following, before releasing his critically acclaimed mix tape Young Sinatra: Welcome Forever. Making a break through YouTube is an incredible challenge, and a real reflection of Logic’s rapping talent.

Logic is an incredible performer. He flawlessly flows through his beats and tunes, never slipping up or missing a lyric. Speaking of which, the powerful lyrics of this tracks really come to life in a live performance, and resonate even more deeply with the audience when you can hear it first hand. When he sang Walk On By, he had the crowd joining in and going crazy. He really knows how to motivate a crowd and get them on his side. I completely lost track of time, and the concert flew by. I would say, if you get the chance to see him, make sure it’s a long set!

I’m absolutely gutted that I saw him before the release of his epic debut album just this month, but that’s as good a reason as any for me to go back and see the genius perform again.

Chase Center SF 10/13/19 - Great show!! If you're at all concerned about his slow, jazzy, self-reflective numbers, don't be! The show was 100% energy. He ripped through his up tempo, rapid fire flow hits. Too many rappers won't do that fast rap live, Logic not only does it live, he does it every song. He even did the first half of his Homicide verse 5 or 6 times in a gimmick to get the audience jumping. Really fun show. YBN Cordae and JID opened, both were cool and fun to watch. Each came out for a song during Logic's set and you could really see the difference in how Logic completely commanded the stage. A little stiff and scripted with his crowd interaction, but seemed very genuine. Not a fan of huge venues (although the Chase Center is spectacular) but would see Logic again in a heartbeat.

Logic was great!! The other headliner sings about screwing girls in a pretty misogynistic way, but Logic just spreads peace, love, and positivity. He was super energetic and got the crowd pumped up. He produced new beats on stage which was awesome and he brought out his notebook where he had written new lyrics to perform for us. So humbling to witness the process in addition to the product! I would love to see him at a smaller venue where he could really connect with the crowd. Also, it's so cool to hear him rap at ridiculously fast paces. He's got superb talent and you should listen to his stuff and then go to his shows and experience the awe that comes with witnessing this amazing performer.

Best show I've been to! The vibes were amazing and everyone was truly there for the music. Logic is all about peace, love, and positivity and he brings that to the stage. He really loves his fans and encouraged everyone to treat each other like family. He gave shout outs to young kids in the crowd and even brought a couple girls on stage to rap with him.

Someone in the middle of the crowd got hurt and he immediately stopped the music and everything and had everyone clear a path and the security team carried the guy out to safety within seconds.

Support this amazing artist and get your tickets. I will never miss a Logic show!!

It was awesome! A lot of people got there pretty early to start lining up. It didn't take too long to see him perform and even if it did, it was worth it! When they let us in, they played the live recording of Jimmy Kimmel, and after that, some guy came out to get us hyped up. The music started playing and it went over like twice so the cameras can record good shots and footage from different angles. Once Logic came out, everyone was so hyped! He performed extra songs after the ones he needed to do for the show. He talked to us separately and preached good shit. He's a great artist and a great individual.

This is my second concert, but my first hip-hop concert. I was blown away and I feel like it didn't even happen.

Logic has so much energy and he relates to his fans . I will never forget this experience. He looked up at me and asked my name and age. Then shouted me out to the whole audience and everyone started to scream .

This is one of the best concerts I have been to and I will definitely go again as VIP . Also Ansel Elgort was there . I saw him, but I didn't know it was him , he was just in the audience .

Logic is the best and I hope he never stops doing what he is doing .

I went to see Logic quite a while back in January and the Rave in Milwaukee WI, and it was one of the best experiences in my life. The down to earth sensation you get from Logic as a whole is so rare to find among the hip hop community and I was honored to even be in the same room as him. Not only was Logic amazing, but Micheal Christmas opened for him and now he is defiantly one of my favorite people. If you ever get the opportunity to go see Logic I definitely recommend it, and can't wait until he tours again.

