Habe mich auf das Konzert im Vorfeld gefreut, wurde aber antäuscht! Nach einer Stunde Wartezeit, wurde endlich dieBühne betreten. Was dann abgeliefert wurde, war, natürlich subjektiv aus meiner Sicht schlecht. Spielten ca. eine 1h 10min und viel Erzählerei dazwischen. War aus meiner Sicht, nicht gut und ich kann es nicht empfehlen. War den Preis nicht wert.

Ein gelungener Abend

War beim zweiten der zwei aufeinanderfolgenden Konzerte im E-Werk (Sept. 22) mit dabei. Hab aufgrund der hier sehr durchwachsenen Kritiken zunächst gezögert, ob ich für das Konzert wirklich von D'dorf den Rhein bis Köln raufschwimmen soll. Am Ende war ich froh, dass ich dabei war. Tolle Musik u. coole Typen aus England. Wer auf mindestens 2 Stunden Show oder länger besteht, wird enttäuscht sein. Mir persönlich reicht das aber bei Konzerten in kleinen Locations völlig aus, wo ich quasi mit Wein in der Hand die Show von der Theke aus verfolge. Ich war auch so spät genug (und voll genug) wieder zuhause. War alles in allem ein echt gelungener Abend.

Richtig gut - hat sich gelohnt!

Was soll ich sagen? Da hat mal alles gepasst. Zuerst war ich skeptisch, weil wir keine Karten für den Stehbereich vor der Bühne hatten und Sitzen bei Madness ist dann doch ZU verrückt... Aber die Sitzreihe hinter uns war unbesetzt und wir sind klassisch ONE STEP BEYOND nach hinten und hatten genug Platz. Die Band war super und hat die neueren Songs clever als Block zwischen die Klassiker gepackt. Der Sound im Tempodrom ist phantastisch und man hat von den Rängen einen super Blick auf die Bühne. Leider kostet ein Bier (0,5l) 5 Euro. Das finde ich unangemessen teuer.

Brilliant show as always from Madness although they sang a few obscure tunes which we didn't really know from their back catalogue (although they were celebrating 40 years so I guess that was understandable). The Roundhouse is our favourite venue, it's well run, great sound, good views from wherever you stand or sit, plenty of bars & toilets.

Madness where fantastic. Great being in a smaller venue. Only downside was no air conditioning and it was extremely hot inside . No support act to speak of just a guy playing tunes at his decks which was ok for a bit but crowd got a bit restless . Madness brilliant

Brilliant atmosphere,fabulous sound,& an unbelievably great show yet again,only disappointment was (some of,not all) the security guards at the venue,their level of professionalism left a lot to be desired,but The Fratellis and Madness were (and still are) just as good as they’ve always been! #TheSoundOfMadness

Calling all Madness fans – it’s time to bag your tickets for the band’s exciting line-up of 2022 shows. The iconic London ska group have announced gigs at a range of venues across the UK, and we’re on hand to help you grab some much-sought-after tickets.

They were formed in 1976, but Madness is still going strong and entertaining fans up and down the country. The latest ticket release includes shows in Edinburgh, Windsor, Shrewsbury and more locations. With tickets available for London gigs right now.

The band are a mainstay in UK culture, having had 15 UK top ten singles and won a range of awards for their work. Their best-known tracks include the likes of “It Must Be Love”, “One Step Beyond”, and “Baggy Trousers”. This is a fantastic opportunity to hear these classics – and many more – live and in person.

Madness tour 2022: When do tickets go on sale?

Tickets for some of the bigger shows listed below are sure to be in high demand, so it could pay off to go one step beyond and bag your tickets early.

Tickets for all of Madness’s 2021 shows are already available. So if you’re keen to grab tickets for Manchester, Wembley, Newcastle, or any other venue hosting the ska icons in 2021 – use the links above and grab your tickets!

For those wanting 2022 tickets, there are two sales that have just arrived. Tickets to see Madness at The Big Top, at Edinburgh’s Royal Highland Centre, went on sale yesterday – Thursday the 9th of December at 9am. Tickets for Shrewsbury, Windsor, Hertfordshire and Thetford all went on sale this morning. Act fast, and you’ve got a great chance of getting your hands on some.

How much do Madness 2022 tour tickets cost?

Ticket prices for 2022 shows are yet to be confirmed, but prices for December 2021 shows are in the region o £45 to £65.

This will be similar for the 2022 shows, with the possible addition of some more expensive VIP and hospitality packages.

Ska and pop legends Madness return to the US for the first time in eight years with the announcement of stateside tour dates for 2020.

UK ska and pop legends Madness have announced a slate of new tour dates to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the band and their 1979 debut album One Step Beyond… .

Along with a number of shows in Europe, the UK, and Dubai , the band also announced stops in Hammerstein Ballroom in New York, the Fox Theater in Oakland, Boston’s House of Blues and a headlining appearance at Punk Rock Bowling & Music Festival in Las Vegas on 25 May, making it the two-tone outfit’s first visit stateside in eight years.

Tickets are scheduled to go on sale this Friday, 13 December at 10 am.

The group are touring with the majority of their core line-up including frontman Graham “Suggs” McPherson, keyboard/pianist Mike Barson, bassist Mark Bedford, drummer Dan “Woody” Woodgate, saxophonist Lee Thompson and guitarist Chris Foreman.

