Discover Corps has been taking travelers to far corners of the world for over a decade. Hear what a few of our Alumni have to say...
Each day I thought we had reached the high point of the trip, but then the next day always offered another rich experience. Broadening my knowledge of Peru and its people was very important. The trip exceeded any expectation that I had…the warmth, generosity, skill, knowledge of the guide, Miguel, the variety of experiences we participated in – Inka history, social projects, connection with the people, and especially the children – made for an unforgettable trip. Rainbow Mountain was one of the most deeply spiritual experiences I’ve ever had. I’m saving my money for my next Discover Corps trip!
Peru: Children of the Andes
Learn more about this trip
What makes international travel a beautiful experience for us is the opportunity to learn about the culture firsthand through its people, food, and music. Discover Corps designed this trip to Cuba with all of that in mind. We developed genuine connections with people we would have never had a chance to interact with otherwise, and the casa particular was an incredible opportunity to hone our Spanish and, for my 8-year-old daughter, to be immersed in the language for a week. Our tour guide gave us chances to make the trip our own during free-time and showed us the local perspective day after day.
Cuba: Building Bridges
What really drew me to this trip was the ability to take my children on vacation and watch them fall in love with nature. Each day, we joined our guide on a mission to track animals that we had only seen in movies. Watching my kids stare in awe as they watched elephants and rhinos play in the wild was truly priceless. Since we’ve been home, they cannot stop talking about everything they learned in South Africa.

Service Trips Abroad
What are service trips?
Service trips are purpose-driven experiences that enable you to make a difference and grow as a person. Trips are built around visiting a community to devote a short period of time to a specific cause and are brought to life by the unforgettable moments that come from meaningful volunteer work, cultural exchange and service learning.
If you’re taking a service trip abroad you don’t have to go for a long time to create positive outcomes. A month or 1 week spent volunteering on a meaningful project and immersed in the local way of life provides you with an authentic insight into the culture and allows you to connect with the greater purpose of your volunteer work. Your efforts will support and grow on the long-term impact of previous international volunteers and you’ll experience tasks relevant to a career or field of study.
If you’re a college student, gap year traveler, or teenager then taking part in service trip abroad is one of the best ways to engage in service learning. As both a student and volunteer, you’re fully immersed in the community and able to see the benefits of your work through the eyes of locals. There are also fewer distractions to water-down the learning and plenty of opportunities for post-work reflection to further cement the day’s lessons. Many volunteer programs can be used as course credit towards a qualification.
International Volunteer HQ offers service trips in the form of meaningful and trusted volunteer abroad programs. Volunteers are able to gain practical experience on a wide range of projects , in more than 50 destinations around the world . These opportunities are available from between 1-24 weeks with affordable volunteer fees from $20 (approximately $20 ) per day including accommodation.
What types of Service Trips are there?
Service trips for college students.
Service trips are the perfect opportunity for college students to gain hands on experience in a practical setting. Trips can be taken during Spring Break or Summer and Winter holidays, with programs running for 1 to 24 weeks in more than 40 countries.
Service Trips For Families
Service trips for families provide a truly life changing family vacation. It’s an experience that allows you to instill your values for service and meaningful travel, all while creating unforgettable moments with your loved ones.
Service Trips For Teens
Teens and high school students can volunteer on service trips independently, with guardians or in a supervised group setting. Choose from a range of options tailored to grow young minds and shape future leaders.
Service Trips For Adults
Are you taking a career break, hitting refresh on life, or retired? Volunteers aged 35+ have an incredible depth of knowledge and life experience which makes them awesome volunteers that can make a profound difference abroad.
Why should you take a service trip?
People who take part in service trips and service learning abroad get the reward of seeing the difference they can make, as well as the benefits of cementing theories and concepts by seeing them in action.
Many lessons are best learnt in practice - that may be using a teaching technique successfully, helping to construct a building or spending one-on-one time helping to care for the elderly. This is precisely why service learning is such a powerful way of absorbing knowledge and gaining experience. It shouldn’t be seen as a replacement for theoretical learning; service learning is an excellent supplement to textbook studies.
For students entering the workforce, there are huge benefits in being able to show practical experience. However, without a chance to get that experience, it can be a trap that’s difficult to escape. By taking service learning opportunities abroad, that important practical experience can be gained to make a résumé stand out from the rest. What’s more, the initiative to go on a service trip abroad shows drive, creativity and a willingness to learn that is attractive to employers.
Many IVHQ volunteer programs require volunteers to have qualifications or be at a certain level of study. For example, students wanting to go on many medical programs need to show relevant skills and qualifications in order to be accepted. This helps to ensure the mutual benefit of the work being suitable for the volunteer and the community.
By completing your service learning as a volunteer through IVHQ, you also get all the benefits of international travel. You’ll see iconic sights, learn about other cultures, try new food, meet new people and experience more of the world - all adding up to grow your experience as a global citizen and develop your cultural understanding.
Here at IVHQ, we are world leaders in providing service trips for groups . Our dedicated Groups Team can provide specialized itineraries and tailored group packages.
How do service trips benefit the community?
Every community faces challenges. That’s why we know that no matter where in the world you choose to travel, you can make a meaningful contribution. Communities who open themselves up to hosting volunteers are working together, across cultures, to build a better tomorrow.
The benefits for communities are clear - the community needs help and a volunteer provides it. It’s that simple. Support from a well-meaning, motivated volunteer can, and does, achieve tangible results.
The type of volunteer work that’s needed in these communities is important. It could be that volunteers are needed to support the disabled, assist local farmers or help wildlife conservation efforts. While it’s beneficial, it can be seen as less important for everyone’s day-to-day life. Without volunteers or service learners to help, a lot of this kind of work would simply not be done.
Members of these communities abroad also benefit through cross-cultural exchange. Exposure to different cultures and beliefs helps both volunteers and locals to enhance their appreciation for the world, challenge themselves with a foreign approach to life and have a better awareness for the way others live.
IVHQ volunteers also contribute to communities through volunteer fees . Volunteers pay a Program Fee which covers food, accommodation, supervision and a pick-up from the airport. This money goes into the local community and helps to keep locals employed.
It’s for reasons like these that IVHQ is a big believer in the power of meaningful travel experiences. Since 2007, IVHQ volunteers have contributed approximately 776 years of volunteer labor abroad and more than US$76 million in Program Fees which have gone directly to local communities. And, more than 136,000 volunteers have become more open-minded, expanded their purpose and uncovered their place in the world.

