As well as reprising his voice role as Branch in the sequel, Justin Timberlake also served as executive producer for its soundtrack, as he did on the original film's soundtrack, released in 2016. He revealed a handwritten list of the tracks on the soundtrack on his social media on February 13, also tagging the major artists featured on it. [2]

Following the plot of the film, in which the Trolls from the first film discover that Trolls around the world are divided by six different types of music (pop, funk, classical, techno, country, and rock), the soundtrack features songs in those genres. [3]

Trolls World Tour is full of catchy earworms just like its predecessor - here's a breakdown of every song on the soundtrack. The film, which is just as glittery and fun as 2016's  Trolls , takes place at some point after the events of original movie.

In Trolls World Tour , Poppy is happily ruling as queen of her tribe, with her best friend Branch at her side. Thanks to an invitation to Queen Barb's world tour, Poppy learns her tribe is just one of six Troll tribes - pop, rock, classical, funk, techno, and country. Each tribe has a string that represents their genre of music. Barb intends to steal the strings from each tribe to force all trolls to come together under her music: rock. Branch and Poppy set out to convince Barb to unite all music, instead of destroying what's different than hers.

• "One More Time" - Daft Punk:  The Pop Trolls sing this song at a party. Queen Barb's entrance interrupts the song.
• "Rock You Like a Hurricane" - Scorpions:   Barb sings this song as she drops in on the Pop Trolls' party and informs them of her plan to acquire each of the strings so she can rule over every Troll.
• "Trolls Just Want to Have Fun":   The song is an ode to "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" by Cyndi Lauper. Poppy sings it as her intro to the movie, with a little help from Branch, as he sings about his feelings for Poppy. In the film Trolls World Tour, Poppy (Anna Kendrick) and Branch (Justin Timberlake) find out that they’re part of just one tribe of many—and that a whole universe of music exists outside of theirs. When Queen Barb (Rachel Bloom) and King Thrash (Ozzy Osbourne) threaten to take over all other forms of music with rock ’n’ roll, it sends the Trolls on a thrilling adventure. The soundtrack is packed with familiar tunes: Bloom’s light-hearted takes on certified rippers such as Ozzy’s “Crazy Train”, Scorpions’ “Rock You Like a Hurricane” and Heart’s “Barracuda”, Sam Rockwell singing Patsy Cline’s “I Fall to Pieces” and Anthony Ramos doing the Auto-Tuned robot on Daft Punk’s “One More Time” are all shame-free crowdpleasers. But, not unlike Timberlake’s “CAN’T STOP THE FEELING!”, the originals here are the most rewarding. JT’s team-up with SZA, “The Other Side”, is a funky pop-R&B jam that’s part Thriller-era MJ, part “Get Lucky”. “Don’t Slack”, with Anderson .Paak, has a vintage R&B vibe with an irresistible bounce. And “Just Sing” is an uplifting ensemble tune (with plenty of the aforementioned stars, plus James Corden, Kelly Clarkson, George Clinton, Mary J. Blige, Kenan Thompson, Red Velvet and Icona Pop) to roll the end credits on every feel-good movie from here on out.

Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake return as  Trolls co-stars in the new trailer for  Trolls World Tour , released on Thursday. The film arrives in theaters April 17th, 2020.

In this  Trolls adventure, Poppy (Kendrick) and Branch (Timberlake) encounter a new threat to their tribe: Queen Barb (Rachel Bloom) and her father King Thrash (Ozzy Osbourne), leaders of the Rock Tribe who want hard-rock to reign supreme. Through this, Poppy and Branch discover that they live in but one of six musical troll tribes, each devoted to one of the six (!!!) musical genres in existence: Pop, Funk, Classical, Techno, Country and Rock. (Don’t worry, there’s hip-hop, too … performed by a glittery baby troll played by Kenan Thompson.) They set out to unite all six tribes against the rock dictatorship.

This premise begs a lot of questions, namely “What about other electronic genres besides Techno?” and “Is Disco shared equally among the six tribes?” The good news is that the movie has some choice representatives for each musical genre. In addition to the Godfather of Heavy Metal himself playing King Thrash, the land of Funk is led by Mary J. Pop sensation Justin Timberlake coming to SC for concert in June. Here's what to know.

NSYNC fans everywhere know it's gonna be May, but former lead singer Justin Timberlake will be making his South Carolina tour stop a month later.

It was announced April 22 that the pop singer would be coming to Columbia's Colonial Life Arena on Saturday, June 8, as part of his The Forget Tomorrow World Tour .

"The news follows a phenomenal response to the initial tour announcement, with multiple sell outs and incredible fan demand that garnered the addition of numerous second and third shows across the globe." said the news release.

The tour will be Timberlake's first in five years in support of his new sixth studio album, Everything I Thought It Was .

Globally, the recording artist, recording producer, songwriter and actor has sold over 54 million albums and 63 million singles throughout the length of his career, according to the news release.

The pop sensation is known for his upbeat, catchy tunes like "Cry Me A River," "Rock Your Body," "Mirrors," and "Can't Stop the Feeling!" Across the dance, pop, and R&B genres, Timberlake has won a total of 10 Grammy Awards. Tickets for the newly added Columbia show will be starting with Citi and Verizon pre-sales at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 23, through Thursday, April 25. The general on-sale begins this Friday, April 26, at 10 a.m. at justintimberlake.com . and ticketmaster.com .

Tickets are available online only on Friday, April 26, which is the first day of the general public on sale. Any remaining tickets for any event following the first day of general public ticket sales will be available for purchase online at ticketmaster.com and at the Prisma Health Box Office on the next ticket Tuesday, said the press release.

∎ Citi Presale: Citi is the official card of the "Forget Tomorrow World Tour." Citi cardmembers will have access to presale tickets for the Columbia, S.C., show beginning on Tuesday, April 23 at 10 a.m. until Thursday, April 25 at 5 p.m. through the Citi Entertainment program.
