What are the prices?

The tickets were about $60. Drinks from the bar and dessert are extra. Two martinis and one dessert cost us $26. ($6 for the dessert).

How's the live music?

It is good. There is a gentleman playing his guitar and singing famous song (romantic). In my opinion, it is just perfect when you are having a dinner on boat.

Mar 2024 * Couples This was such an unexpected delight. Got a table for two by the window. Of course the scenery was beautiful but so was the food and the service. Had the shrimp and grits and she had the braised beef. The bread selection was fantastic and the chocolate cake was very hearty and the ultimate in tastiness. Would do this again on a heartbeat. Lest I forget. The She Crab soup was AMAZING!

On January 30, 2024 I booked a dinner cruise for 4 people and I had 2 other people added to this same cruise. The dinner cruise was today, February 10, 2024 on the spirit of Carolina. We are assigned the upper deck 940. The booking number is 208298034. The 6 of us was assigned a table in a corner 3 of us against the wall. If one got up to use the bathroom which was right next to us so every time somebody would use the bathroom you can see the toilet is kind of disgusting, but anyway 1 person gets up and then everybody got to get up and then we have to move the chairs for those other 2 people to move out of the way now you got the other side with the other 3 people and there up against the other 3 chairs against the other table and it's the same thing. So when our waitress came for a table to take orders for food, I very nicely said to her why do they stick customers in a corner that you can't breathe and every time you get up you gotta move chairs go to the bathroom. Also, our table at 100% view of the bathroom so every time someone came in and out you're looking at a freaking toilet!!!!! When we look around at other tables, they all had much more room to get in and out and maneuver, it it seems to us that you add a table just to make more profit and all you did was really discussed your customers!!!!!!!!!!! I waitress said, I will send the manager of the boat down to talk to you. Well, he finally shows up, then asks us what the problem is so I told him and he says I just run the boat. You'll have to talk to the main office about this. I said OK really, so I says all right I will do that and he says he'll give me the phone number to response back to this. Well, he never showed up again never got the phone number so here I am writing you!!!!!! I was very nice to the waitress and man of the ship And never made a scene!!!! 3 people of my party ordered coffee and the waitress actually said they have no cream!!!!!!!!!!!!! And you say you're the best diner Cruise in Charleston well I'll tell you what that's full of !!!!!!!!! Being in the business myself, I know, and you should know the customer comes first well you put us last, and yes, we want a Refund! Gary & Diana McNulty

On 3/15 we had reserved in advance to for a dinner cruise reservation. It was our first time in the city and we like dinner cruising the places we tour. For an upcharge we were offered a seat at the Captains Table which we agreed to. Upon boarding they sat us with a lovely couple, not the Captains Table. After an embarrassing conversation we discovered no Captains Table which didn't include communication about the up charge. The Captain had to drive the boat she said. There was no narration about where we were, or what we should be seeing. There had been conversations about going to Ft Sumpter, didn't happen. We cruised in the harbor, like in circles as if the Captain didn't want to be there, wanted this over with. People were great, food and music amazing, wait staff couldn't have been better. Had such a fun time! I surprised my boyfriend with this dinner cruise and we had a blast! Atmosphere was very laid back but also very intimate setting. Had such a great time I will be taking my daughter for her birthday. 4 course meal and it was all delicious. Great service as well!

I found out about Spiritline cruises thanks to them sponsoring a ticket for medical laboratory professionals week! I went on a boat tour with a friend back in May and still think about what an enjoyable time it was to get more insight about Charleston's history while admiring the coastline. It was windy at times so be sure to pack a windbreaker jacket and if needed, some tissue paper or something for your ears if they get sensitive to wind like mine do. Great way to spend an afternoon when the weather is behaving! Not sure how cool it would be during the winter months but summer and spring would be ideal.