Logic I dont even know if words can describe how good he was , but I will try . His performance hands down was amazing , outstanding such a great performer. He went down the stage just to shake a little kids hand, he was so humble and nice to him it melted my heart & everyone else who was at power house. Logic is not just a great performer but also a good person from heart ! Always gonna be a logic fan ! So worth going to see and being front row would be so worth it.

absolutely amazing. the environment was so positive. everyone in there was going crazy even some people on the balcony were going crazy. And Logics performance was like nothing I've ever seen before;absolutely amazing. And the best thing about it was that he was interacting with his fans in the crowd also. he made it feel like we were all really family like he said. loved all of it. Also his dj's set was so much fun. if you weren't there you should've been there.

Logic Announces San Diego Show

Grammy-nominated rapper logic brings his summer tour through san diego in july, by dustin lothspeich • published march 13, 2018 • updated on march 13, 2018 at 11:44 am.

San Diego, your day just got more logical: Chart-topping rapper Logic brings his just-announced "Bobby Tarantino vs. Everybody Tour" through Chula Vista's Mattress Firm Amphitheatre on Tuesday, July 24.

Tickets for the San Diego show (featuring openers NF and Kyle) go on sale to the general public via ticket outlets on Friday, March 16, at noon PST ( here's the Live Nation link ). There will also be various presales available for Spotify, Ticketmaster, Live Nation, and Citi members set to go on sale on March 14-15. Contact your presale partner of choice for more info.

The March 13 tour announcement comes on the heels of the release of "Bobby Tarantino II," the multi-Grammy-nominee's most recent mixtape. That album (which got officially announced on March 7 by none other than "Rick & Morty" in a short animated video ) is set to debut atop the Billboard 200 albums chart.

That follows a whirlwind of the last couple years for the rapper, born Sir Robert Bryson "Bobby" Hall II. His 2014 debut studio album, "Under Pressure," hit No. 4 on the Billboard charts, and last year's "Everybody" album debuted at No. 1. That record spawned his first international top 10 single, "1-800-273-8255," a song about suicide prevention featuring Alessia Cara and Khalid. That single has since gone more than four-times platinum and earned two Grammy Award nominations. Earlier this year, he appeared on another smash hit, "Everyday," by EDM/producer Marshmello.

Bottom line: Logic's definitely on a roll, and he's heading this way. Don't miss out.

Thursday night at Gallagher Square behind PetCo Park in Downtown San Diego had everyone hyped as concert-goers got into their spots early, either on the field or jammed up against the barricade, for Logic's "College Park" tour featuring Juicy J of Three 6 Mafia fame. As guests entered the venue they received a very nice patch commemorating the tour's 22nd stop, and according to the concert poster, the 2nd to last stop on the cross country tour. They hit venues all across the nation starting in Madison, Wisconsin back on the 25th of May and ending June 30th in Phoenix, Arizona. And let's just say, that if Thursday night's performance was any indication of the 21 shows prior... people definitely got their money's worth out of the 33 year old lyrical genius from Gaithersburg, Maryland!

Before Logic hit the stage, Juicy J hopped on the mic, donning a look that fans of the horror film "Silence of the Lambs" would recognize instantly. Yup, you guessed it, he was wearing a version of the "hug me" jacket and mask combo that was made "movie" famous by Sir Anthony Hopkins. A killer look that made sense judging by the crowds response to the 11 song set featuring 5 of Three 6's big hits including, "Sippin On Some Syrup" and the crowd favorite "Slob On My Knob". I overheard several fans at the show saying "He KILLED it!! The vibe was definitely an interesting one as people in the crowd went from your "garden variety normal folks" to "Hip-Hop GaNgStErS" throwing their collective hands in the air, some of them holding their fingers in the shape of guns because you gotta complete the look right? "Wanksta's" aside, (geez there's a word I never thought I'd type out for a review) EVERYONE was having the time of their lives as they jammed out to Juicy's set.

The show paused for a bit as the set changed for Logic and when it was said and done, we were transported to the basement where he spent his early days writing lyrics and dreaming what was to be in the furure. One of the set pieces that was mentioned was the couch that Sir Robert Bryson Hall II, a.k.a Bobby Tarantino, a.k.a. Logic (amongst other names) slept on for quite some time while he was trying to "make it".

The 30+ song set was a mix of old and new, spanning his nearly decade long career in Hip-Hop. The crazy thing is that even with a set so vast, Logic's DJ was still able to come out play us a number of songs that were all bangers that DIDN'T make the almost 2 hour setlist! One of the hits that DID make it was his breakout (mainstream breakout anyway) single off the 2017 album "Everybody", called "1-800-273-8255". The anti-suicide track garnered "Young Sinatra" an 8x platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The song really grabs you by the heart as you listen to the lyrics that unfortunately many people can relate to.

