Tensions have been building in a Dublin area where two Traveller families have issued several call out videos containing insulting slurs and attacks on different members of each group.

The dangerous feud has escalated recently with footage showing a man in a yellow vest firing two hits at a man who is sitting in the driver's seat of a white car, Dublin Live reports .

The attacker is heard saying "that was you" before the driver replies "I didn't do anything to you".

It is suspected that the conversation between the pair related to comments made about the attacker's father in a previous slam video.

It's at this point when the man swings for the person in the driver's seat, connecting with him twice before he speeds away around the corner.

In further footage viewed by Dublin Live, the attacker is heard saying "I'm a man, come on, come out and fight me" while walking through an estate in the area.

He can also be seen taking his mouth shield in and out of his mouth - an indication that he had come prepared for a bare knuckle brawl.

The video then zooms onto a house where the driver has parked his car outside as the attacker continues to wait for him.

Speaking to the camera, the yellow vested striker introduces himself.

He says: "I'm here. I'm ready to fight" before shadow boxing in the middle of the quiet road and goading the driver to come out.

He continues: "I'm the real deal. Come out and fight me.

"He gave my auld fella cheek. I hit him a couple of clouts and he went running into the house.

"I'll fight for my family. But look at him, he's there in his car.

"I hit him two shots and he went into his hiding bay. I don't give a f***."

A source explained that tensions have been building in the area for weeks and fears that it may end in bloodshed.

They said: "The driver in the car was dissing the attacker's dad and uncle and this incident was in response to that.

"There have been several call-out videos back and forth between the two families containing the usual insults and backs and forths.

"The man in the yellow vest was ready for a fight but the driver decided to take the more sensible option and get away.

"There is a lot of trouble now in the area because of it and it's only a matter of time before blood is shed."

A shocking video of two Irish Travellers engaging in a 32-minute bloody bareknuckle fight surrounded by a cheering crowd has gone viral.

The men, Davie Joyce and Michael Navin, are from Traveller families who had been calling each other out via YouTube videos. They met in an abandoned parking lot in Hemel Hempstead, near Hertfordshire in England, where they were surrounded by several onlookers.

With five minutes of the start of the fight Navin’s nose was bleeding, but the pair continued to scrap on the wet concrete. At seven minutes the referees were ready to call time on the fight, but Joyce and Navin continued to grapple. At 15 minutes the referees try to force an end to the fight, but two carried on, bloodied, as the crowds appeal for them to stop.

After 32 minutes the fight was called as a draw.

The video, posted on Dec 17 on the the Facebook page "Bare Knuckle Fighting" has had over 212,000 views and more recently has gone viral, due to the shocking content of the video.

Ifran Iqbal, who filmed the fight, said: 'The fight took place at a secret location around Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire.

“The fight between Davie Joyce vs Michael Navin started at 15.22 hours to be precise. It was very cold and wet; the fight lasted for 32 minutes and was agreed a draw by both fighters.

“Both referees, known as 'fair play men,' were cousins to each fighter.

“The fight was over a long-term, unsettled argument via YouTube challenges to each other to honor their family name.”

Online reaction to the fight has been mixed with the LadBible referring to the brawl as nothing more than extreme a children’s playground fight. The Daily Mail referred to the video as “sickening.” The public reaction was also mixed, with some declaring the men savages and others commending the fighters for settling their differences “like men.”

SHOCKING footage shows feuding traveller families battering each other in an organised mass brawl.

The bareknuckle fight erupted in a basketball court in Middleton, Greater Manchester, on July 27 this year.

Manchester Crown Court heard the violence exploded after a "long-running dispute" between two families.

Two men are seen trading blows as a large group gathered to watch the fight.

Others join in the as the scrap sprawls across the court in broad daylight.

Thomas Joyce, 44, is seen in a blue tank top in three-minute video, which was uploaded to YouTube.

He is seen removing the top and punching a man at one point as others begin to fight.

Towards the end of the video, a group of men kick a man who is on the ground in a horrifying assault.

The men swarm around the victim who is hit as he lays on the floor, although Joyce wasn’t involved in this attack.

Joyce was fined £500 after pleading guilty to using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour, Manchester Evening News report s.

Prosecutor Brian Berlyne said: “It appears that it has been uploaded by various observers of a fight between two members of the external family, Joyce being one of the families.

“Police have identified two external families in a long running dispute.

“This took place on a basketball court on Langley, in Middleton.

“Thomas Joyce is identified as being one of the parties - you can see he is wearing a light blue vest and he takes it off during the fighting.

“Several people are involved in the violence, the defendant throws punches, though he did not take part in the footage of the man who was being kicked whilst he lay on the ground.”

No other men involved in the brawl have been arrested of prosecuted.

Judge Hilary Manley said of the footage: “It’s a bunch of men running around a basketball court throwing punches at each other.”

Joyce was said to have a number of previous convictions for violence, affray, public order offences and burglary.

Daniel Travers, defending, said: “It’s an unpleasant video.

"Clearly this sort of video should not take place - though they were willing parties.

'ORGANISED VIOLENCE'

“Mr Joyce played a relatively minor role and has been out of trouble for many years.

“There have been some difficulties in the travelling community. He has been making efforts to try and calm matters down."

Mr Travers said the police had approached Joyce, who "has some influence’" to help keep the communities calm.

He added that the basketball court was in a private place, owned by the travelling community, but admitted the fight wasn't "lawful or acceptable".

Sentencing, Judge Manley said: “You took part in some organised violence between two groups of people, you threw some punches.