My husband and I truly enjoyed our first dinner cruise that happened to also be our 22nd wedding anniversary. It was a beautiful evening. Watching the sunset while cruising the Charleston harbor was just gorgeous. The food was wonderful and great conversation with others on the cruise. The music was lively and made for a great evening. Thank you

What a fun and informative ride this was. Our guide, Denny, said he has been giving tours for 30 years and his expertise showed. I absolutely learned a lot about Charleston and it's surrounding islands both in the past, present and, believe it or not, the future. The boat was clean and their were snacks for purpose on the deck below although I didn't go downstairs. I was advised to sit on the port side of the boat (I always ask which is best) and that was a great bit of advice as most sights were on that side. The tour was an hour and a half and I was not bored at all. Enjoy

Purchased the TourPass online in advance of our trip. We selected a two day pass which included 3 premium selections and as many standard selections we could fit in.

Slick, slick, slick! The premium tours tell you how many spots are available which made it easy to know if you have time to choose or pick right away. Once selected you just go at the appointed time and tell the provider you are using tourpass. Your name is on their list! Worked flawlessly!

The Standard tours is just as simple. You go, tell them you have tourpass, you click a button, the provider gives you a code which you type in and click submitt. That's it! Enjoy!

This system works great and is a savings. Makes scheduling your vist EZPZ!

If you're on the fence, buy it!

Initially, I had some amount of distrust ordering on line. Worried that tickets would not come through, etc. Mathematically pre calculated if TourPass could offer savings compared to purchasing admission tickets individually. TourPass certainly did! To get the most out of our day, I planned an aggressive itinerary. We even brought sandwiches for lunch, so as not to waste a minute. We were able to get in 6 standard tours and one featured! Our second featured tour on Red Boat was cancelled. TourPass promptly refunded this amount on my credit card. No hassle, no worries! We did the1 day St Augustine pass. The featured Trolley Tour was outstanding, as were standard tours The Oldest Store and Jail. If I ever get to Savanah or Charleston will definitely go with TourPass. They did a great job of covering St Augustine’s highlights. Their app was user friendly and showed proximity of nearby attractions, saving steps and time. Everything was so easy. It’s not often one has such a positive experience. TourPass offers value and demonstrated integrity. You can trust them.

Our tour pass was worth the price. It's actually a money saver. We took the tour of St Augustine and got our bearings. It also helped us select the attractions. The drivers were pleasant, very helpful, and steeped in St Augustine history. Simply wonderful!

This made our Savannah trip so much easier to plan and to see all the attractions we wanted. It saved me over $100. In three days, we were able to visit all the places we wanted plus more! I would highly recommend buying this tour pass!

My husband and I went to St. Augustine for 2 days and wanted to see as much as possible. By using TourPass we were able to see the most popular attractions at a greatly reduced price. I would definitely use TourPass in other cities!

Purchasing a Tour Pass was the best decision for us! We saw many more attractions that we would have without it! So efficient too! Pay once and go, go, go! We would highly recommend it!

I purchased the Savannah tour pass for 3 days, I did not use them consecutively, as I was on town for 8 days. I chose to do the Hop on Hop off Tour on my first day to give me an overview of Savannah, I rode the trolleys for a total of two loops, guide offered a different perspective on the city. I took a walking tour, Brad was awesome, 1.5 hrs of wonderful history. I rode the Paddle boat, was a bit disappointed the wheel doesn't function. I also visited Fort Pulaski on my last day in Savannah, it was a wonderful experience. Those were the 4 featured options I used. I also used multiple options from the normal options, my 2 favorites were the Square Pops and the Jepsen Art Center. I cannot express how awesome it was to be able to enter a venue, have it paid for, and just enjoy. I will purchase the Savannah Pass when I return next year, it was well worth it's value. Now I am hopeful the Charleston, SC Pass, that it is just as terrific, as I am visiting in the Fall.

This was awesome value for the money, we were in both places the first week in March with another couple and it made planning things to do much easier and the value was outstanding. We figure we saved about $100 per couple.

We purchased the two day St. Augustine TourPass and found the pass well worth the money, providing us with access to museums and tours we might have passed on had we had to pay full price to see without the pass. Highly recommend purchasing, especially if in the area for several days.

So easy! Tour passed saved us over $200 dollars. Just scan your phone and enjoy. Great way to visit St. Augustine.

Tour Pass made our trip so easy to navigate. Easy check in at all our locations! Saved us a lot of time.