Side Note: If you you're thinking about hurting yourself and need some help PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do everything you can to get it, because YOU MATTER! All you gotta do is text or call 988 and someone will do their very best to help you get through it. Life's rough out there friends and a lot of crazy shit happens, but just know that YOU ARE NOT ALONE OUT THERE!

During the show, Logic stopped to grab something from an audience member that was actually pretty dope. A fan made a crochet doll of Logic that he said was so cool that he was going to give it to his son. As a sign of his appreciation, Logic made sure that his tour manager saw the young lady so that she could be given 1 of every piece of merch that he had for sale that night. Which when I walked by the stand was quite a bit. TALK ABOUT A COME UP!

He stopped the show again shortly after that but for an entirely different reason. We had ourselves a case of D&D... NO, not Dungeons and Dragons, cause that would be super weird to have going on at a Hip-Hop show. The D&D I'm referring to was a fan being DRUNK & DISORDERLY. It got so bad to the point that Logic had to have him removed from the front row. As he was being carted off by security, you could hear Logic ordering the fully packed house... or field as it were, to "BOO THIS MAN!". I honestly thought this was a great decision and hopefully it would serve as a lesson to other people in the audience to (pretend I'm saying this in Samuel L. Jackson's voice) NOT ACT LIKE ASSHOLES WHEN PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO ENJOY A SHOW DAMMIT!

*Sorry no F-Bomb here lol!

Overall, I would highly recommend attending a live performance by Logic. It's even better if you get the chance to see him in a smaller venue, as there's no guarantee he will do another tour like this in the future. He put on a great performance and reminded us of all the great songs we may have forgotten we loved so much!

Logic Gives Tour of 16-Bedroom San Diego Mansion in ‘MTV Cribs’ Spoof

The walkthrough includes two in-home recording studios..

Less than a month ago, Logic dropped his eighth studio LP, the 17-track College Park , his first release as an independent artist. Now, he’s returned with a tour of his swanky San Diego pad in a faux MTV  Cribs installment.

The video opens with Logic greeting viewers at the door, sipping a cup of coffee. Among the impressive features dotted throughout the 16-bedroom house is a door that weighs no less than 1,000 lbs and art literally made out of gold.

Neil Young & Crazy Horse Open ‘Love Earth Tour’ With Jam-Heavy Night Of Classics [Videos]

When  Neil Young announced his tour with  Crazy Horse back in February, he didn’t announce much else. All fans really knew was that Young and his longtime on-and-off backing band would play 16 shows (since increased to 28) with  Willie Nelson ‘s son  Micah taking over guitar duties for  Nils Lofgren who is touring with Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band . Those who showed up to his tour opener on Wednesday in San Diego rolled the dice on what they might get, and they were rewarded for their faith with a night full of classic songs, a “new” verse on an old favorite, lengthy bouts of improvisation, and a solo acoustic interlude.

As the crew drew back a curtain to reveal the oversized amplifiers and road cases from the 1978  Rust Never Sleeps tour (H/T  Rolling Stone ), Young took the stage at the  Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre  alongside Nelson, drummer Ralph Molina , and bassist  Billy Talbot . Armed with Old Black, Young started the show off with a bang on a 14-minute version of “Cortez the Killer”. Amid the tight, heavily distorted jamming, Young unveiled a lost verse for the 1975  Zuma favorite which was left off the original recording because the studio console briefly lost power. Young recently stumbled upon the original lyrics and revealed earlier this month that audiences would hear the song as it was originally written.

“I floated on the water,” Young sang. “I ate that ocean wave/Two weeks after the slaughter/I was living in a cave/They came too late to get me/But there’s no one here to set me free/From this rocky grave/To that snowed-out ocean wave.”

