For good and valuable consideration (including, without limitation, the mutual covenants and agreements of this Travel Services Purchase Agreement), the user (“customer”) agrees, without modification, to the terms and conditions of this Travel Services Purchase Agreement (this “Agreement”) as set out below and to the terms and conditions of the air carrier, hotel, car rental company, tour operator or other supplier of travel services (the “travel services provider”) which are applicable to the travel services being purchased by the customer from the travel services provider. The customer acknowledges having had the opportunity to review the terms and conditions of the travel service provider prior to completing the purchase of travel services.

RESPONSIBILITY

In this Agreement, ”Omega Travel”, a member of “Carlson Wagonlit Travel” means the “Agency of Choice” selected by the customer. The customer’s rights, remedies and recourse under this Agreement for any breach of this Agreement by Omega Travel is solely and exclusively against the Agency of Choice, and the entities described above are not jointly liable for the obligations of’ Omega Travel under this Agreement.

In providing travel information, making reservations and issuing tickets and other documents to the customer,Omega Travel acts solely as the agent for the travel services provider.Omega Traveldoes not guarantee or insure the travel services to be provided by any travel services provider. Omega Travel assumes no responsibility for actions beyond its control in connection with travel services. Omega Travel is not responsible or liable for any claims, losses, damages, costs or expenses arising out of personal injury or death, loss of enjoyment, upset, disappointment, distress or frustration, loss of or damage to property, accident, delay, non performance, irregularity, or any consequence from them, which may be occasioned through the neglect or default or any act or omission of any travel services provider or any governmental authority or which may be occasioned through weather, equipment failure, labour disputes, sickness, theft or any other reason not within the direct control of Omega Travel. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Omega Travel is not responsible for any consequential damages whatsoever.

Omega Travel transmits the proceeds from the sale of travel services to the travel service provider supplying those travel services andOmega Travel acts as the travel service provider’s agent. In the event that such a travel service provider defaults prior to providing the travel service for which payment has been made, the customer’s sole recourse for refund shall be with the defaulting travel service provider, or from insurance covering such defaults.

Omega Travel disclaims all liability for errors or bias in reservations, fares, or other information provided by any automated airline reservation system.

ELIGIBILITY

The customer must be at least 18 years of age in order to purchase travel services under this Agreement and must be a resident of Canada.

PRICING AND CONTENT

All prices listed in this website are in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated. Airport fees for airports that require payment on site, where applicable, are not included in the pricing. All prices are subject to change without prior notice.Omega Travel is not liable for any fluctuation in price or change in schedule or equipment or accommodations in connection with any travel service that occurs before, during or after the purchase of the travel service. Should there be a discrepancy between the price shown on this website and that of the actual travel service provider, the latter shall prevail. All travel services are subject to availability and are deliverable to residents of Canada only.

The processing fee on your travel reservation is quoted including GST, HST, or QST. The taxes charged are based on the province where your Omega Travel agency is located. In some cases, the amount of tax on the processing fee may change if your province of residence is different than where the agency is located.Omega Travel will apply the appropriate tax on your processing fee according to government regulations when the processing fee is charged.

Payment is required at the time of purchase for online bookings. Online purchases can be made using Visa, MasterCard, or American Express credit cards. Third party credit cards bookings are not allowed. All fraudulent purchases will be investigated and prosecuted.

When allowed under the applicable travel service provider’s terms and conditions, Omega Travel may accept a deposit from the customer to reserve travel services. If full payment for the travel services is not received when due under the travel service provider’s terms and conditions, then the deposit shall be forfeited by the customer to the travel service provider.

If the customer resides in the Province of Québec, the customer authorizes Omega Travell to charge the Québec travel compensation fund fee of $2 per $1,000 of travel services purchased by the customer (excluding insurance, service fees, GST and QST) to the same credit card as the customer uses to purchase the travel services.

CONFIRMATION AND DELIVERY

After a purchase is made, the customer will receive an e-mail confirming the purchase. It is the customer’s responsibility to verify that the information contained in that e-mail correctly reflects the travel services purchased. If the information in the e-mail is incorrect, the customer must contact the Agency of Choice on the same day on which the on-line booking is made in order to have it corrected.