Health volunteering in India Based in Delhi, the biggest city in India, volunteers can work in either local hospitals or slum clinics. Both involve working in under-resourced healthcare environments alongside local professionals. Volunteering in local hospitals involves more shadowing and observational duties, while volunteering in slum clinics is more hands-on and fast-paced. Both options provide valuable learning opportunities and first-hand experience working alongside respected physicians. This project is available for medical students at any level, in a range of specialities including nursing and physical therapy.
NGO Support project in Italy NGOs in Italy operate in a wide range of fields, but all face similar challenges in terms of resources and having enough hands on deck to get things done. Based in Rome, volunteers gain valuable insight into day-to-day life working in an NGO and taking part in campaigns, workshops, marketing and research.
Conservation volunteering in Guatemala Volunteers wanting to work in conservation in Guatemala have two options to choose from - Turtle Conservation or Ego-Agriculture Conservation.
The Turtle Conservation project is perfect for those willing to roll up their sleeves to help protect endangered sea turtles and help with nest protection programs. It involves predator protection, building hatcheries, beach cleaning and all manner of duties involved in helping to increase the local turtle population.
The Eco-Agriculture Conservation project places volunteers in either a coffee or macadamia nut farm, assisting local farmers with day-to-day tasks. Farming efforts target sustainable means of production and work varies depending on the time of year. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the coal face of unique agriculture projects with experienced locals to guide and educate you.
Childcare project in Argentina - Buenos Aires This is an ideal project for those interested in childcare to help where they’re sorely needed. Volunteers are placed in local soup kitchens, working with vulnerable children and providing them a safe place to be during the day. Activities can include sports, arts and crafts and songs. Volunteers also help to provide meals for up to 45 children and teenagers at a time.
Teaching project in Romania Romania provides a well structured teaching environment for volunteers, who are placed in schools helping educate students between six to 16 years old. You’ll volunteer alongside a local teacher and support English language tuition, as well as assistance in other parts of the school curriculum. This is a very authentic teaching experience.
Special Needs Care project in Peru - Cusco Those interested in caring for the disabled or elderly can provide valuable assistance in the city of Cusco in Peru. Working in homes for mentally and physically disabled children, and the elderly, volunteers help with all aspects of personal care for those who need it. This is both rewarding and practical work, working in a hands-on capacity in a unique setting among the Peruvian Andes.

GoEco Program Review
Taking this volunteer trip to the Wildlife Sanctuary project was something I had wanted to do for several years… Literally after one day of volunteering, I was already regretting only having two weeks to stay. Every day was amazing and full of incredible experiences and new people. The days flew by as we were so busy working on the farm, hanging out and making new friends, and learning about the wildlife in a very hands on manner. The staff is very helpful, friendly, and seem just as excited to be there as the volunteers. As mind-blowing as the actual project [was], the people I met were similarly incredible. It’s crazy that in just a few weeks you can develop friendships that seem like you’ve had for years. Leaving was very emotional, but still, I can’t recommend this trip enough to anyone who is considering it or may be on the fence, seriously, do it. Having just returned home, I already miss everything that filled my days for those two weeks in South Africa. I find myself constantly looking back at photos and in the back of my mind planning a return visit as soon as possible. – Dave P, Wildlife Sanctuary, South Africa

Maximo Nivel Program Review: Alexa Hart
I went to Cusco, Peru on a one-way ticket back in 2009 and had the time of my life. Maximo was a big contributor to my positive experience. I volunteered with underprivileged kids and helped paint a battered women’s shelter. I also took inexpensive Spanish lessons with them. The accommodation they provided was great (I recommend Arcopata Family House). I lived with fellow participants of the program in a house and was provided really good meals. When I got sick, they had a doctor come to the house to check on me and give me medicine too. After volunteering, I became TEFL certified with them during a 4-week course. All in all, I was very impressed, and I would recommend them to anyone. The experience changed my life.

Beyond Volunteering: Internships, Teaching, and More
Moreover, for those eyeing internships, destinations like Peru, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Ghana, Nepal, and Sri Lanka offer openings in the medical , teaching, physiotherapy, dental, and nursing fields. IVI’s internships guarantee specific hours, and for university placements, the necessary documentation and supervisor approvals are given. Although IVI doesn’t provide paid teaching abroad, they offer teaching projects at almost every destination, catering to various age groups, predominantly aged 3-12.
Family and Group Adventures
Whether one is a solo adventurer, a family unit , a group, or a teen, IVI has projects tailored to fit each need. Their family-friendly ventures encompass kindergarten teaching, construction, environmental initiatives, and animal care projects. For larger groups, IVI presents specialized itineraries combining volunteering programs with engaging activities, making them an ideal choice for school groups.
For volunteers aged 16-17, a signed parental consent from their guardians is a prerequisite. Some of IVI’s projects also accommodate younger kids, ensuring they remain under parental or guardian watch.

“I participated in the Elephant Camp Program in Chiang Mai, Thailand . Before arriving in Thailand, I was a bit apprehensive and nervous , however after arriving in Chiang Mai, everything went smoothly. I dad a very informative orientation session with the local team. The Chiang Mai city tour was fab too!
My 3 weeks stay at the elephant camp was definitely the highlight of my Thailand trip. I enjoyed meeting other volunteers from around the world and getting involved in different tasks at the elephant camp. First Things Foundations (FTF)
First Things Foundation (FTF) is a non-profit organization that partners with local leaders to build sustainable businesses and communities in developing countries. FTF is different from other volunteer organizations in that its field workers (international volunteers) commit two years of their lives to living in the communities they are serving; all expenses are fully covered by the program . This allows field workers to develop deep relationships with the people they are working with and to better understand the needs of the community.
FTF has 15 projects in 4 countries ( Guatemala , Sierra Leone , the Republic of Georgia , and Mozambique ). These projects are all led by locals in the communities that FTF works in. FTF’s field workers have worked on a variety of projects, including starting businesses, building schools, and providing healthcare. FTF field workers are not afraid to get their hands dirty: working on farms, sanding wood, and kneading dough are some of the ways that they integrate into the local community and become familiar with a new rhythm of life.
FTF covers all travel costs and operations expenses (food, local transport, accommodation, etc.) for its field workers. In addition, field workers receive a monthly stipend of $375. FTF also has international medical and evacuation insurance for all of its field workers.
FTF is looking for volunteers with a desire to better their souls by undertaking a serious challenge, an adventurous attitude, and a willingness to learn new languages, make fun of themselves, and be made fun of. A Broader View Program Review: Logan, Honduras Medical Program
I had a great time in La Ceiba, Honduras. I did not feel unsafe or threatened at any time. My work was great and fulfilling at both the old hospital and the school. My host family was excellent and accommodating, and the food – especially the local food – was very delectable. All of the people, from the children to the patients at the hospital were very nice and respectful. I had a lot of fun with the other volunteers and I highly recommend being outgoing and personable… it will make you life way easier if you can hang out with friends and commiserate after a long day of work. I had very good Spanish entering into the program, but after 2 weeks of immersion my Spanish is crisp and fluent; I truly valued the ABV experience as a life-changing event. I am willing to speak with others about my experience.

