The 2021 Barbie Truck Tour kicks off in Santa Monica this Saturday.

The all-new Barbie truck has a '70s beach vibe redesign to celebrate the 50th anniversary and "iconic heritage of the original California girl, Malibu Barbie."

From 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Santa Monica Place, fans can expect to see new '70s-themed Malibu Barbie beach apparel and accessories, photo ops, giveaways and a popsicle stand.

The first 15 fans to purchase $250+ of  #BarbieTruckTour  merch will receive a Malibu Barbie Signature Gift Set.

The merchandise -- available to purchase by credit card -- will range from $12 to $75.

Safety measures will be in place to "create a comfortable experience for all guests," according to a news release.

Your Instagram feed may no longer be swathed in pink, but Barbie movie mania is still rolling on.

“Barbie is really misunderstood, but the movie humanized Barbie and helped her become more relatable and tapped people into their inner Barbie joy,” said Urania Chien, co-owner of the Barbie Truck, which is coming to New Jersey soon. “I’m in my 40s, and I felt too old for Barbie. But the movie showed that no one is too old for Barbie. You’re not too old for anything that brings you joy.”

The Barbie Truck will take its third tour to New Jersey when the truck stops at the Westfield Garden State Plaza in Paramus at the main entrance near Capital Grille and Pinstripes on Saturday, Sept. 30; the Menlo Park Mall in Edison by the grassy lot near Macy’s on Saturday, Oct. 7; and the Cherry Hill Mall near the food court entrance on Saturday, Oct. 14. It will then continue its pastel journey through the U.S.

The truck will be parked at each location from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. selling exclusive merchandise ranging from $12 to $75, such as lavender denim jackets, plush blankets, baseball caps, necklaces, glass mugs, coasters, thermal bottles and more. Only credit cards will be accepted. Each person who buys over $40 in merchandise will receive a free magnet.

The Dreamhouse Living Tour is in honor of the 60th anniversary of the Barbie Dreamhouse. The truck, which launched in 2019, previously was 1990s throwback-themed and Malibu Barbie-themed.

“This year, many of our Barbie Truck items are homewares or things that people can use everyday,” said Chien, who also owns the Hello Kitty truck. “It’s like having a piece of the Dreamhouse in your house.”

When the Barbie Dreamhouse debuted in 1962, women could not open their own bank accounts and only 0.1% of women were independent homeowners.

“It was so aspirational for people,” said Chien, who, as a child, remembers many parents saving up to purchase a Dreamhouse for their daughters. “Now, we want to build our own Dreamhouses. It doesn’t have to be pink, but whatever your version of the Dreamhouse is, that’s really powerful for people.”

Some of the truck’s most popular items this season, Chien said, are the plush blanket and the coasters, which fans discovered are the perfect size to be Barbie’s rug inside the Dreamhouse.

You should expect to wait one or two hours in line, Chien said. But the good news, she added, is that you'll be able to meet plenty of Barbie fans and collectors.

“The merch is cool and people love that they can take a piece of Barbie home with them,” Chien said. “But I think people come for the personal connections that they make with other people.”

ORLANDO, Fla. – It’s Barbie’s Dreamhouse Living Tour, not Ken’s Dreamhouse Living Tour.

Currently cruising across the U.S., the Barbie Truck is making a stop in Orlando this weekend as part of its continued celebration of the 60th anniversary of Barbie moving into her first Dreamhouse back in 1962.

On Saturday, the truck will be parked outside the Waterford Lakes Town Center near TJ Maxx on South Alafaya Trail.

Like last summer’s visit, which coincided with the hype of the “Barbie” movie in theaters, the truck is offering Barbie-themed apparel along with home goods and accessories inspired by a day in the life of Barbie in her Dreamhouse.

The Barbie Truck Tour from Mattel is a colorful truck that drives across the United States selling exclusive Barbie Dreamhouse Living merchandise.

The Barbie Truck Totally Throwback Tour started in Los Angeles in 2019. Since then there was the Barbie Truck Totally Throwback Malibu Tour, and the truck has been redesigned for this year. The Dreamhouse Living Tour theme coincides with the 60 th anniversary of Barbie moving into her first Dreamhouse.

Where is the Barbie Truck Tour in Arizona?

The Barbie Truck Tour will stop in three Arizona cities: Glendale, Gilbert and Tucson.

What are the Barbie Truck Tour's Arizona dates?

The Barbie truck will be in Glendale on Saturday, Aug. 26, in Gilbert on Saturday, Sept. 9, and in Tucson on Saturday, Sept. 16. Hours are 10 a.m.-7 p.m. at each stop.

Merch on the Barbie Truck Tour is separated into three categories: Dream Wear, Life on the Go and Playful Accessories.

Dream Wear clothing includes a graphic T-shirt, a two-toned hoodie and a denim jacket, all in Barbie’s signature pink, as well as a pink baseball hat with the iconic B.

Life on the Go offerings include a clear mug covered in flowers, a pink corduroy tote bag, a thermal bottle and a glass tumbler.

Playful Accessories include a Barbie-themed gold-colored necklace, keychains, patches, clear pink and green pouches, a pink and purple throw blanket and colorful coasters.

Prices range from $12 to $75, and the truck takes credit cards only.

