Per prenotazioni scolastiche sull'anno 2024 , [email protected], catalogo delle proposte didattiche 2023-2024, gruppi - parco natura viva, le seguenti tariffe vengono applicate per gruppi organizzati a partire da 25 persone., prenotare conviene.

Solo per i gruppi che effettuano la prenotazione compilando e inviando il modulo di prenotazione  entro 5 giorni lavorativi dalla data della visita ottengono un prezzo riservato. Per informazioni sull'organizzazione delle visite in gruppo e per formalizzare le prenotazioni, potete contattare l'ufficio booking dal lunedì al venerdì, dalle ore 9.00 alle ore 17.00.  Qualora il gruppo raggiungesse il Parco a bordo del proprio pullman, è possibile iniziare la visita indifferentemente dalla parte Safari o Faunistico. Se invece il gruppo raggiungesse il Parco tramite autovetture, allora per poter usufruire delle tariffe comitiva è indispensabile iniziare la propria visita dalla sezione Faunistico, e fare il Safari successivamente.

The Fasano Zoosafari, biodiversity in 6 stages, including a surprise

In Europe in terms of the number of species it hosts. At 140 hectares, it is a true oasis of biodiversity and, in the spirit of modern zoos, plays an important role in protecting and safeguarding many endangered species. 

Close encounters

Immersed in nature and surrounded by a wide range of animals of all species, welcomed and cared for in complete freedom, the Zoosafari is a natural paradise where you can spend a day full of emotions and unforgettable encounters : meet the lion that yawns as soon as he wakes up, see the hippos bathing under the branches, make way for a line of busy zebras or let yourself be mimicked by a cheeky chimpanzee . Everywhere you look there is a surprise, something to explore.

The park is divided into various areas , plus the final surprise: the FasanoLandia park, dedicated to entertainment, the crowning glory of a visit to Fasano. 

First stage by car: the Safari

This is the “wildest” part, a 6-kilometre-long adrenaline-filled route that can only be completed by car, camper van or bus. A real safari among the centuries-old olive and carob trees of the Mediterranean maquis, where it is possible to observe, at close quarters, as many as 3,000 animals of 200 different species : the animals of the savannah, lions, tigers, giraffes, gazelles, elephants, zebras, bison ; roaming free and mixed with species belonging to different ecosystems: ostriches, llamas, camels and dromedaries , as well as deer and flamingos . 

Second stage on foot: the Primates' Area

After the car tour, the visit continues on foot. Completely immersed in the greenery, the pedestrian route has other thrilling surprises in store: you will enter the lively world of primates , who are often so astonishingly similar to us: from the beloved gorilla Riù, the real star of the park, to the hyperactive chimpanzees , and then the herd of very friendly lemurs, the docile alpacas , the lycaons and various large birds . 

Third stage with the Metrozoo: the Lake of Large Mammals

Once the pedestrian route is over, it's time to get back on board a new means of transport, this time the Metrozoo , a monorail with a panoramic view which, skimming over the tree tops, takes visitors into a new realm, this time an aquatic one: a small lake scattered with islets and topped by a small waterfall is home to a varied group of seals , hippos , singing gibbons and, surprisingly, brown bears and polar bears. And on the way back, there is the noisy monkey village with its very lively and busy guests.

Fourth stage: The Tropical Room, the Reptile House/Aquarium

Still within the pedestrian area, the itinerary continues indoors, in the Tropical Room , an air-conditioned tent covering about 700 square metres hosting reptiles , fish and various invertebrates . Here, visitors can get up close to all kinds of snakes , both poisonous and non-poisonous ( boas, pythons, rattlesnakes, vipers ), freshwater and land tortoises , saurians, iguanas, monitor lizards, geckos, chameleons, alligators , as well as giant spiders, scorpions and butterflies .

Where to Go on an African Safari in April

April is a good time to visit parts of South Africa and Botswana. It’s the Green season (Wet season) in Tanzania’s Northern circuit, which means a fair amount of rain, but the scenery is spectacular and you might get low-season deals. South Africa’s Cape region mostly experiences wonderful weather in April and you can easily combine a trip here with a safari in one of the reserves in the Garden Route or Kruger National Park.

Safari highlights in april.

Unpredictability is the name of the game on safari. That’s what makes it so exciting. However, some highlights are seasonal and it makes sense to plan your trip carefully to make the most of your time in Africa. If you’re wondering where to go on safari in April, read on here.

The Okavango Delta Starts Flooding in Botswana

Sometime in April, the beginning of the Dry season, the Okavango Delta starts flooding. As the waters start fanning out, a wonderful maze of lagoons, channels and floating islands emerges in the middle of the Kalahari Desert. This is a glorious time to go out in mokoro canoes as everything is green, but conditions are mostly dry. Wildlife viewing is best from July to October, which is the high season.

Victoria Falls Is in Full Flow

After the summer’s rain, Victoria Falls is in full flow. The waterfall can be viewed from Zimbabwe or Zambia, but why not visit both sides for a different perspective. Seeing the mighty Zambezi tumble down in a 1.7km-wide sheet of water is a powerful experience. Rainbows play in the drenching spray and the thunderous noise will take your breath away. Impressive as it is, you might find the views blocked by mist, so a helicopter flight is recommended to get the full picture.

Excellent time for wildlife viewing in Kgalagadi, South Africa

April is an excellent time to visit Kgalagadi, the transfrontier park shared between South Africa and Botswana. Wildlife viewing in this semi-arid region is good throughout the year, but possibly best around April, after the rains, when animals gather in the riverbeds. This shoulder month is also a good choice weather-wise. Temperatures start to drop and the heat is more tolerable than in mid-summer. Winter nights, on the other hand, are really cold.

Diving in Seychelles’ Crystal-clear Waters

April is the warmest and least windy month of the year in Seychelles, an archipelago of 115 idyllic islands in the Indian Ocean off East Africa. This is perfect weather for relaxation on the white sandy beaches. These calm conditions make April ideal for water activities too, most notably snorkeling and diving. Novità 2024: i canguri!

Canguro grigio orientale ( Macropus giganteus )

Il canguro grigio orientale ( Macropus giganteus ) è una specie di marsupiale nativa dell'Australia orientale. È uno dei più grandi marsupiali esistenti, con i maschi adulti che possono raggiungere un'altezza di circa un metro e mezzo e pesare fino a 90 chilogrammi. Le femmine sono generalmente più piccole dei maschi.

Questi canguri hanno un mantello grigio corto e folto, adattato per sopravvivere agli ambienti con climi variabili dell'Australia orientale. Le loro lunghe zampe posteriori e la lunga coda li rendono adatti al salto, consentendo loro di muoversi agilmente attraverso le pianure, le foreste e i terreni rocciosi della loro gamma di habitat.

Il canguro grigio orientale è prevalentemente erbivoro, alimentandosi di una varietà di piante, erbe e arbusti. April 25th Wine Safari

The concept of Wine Safari is unique to our area. Eight wine tasting stations were set up throughout the first floor of the new Valley Venture Mentors space at 276 Bridge St., Springfield, where guests sampled wines from different parts of the world, such as South Africa, the United States, Italy, Germany and Argentina. Each station – and each geographic region represented – featured animals from The Zoo in Forest Park that are indigenous to that particular area. Guests were able to sample wine, interact with the animals, and learn about the animals’ natural habitats. Zookeepers were on hand to provide information about the animals and lead any interaction activities.
