Stayed one night after late flight. Information for shuttle is confusing: phone message says Bus Stop B, it's actually Bus Stop B; phone message says runs until 11pm but last one had gone at 10:45pm (according to reception). Had to take a taxi to hotel. Friendly greeting. Room fine if a little small. Breakfast in Executive Lounge okay.

Room was clean but a bit scuffed in places. Dinner was very mediocre and expensive. Breakfast was outstanding. Free shuttle to and from the airport which runs regularly - very good. Close to the airport but wouldn't stay again. We have stayed at The Marriott before and we will go there the next time we are flying out.

Beautiful Room But A Bit Messy at Restaurant We changed flight and booked in this hotel where we dropped our car back to Hertz. The room was of good size and spotless clean. The shower was wonderful and we had no complaint about it. The things we were not happy was the restaurant. We booked a table and arrived on time, the gentleman at the reception was running around without taking a note at us apart from saying hello to us when we arrived. We stood there for 5 minutes despite there were a lot of empty tables. As a consultant I think he needs more training about prioriting his work. I have no problem seeing him chatting and laughing with customers if he had escorted us to our seats first. The breakfast is ok but the coffee was awful. The Management is not in par with rest of the world in terms of the coffee the restaurant provided. Now coffee shops are all over and we are spoilt by good coffee. I asked for a fresh brewed of coffee and the server said it had to be charged. I travelled all round the world and with many Marriotts and probably this is the only one which asked me to pay when the coffee was not good enough. I stayed in quite a number of hotels in this trip including the nearby Holiday Inn Manchester Airport, the Management should pay a learning trip there to catch up with their peers! Having said all these, I pay tribute to the shuttle bus drivers. They were cheerful, helpful, and very informative. My sincere thanks to them!

Have you ever seen the faulty towers episode "the American"? No? Well you can either watch it or visit Marriott Delta Manchester Airport. Here is a hotel that you need to eat dinner before breakfast but only on the second Tuesday and before 10pm. Or is it? Well I stayed and I don't know, but that's OK because the staff don't know either. The restaurant staff say one thing and the hotel manager says another. In fact we had a long day travelling and arrived just before 10pm on a Sunday we were told that the restaurant had just finished and we could get room service. So we went to the bar for a quick drink and we're told that for room service we needed to wait until 11pm. We just want to freshen up have a drink and get some food is that too much to ask, after all we have been on this little B road you call the M1 (faulty towers quote) so I speak to the manager, she seems to also have a total lack of understanding of the food situation. She agrees to order the room service (but no sandwiches they are only available until 6pm, this must be the only difference, after all Mr Falty welcomed serving sandwiches) so we agree on a steak and a burger, not ideal but we have been travelling for 6 hours so anything will do. Not long after the duty manager returns, sorry the kitchen is closed..... I could go on but you get the idea. Basically the restaurant staff, hotel staff, management have no idea when food can be ordered. Remember this is an airport hotel, a place where people arrive at strange and different times, a place you would expect to be able to get food 247. Forget it. Try any other hotel in Manchester Airport if you plan to eat.

Easy to find , parking space wasn't a problem, check in staff very friendly and helpful , finding your way around is fun ,the hotel is like a maze , very easy to get lost , some of the corridors look a bit tired but our room was clean , quiet big and had the usual tea and coffee . We used the lesuire centre for a swim which was nice and included in the price , we used the transfer bus which was included in the price , nice driver and went on time ,under 10min to terminal 1 , just hope its as efficient on our return

Delta is restarting daily service between Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS) and Tampa International Airport (TPA) on Oct. 26 for the winter season.  

“By seamlessly linking Amsterdam’s vibrant international hub—Delta’s most-served airport in Europe—with Tampa Bay’s renowned beaches, Delta is offering customers a gateway to explore the best of Europe and America,” said Matteo Curcio, Delta’s Senior Vice President for Europe, Middle East, Africa and India. “With our premium amenities and extensive global network, travelers will have a lot to enjoy during the winter travel season.” 

This route strengthens the airline’s Florida-Europe network, complementing existing winter seasonal service between Orlando (MCO) and Amsterdam. Delta also flies year-round to the Dutch city from Atlanta (ATL), Boston (BOS), Detroit (DTW), Minneapolis/St Paul (MSP), New York (JFK), Portland (PDX), Salt Lake City (SLC) and Seattle (SEA).  

The flight also brings travelers from Amsterdam just steps away from America's best beaches. The Tampa Bay area offers delicious cuisine, a vibrant nightlife and great experiences in the sun and by the water. 

The new service will operate on the Airbus A330-300 aircraft, featuring four product experiences: Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+ and Main Cabin. Delta One customers can stretch out in a lie-flat seat and enjoy premium amenities like plush bedding made from recycled plastic bottles, more beverage options and a seasonal chef-curated four-course meal. Customers flying in Delta Premium Select will have more space to relax and stretch out, with a wider seat, deeper recline and an adjustable footrest and leg rest.  

All customers can enjoy a wide selection of in-flight entertainment options via Delta Studio movies, TV series, music, podcasts and more – as well as onboard Wi-Fi and free mobile messaging to stay connected.  

Customers flying Delta between Tampa and Amsterdam will benefit from seamless connections to over 100 cities across Europe, Africa, the Middle East and India via KLM’s extensive hub at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. 

Delta’s joint venture partners further enhance connectivity options for travelers to and from Florida. KLM and Air France offer flights between Miami and Paris , while Virgin Atlantic flies from both Miami and Tampa to London Heathrow (LHR) and from Orlando to both Manchester and LHR.