Electronic tickets will be delivered by means of e-mail or facsimile transmission. For other travel documents issued by travel service providers, delivery or pick-up arrangements will be made with the customer by the Agency of Choice. If the customer elects to have any documents delivered by courier, applicable courier charges will be payable by the customer. Travel documents issued by tour operators for packages purchased within two (2) weeks of the date of travel will be available by airport pick-up only. The customer is responsible for compliance with the applicable tour operator’s airport pick-up conditions.

DOCUMENTATION

It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the customer and all other persons traveling with the customer have the appropriate documentation in their possession (such as current and valid passports, visas and identification cards) before leaving Canada, and that they satisfy all other applicable requirements (such as vaccinations), to gain entry to the chosen destination and re-entry to Canada. The customer acknowledges having had the opportunity to review the applicable documentation and other requirements prior to completing the purchase of travel services. Obtaining passports and visas may require lengthy processing times and it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure timely receipt of all documents. The customer acknowledges that entry to another country may be refused even if the required information and travel documents are complete.

Specialized notarized documentation may be required for unaccompanied minors and for children traveling without both parents. Ask your Agency of Choice for details.

AIRPORT CHECK-IN

It is the customer’s obligation to check-in at the airport for air travel within the time specified by the applicable travel service provider and, following check-in, to proceed to the correct departure gate by the time specified on the customer’s boarding pass. A customer will be denied boarding if the customer has not checked in or arrived at the correct departure gate on time.Omega Travel is not responsible if the customer misses his or her flight.

FLIGHT TIMES AND RECONFIRMATION

All flight times, carriers, equipment and itineraries are subject to change with or without prior notice. Omega Travel is made aware of a change by a travel service provider, it will use commercially reasonable efforts to advise the customer as soon as possible. For air travel, please contact the applicable airline 24 hours prior to departure to reconfirm flight times and status. In the event of a flight delay related to weather, traffic or another force majeure situation, it may not be possible for the air carrier to provide meals and/or accommodations.Omega Travell is not responsible for lost wages, missed holiday time or any other additional charges incurred as a result of changes in times or itineraries.

CONNECTING FLIGHT TIMES

Customers should allow for the minimum connecting time approved by the applicable travel service provider in order to reduce the risk of missing connecting flights. All connecting flight reservations are made at the risk of the customer and Omega Travel is not liable for damages or additional fees incurred by the customer owing to a missed flight connection, whatever the reason.

FOREIGN TRAVEL

Air travel to other countries is governed by various conventions and agreements between Canada and other governments, which are incorporated into the terms and conditions of the customer’s purchase of applicable air travel services. Incorporated terms may include, but are not restricted to:

  • limits on liability for personal injury or death;
  • limits on liability for lost or damaged baggage and its contents, including fragile or perishable goods, and availability of excess valuation coverage;
  • claims restrictions, including time periods within which passengers must file a claim or bring an action against the air carrier;
  • rights of the air carrier to change the contract;
  • rules on re-confirmation of reservations, check-in times and refusal to carry; and
  • rights of the air carrier and limits on liability for delay or failure to perform service, including schedule changes, substitution of alternate air carriers or aircraft and rerouting.

It also is the customer’s responsibility to become familiar with the relevant laws and customs of the countries of destination. The customer acknowledges that the living standards and practices at the destination and the standards and conditions there with respect to the provision of utilities, services and accommodation may differ from those found in Canada.

BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE

The customer must consult the terms and conditions of the applicable airline for restrictions on the number and weight of baggage on chartered and scheduled service. Lost or damaged baggage is the responsibility of the airline, which may have limited liability.Omega Travel recommends the purchase of insurance for loss of, or damage to, baggage. In the event of damaged, lost or delayed baggage, please contact the applicable airline representative prior to leaving the airport. Failure to do so will invalidate the customer’s claim. Note: Additional baggage fees may apply based on the airline you have selected. Click here to view baggage policies for airlines supported by CWT.

Omega Travel offers the customer the option of purchasing travel insurance, including trip cancellation insurance and out of province health insurance, to insure the customer against the risks described in the applicable policy that may occur prior to, during or after the customer’s trip. It is recommended that the customer purchase travel insurance.

There are different types of insurance packages available. Travel insurance may only be purchased by the customer within 48 hours of purchasing the travel services to which the insurance relates or prior to the day of departure, whichever is earlier (excluding out of province medical only insurance, which may be purchased anytime up until departure). The customer also may change the type of insurance coverage purchased only within the same period. Cancellation of an insurance package purchased through Carlson Wagonlit Travel must be submitted within 10 days of purchase or prior to the day of departure, whichever is earlier. To make an insurance claim it is the customer’s responsibility to contact the insurance carrier as soon as possible. Please contact Carlson Wagonlit Travel if more information regarding travel insurance is required.