According to a news release , if your purchase is over $40 you will get a free gift.

Mattel's "Dreamhouse Living Tour," which kicked off in July at the National Barbie Doll Collectors Convention in Florida, is coming to three Arizona cities.

The truck made a stop in Glendale on Aug. 26 and will visit Gilbert on Sept. 9. After that, it's Tucson's turn. The Barbie Truck Tour will be at La Encantada 's restaurant circle in Tucson, 2905 E. Skyline Dr. , on Saturday, Sept. 16.

The truck will be set up from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and fans can find exclusive merchandise including hats, bags, shirts, blankets, necklaces, embroidered patches, keychains, reusable water bottles and coasters.

The Barbie Truck Dreamhouse Living Tour stops at Baybrook Mall on Oct. 21 from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. and on Oct. 28 at The Woodlands Mall from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m.

Tesla Announces Cybertruck Tour In Europe

(RTTNews) - Tesla Inc. (TSLA) has announced its plans to take the Cybertruck global tour to Europe, with the electric pickup truck set to visit 24 different cities across the continent.

Tesla's European and Middle Eastern division shared a teaser video on Sunday, which revealed the Cyber Odyssey tour's itinerary, including stops in various cities in Germany, Italy, Spain, England, and more. This tour follows previous Cybertruck showcases in China, Japan, Thailand, and at the Tesla Gigafactory near Berlin, Germany.

The latest announcement from the company comes after months of speculation about Tesla's plans to bring the Cybertruck to Europe. However, the feasibility of introducing it to these markets remains uncertain due to varying regulations concerning passenger safety standards across different countries. Tesla Vice President of Vehicle Engineering Lars Moravy has raised concerns about the Cybertruck's compliance with pedestrian safety standards in several European countries, citing the protrusions of the truck's stainless steel as a potential obstacle to selling the vehicle in Europe.

Despite these concerns, Tesla has outlined a range of new features that will soon be available for the Cybertruck, including a dedicated Baja Mode, locking differentials, and a CyberTent mode. The announcement of these upcoming features was made on the official account of the all-electric pickup truck, with Tesla indicating that the features will be rolled out shortly. Tesla Cybertruck Lead Engineer Wes Morrill mentioned that the update with the new features is currently being installed on Wave 1 vehicles.

The Cyber Odyssey tour is a significant step towards expanding the Cybertruck's reach worldwide and introducing it to new markets. It will be interesting to see how the vehicle performs in Europe and whether Tesla can overcome the regulatory challenges to make it a success in the region.

Bam Margera 's clearing the air about why his UK tour got the axe -- and while some have suspected it's all about him falling off the wagon ... he's saying he's clean and sober.

Here's the deal ... Bam's been across the pond lately for a string of Q&A gigs he'd booked through a promoter -- where he was scheduled to talk to audiences ... all of which recently came to a screeching halt after the peeps he was working with announced the rest of his appearances were cancelled.

There's been a lot of accusations and drama brewing in the background this past week -- with allegations that Bam was acting erratic and rolling with a new crew of misfits.

Some online -- especially on Reddit -- have been claiming Bam's been indulging in booze and drugs again ... but he hopped online Thursday to deny all that, insisting not only is he alcohol-free ... but he had a perfectly good reason for canceling his shows in the UK.

Long story short ... Bam says he re-injured his knee, and that these shows are gonna get rebooked -- so it's no harm, no foul in his mind.

He does allude to some kind of physical confrontation between the people Bam's been staying with and the promoters ... but he says he wasn't in the mix for that -- so he doesn't think he did anything wrong. He also acknowledges he and his girlfriend have been fighting.

Last but not least ... Bam shoots down any notion he's been under the influence lately, pointing to the fact he's drinking tea in the video. Remember, this comes not too long after he got into a fistfight on the street here in L.A. ... so, thing have been a bit tumultuous.

Despite all that ... Bam is insisting everything's A-OK -- although, hard to say if folks buy it.

Here's hoping all is, in fact, well -- because there are many who are pretty worried about him.

Supreme Court will hear case claiming CBD product got trucker fired

WASHINGTON – The Supreme Court agreed Monday to hear an appeal from a CBD hemp oil maker fighting a lawsuit from a truck driver who says he got fired after using a product falsely advertised as being free from marijuana's active ingredient.

Douglas Horn says he took the product to help with chronic shoulder and back pain he had after a serious accident. The company said it contained CBD, a generally legal compound that is widely sold as a dietary supplement and included in personal-care products, but not THC, which gives marijuana its high, Horn said in court documents.

After a failed routine drug test got him fired, Horn says he confirmed with a lab that the product did have THC. He sued the Vista, California, company under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, among other claims, alleging the THC-free marketing amounted to fraud.

The law known as RICO was crafted as a tool to prosecute organized crime, but people can also file civil suits under it against alleged schemes and collect triple the damages if they win. An appeals court found Horn’s claim should be allowed to go forward.

Medical Marijuana, Inc. appealed that decision to the Supreme Court. The company disputes Horn's claims and argues that he can't sue under RICO because he's claiming a personal injury. Other appeals courts have dismissed RICO suits in similar circumstances, the company said, making this case a good one to decide on a nationwide rule.

Horn, for his part, says his firing was a business injury and he's been financially ruined.

The case will be heard in the fall.