Naturally Africa Volunteers Program Review
My time in Malawi was amazing. Meg, Sam and Aug were the main reason. They provided a balanced view on how to go about my role as a volunteer. I can not describe how inspired I was by the whole trip and the staff at the cottage. The structure of the project was brilliant. You can clearly see the priorities. Keeping a good relationship with the village population and the elders was their main focus. Providing amazing support to the wound clinics, HIV support groups, nursery and home based care groups was incredible. I am very lucky I was part of the development of the different village I visited. At the weekends I got to experience other parts of Malawi. Like the landscape and culture outside the village. I wish I could have stayed for longer. I hope to return to Malawi in the near future. – Maria, March 2015

“GIVE changed my entire life. From the very first day of reaching the island of Zanzibar, I saw the world in a different light. The cliche expectations of serving others and volunteering were achieved but I had no idea that I would experience the best 2 weeks of my life. Giving is a lot more than monetary handouts. If you want to change the world, go and get your hands a little dirty. But trust me when I say that the locals will help you more than you could ever help them. Don’t sit and wonder what it’s like or ask others what it’s like. Go. Go and give your time and effort with the best organization you could find.” – Chase, Tanzania.

This trip gives you the opportunity to be in remote villages that no other tourist will experience. You’re surrounded by Thai culture and learn some of the language. If you want to be immersed and experience Thailand with strangers that become best friends, I recommend GIVE. ” – Daija, Thailand

“I have never been so affected by a trip or a group of people in my life. GIVE has offered me the chance to grow as a person and help others who I believe are deserving of every possible opportunity I have, and they have given me more than I thought I would receive. They have given me a new family, a new home, and a new mission and passion in life… I have learned more about myself and who I am. I now am part of a community that will forever be connected worldwide…I have been abroad before and have done volunteer work in the past but nothing compares to this trip and these people” – Alexandra, Nicaragua

“This trip was a life changing experience to have. You get to immerse yourself in the culture and learn something new every minute you’re there. You get to meet locals and natives of Hawai’i and learn their stories and ancestry lineage and work with them in helping with bringing back their culture. Wither by helping on sustainable farms or cleaning up on beach sides, you get to become connected to the land and the people you’re helping. You also get to meet new people from around the world and hear about why they are also there to help and what their own stories are as well. It is an eye opening and life changing experience and it is worth the time and effort that is put into getting on the trip” – Hailey, Hawai’i

I was able to learn more about the Snoqualmie tribe while responsibly working and recreating in their landscape. The people I’ve met are so special and as passionate as I am! “I completed the WILD course this past March, and it was one of the best experiences I have ever had as a student. I honestly did not think I could learn as much as I did within one week, and the course was a perfect balance of learning and fun. Not only did we get to learn in the classroom, but we would venture out into the Cascade Mountains and do real-time Wilderness First Aid scenarios, which solidified our knowledge of the topics we discussed. The lodge staff was so kind and went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay, and the fellow students I met during the course were awesome and we have stayed in-touch with one another since! Those running the course were not only great teachers, but created an inspiring, nurturing, and fun environment for each student to step into their own leadership roles.” – Haylie, WILD

- Our Mission & Methodology
GIVE’s Mission: To inspire growth, empower global citizens, and ignite sustainable change worldwide .
Give’s promise: people, projects & principles above profit.
With over 10 million people volunteering abroad each year and more than a thousand different organizations offering volunteer programs abroad, it’s no surprise that one of the most common questions we hear is, “What makes GIVE different?” In fact, it was this very question that inspired GIVE’s founding in 2011. After witnessing the good, the bad and the downright ugly sides of the volunteer tourism industry, we ultimately determined that there is real potential for international volunteers to have positive impacts in lower-income countries, but it would require a fresh, focused approach to truly foster sustainable change. That’s why we’ve made a lasting commitment to put people, projects and principles above profit. SEE MORE
GIVE’s Family: Happy People Sail Fast
This principle is clearly manifested in both our host community members and volunteers, and it all starts with our unrivaled team of staff. The GIVE family is a concept we’ve fostered since day one, as we’ve established a clear pipeline for international staff to learn and grow over several years of experience in the field. All of our international staff started as GIVE volunteers, gained necessary certifications and skill sets during GIVE’s WILD course, went on to increase their involvement as in-country interns, and are now facilitating an unparalleled volunteer experience as GIVE Guides and Project Coordinators. We are also proud to employ local Guides and Project Coordinators in each of our destinations, who act as a critical link between our volunteers and the communities we empower. These are truly some of the most passionate, responsible and inspiring human beings on the planet! SEE MORE.