My contact at Tour Pass for both Savannah and Charleston was a gentleman named Keith. He went above and beyond to help me in setting up the events/days and was extremely patient with a non-technologically adept mature individual like me. He helped every time I called and was always charming while doing so which reduced my stress level. He also assisted when a day change was needed and on a refund for an event. It felt like my sister and I had a friend in the area!

The events were good selections and the information provided for each was appreciated. What would have added to the info for tourists would have been info about parking availability.

Loved it and saved money. St Augustine is such a fun city. Makes planning and visiting soooo much easier. I’ve purchased Tour Pass in all of their cities now (Charleston, Savannah and now St Augustine).

5 stars all the way! So many worthwhile attractions to choose from. Don’t even need to think twice or research more. Worth all the money for however many days of your visit. Plus so easy to use. Enough said! We will definitely be back and buy the Tour Pass all over again.

I got the tour pass for my family when we visited Charleston, SC in December. It was perfect since we weren't familiar with the city and this gave us ideas and suggestions of verified and validated things to do without having to do the research myself. We will definitely get the pass again.

Hospitality is our Family Business!

Two generations of the Campsen family have owned and operated Fort Sumter Tours, Inc. since 1961. In 1986, the business expanded to include dinner cruises, harbor tours, and charter operations. This set of boat tour offerings has grown over the years, and is currently operated by SpiritLine Cruises, LLC. However, the Campsen family’s Charleston roots and seafaring traditions go back much further than their 50+ years of tour company history.

Experience Fort Sumter

Historic Family Traditions

John Campsen, the great-great grandfather of our company’s founder, George E. Campsen, Jr., immigrated to Charleston from Hanover, Germany, during the mid-1880s. He was captain of a German merchant ship engaged in trade between Europe and the United States. These trade routes brought him to Charleston, one of the most prosperous cities in North America at the time. Seeking opportunities in the vibrant Charleston seaport, John Campsen emigrated to the area. He went on to found the Campsen-Claussen Bakery, eventually selling his share of the business to his partner.

John Campsen’s son, George John Campsen, was born in Charleston on July 28, 1861. He was the grandfather of company founder George E. Campsen, Jr. and commanded the life-saving station on Morris Island throughout the early 1890s. Captain George John Campsen was in command of Morris Island itself, and responsible for the operation of the lighthouse there. He passed away in 1894, lost in a storm at sea.

George’s grandson would carry on his seafaring tradition and pass it along to his own sons, George E. “Chip” Campsen and Richard Campsen, two current management team members. Joining them in the family business are his two sons-in-law, Rick Mosteller and Stan Seckinger. These gentlemen bring with them extensive experience in the areas of food and beverage service, hotel development and operations, and finance. They work together at the helm of both our businesses, creating an exceptional experience for our guests.

Charleston’s historic Harbor front remains the lifeblood of the Holy City, and SpiritLine Cruises provides your access. From the water’s edge, you’ll enjoy some of the very best views of the area’s historic architecture, the famous forts Moultrie and Sumter and the gorgeous Charleston skyline with ancient church steeples and bell towers. Many of Charleston’s modern marvels are also best viewed from the water, including the Ravenel Bridge, the waterfront restaurants, sleek yachts, graceful water fowl and playful dolphins frolicking in the harbor.

With this in mind, in 1961 the Campsen family of Charleston founded Fort Sumter Tours to provide daily excursions to the Fort Sumter National Monument. Today, Fort Sumter Tours and partner SpiritLine Cruises provide daily access to this living monument, along with other memorable experiences for residents and guests of Charleston.

SpiritLine continues to expand its fleet and offering of daily harbor tours, evening dinner cruises and private charters. In addition to the tours to Fort Sumter, SpiritLine conducts daytime tours of Charleston Harbor with refreshments and narration of Charleston’s rich history. SpiritLine dinner cruises provide one of the most enchanting dining and entertainment experiences in all of Charleston. SpiritLine also offers private charters and tours for corporate outings and special events.

