Chicago native and Los Angeles resident Colette has a unique career trajectory and influence as an international DJ, singer, songwriter, and landmark figure of American Dance Music. A founding member of the pioneering DJ collective, Superjane—along with DJ Heather, Lady D, and Dayhota—Colette has been an integral part of the Midwestern Underground since 1994. From her first mixtape in 1998 “Floating By” to her 2022 production commencement of her fifth studio album, she has blazed her own distinctive trail through electronic music.An alto since early adolescence, her natural gravitation towards integrating live vocals over DJ sets would become a benchmark of Colette’s pioneering music career over the next three decades. Just two years after she began promoting at Mummy Bar in Chicago, Colette clocked in her first commercial dance release with 1996’s ‘Moments of Epiphany’ EP. It would be 2000’s first official mix compilation, “In The Sun” released on Afterhours, that would broaden her visibility to even wider audiences. After being signed to Nettwerk America, the release of 2001’s “Our Day” expanded her mobility to being able to co-host the nationally syndicated radio show “Maximum Rotation.” Until 2004, Colette and her on-air partner, Kevin Dees produced the show from the iconic KIIS-FM radio station in Los Angeles.2001 saw Colette beginning a 9-Year DJ residency at Smartbar Chicago, leading up to her 2003 "Breakthrough DJ” win at the DanceStar USA Awards. A direct opportunity for a prominent feature in a global campaign, she was chosen to star in Motorola’s 2003 marketing effort alongside Felix Da Housecat and Paul Van Dyk. Consequentially, this same campaign commercial won “Best Song In A Commercial” at the following 2004 US Dancestar Awards.From 2000-04, Colette would be a featured artist on a handful of 12” singles that would see her connecting with progressively larger and more international record labels such as Classic (UK), Brique Rouge (FR), Icon Recordings (US), Moody Recordings (US), and Nordic Trax (CA) leading up to her first single, “Feelin’ Hypnotized”, from her debut artist album, 2005’s ‘Hypnotized’ for San Francisco’s OM Records.

Charting her first Billboard No. 1 with "What Will She Do for Love", the debut long-play effort from Colette became the most downloaded dance album on Apple's iTunes in June 2005, with the title track, “Feelin’ Hypnotized”, being licensed to the soundtrack of the movie, “The Devil Wears Prada”. Not her last silver screen placement, her track “I Like The Way” produced in 2004 with Kaskade, would be featured in 2008’s “Sex and the City” movie soundtrack. 2006’s "House Of OM" mix compilation with DJ Heather would kick off a multi-decade partnership and DJ pairing that still holds a remarkable relevance today. As Colette's international touring schedule widened, 2007 saw the release of her second album “Push”, with the single “If” reaching No. 5 on Billboard’s Dance Club Play chart. Launching her own imprint in 2010, Colette put together Candy Talk Records as a platform to have more creative control over her music, curation, and collaborations. Running a successful Pledge campaign to fund her third studio album, 2013’s ‘When The Music’s Loud’, featuring the single “Hotwire”, would see Billboard name it one of the top 20 Dance Music Albums of 2013, with Thump/VICE naming it “One of The 99 Greatest Dance Albums of All Time” in July of 2015. In 2016, LA Weekly named Colette one of “The 20 Best DJs in LA Right Now”, and 2017 saw the release of her fourth studio album, ‘Retrospective’, and the second on her own label. This album features a collection of remixed works spanning her entire career, featuring production from artists such as Gettoblaster, Derrick Carter, Demarkus Lewis, Local Options and Change Request. 2020 saw the return collaboration with Kaskade on their single “When I’m With You”, which has been streamed over 5 million times. 2022 sees Colette starting work on her fifth studio album, alongside launching her “Future Deep” tour with Pete Moss, playing select Second City Sessions shows with DJ Heather while performing solo shows worldwide.

The Rolling Stones are bringing their hugely successful NO FILTER tour to stadiums in 13 cities across America in 2019 with a stop in Santa Clara, CA on August 18, 2019 at Levi’s®️ Stadium.

The tour follows NO FILTER dates this past year that have taken Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood back out on the road amassing rave reviews as they played to sold out stadiums throughout the UK and Europe. 