Do you daydream in class about busting out of your seat and actually learning from the world around you? Service trips are an amazing way to make an impact and change your own perspective in the process.
Experiential learning might not be in your average school curriculum, but when on a service trip, you will learn skills as varied as mixing concrete, caring for elephants, or surviving in the wilderness. Plus, a service trip that involves travel is both a great way to bring your next geography, language, or history course closer to home, as well as to create a more dynamic future resume or personal statement.
While there are a million causes to choose between when it comes to dedicating your time, you won’t run out of inspiration once you choose a service trip adventure.
The sun always rises on service trips in the DR.
What are service trips?
Volunteer service trips are full immersive experiences that will challenge you to surpass your comfort zone, learn about a different environment, and give back as you create a brand new sense of community.
Each service trip typically revolves around a theme that ties together travel, volunteer work, community engagement, and cultural exchange. For example, environmentally-minded travelers might gravitate towards turtle conservation in Costa Rica while future doctors or public health practitioners might head to Zambia to aid in medical relief. In the process of giving back and working alongside local communities, you’ll gain a tangible understanding of a local or global issue through seminars or presentations, group activities, and tours to relevant sites.
Let us do the work for you — get matched with service trips
What’s the difference between service trips and volunteering abroad.
Service trips and volunteer abroad opportunities differ in two major ways. Firstly, service trips are generally offered in groups of participants, whereas volunteer abroad opportunities can be open to individuals who wish to participate in ongoing volunteer efforts.
Service trips are organized for groups of students or professionals of a particular age or background, so they offer more comprehensive support and guidance when it comes to travel, supervision, visas and insurance, and program activity. They are then a great stepping stone for you if you’d like to do more independent volunteering abroad in the future.
Once you’ve participated in service trips abroad, you’ll have all the logistical experience to partner with an organization in the future and create your own personal program both before and during your volunteer abroad experience.
Secondly, because service trips operate with more of this programmed structure, they also provide more of a structured educational background to your volunteer activity. Rather than just working with one volunteer organization of your chosen passion, a service trip might introduce you to several communities and volunteer opportunities in the given time frame that all tie into your general theme of exploration. In addition, the planned activities outside of your direct service hours will also inform your understanding and provide different perspectives for you to consider.

Are all service trips abroad ?
If you feel passionate about a particular issue in your country or simply want to give back closer to home, service trips are definitely NOT restricted to faraway destinations. Instead, search for programs or create your own to dive into your passion in your home country. A non-international service trip is an amazing way to gain a deeper understanding about your own nation or to explore a different region or environment.
Are you from a rural area? Look into service trips abroad that focus on urban education or agriculture. Are you from the mainland United States? Check out programs in Hawaii or Alaska that will give you a totally different understanding of what it means to be American in the 49th and 50th states. Even if your service trip adventure takes you only a short trip from wherever you call home, what matters is how much both you give and take from the experience.

How can i find service trips.
While there are more and more volunteer service trips offered each year, finding the right adventure for your interests and goals takes some dedicated research. Start your search by asking people you know, whether that means friends, older family members, friends of friends, or advisors at your school or university.
Connecting with alumni who have already done a program with a particular organization is a great way to get the inside scoop and see if you are passionate about the destination and theme and if you will feel comfortable with the agenda. Then hit up Google and GoAbroad to check out up-to-date program details and stalk all the amazing photos of your peers engaging with the wonders of the world.
If you’re concerned about financing your service trip, there are plenty of scholarships or creative fundraising ideas to explore. Whether applying or asking for funding, it’s important to consider your goals for why your chosen service trip matters to you and why you want to invest your time to this particular cause. Brainstorm what you hope to contribute during your trip and what you hope to gain and do after to continue your dedication to this cause. Even if these thoughts first cross your mind to gain funding, they’ll also inform, shape, and guide you as you embark on your service trip with intention and focus.

Who can do service trips abroad?
Lucky for the world, age is just a number when it comes to finding service trips abroad. There are hoards of different programs catering to different needs. Popular ones include…
- Service trips for high school students. Many high schools across the U.S. will coordinate independent service trips for teens. These are typically short-term and highly supervised, often including a homestay and structured projects.
- Service trips for college students. Different university organizations or religious institutions will coordinate service trips abroad for college students, generally over semester breaks. Alternative spring breaks are common.
- Service trips for young adults. If you’re a young professional who wants to use your precious vacation time to give back, consider finding service trips for young adults. The older we get, the less intense the supervision will be, allowing you to grow as an individual and traveler while still contributing meaningful work.
- Service trips for adults. These cater to the 35+ crowd and offer less hands-on babysitting than programs for youngsters without sacrificing social opportunities and impactful projects.
[The ABC’s of Volunteer Trips Abroad]
The coolest service trips on every continent.
Once you’ve picked your passion, now it’s time to determine your destination. Don’t just spin a globe and blindly point! Take a moment to research where your service interest and wanderlust intersect to get and give the most impact during service trips for young adults.

Community service with tft, innovative service projects.
Service trips for teens should be meaningful, have an impact on the community, and go beyond what you have ever imagined possible, so we offer numerous unique service programs! Help at a famous national park in the Cinque Terre in Italy , build playgrounds in South Africa , or nurse endangered animals back to health in Costa Rica .
Teamwork is Key
Our Community Service trips emphasize working together to reach a common goal. Learning to work together to take on challenges is a valuable life skill teens on our programs develop. At the end of your program you will have accomplished goals, solved problems, and worked together on important projects.
Individual Growth
Our hands-on projects not only benefit the communities in which we volunteer, but they also help our students achieve personal growth and development. Teens feel empowered and ready to take on the world after seeing the positive impact they can have.
Celebrate Cultures
Traveling should be about more than just seeing. It’s about experiencing! Which is why for every program we focus on cultural immersion . We want you to gain a better understanding and appreciation of each culture and take something deeper away from your experience.
New Perspectives
Traveling provides the incredible opportunity to see things from a new perspective. Our programs highlight this and we live by the motto: it’s not strange, it’s just different! At the end of your time abroad you may discover you love some of the customs from different cultures such as leisurely strolls after dinner and fresh croissants for breakfast.
Staff Who Become Best Friends
All of our staff are chosen not just because they are experts in the countries we visit, but because they are also fun and relatable! It’s important you enjoy hanging out with your counselors , and we look forward to hanging out with you too!