And I hope that, you know, everybody can see how this is gonna be great for everybody involved and for Mexico in particular.”

Spirit Airlines adds two additional nonstop destinations from Kansas City Airport

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - An air carrier known for its affordability is making nonstop travel from Kansas City easier with two new nonstop destinations.

It was previously announced that Spirit would begin offering nonstop flights to Boston and Newark starting on July 10, 2024.

On Tuesday, the airline announced plans for an additional two destinations– Dallas and Detroit.

Nonstop flights to Dallas will run four times per week starting on July 10, 2024. The next day, July 11, nonstop flights to Detroit will begin three times per week. The flights to Boston and Newark are both daily.

These additions bring Spirit Airlines up to a total of eight nonstop flights from Kansas City. The airport has over 50 nonstop destinations, both international and domestic.

Four law enforcement officers killed while serving warrant in North Carolina

Four officers were fatally shot as a U.S. Marshals task force was serving a warrant at a home Monday in Charlotte, North Carolina, officials said. A suspected shooter was also dead.

A marshal and two local officers working with the fugitive task force were killed in the gunfire around 1:30 p.m. Gov. Roy Cooper  said that “two state Department of Adult Correction officers” had died.

The city's police chief announced Monday night that a Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officer who had been wounded, Joshua Eyer, had also died.

"It was just last month I was in this very room congratulating Officer Eyer for becoming officer of the month in April," Police Chief Johnny Jennings said. "And he certainly dedicated his life and gave his life to serve our citizens."

The secretary of the state Adult Corrections Department identified two of the other people killed as Sam uel Poloche and William "Alden" Elliott , both of whom had been with the department for 14 years and were on the marshals task force.

In total, eight law enforcement officers were shot.

Jennings said the fallen officers were "heroes that were just simply trying to keep our community safe."

The violence broke out as the task force was serving a warrant on a suspect in possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. The subject, who was not publicly identified, began shooting with a high-powered rifle, Jennings said. Task force members returned fire and killed the suspect in the home's front yard, he said.

A Charlotte-Mecklenburg police sergeant was on the task force but was not struck by gunfire, Jennings said. The sergeant called for backup, and that's when the four responding Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officers were shot, Jennings said.

Police were eventually able to clear the home, Jennings said. Two people inside, one of them 17 years old, were detained as persons of interest.

Officials believe two people fired at law enforcement, Jennings said.

Charlotte Mayor Vi Lyles, who spoke at Monday's news conference, said the community must honor the deputy marshals who lost their lives and the wounded officers.

"These are people that cared deeply about what they've done for our profession, and now today, we have to say to them how much we are grateful for what they have done," Lyles said.

Cooper, the governor, called the incident "tragic" and said the state is offering assistance.

He later offered his condolences to the families and co-workers in the "brutal attack."

President Joe Biden said Monday night of the slain officers: "They are heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice, rushing into harm’s way to protect us."

"We mourn for them and their loved ones. And we pray for the recoveries of the courageous officers who were wounded," the president said in a statement . He also called for more funding for law enforcement and for Congress to do more to combat gun violence.

Eyer, the CMPD officer whose death was announced Monday night, is survived by his wife and a 3-year-old son, the police chief said.

Poloche is survived by a wife and two children, and Elliot and his wife were parents to one child, state Adult Correction Secretary Todd Ishee said in a statement.

CORRECTION (April 29, 2024, 6:40 pm ET): A previous version of this article misstated the number of U.S. marshals who were killed. One marshal was fatally shot and two local officers working with the marshals task force were also killed. (A fourth officer who was initially wounded later died.)

World Champion Boxer Fights Twitter Troll Who Travelled Hundreds Of Miles

A twitter troll who wanted to fight sunny edwards learned exactly what it's like to share a ring with a boxing world champion..

World champion boxer Sunny Edwards managed to get into the ring with one of his Twitter trolls who called him out and travelled all the way up to Sheffield to fight him.

Fabrizio Tanga rode the train up to Sheffield from London and posted pictures of himself outside Edwards' gym, calling the IBF world flyweight champion out for a fight .

It's not really clear what grudge Tanga had against Edwards, but he had been on social media calling him out before making the journey up to Sheffield for the fight.

He wrote: "I promise, Sunny Edwards, I promise on my life that if you are not going to answer, Tomorrow morning I will be in front of your gym between 11 and 12.

"If you let me spend the money I use to eat and you will not there, I will walk all Sheffield screaming that you are a coward."

Edwards duly showed up to answer the challenge and taught Tanga exactly what it means to be in a boxing ring with a world champion.

All in all, Tanga lasted just two rounds against Edwards, who was shown in footage of the fight to be going very easy on his opponent to avoid doing serious damage to anything but Tanga's ego.

For much of the bout the boxer didn't even try to land a punch, instead taunting his opponent and tiring him out.

The few light punches he did throw sent his opponent staggering, demonstrating that there is a very good reason why Edwards is an undefeated world champion boxer with 18 victories under his belt.

By the end of the second round Tanga was bent double over the ropes telling people 'I need to vomit', which should be as clear a sign as any that the fight is well and truly over.

Luckily, the pair were able to part with respect as Tanga understood just how good top level boxers were, calling Edwards a 'super champion'.

Meanwhile, the world champion boxer respected that Tanga had travelled such a long way to fight him and actually followed through with his claims by stepping into the ring and giving it a go.

For anyone else thinking about calling out a professional boxer, challenging him to a fight and then actually showing up, this episode might demonstrate why that's a really bad idea.

Maybe just don't troll people on social media in the first place.