Ticket Policy

All guests ages 2 and above must have an event ticket to enter the stadium. There is no re-entry after admittance. Guests should have their tickets ready to scan upon approaching the stadium entry gates. The ticket barcode must be visible no matter the ticket type.  Tickets will not be emailed or available to print. Your mobile ticket must be displayed on your phone to get into the event. 

Visa Box Office The Visa Box Office opens at 4:30pm and is located at the north end of the stadium inside Toyota Gate F. Walk-up tickets may also be available at the Visa Box Office.

Will Call Will call opens at 4:30pm and is located at the Visa Box Office.

Parking lots are scheduled to open at 4:30pm and all guests must be in possession of a valid event ticket, pass or credential to park in a designated parking lot. A few lots have been opened up for prepaid parking here .

Credit Card Lots Credit card lots (day of parking) will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis in all parking lots. Credit card lots for this event are Blue 1, Green 3 and Red 3. 

Accessible Parking Mobility services will be onsite at 4:30pm to provide roving carts throughout Red Lot 1 for assistance to stadium gates. 

Bicycle Parking Bicycle parking will be located at Gate A and opens at 4:30pm. All ticketed guests will be permitted the use of the San Tomas Aquino Creek trail beginning at 4:30pm. The Silicon Valley bicycle coalition will be administering this operation.

Buses/Oversized Vehicles – Tailgate Buses/oversized vehicles that wish to tailgate must park in Blue RV and contact the Visa Box Office at 408-579-4449 to purchase parking in advance.

Buses/Oversized Vehicles – Non-Tailgate Buses/oversized vehicles that do not wish to tailgate must park in the Green Bus Lot and contact the Visa Box Office at 408-579-4449 to purchase parking in advance.

Tailgating Tailgating is permitted in specified areas only. Please view the parking lot map for which parking lots allow tailgating. Non-compliance may result in ejection from the lot without compensation. Tailgating will cease after the event begins.

Levi’s® Stadium prohibits all bags, backpacks and other carriers from being brought into the stadium with the following exceptions:

• Clear Backpacks
• Clear Fanny Packs
• Clear Purses
• One gallon clear plastic zip lock type bags
• Small Clutch Bag (the size of an adult hand) (4.5” x 6.5”)
• Seat Cushion

Tailgating is defined as; the use of any item (including tables, chairs, free-standing canopies or umbrellas, awnings attached to recreational vehicles, coolers, barbecues, grills, games, generators, televisions, sound systems, food or drink, food or drink preparation or serving equipment, or other items as identified by the City Manager or designee) for the purpose of an outdoor gathering by one or more people prior to, during or after a scheduled stadium event.

• Tailgating will cease after kickoff.
• All guests must be in possession of a valid event ticket or credential.
• Amplified sound is prohibited.
• Excessive consumption of alcohol is prohibited.
• Tailgating cannot impede vehicle or foot traffic.
• Tailgating is limited to the area directly in front of or behind your vehicle only.
• Empty spaces may not be reserved or used for the purpose of tailgating.
• Tents or canopies exceeding an 8’ x 8’ footprint are not permitted.
• Appropriate receptacles must be used for the disposal of hot coals.
• All Guest Code of Conduct and parking policies are in effect.

Fans with medical bags or items they must carry with them must be inspected and have a wristband or sticker placed on it to show that it has been inspected. PLEASE ARRIVE EARLIER TO AVOID LAST MINUTE GATE PRESSURE.

The following ARE PERMITTED in the stadium during Levi’s® Stadium Events:

• Bags that comply with the Bag Policy (see Bag Policy above)
• Binoculars shorter than 6 inches (case prohibited)
• Non-professional cameras
• Diaper bags accompanying a child
• Flags smaller than 2’ x 3’ (No Poles)
• Plastic water bottles (factory sealed, no-alcohol, less than 24 ounces)
• Reusable transparent water bottles (no-alcohol, less than 24 ounces)
• Plastic water bottles (sealed) and thermoses (no alcohol)
• Seat cushions
• Strollers (contact the nearest Playmaker if in need of storing)
• Sunscreen & hand-powered misters
• Umbrellas (no obstruction of other fans view)

The following ARE PROHIBITED in the stadium:

