Music superstar P!nk has announced a second show at Boston's historic Fenway Park during her upcoming summer tour.

The Aug. 1 date was announced Saturday, just four days after Live Nation Entertainment revealed that P!nk's 2023 Summer Carnival Tour was first scheduled to come to the home of the Boston Red Sox on July 31.

Special guests on the Summer Carnival Tour include Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo, Grouplove and KidCutUp.

The 21-city tour begins on July 24 in Toronto and will continue through Oct. 9 in Phoenix. Fenway Park is the only tour stop in New England.

Tickets go on sale to the general public starting on Nov. 21 at 10 a.m. at LiveNation.com . Presale tickets will be available to Citi card members from Wednesday through Sunday.

Pink is going on tour in 2023, so you better get this party started.

From July through November, the beloved pop star is embarking on a massive 36-concert tour—she’s calling it “Summer Carnival 2.0” — that will take her to stadiums and ballparks all over North America.

That includes huge gigs at Boston’s Fenway Park on July 31 and Aug. 1 , New York City’s Citi Field on Aug. 3, Philadelphia’s Citizen Bank Park on Sept. 18 and New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Nov. 4.

At all shows, fans can expect to likely hear classic Pink hits like “Just Give Me A Reason,” “Try,” and “Raise Your Glass,” but that won’t be all.

In February 2023, Pink is dropping “Trustfall,” her ninth studio album. Although we don’t know much about the record, Pink told the Good Morning America crew that it’s “the best album I’ve ever made.”

Plus, major special guests Brandi Carlile, Pat Benatar with Neil Giraldo, Grouplove, and DJ Kid Cutup will join her on select dates.

Pink new album

“Trustfall,” Pink’s ninth studio album , was inspired by “a lot of devastating things (that happened).”

“It takes your kids getting sick to be like, ‘None of this matters….’ I want to only put truth in the world,” she shared. “Then, my dad died. That also is a reminder of how I have a certain amount of time left.”

While the above may sound heavy, she said the record will make listeners want to “take their clothes off and dance.”

Pink special guests

Many of Pink’s support acts joining her on the road are household names in their own right.

In the event you’re not familiar with them, here’s a quick intro to each of the stars she’s enlisted to support her on the “Summer Carnival 2.0 Tour.”

Brandi Carlile just completed her own major 2022 arena, “Beyond These Silent Days Tour.” On this run, when she supports Pink, expect the six-time Grammy winner to bust out her major hits “The Story,” “Hearts Content,” “The Joke,” and many more.

Pat Benatar with Neil Giraldo have been active since 1972. In those 50 years, Benatar has released countless anthems — “Hit Me With Your Best Shot,” “We Belong,” “Love Is A Battlefield,” “Heartbreaker,” and “Shadows Of The Night,” to name just a few— and is still going strong. Giraldo, her husband, has been playing with her for over four decades.

Grouplove is best known for its mega-hit “Tongue Tied.” Formed in Los Angeles back in 2009, the band has become an indie rock mainstay in their 13 years together. Their most recent record, “This Is This,” was praised by Tastemakers Mag for its “guitar solos and… renewed rock inspiration.”

To kick off the annual awards program, Pink, decked out in neon roller skates and a candy-colored top with plushy-encrusted sleeves, rolled from a pre-taped segment into Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater all while performing the lead single “Never Gonna Not Dance Again” off her new album.

Pink baby! Fan goes into labor at Boston concert, walks to hospital to give birth to boy

Pink had a special delivery for her opening concert at Boston's Fenway Park.

A devoted fan went into early labor just before the Summer Carnival Tour concert on July 31, walked to the closest hospital to give birth and named her baby after the "Raise Your Glass" singer's family, according to a release from Boston Brigham and Women's Hospital.

Angela Mercer was 31 weeks pregnant, far from her due date when she traveled from her home in Albany, New York, to the Boston concert, according to the release posted on the hospital's Facebook page announcing the news. The outing was a girls' trip with Mercer's sister-in-law Amy and mother Barbara.

