Our adventure starts from our premises in Malia. After a safety briefing we start the trip heading the Minoa palace in Malia. As we pass through the palace and continue towards the village Sisi we will cross a  forest , pass through olive groves under the main road and continue up the mountains where we will have a great photo under the one of the biggest and the oldest (over than 800 years old) oak in the island. Then we continue to the village Vrahasi. The route snakes through the narrow village streets of Vrahasi and climbs steeply up towards the old Monastery of Agios Georgios Vrahasiotis.

The off-road track offers great opportunities for amazing photographs and breathtaking scenery . Every 30 minutes we will stop for photographs and a chance to change drivers. During this time, the guide will inform you about the places that you visit.

Our trip will continue through the village Latsida where the longest stop will be made for lunch in traditional tavern.

After eating and chatting, our trip is continuing to the village Neapoli where we visit Vasilakis olive factory where we have our friendly olive tour in award-winning Cretan olive press. After that our adventure will be complete but not over. We will go to village of Sisi in a beautiful beach for swimming and then we drive back to our base where our journey began.

Malia Quad Safari starts from our premises in Malia. After a safety briefing, we start the trip heading to the Minoa palace in Malia Crete. Overview: Malia Quad Safari: The off-road track offers great opportunities for amazing photographs and breathtaking scenery. Every 30 minutes we will stop for photographs and a chance to change drivers. During this time, the guide will inform you about the places that you visit.

Our trip will continue through the village Latsida where the longest stop will be made for lunch in a traditional tavern.

We had several stops at various viewpoints and places of interest and the highlight for us was Zeus' cave. Its quite a walk up but well worth it. It was a bit of driving but we had lots of stops to stretch our legs. Not too much driving in one go and we saw lots of different places. George, our driver and (forgive me I can’t think of the new chaps name!) were both very helpful and happy to answer any questions. George told us lots of information at each stop with some history of the island. We were lucky enough to see vultures in their nature before we got to the beach! A group of 4/5 of them too! Excursion description

Starting off we climb on an off-road terrain between olive groves through this green place full of colors, we will go quad safari on an impressive off-road route between the vineyards and to explore the Cretan nature that will amaze you!

We arrive at the monastery of Panagia Vilgiotisa where we will relax in the forest! We will then take a tour of the local olive mill where we will learn about olive oil.

A small taste test will follow! We continue through dirt roads with impressive mountains and wild nature with rich flora and fauna and unique views. A chance to pick some local herbs and become one with nature!

We have the opportunity to take amazing photos and then continue to explore beautiful parts of the offroad route, ending up for a swim in the crystal clear waters of Boufos beach in Sisi! After our bath we will have lunch in a traditional tavern relaxing!!!

We continue this adventure having fun on an amazing dynamic dusty-sandy off-road coastal route and through the narrow streets of the traditional village of Sisi.

Having experienced an incredible Gocretesafari Quad Trip in Crete and having the opportunity to learn about the authentic Cretan life, we are sure that you will come back full of amazing memories that will last a lifetime!

Buggy Safari in Crete

This tour is a special way to discover the countryside of Crete in a top buggy! You will experience the ultimate adventure, crossing gorges, in an breathtaking manner and being guided to places you have never been. Come and have a try. You will follow our experienced guide starting from our base to the archeological site, Minoa palace, where you will be shown around by a tour guide and then we continue by driving through the beautiful villages of Sissi , epano Sissi and Milatos where we will visit the Milatos cave.

The cave is large, measuring 2,100 square meters, with eight small and large entrances. It is 73 meters long, and its widest point is 63 meters. We will come across a little church built in 1935, and a memorial of those slaughtered by the Turks.

We will continue our tour by driving up the mountain and crossing some gorges. The longest stop of the tour will be made at the village of Latsida where lunch will be served in traditional tavern.

After eating and chatting, our trip will continue to the village of Neapoli where we will visit Vasilakis olive factory and have a friendly olive tour in an award-winning Cretan olive press.

After that we will drive to the village of Vrahasi in a beautiful ethnic museum where you will have the opportunity to learn about the way the local people lived in the past. Nearing the end of our tour we will continue back to Malia where we will have our final stop at a small beautiful private beach, then we will drive back to our base where our journey began.

It doesn't matter if you have never driven a buggy before as the vehicles are user-friendly, and everybody will get a detailed instruction and practice on the spot before we start our tour. What makes our tour unique is the fact that we reach the most hidden spots on the island where we meet the friendly locals. The distance of the tour is approx. 80km.

Visit and explore a traditional charming Cretan village known for its picturesque surroundings, characterised by green valleys and hills covered in olive and orange groves.

The village is nestled in a fertile valley, providing a tranquil and idyllic atmosphere to visitors. It is renowned as the birthplace of EL GRECO, the famous Renaissance painter. Our quad safari will take you right outside the house of EL GRECO where you will have the chance to see his family home and learn about his life.

Another point of interest in the beautiful village of Fodele is the 11th century church of Panagia which features traditional Byzantine architectural elements and gives a glimpse into the rich cultural and religious heritage of the Byzantine Empire.

During the visit you will have the opportunity to see this church as well as to explore the central village and have a short break for refreshments in an iconic café next to a river.

Having explored different aspects of the island through this diverse and enriching quad biking tour we take the return route back to the starting point. Descending from the mountain offers breath-taking views of the seacoast from above that are truly mesmerizing.

Buggy Safari in Crete

This tour is a special way to discover the countryside of Crete in a top buggy! You will experience the ultimate adventure, crossing gorges, in a breathtaking manner and being guided to places you have never been. Come and have a try. You will follow our experienced guide starting from our base to the archeological site, Minoa palace, where you will be shown around by a tour guide and then we continue by driving through the beautiful villages of Sissi , epano Sissi and Milatos where we will visit the Milatos cave.

The cave is large, measuring 2,100 square meters, with eight small and large entrances. It is 73 meters long, and its widest point is 63 meters. We will come across a little church built in 1935, and a memorial of those slaughtered by the Turks.

We will continue our tour by driving up the mountain and crossing some gorges. The longest stop of the tour will be made at the village of Latsida where lunch will be served in traditional tavern.

After eating and chatting, our trip will continue to the village of Neapoli where we will visit Vasilakis olive factory and have a friendly olive tour in an award-winning Cretan olive press.

After that we will drive to the village of Vrahasi in a beautiful ethnic museum where you will have the opportunity to learn about the way the local people lived in the past. Nearing the end of our tour we will continue back to Malia where we will have our final stop at a small beautiful private beach, then we will drive back to our base where our journey began.

It doesn't matter if you have never driven a buggy before as the vehicles are user-friendly, and everybody will get a detailed instruction and practice on the spot before we start our tour. What makes our tour unique is the fact that we reach the most hidden spots on the island where we meet the friendly locals. The distance of the tour is approx. 80km.