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Will Travel to Nigeria to Support the Invictus Games
By Erin Vanderhoof
In May, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will embark on some major travel in support of the Invictus Games, the biennial sporting event for wounded veterans that Harry helped to found in 2014. On Monday, the Invictus Games Foundation announced that Harry will head to the UK to attend a service of thanksgiving in honor of the organization’s 10th anniversary at St Paul’s Cathedral. Later in May, Meghan will join him for a trip to Nigeria by request of the country’s government. The trip will be the couple’s first official international tour since leaving their royal roles in 2020.
On May 8, the Invictus Games ceremony will be led by St Paul’s dean, the Very Reverend Andrew Tremlett, and actor Damian Lewis will read the Invictus poem, which gave the games their name. According to the Daily Mail , Harry is likely to stay in a hotel, as he has on his last few visits to the country. During previous visits to the UK, his wife and children, Lili and Archie, have not joined due to his ongoing concern over his security arrangements in the country.
Later in the month, Harry and Meghan will travel to Nigeria to meet with service members and participate in other cultural activities. In a statement, the country’s acting director of defense information, Tukur Gusau, explained the purpose of the couple’s trip. “The Defense Headquarters has expressed its honor and delight for the acceptance of the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, and his wife, the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan, to visit Nigerian in May 2024,” it read . “The visit is to consolidate Nigeria's strong hold at the game and the possibility of hosting the event in later years.”
Nigeria sent its first delegation of wounded veterans to last year’s Games in Düsseldorf , and competitors for the country came home with a gold medal in powerlifting and a bronze in table tennis. During the games, they were joined by the country’s defense minister, Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar Badaru. According to Gusau, the minister expressed that he would be interested in hosting a future edition of the Games in the country.
In Harry’s comments during the opening ceremony, he referenced the new additions, adding he thought his wife would support Nigeria during the games. “Now, I'm not saying we play favorites in our home,” he said . “But since my wife discovered that she's of Nigerian descent, it's likely to get a little bit competitive this year.” In a 2022 episode of her podcast Archetypes, Meghan told Nigerian-American comedian Ziwe Fumudoh that a DNA test had revealed that she was 43% Nigerian.
The 2025 Invictus Games are set to take place in Vancouver and Whistler, Canada next February and will feature the addition of winter sports for the first time. Earlier this year , Meghan and Harry traveled to the region to visit with competitors preparing for next year’s games at a training camp.

Whatever your travel needs for the season ahead, odds are that a good tote can make your packing life more organized, and less stressful—honestly, what more could you hope for? With that in mind, we've scoured the internet for the more durable, functional travel totes for every type of traveler, from the serial overpacker to the organization fiend. Here, our favorite finds for all of your journeys.
Perpetually trying to find space in your carry-on for one last thing? Meet what one T&C editor calls, "the personal item of every overpacker's dream." Featuring five exterior pockets, plus six on the interior and an detachably pouch, it will keep all of your travel essentials organized while it's sturdy-yet-lightweight construction makes it easy to tuck in "just in case" items to your hearts desire without overwhelming your arms.
The cushy, reinforced straps are easy on the shoulders, but it also has a detachable crossbody strap and a built-in sleeve to slip over the handle of your luggage if you don't feel like toting. It also comes in four sizes (we're fond of the medium for it's ability to hold oodles of stuff while still slipping neatly beneath the seat in front of you on a plane) and a seasonally-refreshed roster of more than a dozen shades, making it as stylish as it is functional.
Lo & Sons Catalina Deluxe Tote
For the "a place for everything and everything in its place" traveler, this tote has you covered with a zippered bottom pocket that's perfect for separating out toiletries or dirty shoes from the rest of your haul (an interior panel also allows you to open the bottom compartment fully, if you're craving a deeper bag.)
Available in recycled poly or sturdy canvas, at 15" x 14" x 7", it qualifies as a personal item for most airlines and has a handy luggage sleeve to pair with your suitcase. For those looking for larger options, it comes in four additional sizes as well.
Cuyana bags are a favorite of T&C editors and royals alike ( Meghan Markle is a big fan ) for their timelessly stylish silhouettes, buttery soft leather, and effortless functionality. This, their latest launch, is made specifically with travel in mind.
Crafted with lightweight, durable pebbled leather (currently available in four colorways) it offers ample interior space (a 37L volume, to be precise) plus two large pockets, a phone slip, and a key clip, as well as snaps for Cuyana devotees who want to mix in their System Flap Bag or System Zipper Pouch .
If you're more of a "shop when you get there" traveler, this bag brings the souvenir space without taking up lots of room in your primary bag. Water-repellant and roomy (it holds 32L by volume) it features rugged shoulder straps, plus an extra strap that lets it slip over the handle of roller luggage, and can fold into its own exterior pouch when not in use to make a tidy, handheld bundle.
Some things are classic for a reason. Case in point: this timeless Longchamp tote; just ask T&C 's associate shopping editor, Sophie Dweck, who's been carrying hers for over a decade . Made from sleek, easy-to-clean nylon that comes in a cornucopia of colors, it features a simple, spacious interior and strong leather straps that ensure it can stand up to anything your travels throw at it, and look good doing it.
Looking for a tote that's as useful in your day-to-day as it is when you're far away? This multi-use tote has racked up thousands of five-star reviews on Amazon for its versatility. A separate, vented shoe compartment makes it as friendly to gym sessions as beach trips, while its multiple pockets keep essentials organized. It also includes a luggage strap and a USB charging port so you can plug in your tech without rummaging through your bag for your battery pack, and comes in two sizes and almost 30 shades so it will match your travel style.
One reviewer writes: "I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every way! This bag is the perfect blend of style and functionality, making it a must-have for any woman on the go."
Type-A packers, take note: this 100% recycled polyester is all about options. Its four colorways can be worn crossbody, carried in hand, or over the shoulder, and include a zippered exterior pocket, a luggage sleeve, two water bottle holders, and a padded laptop sleeve—all with Everlane's signature modern minimalist vibe.
Available in 20 colorways and textures, this canvas tote features a luggage sleeve that also doubles as a tech pouch so your gadgets will always be at the ready. The sturdy construction and bargain price tag have made it a hit with reviewers, who site its roomy 16.5" x 9" x 14" size and comfort.
One reviewer writes: "I am so happy with this purchase! Reasonable price, large main compartment, and a few zip compartments to organize smaller items. Bag fits perfectly under airline seat, even when stuffed FULL. It stayed in place when I had it on top of my roller bag, and I noticed the shape of it kept it from making everything tip forward (which happened with my previous bag)."
For a travel bag that you can use as a purse all trip, this simple Madewell leather tote brings a perfect mix of style and space (12.75" x 12.75" x 7.5".) It even comes with an interior strap that allows you to change the shape, and doubles as a keyring.
True L.L. Bean lovers know that the brand's classic Boat and Tote bag is hard to beat—after all, it's been one of their signature styles since 1944. Crafted from rugged cotton canvas, it's tested to hold up to 500 pounds, so no matter how much you manage to overpack, this bag is guaranteed to take it on. And with four sizes and two interior lengths to choose from, as well as a dozen colors, there's a perfect one for all your needs.