The customer acknowledges that it has been made aware of the availability of travel insurance coverage, including trip cancellation insurance and out of province health insurance, and the customer has either purchased or expressly declined to purchase that insurance prior to completing the purchase of travel services.

CANCELLATION AND CHANGES

Cancellation penalties for purchased travel services vary depending on the travel service provider. In many cases, the price of travel services is 100% non-refundable or cancellation carries stiff penalties. Travel service arrangements also may not be changeable or they may be changeable only upon payment of a fee that is determined by the travel service provider. The customer should consult the terms and conditions of the applicable travel service provider before completing the purchase of travel services.

JURISDICTION AND CLASS ACTIONS

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province in which the Agency of Choice is located and the laws of Canada applicable in it and shall in all respects be treated as a contract of that province. The customer expressly waives his or her right to participate in a class action suit against Carlson Wagonlit Travel for any cause of action arising out of this Agreement.

Omega Travel is committed to protecting the privacy of customer’s personal information, including financial information. Omega Travel Privacy Policy may be reviewed here. By purchasing travel services, the customer agrees that the Agency of Choice may contact the customer in connection with the purchase of those travel services.

MISCELLANEOUS

The customer acknowledges and agrees that the customer shall execute this Agreement by:

  • clicking on the appropriate icon indicating that the customer agrees with the terms and conditions of this Agreement;
  • providing his or her name on the website page where the details of the travel services requested are supplied; and
  • providing the customer’s credit card type, number and expiry date.

The parties declare that they have requested that this Agreement and any amendments or modifications to it be drafted in English.

Subject to the other terms of this Agreement, this Agreement includes the travel service specifications, prices, travelers and all other travel arrangements indicated on the page of this website where these details have been supplied.

Omega Travel Shop Bad News Company

I booked a flight with this company back in June/July and got an amazing price. All seemed good until the last week or so when I kept getting text messages to say my flight had been cancelled and to call an 0870 number, which I did, this call lasted 8 min and I was charged £3.75 for the call and I was eventually cut off. I tried several times more to contact them through other UK numbers getting cut off and being put through to people speaking Chinese or speaking English with accents so strong I could not understand them before being cut off again. I contacted the airline directly only to find there was no issue with my flight at all, so this is clearly a fraudulent money making exercise. Probably to make up the short fall in the cheap fares offered. Do not use this company.

Whilst I fully appreciate the situation…

Whilst I fully appreciate the situation we are all in regarding travel I am disappointed that a packaged trip we had booked to visit Saatchi Gallery this month is not being refunded. The gallery itself has issued refunds on tickets so why can't this be passed backed to your customers? Had two replies to emails with dubious quotes regarding refunds and containing lots of text in bold. On querying the content of said emails the third has just arrived telling me the office is closed. This particular trip will not be available in the future and I do not want to exchange it for any other break on offer.

Avoid at all costs

We have just had two horrible days dealing with this company and trying to change a flight, after my daughter had emergency surgery and had to postpone her trip to Taiwan. Their customer service is the worst we have ever experienced and the chances of them replying to emails or even picking the phone up are next to zero. They requested an additional payment to change the flight and even after we did that, they tried to fob us off and did nothing. We finally contacted KLM directly who in the end agreed to help us after we had to make a payment of about 145 pounds. Do not use this company: I have already reported the matter to Travel supermarket and KLM will also hopefully take action. I will soon complain about them to ABTA.

Beware Six Weeks Notice to Cancel

Booked with them for a trip to London, 4 weeks before the trip my don had a Heart Attack. So was unable to go contact them, was informed I needed to give SIX weeks notice and couldn't transfer to a later trip. I must ask my son to give me more notice next time. On the dare of the trip didn't go but let getting text could I get out side the hotel as the bus is waiting shows how up to date their reps and yesterday got an e mail asking for my feed back about the trip. Do not use Omega travel

Do not use Omega travel. Booked flights to Sri Lanka through them and got a text saying they had been cancelled and to call them. Called them, was put on hold for 10 minutes, called back and spoke to someone who had very little grasp of English- wouldn't explain why the flights were cancelled and just basically couldn't understand what they were saying. After some navigating, managed to get a refund form from them, but they said it could take 6 weeks for a refund which is ridiculous. They have been unbelievably unhelpful and I suspect it could be fraudulent. A very stressful experience. Found them through Skyscanner so assumed they were a trusted company but they absolutely aren't. Don't waste your time/money with them.