As part of the late-70s 2-Tone ska revival, Madness stormed the UK charts with their debut album in 1979 and continued to reign with nearly 20 Top 10 singles over the course of three decades with enduring hits like such as ‘Our House’ and ‘Baggy Trousers’.

Prior to their US tour announcement, Madness have a number of UK dates this month including three sold-out nights at the Roundhouse in London from 15-17 December. Following their US dates, the band will return to the UK in the summer, with stops in Gloucestershire on 13 June, the York Festival on 18 June and House of Fun Weekender in Minehead on 20 November 2020.

The ska veterans also released a new single, ‘Bullingdon Boys (Don’t get bullied by the bully boys)’ this past November and their last studio effort was Can’t Touch Us Now in 2016.

Madness have announced a run of US tour dates for 2024 in support of their recent album Theatre of the Absurd Presents C’est La Vie . It marks the legendary ska band’s first trek across the states in over a decade.

The “C’est La Vie in America” Tour”   begins on May 22nd in Seattle, before making stops in cities including Oakland, Boston, and New York throughout the month, as well as an appearance at Las Vegas’ Punk Rock Bowling Festival . These dates supplement the band’s previously-announced UK/EU leg, which will carry them out through the rest of the summer.

A Live Nation ticket pre-sale is set for Thursday, January 18th (use code SPOTLIGHT ), followed by a public on sale on Friday, January 19th via Ticketmaster .

Once tickets are on sale, you can also find them at StubHub , where orders are 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s FanProtect program. StubHub is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

“I remember the first time we were in the  USA, crossing the Brooklyn Bridge, The Mud Club, ABC City,” Madness frontman Suggs recalls in a press release. “I remember Jelly Bean Benetiz, Madonna, Beastie Boys, Run DC Link Ray. I remember California, Fishbone, BossTones, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Whisky Gogo, The Dead Kennedys. America was everything we hoped it would be, we were small fish and we still are and we can’t wait to be swimming in those waters again!”

Madness previously had planned to tour the US in 2020, but those dates were repeatedly postponed due to the pandemic.

Madness announce huge UK outdoor tour for Summer 2024

Madness have announced a huge run of outdoor UK performances, set to kick off in summer 2024. Find ticket details below.

Announced this morning (November 27), the new run of shows will see Suggs and Co. play multiple stops across the UK in celebration of their new album ‘Theatre Of The Absurd Presents C’est La Vie’ , which arrived earlier this month.

The huge 2024 tour consists of 19 dates across the country, kicking off with a stop at the Summer Series in Margate on June 14. It continues over the next two days with appearances at the Summer Sessions in Plymouth and Southampton.

From there, Madness will perform at outdoor venues in Newcastle, Lincoln, Edinburgh and more throughout the remainder of June and July, before wrapping up the final leg of dates in August.

These final three shows consist of a show at Audley End in Essex, a gig at the Custom House Square in Belfast and a final slot at Galway Airport in Ireland on August 10.

Madness’s new LP marks their 13th studio album, and arrived seven years after the release of their last record – 2016’s ‘Can’t Touch Us Now’. The band teased the release with singles ‘Baby Burglar’ and ‘C’Est La Vie’ , as well as an intimate show at the Koko venue in London.

The announcement of the 2024 tour also comes in light of the album going on to top the UK charts. “Would you Adam and Eve it?! It only took us 40 years to get there but we’ve just gone and ruddy scored our first no 1 album with Theatre Of The Absurd Presents C’est La Vie and we thought, what better way to celebrate than to announce a summer tour,” said the band. “There are still a few tickets left for some of the Christmas leg if you can’t wait until then though.”

The run of Summer 2024 shows also follows on from a previously-announced run of tour dates set to kick off later this week.

These consist of a stop at P&J Live in Aberdeen on Thursday (November 30) and continue throughout December with shows in Glasgow, Newcastle, Liverpool, Manchester and more. Madness Announce First US Tour in 12 Years

The ska legends will embark on a six-date run beginning in May

Madness have announced a run of US tour dates for 2024 in support of their recent album Theatre of the Absurd Presents C’est La Vie . It marks the legendary ska band’s first trek across the states in over a decade.

The “C’est La Vie in America” Tour”   begins on May 22nd in Seattle, before making stops in cities including Oakland, Boston, and New York throughout the month, as well as an appearance at Las Vegas’ Punk Rock Bowling Festival . These dates supplement the band’s previously-announced UK/EU leg, which will carry them out through the rest of the summer.

A Live Nation ticket pre-sale is set for Thursday, January 18th (use code SPOTLIGHT ), followed by a public on sale on Friday, January 19th via Ticketmaster .

“I remember the first time we were in the  USA, crossing the Brooklyn Bridge, The Mud Club, ABC City,” Madness frontman Suggs recalls in a press release. “I remember Jelly Bean Benetiz, Madonna, Beastie Boys, Run DC Link Ray. I remember California, Fishbone, BossTones, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Whisky Gogo, The Dead Kennedys. America was everything we hoped it would be, we were small fish and we still are and we can’t wait to be swimming in those waters again!”

Madness previously had planned to tour the US in 2020, but those dates were repeatedly postponed due to the pandemic.