• Aerosol cans
• Alcoholic beverages
• Bags that violate the Bag Policy (see Bag Policy above)
• Professional cameras or cameras with detachable lenses (lights, tripods, selfie-sticks and monopods are also prohibited)
• Cans, glass bottles or alcoholic beverages
• Drugs & Drug paraphernalia, marijuana & marijuana products
• Coolers (including soft-sided coolers)
• Glow sticks, light-up costumes, light-up signs, battery packs
• Intoxication or signs of impairment related to alcohol or drugs
• Irresponsible drinking or behavior
• Klaxons, bullhorns, whistles or any other noisemakers
• Laptops and Laptop Bags
• Laser pointers of any type
• Offensive clothing
• Plastic bottles larger than 24 ounces
• Projectiles (footballs, Frisbees, etc.)
• Selfie Sticks
• Signs, banners or poles
• UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles)
• Weapons of any kind (including silverware).

Anyone possessing PROHIBITED items will be asked to return them to their cars, take them to one of our Bag Check stations or dispose of them in the garbage cans provided at the gate.

Valley Transportation Authority (VTA)

VTA will offer extended services for 60 minutes post-concert to Winchester, Santa Teresa, Alum Rock and Mountain View stations.

VTA provides buses and light rail transportation in the greater San Jose area reaching Mountain View, Cupertino, and Sunnyvale. VTA buses will drop off guests in two (2) locations:

› Intersection of Tasman Drive and Great America Parkway › Intersection of Tasman Drive and Calle Del Sol

*VTA Bus Line 251 that services BART patrons to/from Levi’s Stadium will now operate out of the Warm Springs Bart Station. For more information please click here.

VTA light rail trains will drop off and pick up at the Great America Station located north of the stadium. For more information, please visit www.vta.org , or call 408-321-2300.

Caltrain will offer one extra northbound train departing approximately 75 minutes after the event, in coordination with VTA LRT connecting service.

Caltrain provides services from San Francisco to South San Jose with stops all along the peninsula. On event day, Caltrain transports passengers from all locations to connect with VTA light rail trains or buses at the Mountain View Transit Center, located at Evelyn Ave, and Castro Street. Fans heading to the game can get off at the Mountain View station and transfer to VTA light rail to Levis’® Stadium.

All accessible parking will be directed to Red Lot 1. Guests who possess a valid placard will be directed to park in Red Lot 1 and must display their placard at the entrance to be admitted.

Levi’s® Stadium takes pride in providing elite service to all guests including those requiring mobility assistance. We provide a variety of services for our guests with special needs. Included in these services are courtesy shuttle buses from several of our parking lots, golf cart shuttles in the Main Lot, and Guest Services representatives to provide wheelchair service if requested. Guests that require additional assistance are encouraged to contact our mobility assistance team at 408-579-4610 or email [email protected] .

Assisted Listening Devices will be available at all Guest Services kiosks presented by United located throughout the stadium.

Recommended exit routes to take based on your desired destination.

Exit Intel Gate A For fans riding the VTA Light Rail to Caltrain, ride-sharing or who have parked in Red Lot 1 should exit via Intel Gate A.

Exit Dignity Health Gate C For fans parked in Blue Lot 1 or heading to the Charter Bus Parking lot, we recommend exiting via Dignity Health Gate C.

Exit Toyota Gate F For fans riding VTA Buses, taxi or rideshare or who have parked in Yellow Lots 2, 3 should exit via Toyota Gate F.

Drop-off/Pick-up Area for Rideshare

The rideshare drop-off for this event will be at Green 1 West. The pick-up zone at Levi’s® Stadium is in Red Lot 7.  Follow staff & signage for additional direction.

DJ Porter Robinson coming to Nashville as Music City sees EDM uptick

DJ, record producer and singer-songwriter Porter Robinson will be bringing a night of EDM to Nashville on his upcoming tour. He will be performing at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium on Sept. 10.

Robinson's "SMILE! World Tour" brings him to Music City in support of his upcoming album "SMILE! :D," which will release on July 26.

The DJ is known for songs "Everything Goes On," "Shelter" and "Goodbye To A World." On April 23, he dropped a new single from the album "Knock Yourself Out XD."

Robinson's tour will see him make his way through North America, Australia, Asia, Europe and South America.