Awful service

Awful service. Booked theatre trip for December which was cancelled due to covid. I have requested a refund 3 times. Today I had a letter saying it is rescheduled for June 2021. This is no good to me. I still want a refund but nothing mentioned about when I will get it.

How I wish I had read the Trustpilot review of this (dis)organisation before I spent my money with them. The event was cancelled by the organisers (due to understandable circumstances outside their control). Omega refused to admit that the key portion of their trip was cancelled and insisted on offering an alternative having little or no resemblance to the original event on a much later date which was unacceptable to us. Omega refuses to answer their phones, they do not reply to e-mails and even worse are STILL advertising the cancelled event for sale via their website, They will only offer a refund by vouchers for future travel (not likely!). I have instigated a chargeback on my credit card but that is not really the point, why should the bank lose out to these CROOKS? DO NOT TOUCH THEM WITH A BARGE POLE>

Don’t book with Omega travel for…

Don’t book with Omega travel for theatre trips. Totally unreliable, and you have to wait 6 weeks to get your money back even if you pay by credit card. Or they Moab you have to do it through your travel insurance. This trip had nothing to do with Covid. Omega if you can’t get the seats for the theatre, then it’s simple don’t advertise the shows. Very dissatisfied.

The customer service is atrocious and I am still not sure if I can manage to get my money back. They declined my booking but still withdrew all the money for the plane fare. Customer service was always busy or unhelpful. Please do not support this company.

I tried purchasing a flight twice using the website and both time it failed with a message saying "call for assistance". The first person answered quickly, but did not speak english so had to hang-up. I called again and a second person tried helping, saying the price had increased hence the error. I agreed with the new price and new link sent, which also errored. I was asked to try other cards which also failed to work, so went elsewhere. A waste of 30 minutes

Took money after payment failure error

Took money after payment failure error, failed to ticket and refusing to refund! They are literally just taking money and offering nothing at this point. DO NOT USE THEIR SITE! IF YOU GOT A PAYMENT ERROR CHECK YOUR BANK STATEMENTS! I tried to book a airline ticket through their website as my parents used to use them, their system failed with payment failed error with booking voided, and when I emailed (calls gets cut off) I was assured no payment was taken for the booking number provided. Few days later I notice payment was taken from my bank! I emailed to ask for a refund and was assured there would be a refund, that was 5 weeks ago! Since then you just get a standard reply, they essentially took my money, no ticket, no booking and refused to issue a refund. If I had not noticed money taken from my account they would of stolen the money. Do not use their services!

I had a theatre trip booked in June, while I appreciate the situation I have only recieved a standard email 6 months ago when I requested a refund instead of the credit note I'd recieved and nothing since. I had other theatre tickets booked that I had organised myself and have had refunds for them so am guessing they are not waiting for them to refund. I'm referring to a 1-day trip I booked two years ago in April 2016. I booked a 1-day trip to Bath and Stonehenge for four people. The price is very reasonable hence we chose this company. The driver came half an hour late and it was a small van. Apparently we were the overflow and were put on a small van, whereas others were in a large coach. It was OK. When we got to Stonehenge, we stopped at the coach car park when most people got their group tickets, but we were told to walk for another 20 mins to the big entrance to get individual tickets. This was not how we understood when we signed up. The same happened to Bath museum. We asked how to get to the Royal Crescent (which was stated on their itinerary) but again was told it wasn't included and we had to find out way there. When we were waiting on the van to leave, two elderly were 3 mins late and the driver wanted to leave without them. He was trying to turn on the engine and leave twice, but other passengers asked him to wait for another five mins. So they came at the end. I emailed the company about these and got a reply that they will investigate, of course there is no reply after two years.

