The overall best golf bag TaylorMade has to offer in 2024 is the Flextech Crossover, owing to its versatility, waterproofing, and structured top. Its hybrid design structures it like a golf cart bag, but I feel the comfortable adjustable strap and stand make it suitable for a walking golfer.

The unique feature of the Crossover is the 14-way structured top, which I am not used to on a stand bag.  Its 14-way top design helped me separate every club in my bag, and I had no issues extracting a jumbo-size putter grip.

Next, I noticed the cart strap pass-through channel, which allowed me to fit onto a golf cart and enjoy access to the back and side pockets. Speaking of pockets, the Crossover is gifted with 10 of them to offer ample storage space for everything I needed for a round.

The one caveat with the superb compartment space is the weight of the bag, which is heavier than your average stand construction. However, TaylorMade made up for the extra mass by employing an adjustable, comfortable, dual-padded strap construction for optimal carry.

Finally, besides the premium price tag, my biggest gripe is that the color combinations are less desirable than the 2022 edition. However, the gunmetal finish still works for me.

TaylorMade engineers opted for a 6-way padded top. I used the setup to separate my woods, long, mid, and short irons, wedge, and putter. I had little trouble with clubs clunking into each other and tangling, providing an overall pleasant experience.

Even after it was packed with my regulation 14 sticks, it was still light enough to carry over 18 holes without hurting my shoulders.

Speaking of shoulder support, the removable fixed strap system helped me achieve optimal fit and balance. This distributed the weight evenly for a comfortable carry, preventing the bag from toppling over and my clubs from falling out.

Next, I appreciated the effort of including 8 pockets on the bag to carry my accessories, rain gear, valuables, and refreshments. However, I feel TaylorMade could have added fewer pockets and made the existing ones deeper because some compartments were compact.

Lastly, the Flextech Lite Stand bag sports an entry-level 4-way top to separate your long, middle, and short clubs.

I may sound poetical, but I've been using this baby for quite a while and it's one of my all time favorites. My enthusiasm for the TaylorMade Tour Stand bag is not singular.

In case you were wondering what Tour players are carrying on the golf course, well, if they would walk alone that is, the answer my friends is the Tour Stand Bag, and I am not mincing words here. Why, you may ask? Well, take a look at these features: the TaylorMade Tour Stand Bag comes with a six way velour top and it has five total pockets, as it follows: a tee pocket, a ball pocket, an accessory pocket and two garment pockets. At a closer inspection, you'll discover hard shell accessory pockets for increased protection, an umbrella cord with locking toggle, a rain hood and the four point shoulder strap (anti-fatigue). What we say...

A light bag is "essential" if golfers carry theirs round the course, and it is a good idea to keep weight down even if a trolley or buggy is deployed.

It is therefore unsurprising that the TaylorMade Pure-Lite Stand Bag is widely recommended, as it is the lightest the company has ever made.

It has also been specially created to ensure the strain is taken off a golfer as they carry equipment around the course.

It has been carefully constructed from a lightweight 420 denier diamond rip stop nylon construction, and weighs only 2.2 kgs.

It has a 8.5” x 11” top and features a six-way top with new integrated handle and 3 full-length shaft dividers, for effective golf club management and organisation. The TaylorMade Pure-Lite Stand Bag features seven pockets including a velour-lined valuables pocket and insulated water bottle sleeve pocket.

Ergonomically designed shoulder straps made with EVA foam feature velour lining and a double-strap system that spreads the weight of the bag and the clubs across both shoulders, is a valuable feature.

It is FAST accessory compatible, and incorporates an integrated bottom trunk handle, a TPR comfort handle, a bungee towel cord, a rain hood and an anti-slip actuator. TaylorMade bags are used by the likes of Justin Rose and Andres Romero on the PGA Tour.

The TaylorMade FlexTech Crossover bag is superb, especially if you like to carry and use a cart without having to switch bags. It works well for both, because it’s comfy to carry and the stand system works very effectively, and it fits nicely onto a trolley. The amount, variety and placing of the pockets is great.

The FlexTech bag range features four models, with the standard FlexTech , Waterproof and Lite available alongside the Crossover. The Crossover’s USP is that it’s designed to fit snuggly onto a cart, as well giving you the option to carry.

The first thing you notice about this TaylorMade bag is that it has a 14-way club divider and lots of pockets. That many dividers in the top of the bag can split opinion, but we quite like it because it stops your shafts banging together as you walk. It also makes it very easy to quickly locate the club you want when you’ve remembered which order you put them in.

The amount and variety of storage pockets is fantastic, it definitely ranks as one of the best golf stand bags that money can buy. There’s more than enough space for everything you could possibly need, and the seam-sealed and micro-suede lined valuables pocket and drink bottle pouch are very handy additions.

It’s comfortable to carry when you have it on your bag and the self-adjusting strap does a good job of distributing the weight evenly once you have the straps at the correct length for you.

It’s not the lightest bag on the market, but it remains comfy for the full 18 holes. The stand system is also excellent and we never had any problems with the legs staying in when it was being carried and coming out easily when you want to stand it up.

If you like to carry and use a trolley, this bag has been cleverly designed for both and offers genuine versatility. It sits very nicely on a trolley, the legs stay tucked in and you don’t have to worry about it falling off. It would be great if the bag was completely waterproof, but it offers enough protection to keep everything dry in the odd shower.