"However, things didn’t quite go to plan," the hospital post reads. Mercer started having contractions shortly after arriving for the show and called her doctor, who advised her to get to a hospital.

With all the traffic surrounding Fenway for the concert, Mercer couldn't find a ride to the nearest hospital. So the girls' trip became a walking trek in concert apparel of about a mile to Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where Mercer gave birth to a healthy baby boy.

Pink, who has been married to Carey Hart for 17 years, has a new fan named after her family – Aycen Hart.

"Baby Aycen was born right on his grandma Barbara’s birthday," according to the hospital post. "While the family didn’t get to enjoy the concert, they say they received the greatest gift of all – a healthy baby boy."

Mercer shared her thanks to the hospital staff in the post saying she and husband Ace were "so incredibly thankful."

Nurse Moira Crowley tells USA TODAY through a hospital statement that the concert-to-hospital delivery "will most certainly be one of the most memorable births throughout my career."

"The entire family not only left us with one of the best birth stories but also endless pink sparkles throughout our hallways," Crowley added. "We are all still thinking of them on Labor & Delivery and wish everyone a speedy recovery."

USA TODAY has reached out to Pink's media representative for comment.

Pink has gone through the life spectrum on her world tour. During a concert in Hyde Park, London, a fan threw a bag seemingly containing their mother's ashes on stage. In the viral video that followed Pink paused the concert to take in the moment.

"This is your mom?" Pink can be heard asking in a video as she picked up the bag. "I don't know how I feel about this."

Pink bringing high-flying concert tour to Gillette Stadium in Foxboro

FOXBORO - Pink is ready to take a "Trustfall" at Gillette Stadium next summer.

It was announced Tuesday that the Grammy-winning pop star will bring her Summer Carnival stadium tour to Foxboro on Aug. 21 with special guests Sheryl Crow and The Script. 

"The tour's production will feature P!NK descending from the rafters, including jaw-dropping aerial acrobatics, pumping dance routines and vibrant costume changes," promoters say. 

The 44-year-old played Fenway Park earlier this year. Fan video showed Pink soaring and spinning over the ballpark in a high-wire harness as she belted out "So What."

Pink once told CBS News that she was inspired to do gymnastics when she saw Cher's dancers performing aerial silks at a concert.

"I was kicked out of gymnastics at the age of 12 and decided to be a rock star instead," Pink said.  

Her intense training regimen involves being punched in the stomach while upside-down.

"It's very physical," she said. "I'm not singing ballads upside-down, I'm scream-singing."

Tickets for the Gillette concert go on sale to the public on Monday. 

Pink made headlines last month for giving away 2,000 banned books at her Florida concerts. The books appeared on literary and free expression advocacy group Pen America's Index of Banned Books.  

"I can't imagine my own parents telling me what my kids can and cannot read, let alone someone else's parents, let alone someone else that doesn't even have children that are deciding what my children can read," Pink said.

The full pink moon occurs Tuesday night and our weather will be perfect for viewing.

The moonrise is at 7:34 p.m. for Boston and the moon is officially full at 7:49 p.m. That is the exact time the moon is positioned 180 degrees from the sun, though the moon appears full all night, and even for the next couple nights. 

Our nickname for this moon is not from the color it will appear to be, but from native first wildflowers to bloom called the moss pink or pink phlox flowers.

The Native Americans refer to this moon as the Breaking Ice or Moon of the Red Grass Appearing to reference spring thaws and the return of growth. 

This moon will appear in many shades, starting at moonrise this evening and opposite the sunset. Depending on the air pollutants or particles in the sky, it can look different shades of yellow, blue, orange, red or pink. And how close the moon is to the horizon can distort the size.

It's all an optical illusion, and a special one to catch every so often. So, grab your camera, set up with a clear view of the horizon and enjoy the peaceful show.

The pop singer-songwriter announced she is adding the Des Moines stop on Oct. 24 as part of her North American tour “Trustfall.”

Since the early 2000s, the three-time Grammy winner has been releasing hit after hit, from “Get the Party Started,” “So What,” “Raise Your Glass” and “What About Us.”