Would not book with this company again talk about faulty tours !!,it was one thing after another.we arrived at hotel after 6hrs on the coach to be told no rooms ready,we had the theatre booked for evening performance told to freshen up in gym area.dropped off 30min walk from theatre.told to walk back there after show had finished.with my 76 year old mother.!even though the driver passed the theatre on the way to the show and on the way back.never ever again will we use this company so unprofessional.

well what an absolute joke this place is. Booked flights to Melbourne. And my card was cloned and thousands taken out. For then 4 weeks before I leave. They change my connecting flight so I then go from having a 2 hours stop over ( good time) to a half hour stop over. NOT GUNNA HAPPEN. I then 3 days later receive in flight information that it has been changed again but the origin of my travels are no longer from Heathrow but Amsterdam IS THIS SOME SORT OF JOKE! I have also tired countless about of times to ring and get in touch with both omega travels and the airline I’m using and I’ve had no luck! Absolute joking don’t waste your time with thses idiots!

This company is an absolute shambles do…

This company is an absolute shambles do not use them. I booked a weekend theatre break for a friend’s birthday and myself to see Les Miserables. The coach driver was a rude obnoxious man who did nothing to help/advise his passengers only telling crude smutty jokes throughout the journey his name was Leigh from Manchester. His driving was so aggressive horn tooting etc. We arrived at Holiday Inn hotel to be told once we were all off the coach it was the wrong one !!!!! Eventually arrived at correct hotel…..driver did not get off coach to help with check in until a passenger went to get him off the coach. We had 45mins to freshen up before heading off to central London. We we basically all dumped to find our own way to the theatres. He said if we were not back at 11pm he wouldn’t wait. Our theatre was 30min taxi drive away and show didn’t finish until 11pm so no way we could get back for coach departure. The weather was atrocious heavy rain. I then bought 2 tickets to sera different show at the extra cost of £120. Sunday was at leisure in London driver said there was no parking in central London due to Marathon. He eventually dropped us in Park Lane for 4 hours. Apparently he stayed there and was given a £60 fine for being on double red lines (congestion zone) he moaned about it continuously to everyone. This was a weekend experience I do not want to repeat. I will be e.mailing Omega breaks direct with my complaint.

I booked a concert & overnight stay…

I booked a concert & overnight stay package in January 2020 with Omega Breaks paying full costs for a March concert. Due to COVID this was postponed until November 2020 and subsequently postponed until November 2021. As a result I requested a refund and only received a Refund / Credit Note valid until 31/12/21. To add insult to injury the RCN stated it was financially protected by the Confederation of Passenger Transport UK (CPT) bonded by the Coach Holidays Scheme BCH. I have been subsequently advised by the CPT / BCH my ‘self drive’ break was not covered / bonded by them therefore I have no financial protection against non payment by Omega Breaks. After 2 phone calls & 2 emails I have no acknowledgment of them receiving my emails, Or comments on the accusations made. I am no nearer to establishing when my refund will be received despite being told I should receive it within 12 weeks of my request / receipt of there RCN. Customer Service is disgraceful. Others wishing to place orders with Omega Breaks should seriously consider this and other reviews submitted.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE horrible experience in Europe

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! We ordered from a tour agency and got transferred to this company. This is a horrible crappy company customers MUST AVOID!! The most crappy thing about this company is that of ordering their bus at the last minute. Instead of using their own buses for us tourists they ordered a very old bus from a company named Coachpartners. That company is also trash. The bus’s air vents did not work. Our tour took time during the hottest days of Europe. So the ac did not work and caused many commotions. People were sweating so much and it was so hot inside the bus. It made my experience in Europe at nightmare. People can pass out because of the heat. When I was back at the States, me and my friends decided to contact the company. First I contacted coachpartners and got a horrible response of “thanks for your review”. Then we decided to contact omega but got no response. Called many times as emails did, no response. This is why you should avoid this hell of a stupid chinese tour company!!!!!

Regardless of all the bad reviews on here, I in fairness, had no problems with them. I booked flights from Manchester to Orlando. I received my confirmation moments after paying, and was given the booking number to view my flight with virgin Atlantic. They were Reasonably priced and like I say, as a whole, there were no problems

Shambolic, untrustworthy and unprofessional. I wouldn't give them this one star! Booking changed at very short notice taking advantage of elderly customer by replacing a weekend with weekdays. Tried to change this with nearly double the notice they gave us: told we would have to lose the money. Reimbursement owed from this change still not paid after nearly 4 months. Customer services can't answer an email for 14 days due to 'personal heavy workload'. Never know anything like it - and we didn't get to travel anywhere with them...thankfully!

