The feeling of skiing day after day, preferably with the sled in tow and the tent on top, has for many become a haven where the phone doesn't ring, the email doesn't arrive and the head is allowed to rest. It is good to feel the physical effort and the calm pace. Our ski trips and expeditions are more popular than ever, so here you will find an overview of what we offer. Winter course in Jotunheimen

Our winter course in Jotunheimen is specially designed for those of you who want to learn more about winter camping. During a long weekend in Jotunheimen, we guarantee you a content-rich and educational course where we go from theory to practice so that you get a solid introduction to good routines, tips and tricks that make winter outdoor life both safer, more fun and more comfortable. The course is suitable whether you want to learn to eventually go on your own winter trips, or if you want to join us on other ski trips but need more experience. There is also a nice intro to mountain skiing with a sled and tent in winter, which can be useful for those of you who want to test whether this is something for you. Ski Expedition in Northern Norway - Crossing Finnmarksvidda

It is wild and exotic in Finnmark, and the ski trip across the platteau is a great test if you dream of a polar expedition one day. At Finnmarksvidda you get a taste of endless expanses, cold and long days out skiing. Our tour starts in Alta, where we are transported to Øvre Stilla (30 km), which is the starting point for the ski tour. From here, the route follows the old winter road over the mountain. We will stay in three pleasant mountain cabins which are spread out in appropriate day stages across the platteau. Experience Pasvik - Ski adventure with pulk and tent

The name Pasvik carries a certain weight for us nature enthusiasts. The national park is an extreme branch of the Siberian taiga. Here we find primeval forest, wetland areas, a few low ridges, small bodies of water and scattered pine forests. In other words, we are in a unique natural area within Norway's borders. Our trip to Pasvik is not only a wonderful nature experience, it is also a trip that is very suitable for first-time travelers with sleds and tents. Crossing Norway Ski Expedition

Do you want to see some of the most beautiful things Norway has to offer and  feel the sense of expedition life with a tent and sled? Then this is the tour for you! 120 km in 7 days. The route runs along the official "Norway across" traverse or "Tvers" in Norwegian. Were at 63º North in Trøndelag, from the Swedish border to Trondheimsfjord. We follow marked winter routes for large parts of the trip, but also go on unmarked terrain for some stages. We walk in weather-exposed high mountains, scattered birch forests and warm conifer forests. Youll never get bored with how diverse the terrain becomes. Parts of the tour go along the fantastic mountain massif Sylan, which is located right near the Swedish border. This is a trip that goes under the radar for many, and is one of the true adventures to say youve crossed all of Norway. Crossing Svalbard

For many, crossing Spitsbergen will be the ultimate way to experience the magnificent nature of Svalbard, as well as being an introduction to expedition life in the Arctic. With ice-covered fjords, snow-covered mountains and exciting wildlife, this is a fantastic trip that simply has to be experienced. We set up day stages between 20 and 30 kilometers and set up camp every evening. Most of the day is spent skiing, but we have a leisurely pace and take breaks along the way. We plan the route in relation to the weather, and the path of least resistance guides us - we want to get the best out of the trip, and the route can be adjusted several times along the way. Ski Expedition experience at Svalbard - Nordenskiold with skis and pulk

We test expedition life in the Arctic and explore Nordenskioldland with skis and sleds. An experience of a lifetime! In contrast to both Svalbard across, as in East to West (or Tvers in Norwegian" and Svalbard along, as in Norrth to South (På langs in Norwegian), this is an easier trip that can be a good gateway towards such trips in arctic regions. The ski tour starts a short mile outside Longyearbyen, and after a short bus ride we can strap on our skis and sleds and start the journey towards the scooter-free glacier massif between Adventdalen and Reindalen, two of the largest valleys in Svalbard. Here we find the highest peaks in Nordenskioldland with nunataks encircling the glacier. We set up day stages between 8 and 21 kilometres, and establish a new camp every evening. Crossing Svalbard South to North

Svalbard along (North to South) is a skiing expedition that deserves respect. The fact that this is without a doubt one of the hardest skiing expeditions you can do makes it an achievement to complete this trip. It will be hard, but the reward is great. The nature on Svalbard is unique and magnificent, and for 30 days we live close to nature and each other with tents as housing and skis as means of transportation. Avalanche in Austria kills three skiers from the Netherlands

An avalanche near the Austrian ski resort of Sölden has killed three skiers from the Netherlands. Another person was rescued and taken to hospital.

The victims were part of a 17-person ski touring group that was on an ascent with four Austrian guides. Ski touring involves using skis with special bindings and skins that make moving uphill possible.

The group was heading towards a mountain refuge at about 2,500 metres (8,200ft) above sea level when the avalanche, which was about 80 metres wide, hit just before 11am on Thursday.

It swept away four members of the group, two of whom were dead when rescuers found them. The two others were found injured; one was flown to hospital by helicopter and the other remained on the mountain. The skier who remained on the mountain died, a police spokesperson said later.

The Dutch foreign ministry said the country’s embassy in Vienna was investigating exactly what happened and was ready to provide assistance if needed.

It was great to be able to be there by ourselves and the monk that showed us around and Anton both were obviously very passionate about the monastery so you were able to understand much better what the various churches and icons meant to them The view from the bell tower was awesome even if the climb up took some faith! We organized that tour from Australia well ahead of time, planning to visit Zvenigorod with big group of extended family and friends with teens as part of our New Year trip to Moscow. The communication with Anton, our guide, was excellent during the time since booking till the excursion day. The actual day was organized very good, taken into account mixed group of adults, born in USSR and kids, born in Australia. Anton organized our activities to be suitable for all of us. As adults, we were enjoyed country side during winter and Monastery's quietness and ability to jump to the cold "holy" water at one of the oldest Monasteries of Russia - Savva Storoghevskiy Man Monastery. That was the most amazing and nearly magical experience! Kids were enjoyed of snow and treats Anton provide for us, including buisquits and Sbiten'. We also visited very interesting Museum of Russian desserts and learn a lot about ancient russian sweets; have a look on our past in the Museum of USSR and bought some yammie things to enjoy later. In general we all agree that our tour to Zvenigorod with Anton was enjoyable and educational; well organized and unforgettable. We wish we would have more time there! I went with the family, my husband and two daughters and they enjoyed every minute. Anton was very attentive to our needs and have good connections with the local communities. We tasted delicious Russian lunch on this tour. We had a fun time painting our Russian dolls (matryoshka) and finished the trip with a great feeling of connection to Russian culture, tasty food, fantastic people and magnificent architecture.   Do not hesitate to book this tour. He took us down the bunker 43 meter down the surface, explained about the heavy doors and let us open them, kept us informed about its functions and introduced us whatever exhibits were left there. There is an interesting balance of history, access you would not expect around a monastery, the visuals of the architecture and decoration, unique chance to observe the inner workings of the monastery, views from vantage points and the towers. The metro is so interesting and important for local citizens, Red Square is amazing, St. Basil cathedral was iconic both outside and even more interesting inside. It was both interesting and educational seeing central Moscow streets. Anton managed to book us a table for lunch with delicious local food and he helped us with recommendations for dinner (booked is a table as well). Brilliant job, Moscow with locals!