Moscow City is a multifunctional complex in the west of Moscow, which has come to represent the booming business of Russia’s capital. Its skyscrapers enrich Moscow’s skyline, contrasting the medieval cupolas and Stalinist high-rises. Visitors to Moscow City can enjoy entertainment high in the sky, as the complex is home not just to offices, but to restaurants, cinemas, viewing platforms, and museums.

Moscow International Business Center (Moscow City)

History of Moscow City

Moscow City was first conceived in 1991 by honoured Soviet architect Boris Tkhor, who proposed to construct a business center in Moscow. It would be complete with gleaming skyscrapers rivalling those of New York and London, to reflect the new life and growing ambitions of post-Soviet Russia.

The chosen site was a stone quarry and disused industrial zone in western Moscow, in between the Third Ring Road and Moskva River. Initially, the territory was divided into 20 sections arranged in a horseshoe shape around a central zone. The skyscrapers would increase in height as they spiralled around the central section, with shorter structures built on the waterfront to give the taller buildings behind a view of the river.

Architect Gennady Sirota, who contributed to iconic projects such as the Olympic Sports Complex on Prospekt Mira, was selected as the chief architect, and many other world-famous architects were attracted to Moscow to realise their visions in Moscow City.

What can you see and do at Moscow City?

Where Moscow’s cityscape was once dominated by Stalin’s Seven Sisters skyscrapers , this is no more. Moscow City is home to eight of Russia’s ten tallest buildings, six of which exceed 300 metres in height. More buildings are still under construction there today, including the One Tower (which will be Europe’s second-tallest building). Once completed, Moscow City will comprise more than 20 innovative structures.

Each of Moscow City’s skyscrapers was designed by its own architect, lending the cluster of skyscrapers a unique appearance. Aside from being a site of architectural wonder, Moscow City is a place for leisure and entertainment with over 100 cafes and restaurants, exhibition spaces, cinemas, viewing platforms, and more.

Federation Tower

  • East Tower: 374m, 97 floors; West Tower: 243m, 63 floors
  • Completed in 2017
  • Architects: Sergey Tchoban and Peter Schweger

The East Federation Tower is the tallest building in Moscow, and the second-tallest building in Europe after the Lakhta Centre in St Petersburg. Visitors can enjoy a luxurious meal of seafood, truffles or steak at restaurant ‘Sixty’ on the 62nd floor of the West Tower, or visit Europe’s highest observation deck, ‘Panorama 360’, on the 89th floor of the East Tower.

Did you know? The ice cream and chocolate shop on the 360 observation deck are the highest in the world!

  • South Tower: 354m, 85 floors; North Tower: 254m, 49 floors
  • Completed in 2015
  • Architect: Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP

The South OKO Tower is the third-tallest building in Russia and Europe. Here, you can visit ‘Ruski’ to dine on hearty Russian cuisine cooked on a real Russian stove, and have a drink in the ice bar. Alternatively, visit restaurant, nightclub and performance space ‘Birds’; the restaurant is the highest in Europe, situated on the 86th floor roof terrace alongside an observation deck. The OKO Towers are also home to karaoke club ‘City Voice’.

Did you know? Underneath OKO Towers is the largest underground parking in Europe, with 16 levels and 3,400 parking spaces.

Mercury Tower

  • 339m tall, 75 floors
  • Architects : Mikhail Posokhin, Frank Williams, Gennady Sirota

Another multifunctional skyscraper, which was designed as the first truly ‘green’ building in Moscow. The Mercury Tower has a distinct geometric shape and copper-coloured glazing, and was the tallest building in Europe upon completion. Visit ‘More i myaso’ (Sea and meat) on the first floor of the tower to enjoy European and Mediterranean cuisine whilst surrounded by greenery. On the 2nd and 40th floors a modern art gallery, the ‘ILONA-K artspace’, has just opened.

