We offer a number of Safari truck tour time slots on a daily basis. Each truck can accommodate up to 22 people. The tour takes approximately 45 minutes. This tour is not suitable for children under 5 years old.

This tour takes us to the greenest of the emirates - Al Ain. This 'garden city' boasts a popular university, located at 120km from Dubai. Lush green farms of vegetables and date palms are abundant. Our next destination is the largest camel market in the U.A.E, where dealers come from around the Gulf to buy and sell racing animals. We then arrive at the Hili Gardens, famous for archaeological excavations from the third millennium B.0 and ancient tombs.

Proceeding towards Al Ain Museum and the palm oasis, we witness thousands of palm trees so typical of Arabia.

We proceed to Jebel Hafeet - the tallest mountain in the U.A.E. A stunning bird's-eye view from Jebel Hafeet and the hot springs at the foot of the mountain create a lasting sensory experience. We proceed for lunch and shopping at Al Ain mall before returning to Dubai.

Excellent service.

This tour was indeed the highlight of our trip to Dubai! Enjoyed every minute of it!! We were picked up by our driver Sahib who welcomes us with a smile. He is such an excellent driver cum tour guide. Very knowledgeable, he could answer all our questions about the country. He is also an excellent driver and for someone with motion sickness like myself, I was thankful to be seated in front beside him as that surely helps a lot in managing the motion sickness. He was very reassuring and ensured that we all had our safety belts on for the sand dunes bashing particularly. He constantly checks on us in the car to ensure that we are all doing alright. At the campsite, he came especially to the 4 of us who took his car to ensure that we had our dinner and even brought the drinks to us. Am very thankful to get him as our guide. Upon arrival at the campsite, we were given shawarma first to fill our hungry stomachs as they prepare the BBQ dinner. This is an excellent service as we were really hungry after all those sand bashing. We were indeed well fed as the BBQ dinner was also awesome! The other best thing is everything is already included, the food, the camel ride, the sandboarding, the falcon show. You only need to add money for the ATV if you want. I just wished that the camel ride was a little longerrr. Hehe.. Apart from that, I stronglyy recommend this tour and you shouldnt leave Dubai without it. ;)

Excellent tour, guides are knowledgeable however staying relevant is important for the guides, being over friendly doesn't help as tours might feel uneasy. Over all experience was super the company has experienced drivers and well maintained cars. We reached the camp at maghrib, one thing I missed was maghrib adhan in the desert it would have been breath taking for Muslims and experience of the glorious words for non Muslims. When we can have other announcements and loud music on public address why not adhan. Javaid was a good guide very friendly.

Very fine evening for a remarkable price

This tour has many features, with some being wonderful and others being very fine. We were picked up promptly as arranged at our hotel by Ali (our guide and driver) and he told us about some interesting features of Dubai on the way to "the desert." Once there, he raced us "over desert and dunes" in the 4x4 and it was thrilling to those whose previous experiences have been somewhat subdued. To the rest of us, it was fun and scenic. We then went to a "modern oasis" where we were able to ride quad bikes (driving them ourselves) and ride a camel. Again, for those who'd had these experiences before, this was "fun" and for the others it was "delightful."

A unique festival offers an urban escape with live music, fun-filled activities, street food delights, rides, movies, animal safari and more in the lush surroundings of Al Ain Zoo.

The DAZ Festival, the new identity of the Dar Al Zein Festival, celebrates life’s natural beauty through an adventurous set of activities catering, especially to families. Organised by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT – Abu Dhabi) in partnership with event conceptualiser and producer Brag, the 10-day festival will see a big bang ending this weekend.

What’s special about this festival?

A few steps into the DAZ Festival arena, which has a separate entrance from Al Ain Zoo, visitors are first welcomed by the pleasant sight of Arabian oryx and gazelles. Visitors of all ages can immerse themselves in the heart of Al Ain’s natural beauty as the festival transforms the wildlife park into a lively ‘Farm Meets Safari’ experience. Visitors can revel in the wonders of nature and the wild while deepening their understanding of the environment and ecosystems, all just a short 90 minutes away from the Capital. Those coming to the festival can visit the zoo through a connected pathway.

What are the major highlights?

First up is a curated farm-themed space named ‘The Barn’ with sustainability and upcycling workshops for children and the ‘DAZ Market’ with sustainable kids’ retail brands. There will also be heritage pods showcasing the vibrant Emirati culture with Safafa, Talli, Al Leekh, Al Khoos, calligraphy, and henna demonstrations. In between, visitors can also catch friendly toon characters roaming around.

A play area with the first-of-its-kind ‘Hay Maze’ in Al Ain crafted entirely from hay. There are massive inflatable bouncy Zorb balls, carnival rides, and skills games for plenty of Instagrammable moments with the family.

A must-visit place is the ‘adventure park’ with zip lines, an obstacle course, a climbing wall, and laser tag games. There is an ‘archaeology zone’ with hands-on kids workshops on geology.

There are also animal shows and safaris with unique activities like giraffe feeding, lemur walks, pony rides and zookeeper talks. One can also get personal with reptiles and shake hands with a chameleon.

Visitors can enjoy movies with family favourites, including ‘The Jungle Book’, ‘Jumanji’ and ‘Zootopia’ to match the wild theme every evening from 8pm.

There are 17 food and beverage outlets, including sustainably sourced international street food delights and homegrown concepts. There are also dance performances and, other entrainment and interactive activities. The festival is set for a big bang end with Emirati singer Mohamed Al Shehhi and Syrian star Nassif Zeytoun performing today and back-to-back shows by the Ninja Kidz today and tomorrow. Concert tickets start at Dh145.

Operating hours and tickets : The festival is open from 2 pm to 10 pm. A general admission ticket starts at Dh35, there is a DAZ Pass at Dh115, and a friends and family bundle of Dh345 offers a free ticket with 3 DAZ passes. Tickets are on sale through the DAZ Festival official ticketing partner at ticketmaster.ae.
