Capital’s Summertime Ball has just revealed its huge 2024 line-up – here’s how to get tickets

RAYE, Sabrina Carpenter, David Guetta and more will take the stage at Wembley Stadium this summer

A staple in London’s summer festival circuit, Capital’s Summertime Ball  (with Barclaycard) is back with a bang. This summer’s ball is the first with Capital’s all-new breakfast team (Jordan North, Sian Welby and Chris Stark) at the helm – and it’s apparently set to be ‘one of the best Summertime Balls ever.’

This year’s Summertime Ball line-up is looking as huge as ever (consisting of David Guetta, Becky Hill, Perrie and RAYE, to name a few), and 80,000 tickets will go on general sale this week. Don’t want to miss out on one of the summer’s biggest parties? Here’s all you need to know.

When is Capital’s Summertime Ball?

This year’s ball is taking place on Sunday June 16.

Where is the Summertime Ball?

The star-studded lineup for this year’s show will take to the stage at  Wembley Stadium .

When do tickets for Capital’s Summertime Ball go on sale?

General sale for the ball goes live tomorrow, on Wednesday May 1 at 9am on Global Player , Capital’s official app. Make sure you have downloaded the app so that you don’t miss out on tickets. You can try Ticketmaster , too.

When is the presale?

The pre-sale, open to Capital listeners logged into Global Player, went live today (April 30).

How much are tickets?

We’ll update this page when we know the specific prices for this year’s event. 

As a benchmark, tickets in 2022 ranged from £56 to £106. Keep an eye on Ticketmaster for full details.

Can I go VIP?

Capital's Summertime Ball 2024: line-up, date and how to get tickets

Every year since 2009, Capital Radio hosts the Summertime Ball at Wembley Stadium in London and the multi-act concert will be returning in 2024.

The dates and acts for this year’s concert have now been announced, with the ball usually hosting several artists in one night for short sets.

With presale open, check out all the details below – including links and the code to get early tickets.

Capital’s Summertime Ball 2024 line-up announced

One of the first acts to be announced is Raye, performing for the second year in a row. Just a few months ago Raye broke records at the Brit Awards, winning six awards for her debut album My 21st Century Blues and its track list including Escapism and Worth It.

Noughties trio The Sugababes are joining the line-up, adding a splash of nostalgia to the mix. Next up is Becky Hill, making this her second time performing as a soloist. Lil Boo Thang singer Paul Russell will be making his debut after blowing up on TikTok in 2023.

Other notable acts include summery singer Ella Henderson, Manchester rapper Aitch, American star Meghan Trainor, dance music DJ David Guetta, ex-Little Mix member Perrie, Jax Jones, new soloist (formerly The Wanted) Bradley Simpson, TikTok sensation Benson Boone, Caity Baser making her debut, six-time-baller Rudimental and It girl of the moment Sabrina Carpenter.

When is Capital’s Summertime Ball 2024?

The Summertime Ball will take place on June 16.

How to get tickets

Presale opens on Wednesday May 1. You can access it by clicking this link and you will need the code STBVIP24 to check out.

Tickets start from £81.14 and multiple sections are on sale at the time of writing after presale begins at 9.30am.

He is one of my favorite artists, and I love him as a DJ and I am so excited to be his biggest fan on earth.

David Guetta was wonderful as always but also before him the others DJs were very good too and Songkick is so good for, because they keep noticing us about it very often and we brought the tickets there and very safe and in two to three days we received our tickets. No better app out there better than Songkick so I wanna thank you so much from the bottom of my heart

It was just amazing, perfect show, with amazing lights effects and a perfect set !

The first part was really cool too.

Everything in the Halle Tony Garnier was cool, well organized and easy. No wait to enter, and no wait too to exit !

David Guetta UK tour dates announced

David Guetta has announced plans for a UK tour next month.

The French DJ and producer has lined up seven dates, wrapping up with two shows at London's Brixton Academy on May 6-7.

He will also perform in Manchester, Brimingham, Brighton and Leeds.

Tickets are on sale now.

Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour Announces Short UK Tour in 2024

P ink Floyd fans in the United Kingdom are in for a very special treat this fall! Pink Floyd’s iconic guitarist and bassist David Gilmour will kick off a short residency in London at the Royal Albert Hall this October. It will mark his first series of live performances in about eight years. The tour dates will support his upcoming album, Luck And Strange , set for release on September 6.

Fans shouldn’t expect too many Pink Floyd renditions on this tour. According to an interview with Uncut Magazine, Gilmour revealed that he is not interested in performing 1970s-era Pink Floyd material on his upcoming tour. However, fans can still expect some Pink Floyd songs as well as Gilmour’s solo tracks.

The first performance of David Gilmour’s upcoming residency will be on October 9 in London, England at the Royal Albert Hall. The short tour will end after six dates on October 15. 

Ticketmaster will be the main spot to get tickets to this short residency. The presale event will kick off on May 9 at 10:00 am local until the next day at 9:00 am local.

General on-sale will start on May 10 at 10:00 am local. If you can’t find tickets on Ticketmaster once tickets have gone to public sale, you might have some luck checking Viagogo . Viagogo is a great spot to find last-minute tickets to non-US concerts, especially for high-demand tours like this one.

Gilmour will likely announce an extension in the coming weeks, but if he doesn’t, you’ll want to secure your spot on this ultra-short tour ASAP!