Horrible food

We booked a weekend in London including transport by coach, theatre show and leisure time in London on Sunday plus overnight hotel stay with evening meal and breakfast. We had travelled from 6am until 8pm and looked forward to a nice meal. The hotel was changed a week before to the Ibis at Heathrow. Disgusting food for evening meal and breakfast! Dry bread, runny curry, pale chips and uncooked chicken legs ( if there was any left) No plates, no staff presence....bloody chaos! Breakfast was fatty uncooked bacon, tasteless mushrooms, beans, runny eggs. 20 minute wait for toast! No staff presence and most didnt speak English anyway.

I realise that Covid has caused cancellations of all sorts, but despite emailing them several times and being placated with various excuses, I have yet to receive a refund. I bet my story tops everyone else’s - I had a omegatravel coach drive into me and drive me off the dual carriageway and destroy my whole car - and DRIVE OFF!!!!!! Luckily I wasn’t killed. Booked a theatre trip and overnight stay in London for June 2020 - it was cancelled due to covid. I was issued with a refund credit note but asked for a cash refund. Had an email asking me to contact them again in 12 weeks and they should be able to let me know when I will get my refund cheque. Emailed them again after 12 weeks - got no response. Emailed again 4 weeks later - still no response or acknowledgement. Have had plenty of sales emails advertising new shows and a letter today reminding me that I have a refund credit note and to use it to book a new trip! Don't want to book a new trip I want my money back!!!

Tutankhamen exhibition coach trip March 2020 Omega Breaks - do not go anywhere near them for any travel requests. I think we have been patient long enough waiting for a refund which we still have not received. Numerous emails, so many promises of a refund, they say they are currently processing march/April cancelled trips but how long does it take- 8 months? I am contacting watchdog and trading standards tomorrow to make them aware of this company, apparently established in 1979, how the devil have they kept trading this long. A company cannot continue to sell breaks and trade on debt so even though my refund might only be for a few hundred quid, to some that is a lot of money and I will be taking this further. Worse than Ryanair so stay clear!

I had not booked with this company before, but they were offering on Travel Zoo, a ticket to the Albert Hall & an overnight stay. Because of Corona this was cancelled months ago & I have been asking for a refund ever since, with absolutely no luck. They keep on saying that they are not yet processing refunds! I paid for a short break holiday on 3/3/20 to see pretty woman. The holiday was cancelled by Omega and I was issued with a credit note. Despite numerous e mails and phone calls I have not received the refund I requested. As a result they have so had my money for over 15 months now. They are now refusing to answer my e mails. Good 3 day trip to Paris and Versailles

I took my family for a 3 days holiday tour trip to Paris and Versailles via Omegatravel. The start was a bit of a disaster as they forgot to inform us of the new hotel destination which we had to get another taxi for but I was happy to receive the refund from them. The bus was a good big bus which had aircon and stopped frequently for toilet breaks. Versailles Palace was amazing, Monet Gardens was beautiful, and the river seine cruise was a nice end to the day. The tour guide was trying his best to please everyone and I think he sometimes did not update us as much as we would like of what our schedule time was. Overall, a pleasant trip to Paris for a reasonable price and would recommend if you have elderly family who could not walk too much. A tip is to bring sandwiches and bottled water as you want to see as much as possible without spending time finding places to eat. I am forever grateful for the tour guide and bus driver in returning my bag that I left behind in Paris when I had to leave early. The bus returned to London to which I obtained my bag from the bus driver. Thank you so much Mr Bus Driver from North London and Mr Tour Guide from Paris.

never again

Lied to me and told me my flight was cancelled when it wasn’t because they had booked me on a connecting flight that was impossible to make. Did not tell me that when I cancelled the outbound flight, the inbound one was cancelled too and I got stranded, having to fork out for two business class flights home, got home a day late and had to spend the night on the cold marble floor in Madrid. The ombudsman is involved.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Flights cancelled and requested refund. Took 3 hours after being put on hold and hung up on to agree that I will be refunded. Told I would have to wait 12 weeks for refund even though my money had been taken. 15 weeks later still waiting. No response to emails. Constantly calling to be told "its with refund department". Cannot speak to refund department; I doubt it even exists, to be honest. Cannot speak to supervisors/managers; always busy. Cannot explain how bad this company is and how stressful it is trying to get my money back. Simply, DO NOT USE.