Young and Crazy Horse delivered a one-two punch of classics by following up “Cortez the Killer” with “Cinnamon Girl”. After that came “Scattered (Let’s Think About Livin’)” from 1996’s  Broken Arrow , which proved the newest song played all night. The band dug deep for lengthy runs through “Down by the River” (15 minutes) and “Love and Only Love” (16 minutes), while between jams Young romped through “Don’t Cry No Tears”, “Everybody Knows This is Nowhere”, and “Powderfinger” with vigor unexpected from a near-octogenarian.

Following the lengthy “Love and Only Love”, Young eschewed his bandmates and strapped on his harmonica for a solo interlude. The acoustic-armed Young led singalongs on “Comes a Time”, “Heart of Gold”, and “Human Highway” before bringing the band back out to stomp through a finale of “Don’t Be Denied” and “Hey Hey, My My (Into the Black)”.

Neil Young & Crazy Horse return to Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre tonight, April 25th, for their second of two sold-out shows.  Check out some videos of the tour opener from Todd Norris below.

Grace Kim shot a 7-under 64 at Wilshire Country Club to take the first-round lead Thursday in the LPGA Tour’s JM Eagle LA Championship.

Playing in the morning session, the 23-year-old Australian capped her bogey-free round with a chip-in birdie on the par-3 18th.

“Well, I chunked my tee shot on the last hole 20 meters short and then I chipped it in it,” Kim said. “I think that’s pretty cool, in front of everyone.”

Maja Stark of Sweden, Sei Young Kim of South Korea and Chanettee Wannasaen of Thailand were a stroke back at 65. Stark finished second last week outside Houston in The Chevron Championship, two strokes behind top-ranked Nelly Korda.

“I was so tired when I got here,” Stark said. “I barely been practicing. Just did a little bit of what I needed to do. I feel like it’s kind of similar anyway because there are just some pins that you can’t go for just like at Chevron.”

Korda withdrew Monday, a day after her fifth victory in a row.

Grace Kim won the LOTTE Championship last year in a playoff in Hawaii for her first LPGA Tour title. She missed the cut in The Chevron, shooting 76-72.

“If I was to compare my round today to last week, I really focused on just not having too much in my mind,” she said. “I think I over-thought a lot of things through my first and second round last week and struggled a little bit mentally.”

Sei Young Kim had four straight birdies on Nos. 12-15 in her afternoon round. She won the last of her 12 LPGA Tour titles in 2020.

Auston Kim, Haeran Ryu and Nataliya Guseva shot 66, and defending champion Hannah Green matched Amy Yang and Bianca Pagdanganan at 67.

Why Mata is back in a United shirt again

Old Trafford.

  • Share With email

Juan Mata is back in a Manchester United kit again, as he promotes this summer’s Tour 2024 match against Real Betis in San Diego, USA.

Our former playmaker made 285 appearances and scored 51 goals during nine seasons as a Red, winning the FA Cup, League Cup and Europa League.

It’s fair to say the Spaniard became an incredibly popular figure at Old Trafford thanks to his unique ability on the pitch and kindness off it.

We think you’ll agree, it’s amazing to see Juan back in our kit…

The crest is back on his chest

Don't miss these images of Juan Mata spreading the word about United in San Diego, USA.

Mata left Old Trafford in 2022 and went on to win titles with Galatasaray in Turkey and Vissel Kobe in Japan.

The 35-year-old is considering his next move in football and, to our delight, he is currently spreading the word about United in America.

Juan arrived in San Diego earlier this week and spent Thursday in the community, speaking to the media, visiting a local YMCA centre, training with youngsters and even seeing the air base.

“We are visiting some soccer schools, hospitals, we are trying to do as much as we can in these three or four days that we will be here," said Juan.

“Because it's very important for a football player to actually get to know where we are and connect with the soccer fans, and for Manchester United too, so it is a great opportunity for both the club and myself. I'm really excited about being in San Diego, which is a lovely place. I'm also looking forward to the game.

“It's going to be a nice game against a Spanish side that I know very well. It is going to be a competitive game, although it is pre-season and there's no points, but I'm sure that both teams will bring the best teams they can and hopefully there's great entertainment for the fans. It's always been great to play in front of the US fans for United. I remember many fantastic stadiums and many fantastic memories with them, so hopefully it's going to be one of those.”

Juan has been joined by Real Betis legend Tab Ramos and, together, they are promoting this summer’s Tour 2024 fixture at the impressive Snapdragon Stadium.