Biden-Harris Administration Invests $105 Million in Community-Based Organizations to Improve Maternal and Infant Health Across the Country
Healthy Start funding will better support moms and babies to improve health in communities experiencing high disparities in maternal and infant health outcomes
Announcement made in Atlanta, GA, the second stop of HRSA’s year-long Enhancing Maternal Health Initiative
Today, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), announced $105 million in funding to support more than 100 community-based organizations working to improve maternal and infant health. HRSA Administrator Carole Johnson highlighted the news during a visit to Southside Medical Center, a new Healthy Start awardee, in Atlanta, Georgia. Georgia is the second stop on HRSA’s national Enhancing Maternal Health Initiative tour. Today’s Healthy Start funding announcement will support the health care and social needs of moms and babies in high need communities to help improve community health and tackle the unacceptable disparities in maternal and infant health outcomes.
“Maternal health is a fundamental human right and every mother deserves access to quality care and support. Having a safe and healthy pregnancy and birth shouldn’t depend on the color of your skin, what language you speak at home, or where you live,” said HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra. “We know that by expanding access to proven health care best practices we can help moms and their children thrive. That’s why the Biden-Harris Administration continues to support organizations working to improve maternal and infant health, especially in communities most at risk of poor outcomes.”
“At the Health Resources and Services Administration, we know that healthy babies begin with healthy moms,” said HRSA Administrator Carole Johnson. “Today’s $105 million investment in our Healthy Start Program is essential to implementing the Biden-Harris Administration’s Blueprint for Addressing the Maternal Health Crisis . Through these Healthy Start awards we will support on-the-ground, community-based organizations who will work every day to help expecting and new moms get the health care and key supports – like transportation to prenatal care and food assistance – they need to have healthy pregnancies and healthy babies.”
Healthy Start is a HRSA-funded program that focuses on improving the well-being of expecting mothers and those who have just given birth, addressing needs in communities with infant mortality rates that are 1.5 times the national average or greater, and combatting the disparities in outcomes that have resulted in higher mortality rates for Black and Indigenous women and infants of color. Healthy Start Programs are able to tailor services to community needs, including by supporting culturally responsive health care services, food assistance, emergency supplies, transportation to care, housing navigation, and other critical social supports. Healthy Start also supports clinical service providers and other key members of the workforce, including mental health professionals, doulas, nutritionists, social workers, case managers and other community health workers.
HRSA’s Enhancing Maternal Health Initiative is focused on accelerating HRSA’s maternal health work to address maternal mortality and maternal health disparities in partnership with women, grantees, community organizations, and state and local health officials across the country. HRSA is the arm of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) that funds state and local community efforts to improve maternal and child health; invests in sustaining and expanding maternal health care services in rural communities; funds training and loan repayment to support the next generation of the health workforce including obstetricians (OBs), midwives and community-based doulas; provides community-based maternal health care in high need communities regardless of individuals’ ability to pay through HRSA-funded community health centers; and, runs the National Maternal Mental Health Hotline at 833-TLC-MAMA. The Enhancing Maternal Health Initiative is working in areas of the country with high maternal mortality rates where HRSA has programs that can work together to help advance better outcomes, including Arizona, Alabama, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Montana, North Carolina, Oregon, and the District of Columbia.

More than 10,000 London black-cab drivers launch £250m Uber lawsuit
Individuals could win £25,000 or more if they are successful in claim Uber broke taxi booking rules
More than 10,500 of London’s black-cab drivers have launched a £250m legal case against Uber, accusing it of breaking the capital’s taxi booking rules and deliberately misleading authorities to secure a licence.
The case, which has been filed in the high court in London by the litigation management firm RGL, resurrects a claim first raised five years ago, related to the way the ride-hailing app operated in London between 2012 and 2018.
Cabbies allege that Uber allowed drivers to take bookings directly from customers rather than through a centralised system such as those used by minicab services, in a direct breach of private hire rules.
They allege Uber was aware of the rules and deliberately misled Transport for London (TfL) about its booking model in order to obtain an operating licence and take business from black-cab drivers.
Uber has denied the allegations and says the claim is unfounded.
The drivers, who are being advised by the law firm Mishcon de Reya, argue in their suit that they faced unfair competition, and lost out on customers and income, as a result.
Garry White, a black-cab driver of 36 years, said: “This claim seeks justice and fair compensation on behalf of cab drivers across London. Uber seems to believe it is above the law and cabbies across London have suffered loss of earnings because of it. It is time they were held to account.”
RGL said that if the cabbies were successful in their claim they could secure more than £250m, with individuals potentially winning £25,000 or more.
An Uber spokesperson said: “These old claims are completely unfounded. Uber operates lawfully in London, is fully licensed by TfL , and is proud to serve millions of passengers and drivers across the capital.”
It marks the latest bout of legal trouble for Uber. In March, the San Francisco-based company reached an A$272m settlement (£142m) to compensate taxi and hire-car drivers who said they lost out when the company “aggressively” moved into the Australian market.
after newsletter promotion
That class action, which was launched five years ago, was filed on behalf of 8,000 taxi and hire-car owners and drivers, who argued that Uber X launched in Australia with the intention of hurting their business. The suit also alleged that the company used unlicensed cars with unaccredited drivers in a “conspiracy by unlawful means” and misled regulators.
Dale Forwood, a black-cab driver of 12 years, said he hoped the London case would bring justice for local cabbies. “I am delighted to see this claim being filed today and that we will finally have our day in court,” he said. “Having seen for myself the harm that Uber’s unlawful behaviour has caused to hard-working cabbies, I look forward to justice being served.”