Robinson comes as Nashville sees EDM uptick

Robinson's Nashville performance comes as EDM is shining bright in Music City.

At the end of March, athlete Shaquille O'Neal, also known as DJ Diesel , took the stage at the Skydeck on Broadway.

O'Neal's EDM alter ego brought a night of thumping EDM music to Broadway with a packed crowd and a set that featured pulsating trap music, modern electric dance music favorites and dubstep.

Nashville also recently saw the opening of one of its first EDM dance clubs, the Night We Met .

The club, located in the Gulch, opened to the public on March 28 . Night We Met is looking to grow the EDM scene in Nashville—a city known for country and rock music, not its club scene, like New York or Los Angeles.

The new venue will host DJs from all over the world with global platforms.

DJ Scdden Death and Marshmello performed during a surprise pop-up show on Friday afternoon on the roof of Deep Ellum’s Rodeo Dallas. The last-minute surprise show was to celebrate the last leg of the pair’s Mellodeath tour. Their Dallas performance was Friday night at The Factory in Deep Ellum.

Kia confirms EV9 GT is launching in January with enormous power

After Kia’s first three-row electric SUV is already seeing strong demand, the EV9 is set to gain a high-performance GT version. Kia confirmed the EV9 GT will launch in January with “enormous power” and other upgrades.

Kia EV9 set for the GT treatment

Kia launched its flagship EV9 in Korea last June. In less than a month, Kia sold over 1,334 EV9 models and another 1,251 in July.

After announcing US prices start at $54,900, Kia called the EV9 a “wake-up call” to the industry. In the first three months of 2024, Kia has sold over 4,000 EV9s in the US.

Kia has been teasing a high-performance GT trim since its debut, but CEO Ho-Sung Song confirmed it will launch in January during its CEO Investor Day presentation.

The EV9 GT will build on Kia’s first high-performance electric vehicle, the EV6 GT. Kia unveiled the EV6 GT in 2022, its most powerful vehicle so far.

With 576 hp, the EV6 GT can hit 0 to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds. To prove it, Kia put it up against a Ferrari Roma and Lamborghini Huracan EVO, and it beat both off the line.

Powered by a 77.4 kWh battery and a dual motor powertrain, the EV6 GT generates 576 hp and 546 lb-ft of torque. Starting at $61,600, the EV6 is cheaper and quicker than most sports cars.

Song confirmed the EV9 GT will launch in January, promising “enormous power” with a 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) time in 4 seconds.

An AWD, high-output dual-motor system will offer quicker acceleration. It will also include a reinforced suspension and electronic braking for better stability at high speeds.

Next-gen affordable Kia EVs

Kia also confirmed it will focus on affordable electric cars, aiming to become an EV leader by the end of the decade.

Song confirmed Kia will launch six new mass EV models in major markets. Kia revealed the new models, including the EV2, EV3, EV4, and EV5, during its first annual EV Day in October.

The EV5 already launched in China , starting at around $20,000 (149,800 yuan). It will cost around $46,000 (70,000 AUD) in Australia.

Kia will launch the EV3 by the end of this year. The EV3 features the best of the EV9, including design and tech, in a smaller and more affordable package.

Like Kia’s EV9, the EV3 includes Kia’s new design theme, including a sleek new “Tiger Face” grille. We’ve seen several prototypes out testing as it nears its official debut. The EV3 is expected to start at around $30,000.

I'm all for speed and power. But I honestly don't see the point in the EV9, or other larger 3 row SUVs. Just so the soccer bags and groceries can slam the back of the car harder? For this class, range and maybe towing range would be what would convince me to upgrade. I'll save the 0-60 times for sports cars/sports sedans.

The EV3 will be followed by the EV4, expected to launch next year. Kia’s EV4 is the brand’s take on an entry-level electric sedan.

Kia will introduce two specific EVs in emerging markets, including the Carens EV. By 2026, Kia aims to sell 587,000 mass-market EVs or 66% of its total sales.

Kia also revealed it will be strengthening its hybrid lineup as it works to introduce new EV models into key markets.

Song said although EV demand is lower than expected in the short term, long-term forecasts remain unchanged. By 2030, Kia aims to sell 1.6 million EVs. Kia’s CEO also revealed it will cancel two large-size EVs as it focuses on smaller, more affordable models.