Very poor company

Very poor company. Do not use. Still awaiting my £2500 refund. They do not answer their phone. They keep you waiting for hours. I had to borrow money to rebook my tickets. I have reported this to my bank and they may recompensate me after my travel date. Very disappointing considering I booked through Sky Scanner. Seem to have UK Chinese and other world wide sites with the name Omega travel or tickets appalling, booked a pair of return flight to Vegas with a change, schedule changed and this lot did not rebook us nor did they want to know. we had to buy 2 more tickets for the second leg. despite numerous emails no reply and you cannot get hold of them by phone DO NOT USE OR PAY the price TWICE!

Pensioners being lied to!!!

Do I now have to accept that this company must be going bust!!! I was told the first week in January that I would get my money back in 10/12 weeks but not surprisingly I didn’t! Have sent numerous emails to which I get no response!! Have managed to speak twice, after long waits to customer services, who assure me that my case has been ‘accelerated’ - obviously not!! I have used Omega many times and always been very happy, but this service is beyond belief. My friend and I are pensioners and can’t afford to lose this money, and we are being lied to. Have requested 3 times for a refund for…

Have requested 3 times for a refund for the Tina Turner musical booked last year that was cancelled due to covid. Instead of a refund I got a letter offering me an alternative date to go this June. I cannot go has my husband has Alzheimer’s and has now deteriorated too much to go. He also cannot walk and his hearing has also deteriorated. I told them this in November. They said they understood and was told they would refund me. I also started a dispute to get my money back via Barclays. Still no luck. Therefore I am starting legal proceedings. Whist I enjoyed the trip I had previously and had a good time. I couldn’t fault it. I feel really let down now.

Omega air holidays have conned me!!! Left me out of pocket £560

I booked a ticket to Sri Lanka with omega air holidays to fly with Qatar airways. I paid for the ticket through direct bank transfer. I was sent a e ticket but when I went to check in the day before I was to fly the air line said they booked the ticket but did not settle the payment the company did not connect me also I lost my money and missed my mum’s 75th birthday in Sri Lanka. Now I am trying to get in touch with them there is no reply. Phone lines are not working & emails are returned. Please don’t book with this company you will be conned!!!!

OMEGATRAVEL??, STAY AWAY FROM IT IF YOUR DON'T WANT HEADACHE! I have booked their 7 day-six night Greek tour. Before the booking, I called the agents in London and Shanghai (very hard to reach them) and I was told there nine other customers in the tire as well. Guess what, The tour was cancelled the next day. It takes long time to have money refunded back to me and less that what I have paid for

AWFUL & VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE I have been trying to book a flight since yesterday with no luck because they had a problem with VISA Card so I couldn't pay with my only card. I called customer service and they told me I could book my flight during office hours (9-6), I called in the morning, and the customer service was awful and very un respectful, being rude and not giving any solutions. "book it from the website men" , one of their comment, and I am a lady. So, if on the website it says you can book through the phone, how can be possible nobody on the customer service couldn't help me? I called 3 times, the people are behind the phone, are not nice or trying to help. Dont book with them. bad Karma, bad style....

Booked a trip to the US. The flights were arranged in such a way that I would miss a connection and stay 12 hours in the terminal. When they put through a schedule change, I was sent an email in Mandarin that made no sense. I could neither confirm or deny whatever they were asking me. Forward to the date of the flight and they were still insisting I had confirmed the changes, when I had simply asked them to clarify what the email meant. I missed my flight and wasn't allowed a refund. The airlines also will not help you at all because it's the travel operators fault.

I used SkyScanner and discovered that Omega Travel had the cheapest tickets for 2 flights I needed which was great. One way I had a flight on United. They used Ms with my first name which messed things up on the ticket. I called United about it and they said it was not an issue. That being said, they put Ms also on my American flight BUT added the initial H with my name. I am in a TSA trusted traveler program. Because of how they entered my name (could be do to Ms. but most likely due to the H), I could not use my TSA membership for the returning flight. There was no way before checking in for my flight that I could even see that they entered H in my name as in the emails I received, there is no H. Looking back on things now, it probably would have just been paying more for peace of mind.