Could Trump Go to Prison? If He Does, the Secret Service Goes, Too
Officials have had preliminary discussions about how to protect the former president in the unlikely event that he is jailed for contempt during the trial.
- Share full article
By William K. Rashbaum
The U.S. Secret Service is in the business of protecting the president, whether he’s inside the Oval Office or visiting a foreign war zone.
But protecting a former president in prison? The prospect is unprecedented. That would be the challenge if Donald J. Trump — whom the agency is required by law to protect around the clock — is convicted at his criminal trial in Manhattan and sentenced to serve time.
Even before the trial’s opening statements, the Secret Service was in some measure planning for the extraordinary possibility of a former president behind bars. Prosecutors had asked the judge in the case to remind Mr. Trump that attacks on witnesses and jurors could land him in jail even before a verdict is rendered.
(The judge, who held a hearing Tuesday morning to determine whether Mr. Trump should be held in contempt for violating a gag order, is far more likely to issue a warning or impose a fine before taking the extreme step of jailing the 77-year-old former president. It was not immediately clear when he would issue his ruling.)
Last week, as a result of the prosecution’s request, officials with federal, state and city agencies had an impromptu meeting about how to handle the situation, according to two people with knowledge of the matter.
That behind-the-scenes conversation — involving officials from the Secret Service and other relevant law enforcement agencies — focused only on how to move and protect Mr. Trump if the judge were to order him briefly jailed for contempt in a courthouse holding cell, the people said.
The far more substantial challenge — how to safely incarcerate a former president if the jury convicts him and the judge sentences him to prison rather than home confinement or probation — has yet to be addressed directly, according to some of a dozen current and former city, state and federal officials interviewed for this article.
That’s at least in part because if Mr. Trump is ultimately convicted, a drawn-out and hard-fought series of appeals, possibly all the way up to the U.S. Supreme Court, is almost a certainty. That would most likely delay any sentence for months if not longer, said several of the people, who noted that a prison sentence was unlikely.
But the daunting challenge remains. And not just for Secret Service and prison officials, who would face the logistical nightmare of safely incarcerating Mr. Trump, who is also the presumptive Republican nominee for President.
“Obviously, it’s uncharted territory,” said Martin F. Horn, who has worked at the highest levels of New York’s and Pennsylvania’s state prison agencies and served as commissioner of New York City’s correction and probation departments. “Certainly no state prison system has had to deal with this before, and no federal prison has had to either.”
Steven Cheung, the communications director for Mr. Trump’s campaign, said the case against the former president was “so spurious and so weak” that other prosecutors had refused to bring it, and called it “an unprecedented partisan witch hunt.”
“That the Democrat fever dream of incarcerating the nominee of the Republican Party has reached this level exposes their Stalinist roots and displays their utter contempt for American democracy,” he said.
Protecting Mr. Trump in a prison environment would involve keeping him separate from other inmates, as well as screening his food and other personal items, officials said. If he were to be imprisoned, a detail of agents would work 24 hours a day, seven days a week, rotating in and out of the facility, several officials said. While firearms are obviously strictly prohibited in prisons, the agents would nonetheless be armed.
Former corrections officials said there were several New York state prisons and city jails that have been closed or partly closed, leaving wings or large sections of their facilities empty and available. One of those buildings could serve to incarcerate the former president and accommodate his Secret Service protective detail
Anthony Guglielmi, the spokesman for the Secret Service in Washington, declined in a statement to discuss specific “protective operations.” But he said that federal law requires Secret Service agents to protect former presidents, adding that they use state-of-the-art technology, intelligence and tactics to do so.
Thomas J. Mailey, a spokesman for New York State’s prison agency, said his department couldn’t speculate about how it would treat someone who has not yet been sentenced, but that it has a system “to assess and provide for individuals’ medical, mental health and security needs.” Frank Dwyer, a spokesman for the New York City jails agency, said only that “the department would find appropriate housing” for the former president.
The trial in Manhattan, one of four criminal cases pending against Mr. Trump and possibly the only one that will go to a jury before the election, centers on accusations he falsified records to cover up a sex scandal involving a porn star. The former president is charged with 34 counts of felony falsifying business records. If convicted, the judge in the case, Juan M. Merchan, could sentence him to punishments ranging from probation to four years in state prison, though for a first-time offender of Mr. Trump’s age, such a term would be extreme.
If Mr. Trump is convicted, but elected president again, he could not pardon himself because the prosecution was brought by New York State.
Under normal circumstances, any sentence of one year or less, colloquially known as “city time,” would generally be served on New York City’s notorious Rikers Island, home to the Department of Correction’s seven jails. (That’s where Mr. Trump’s former chief financial officer, Allen H. Weisselberg, 76, is currently serving his second five-month sentence for crimes related to his work for his former boss.)
Any sentence of more than a year, known as state time, would generally be served in one of the 44 prisons run by New York State’s Department of Corrections and Community Supervision.
The former president could also be sentenced to a term of probation, raising the bizarre possibility of the former commander in chief reporting regularly to a civil servant at the city’s Probation Department.
He would have to follow the probation officer’s instructions and answer questions about his work and personal life until the term of probation ended. He would also be barred from associating with disreputable people, and if he committed any additional crimes, he could be jailed immediately.
Maggie Haberman contributed reporting.

