British metal sextet, Bury Tomorrow, has today announced a UK headline run for January 2024, ahead of this weekend’s huge London show alongside While She Sleeps at Alexandra Palace.   Speaking of the tour, the band say, “We are stoked to announce our first headline tour in the UK in support of our latest album, ‘The Seventh Sun’. We have taken our new album all over the world in 2023 and cannot wait to bring it bigger, louder and more expansive than ever in Jan/Feb 2024 as we kick off the new year.   We will be bringing Metalcore giants ‘We Came As Romans’ and groundbreaking upstarts ‘Kingdom of Giants’ to support, and we could not be more excited to bring this show to you. Playing in venues we’ve not visited in years and cities we’ve longed to get back to, you do not want to miss out. Come join us on our next chapter.

Tickets on general sale from Sept 27th at 10AM   It’s never too late to be what you might have been. Sometimes you just need a push to take the plunge. Few people would be greater advocates for this truth than Bury Tomorrow.   Faced two years ago, following a period of external and internal strife, with the very real reality that it might be time to pack up their successes and close the book on a storied career of 15 years, with their hands forced and backs to the wall Bury Tomorrow instead picked up fate’s gauntlet and set about writing the chapter they had always imagined.   The Seventh Sun stands as testament to the bonds and belief required to shape themselves a new reality, a new sound, and a new future.   Refocused yet no more restrained, The Seventh Sun’s expanded sonic palette platforms sky-high melodies, layered with textured atmosphere, cloaking an underlying savagery.   The thematic threads weaved through The Seventh Sun are met in kind by a throughline that musically stitches together each of its 12 tracks – an idea that Kristan Dawson (guitar) has sought to execute for years. “Every single song sets up the next part of the record,” he reveals. “I wanted it to feel like a one long body of work.” In doing so, the album takes on its own kind its own sonic storytelling. “I feel like I was musically at where Dan was at lyrically,” Dawson suggests.   All of this combines, as Winter-Bates asserts, to exhibit “the best version of Bury Tomorrow people will have heard.” Positivity, and possibility, now seems boundless, where not so long ago doubts persisted. “That is as much to do with Tom (Prendergast – keys/vocals) and Ed (Hartwell – guitar) joining the band as it is about the rest of us,” Dawson notes. “I think we’d convinced ourselves at times that we weren’t friends, when actually, we’re family. You can’t have this sort of life experience and not be and not be as emotionally connected to each other as we are.”   The guitarist points to the album’s numerical title. “You know, there is something in the number seven that is very representative of change.

There’s a renewal aspect to it – seven days in a week, seven hells, and so forth. And on our seventh album, that’s the case for us, too. I hope fans hear how much we appreciate the opportunity we have to make music for them.

It’s an opportunity for us to showcase our love for, put our stamp on, and represent UK metal. What a privilege that is for us, and we’re ready to prove that we’re doing everything for those right reasons.

‘Awesome, you’re all awesome’ was the phrase that Jason Cameron opened with before jumping straight into the hit song Lionheart. The melodic metalcore band jumped straight into their heavy vocal style, and shouted to us in the audience ‘if you know if, let us hear it’, so everyone was singing along to the great track. They were all about getting the audience involved in the show, and kept shouting out for everyone to move to different areas of the venue, then run back to where the started. It was a lot of fun whilst singing like crazy to the music.

Dani Wonter-Bates, the lead singer was constantly improvising and adding exciting new elements to the familiar tracks. Hearing their new album, Runes, performed live was incredible. I’ve listened to it time and time again since it’s release, yet it still seemed new to hear it performed live. Each band member performed an epic and intense instrumental solo, whilst the other band members hyped up the audience, and danced around themselves on the stage. The great thing about seeing metal bands live, especially Bury Tomorrow, is that you know you’re going to get a fantastic performance, as well as great music from talented artists, and that’s definitely what this show was all about.

Whenever I put my headphones in and have a choice of music. Bury Tomorrow is the first band on and the Last band off. I took my girlfriend with me who didn't know what to expect as she doesn't like heavier music but with a sold out London Koko and the energy from the band. She rather enjoyed the whole experience. I saw the band at download festival 2014 and the London Koko gig was better. To go from a huge stage to a smaller stage but keep that heavy sound is a feat not many bands can do. All round brilliant concert.

One of the best gigs in my life

The sound was like on record. Jason screams as God and make very good work with the crowd! And it is seen that for so many years the band have no star fever and stay very close to their fans.

Such an epic show, the guys clearly love performing and appreciate their fans. Front man Daniel Winter-Bates has a brilliant energy, the crowd was hyped and the circle pits were intense.

Best. Band. Ever.

Their energy is so awesome and they take the time to meet everyone after the show instead of selling meet&greet tickets. Such a lovely people!

THE shit. That was downright amazing. The atmosphere was super energetic and just - I can't even put this into words. Just that much: Best concert of my life so far.

Bury Tomorrow announce UK tour

BURY TOMORROW  have announced a headlining UK tour!

Set for January next year, the tour will see the British metalcore band touring across the UK in a headlining tour to support their newest album,  The Seventh Sun , which was released back in March.

Support for the tour comes from  WE CAME AS ROMANS  and  KINGDOM OF GIANTS . Tickets for the tour will be available from Wednesday, September 27th.

Speaking about the tour, the band says, “we are stoked to announce our first headline tour in the UK in support of our latest album, The Seventh Sun . We have taken our new album all over the world in 2023 and cannot wait to bring it bigger, louder and more expansive than ever in Jan/Feb 2024 as we kick off the new year.

Bury Tomorrow To Unveil Their “Biggest Production Ever” During November UK Tour

Bury Tomorrow have announced a trio of headlining shows of their native UK. The metalcore band will be rolling out their biggest stage production yet on that trek, with tickets set for a 10:00am GMT onsale this Friday, February 02nd. The planned shows include:

One of the UKs finest metal acts Bury Tomorrow may be fresh off their sold out UK tour this month but they aren’t sitting still for long as they have announced another UK headline run for November 2024 which will include some of their biggest headline shows to date.

Speaking of the tour, the band say,  “After the success of our sold out tour this January in support of our latest album ‘The Seventh Sun’, we are very excited to be able to announce three more special shows in Glasgow, Manchester and London this November. Forming in Hampshire in 2006, metalcore outfit Bury Tomorrow rapidly propelled the genre into the British mainstream. Following the release of their The Sleep Of The Innocents EP in 2007, and their Portraits debut full-length two years later, the six-piece signed to Nuclear Blast for their breakthrough album The Union Of Crows. Although not breaking into the official UK album chart, the record saw them land on the the UK rock and metal list, as well as on the stateside Heatseekers rundown, hinting at things to come.