Ok so I booked with Omega via Skyscanner - THEN read the online reviews and absolutely panicked !! Rang them - admittedly took several goes to get through and the person I spoke to wasn't the easiest to understand.. but I explained to her that I had changed my mind and wanted to cancel. She told me there was a cancellation fee of £30 per ticket ( which is clearly explained in the T &C section of their website so I was prepared for this) I said I wanted to go ahead & cancel & she sent me a cancellation form by email. Had an email back from them on Friday to say refund was being processed and would take 5 working days. Lo and behold the money is today ( Thursday) back in my account. I told my daughter the tale and apparently she flew to Thailand with them without any problem last year. SO they might be a bit rubbish but they're not crooks. I have my refund and if I hadn't panicked I might have had my cheap flights !

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, AS STATED IN ANOTHER REVIEW THEY ARE THIEVES. My experience is quite similar to the review with a similar headline below. To cut a long story short I was unable to check-in 24 hours before my flight (to see my dying friend) in the USA. The reason given was that the name on the ticket did not match the name on the passport. Two things here: their website does not require that these match. It would be simple to do this in the same way that one is often asked to write a password twice and it has to match. As it happens - and my recollection is slightly dim as I made the original booking a long time ago - I had to call them at the time of the booking. I am pretty sure we completed the on-line application over the phone, i.e. they would have been aware the names did not match. Anyway the upshot was that as I had to travel, I bought another ticket for the airline at a cost of £800 and have been offered £80 return on taxes by Omega and I might have to wait 8-12 weeks for it. (Omega Travel would not amend the booking at short notice) Since the first offer they have failed to send the form, told me my email address was 'incorrect' even though they had sent my ticket to that address, and generally been incompetent, deliberately or not. Finally the refund application form has arrived today with the threat that if it is not returned the same day the refund may reduce. The only conclusion I can draw is that Omega deliberately make or encourage mistakes which result in flights having to be rebooked. They get airline commission for every booking (I went straight to he airline for my second ticket). Even the review starting "I must admit..." which presumably ended up in a successful flight, indicates to me that the agency was trying to pull a fast one. DO NOT USE THEM. I am about to see if this review will accept no stars. If it shows one star that is only because the system requires it. Looks like it has to be one star!

WARNING!!!!!!!They charge you 50 pound extra after booking because of calling their number. The worst ever, do not waste your money After a week I received a text from omega flight that my flight detail is changed and I should call a Number to find out how it is changed. I call the number and nobody answered for a week, there was just a music and some recorded voice that "your call is very important to us, we answer it shortly". After a week calling someone answered and he was very rude. I informed that my flight significantly changed and my connection from 1 hours becomes 3 hours!!!!! when I received my bills from Three (I have unlimited call and text) I released they charge me 50 extra pound because of calling omega flights. I have an Indian friend who works for them before and he said it is a nasty trick that Omega flight uses for years to charge its customers. I asked them to refund me but they said they wont refund me.

Shocking service. I booked a ticket with luggage allowance (confirmed in writing by Omega) but they then proceeded to issue me with a cheaper 'hand-luggage only' ticket. I had to make several long calls to their call centre in India trying to resolve this with promised emails and call-backs not materialising when promised. Staff were also aggressive on the phone and tried to blame me for not booking correctly, despite the written booking confirmation that I had received to the contrary. They then sent me an email claiming that there 'was no evidence that my booking ever contained a baggage allowance' which was totally contradicted by the evidence that I had already provided them. All told, hours wasted (not to mention phone call costs) and now it is likely that I will have to pay substantial extra baggage costs at the airport to overcome the problem!!

Appalling service. Used search for BA flights for 30 December out and 3 January back. Booked through Omegaflightstore only to discover later that the flight actually booked back was 10 January instead of 3 January. No refund on flight. BA refunded additional baggage costs made with them with no charge and advised I was entitled to a refund of taxes from the travel agent. Total taxes paid were over £80 so worth retrieving. After phone calls and emails Omega told me I was indeed entitled to the tax refunds, however their 'fee' for this was £50 per person - a total of £100 to refund £80! This 'fee' might well be buried somewhere in Omega's acres of Terms and Conditions, however you can make your own mind up if you think this is even remotely reasonable. Certainly I will never use Omega again and I will be advising all I know not to as well.

I'll admit I had little contact with them directly, but that's just a testament to how smoothly it went! Booked a flight with BA to Madrid a couple of days before seeing it was quite a lot cheaper on SkyScanner, and had no problems at all. Had a confirmation in about 10 minutes, then submitted the additional passenger information and got an email from BA directly confirming the booking and giving a link to online checkin! Wouldn't hesitate to book again.
