Fontaines D.C. add extra shows to 2024 ‘Romance’ UK and Ireland tour

Fontaines D.C. have added more shows to their 2024 ‘Romance’ UK and Ireland tour ā find all the details below.

The Dublin band will hit the road this November in support of their fourth album ‘Romance’ , which is due for release on August 23 via XL Recordings ( pre-order/pre-save here ).
Now, Fontaines D.C. have confirmed three more dates for the upcoming trek due to demand. They’ll play a second gig at Alexandra Palace in London on November 23 after performing at the same venue the previous evening (22).
The group have also added two extra shows at Aviva Studios in Manchester on November 30 and December 1 ā bringing their total number of concerts in the city to three.
Tickets for the full tour go on general sale at 10am BST tomorrow (April 26) ā you’ll be able to buy yours here .

In addition to their headline tour, Fontaines D.C. are scheduled to make appearances atĀ Glastonbury ,Ā Reading &Ā Leeds , Pukkelpop and Sziget among other festivals across the season.
Produced by James Ford ( Arctic Monkeys ,Ā Foals ,Ā Depeche Mode ), the forthcoming ‘Romance’ has already been previewed by the single ‘Starbuster’ . In a glowing five-star review of the track , NME noted how Fontaines D.C. had “taken a perfect left turn” to usher in their next chapter.
It added: “Leaning on the Massive Attack trip-hop noir vibes first hinted at on [2022 album] āSkinty Fiaā ās title track, āStarbursterā is a pensive art-rock beast that fuses elements of electronica and hip-hop more akin to their fellow striking countrymen (and recent collaborators )Ā KNEECAP .”