The application period runs from April 22, 2024, to June 12, 2024. The funding and the period of performance for the grant will be Jan. 1, 2025, to Dec. 31, 2025.
“Low Income Taxpayer Clinics make a tremendous impact on the lives of taxpayers. Especially, for those with the most need,” said National Taxpayer Advocate Erin M. Collins. “I encourage all qualifying organizations to apply for an LITC grant and join the community of clinics across the country that are making a real difference and changing lives.”
Under Internal Revenue Code section 7526, the IRS awards matching grants to qualifying organizations to develop, expand or maintain an LITC. For every dollar of funding awarded by the IRS, an LITC must have a dollar of match. An LITC must provide services for free or for no more than a nominal fee (except for reimbursement of actual costs incurred).
LITCs ensure the fairness and integrity of the tax system for taxpayers by:
- Providing pro bono representation to assist low-income taxpayers in resolving tax disputes with the IRS;
- Educating taxpayers for whom English is a second language (ESL taxpayers) about their rights and responsibilities as taxpayers; and
- Identifying and advocating on issues that impact these taxpayers.
For fiscal year 2024, Congress has provided overall LITC grant funding of $28 million and has authorized funding of up to $200,000 per clinic. The President’s FY 2025 budget request proposes an overall LITC grant funding level of $26 million and a continuation of the $200,000 per-clinic funding cap. In light of the President’s budget request and the uncertain timeline for final congressional action, the IRS will allow applicants to request up to $200,000 for the 2025 grant year. If, for FY 2025, Congress significantly reduces the overall LITC grant funding level or reduces the per-clinic funding cap, the IRS will adjust each grant recipient’s award to reflect any limitations in place at that time.
To achieve maximum access to justice for low-income and ESL taxpayers, the IRS has expanded the eligibility criteria for a grant by removing the requirement for eligible organizations to provide direct controversy representation. Representation may be provided by referring taxpayers to qualified representatives who have agreed to handle the referred cases on a pro bono basis.
The IRS will also continue the ESL Education Pilot Program that was rolled out as part of the February 2023 supplemental funding opportunity. A grant may be awarded to an organization to operate a program to inform ESL taxpayers about their rights and responsibilities under the IRC without the requirement to also provide tax controversy representation to low-income taxpayers. See IRS Publication 3319, 2025 Grant Application Package and Guidelines PDF for examples of what constitutes a “clinic.”
Despite the IRS's efforts to foster parity in availability and accessibility when choosing organizations to receive LITC matching grants, there remain communities that are underserved by clinics. Currently, the following counties, states and territory do not have an LITC or have only partial coverage:
- Florida – Citrus, Hamilton, Hernando, Lafayette, Madison, Nassau, St. Johns, Sumter, Suwannee, Taylor, Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Volusia counties.
- Hawaii – the entire state.
- Kansas – the entire state.
- Montana – Blaine, Broadwater, Carbon, Carter, Custer, Daniels, Dawson, Deer Lodge, Fallon, Fergus, Flathead, Garfield, Golden Valley, Granite, Jefferson, Judith Basin, Lincoln, Madison, McCone, Mineral, Missoula, Musselshell, Petroleum, Phillips, Pondera, Powder River, Powell, Prairie, Richland, Sanders, Sheridan, Stillwater, Sweet Grass, Toole, Treasure, Valley, Wheatland and Wibaux counties.
- Nevada – the entire state.
- North Dakota – the entire state.
- South Dakota – the entire state.
- West Virginia – the entire state.
- The territory of Puerto Rico – the entire country.
The IRS is particularly interested in receiving applications from organizations that provide services in these underserved geographic areas. Priority will be given to established organizations that can help provide coverage to underserved geographic areas. For the ESL Education Pilot Program, special consideration will be given to established organizations with existing community partnerships that can deliver services to the target audiences.
The LITC Program is administered by the Office of the Taxpayer Advocate at the IRS, led by National Taxpayer Advocate Erin M. Collins. Although LITCs receive partial funding from the IRS, LITCs, their employees and their volunteers operate independently of the IRS.
Applications must be submitted electronically by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on June 12, 2024. The funding number is TREAS-GRANTS-042025-001.
Copies of IRS Publication 3319, 2025 Grant Application Package and Guidelines PDF , can be downloaded from IRS.gov or ordered by calling 800-TAX-FORM (800-829-3676). To assist organizations in applying for funding, a "Reminders and Tips for Completing Form 13424-M" document is available on the LITC grants page.

Oracle Introduces New AI Capabilities to Help Organizations Boost Sales
New AI capabilities in Oracle Cloud CX help marketers, sellers, and service agents, improve customer satisfaction, increase productivity, and accelerate deal cycles
Oracle today announced new artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities within Oracle Fusion Cloud Customer Experience (CX) to help marketers, sellers, and service agents accelerate deal cycles. The new AI capabilities will help organizations generate more sales faster by automating time-consuming tasks and enabling front office professionals to more precisely target, engage, and serve buyers.
“AI is continuously proving its ability to enhance user experiences and we are only beginning to see what this technology can do for customer service, sales, and marketing,” said Katrina Gosek, vice president of product strategy, Oracle Cloud CX. “The new AI capabilities embedded within Oracle Cloud CX will enable organizations to enhance customer satisfaction and drive more sales by automating processes that enable marketing, sales, and service professionals to spend their quality time on more meaningful tasks while the technology is helping to engage and serve buyers in a more precise manner.”
Built on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and leveraging its leading AI services, Oracle supports over 50 generative AI use cases that are embedded within Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications Suite and designed to respect customers’ enterprise data, privacy, and security. With OCI Generative AI Service, no customer data is shared with large language model (LLM) providers or seen by other customers. In addition, an individual customer is the only entity allowed to use custom models trained on its data. To further protect sensitive information, role-based security is embedded directly into Oracle Fusion Applications workflows that only recommends content that end users are entitled to view.
The new AI capabilities in Oracle Cloud CX further expand the AI capabilities within Oracle Fusion Applications, which helps organizations be more competitive, boost productivity, and reduce the cost of doing business. New AI capabilities in Oracle Cloud CX include:
- Gen AI Assisted Answer Generation: Helps service agents reduce their workloads by automatically crafting contextually aware responses to customer questions. This new generative AI capability in Oracle Service will improve customer response times and free up service agents to focus on more complex scenarios by leveraging Oracle Digital Assistant to manage and answer customer inquiries.
- Assisted Scheduling for Field Service: Helps field service technicians optimize their schedules by automatically recommending relevant jobs by considering key identifiers such as availability, location, skills, billing status, and more. This new capability in Oracle Service leverages AI to improve service productivity and overall customer satisfaction by automatically recommending jobs based on the estimated job duration and travel time.
- Opportunity Identification: Helps marketers and sellers generate more B2B deals and grow account-based revenue by helping to identify the right contacts at target accounts in order to improve effective cross-sell and upsell motions. The new AI models within Oracle Unity CDP provide look-alike modeling for contacts, job title normalization, and topic interest mapping, which help predictively identify and label the right members of a buying group to drive activation and more relevant sales engagement.
- Gen AI Assisted Authoring for Marketing and Sales: Helps marketers and sellers quickly create compelling content to better engage buyers and accelerate deal cycles. The new generative AI capabilities in Oracle Marketing and Oracle Sales help increase buyer engagement by producing targeted content for marketing and sales collateral, such as recommended copy for emails and landing pages.
- Seller Engagement Recommendations: Helps sellers increase buyer engagement and accelerate purchase decisions. The new AI capabilities within Oracle Sales enable sellers to generate more deals by delivering highly targeted recommendations on specific products to offer, insights on the buyers’ role and engagement level, and additional contacts for key opportunities.
“Service resources are finite so it is critical that organizations can predict, plan, and proactively activate the parts of service that can be automated. This would also free up time to be spent on more complex and business-critical tasks that only a human can complete,” said Aly Pinder, research vice president, IDC. “The latest updates to Oracle Service are good examples of how AI and machine learning models can improve customer experiences and create the efficiencies needed for service workers to be more productive.”