City of Capitals

  • Moscow Tower: 302m, 76 floors; St Petersburg Tower: 257m, 65 floors
  • Completed in 2009
  • Architect: Bureau NBBJ

The unique geometric design of the City of Capitals towers resembles stacks of rotating blocks, and is rooted in Constructivism of the early Soviet period (many Soviet Constructivist buildings can be found in Moscow). Visitors to the Moscow Tower can enjoy a range of cuisines – traditional Italian dishes on the summer terrace of ‘Tutto Bene’, Panasian cuisine in the tropical luxury of the ‘Bamboo Bar’ on the 1st floor’, and poke or smoothie bowls at ‘Soul in the Bowl’ cafe on the 80th floor.

Tower on the Embankment

  • Tower A: 84m; Tower B:127m; Tower C: 268m, 61 floors
  • Completed in 2007
  • Architects: Vehbi Inan and Olcay Erturk

After completion, the Tower on the Embankment was the tallest building in Europe, and is now the 13th tallest. It houses the headquarters of several large Russian and international  companies, including IBM and KPMG. There are two cafes located on the 1st floor of Tower C – self-service café ‘Obed Bufet’ (Lunch Buffet) and Bakery Chain ‘Khleb Nasushchny’ (Daily Bread).

Evolution Tower

  • 255m tall, 54 floors
  • Architects: Philip Nikandrov and RMJM Scotland Ltd

Evolution is Moscow City’s most recognisable tower, and the 11th tallest building in Russia. Its façade is a true architectural marvel, comprising continuous strips of curved glazing spiralling high into  the sky. According to the architect, Philip Nikandrov, the spiral shape of the tower honours centuries of architectural design in Russia, from the onion domes of St Basil's Cathedral to Vladimir Shukhov’s Tatlin Tower, a masterpiece of Constructivist design. Outside the Evolution tower is a landscaped terrace and pedestrian zone descending to the Presnenskaya Embankment, which was also designed by Nikandrov.

Did you know? Moscow’s largest wedding palace was supposed to be built on the site of the Evolution tower, though the project was abandoned.

  • 239m tall, 60 floors
  • Completed in 2011

Imperia’s interesting design has a curved roof and an arched glass façade. Inside the tower are various cafes including ‘City Friends’ for all-day breakfasts and light lunches, ‘Mama in the City’ for simple meals of Russian cuisine, and ‘abc kitchen’ for European and Indian-inspired dishes. Alternatively, visit ‘High Bar’ on the 56th floor for cocktails with a view. In Imperia you’ll also find the Museum of High-Rise Construction in Moscow (suitably located on the 56th floor), and the Camera Immersive Theatre.

Did you know? Inside Vystavochnaya metro station is the Metro Museum , dedicated to the history of the beautiful Moscow Metro!

  • 130m tall, 26 floors
  • Completed in 2001
  • Architect: Boris Tkhor

Tower 2000 was Moscow City’s first tower. It stands on the opposite bank of the Moskva River, and houses a viewing platform from which visitors can admire an unparalleled panorama of Moscow City. The Bagration Bridge reaches across the river from the tower to Moscow City, and underneath are piers from where you can take boat trips.

Afimall is Moscow’s largest entertainment and shopping complex, home to 450 shops, cafes and restaurants, a cinema, and a virtual-reality game park. The shopping centre is located in the central section of Moscow City, and a cinema and concert hall are currently under construction there.

What’s nearby?

Sechenov Botanical Gardens: The botanical gardens of the First Moscow State Medical University was created for students’ training and research in 1946. Today it is open for free visits, and is home to a large arboretum.

Park Krasnaya Presnya: This park belonged to the Studenets estate of the Gagarin princes. It is a monument of 18th and 19th century landscaping, with Dutch ponds, ornate bridges, and tree-lined alleys. There are also sports facilities, sports equipment rental, and cafes.

This is not the first time I have stayed with you. Everything is always at the highest level.

High quality service: there are two bottles of water, kettle, shiny white slippers, personal toothbrash, a lot of towels, the staff is very polite, I overslept checkout and they didn't charge me. 27-th floor was very calm and allowed to enjoy a great view of the city.

Location (close to tube station), quiet, secure, stable Wi-Fi (but not very fast) Affordable food that you can buy online and they deliver it straight to your door

The bed) it was huge and soft. My back tells thank you. Cakes for breakfast with cream. Cream was not so tasty but it was not too sweet and it suits pastry well
