‘Impractical Jokers’ going on nationwide ‘DRIVE Tour’: What you need to know about tickets, dates and more

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Q, Murr and Sal are hittin’ the road.

For the first time in three years, Staten Island’s own “Impractical Jokers” are going on tour. Brian “Q” Quinn, James “Murr” Murray and Sal Vulcano have announced the “DRIVE DRIVE DRIVE DRIVE DRIVE Tour,” set to launch in February with stops in 16 cities across the U.S. and Canada.

Pre-sale tickets to the Outback Presents- and Live Nation-produced tour are available starting Wednesday, Oct. 19. Tickets for all shows will go on sale Friday, Oct. 21, at 10 a.m. local and can be found via impracticaljokerslive.com .

The tour comes off the heels of the successful return of the truTV prank show and its new celebrity format following the departure of longtime “Joker” Joe Gatto .

The tour, which will feature never-before-seen videos and storytelling stand-up, will kick off in Pittsburgh on Feb. 2. While they won’t be playing a hometown show — at least, not right now — those in the NYC area can still catch the boys in Newark at the Prudential Center on March 10.

In addition, fans across the country will have an opportunity to meet the “Jokers” and introduce them on stage through a contest run by local radio stations in each city.

“Impractical Jokers” is truTV’s longest-running and top-rated original comedy. The Advance/SILive.com sat down with Murr earlier this year to talk about the success the pranksters have had. Murr also name-dropped his dream “Impractical Jokers” guest , and his dreams about buying some legendary Staten Island relics .

“The Impractical Jokers” just celebrated ten years on the air this past June.

Prior to that, “Joker” troupe member Sal quipped “I hadn’t done anything for more than just a few months” when the trio appeared on “Late Night With Seth Meyers.”

Now, to keep the momentum going, Sal “Sal” Vulcano, Brian “Q” Quinn and James “Murr” Murray are hitting the road for 35 huge shows on their “Drive Drive Drive Drive Tour” where the fellas will bring their outrageous never-before-seen videos and storytelling stand-up to the stage.

Will they be coming to a city near you?

Well, if you’re in New York or New Jersey, the answer is a resounding yes.

Staten Island’s native sons will drop into Camden, NJ’s Freedom Mortgage Pavilion on Feb. 3, Waterloo, NY’s The Vine at Del Lago Resort and Casino on Feb. 18 (they’ll play two shows in Waterloo that day — at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. ), Newark, NJ’s Prudential Center on March 10 and Elmont, NY’s UBS Arena on March 12.

And unlike the Jokers, we’re not pranking you when we tell you that tickets to see the three live are fairly inexpensive .

In fact, we found some seats going for as low as $28 before fees on Vivid Seats at the time of publication.

Not a bad price to catch the guys that brought the world the infamous, unhinged White Castle video that you have to see to believe.

Impractical Jokers 2023 tour schedule

Sal, Murr and Q will turn the engine on their “Drive Drive Drive Drive Tour” at Reading’s Santander Performing Arts Center on Jan. 28 with two shows at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.

From there, the fellas will bring their unique brand of fun to huge cities like Boston on Feb. 4 ( 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. shows), Washington, D.C. on Feb. 19, Seattle on April 7, Denver on May 6 and Detroit on June 4.

On July 29, the “Drive Drive Drive Drive Tour” will sputter to a stop at St. Louis’ Stifel Theatre .

How to watch “Impractical Jokers” on TV

Starting Feb. 9, “Impractical Jokers” returns to TV for the show’s tenth season.

All episodes will be simulcast on TruTV and TBS.

Just a few of the guest stars lined up this season include Post Malone, John Mayer, Bret Michaels, Paul Rudd, Kesha and Anthony Davis according to Vital Thrills .

What happened to Joe of “The Impractical Jokers?”

As you may have noticed, there are only three members of the “Impractical Jokers” these days.

That’s because founding “Joker” Joe Gatto left the group in early 2022 for “personal reasons” following his divorce from wife of eight years, Bessy Gatto.

“Bessy and I have decided to amicably part ways, so now I need to focus on being the best father and co-parent to our two incredible kids,” he said in a statement.

Shortly after the two separated, they were seen at an Imagine Dragons concert with their children.

Q, Murr and Sal, creators and stars of truTV's hit show Impractical Jokers, announced a brand-new live comedy tour, The DRIVE DRIVE DRIVE DRIVE DRIVE Tour. Launching in early 2023 and produced by Outback Presents and Live Nation, the much anticipated tour includes a UBS Arena at Belmont Park date on March 12, 2023. Off the heels of the successful season 9 return of Impractical Jokers and its new celebrity format, Q, Murr and Sal are excited to be back on tour for the first time in three years, bringing new jokes and videos to fans across the nation.

Pre-sale tickets will be available this Wednesday, October 19 using code IJDRIVE, and tickets for all shows will go on sale on Friday, October 21 at 10am local and can be found at HERE .

The trio behind TruTV’s “The Impractical Jokers” are heading out on nationwide comedy.

“The DRIVE DRIVE DRIVE DRIVE DRIVE Tour” will begin on Jan. 28 in Reading, Pennsylvania and conclude on July 29 in St. Louis, Missouri .

While the comedians are on tour, they will be making stops in Camden, New Jersey on Feb. 3 and Newark, New Jersey on March 10 .

Standing at Concerts

Standing and Dancing at Concerts: DPAC is proud to welcome all types of concerts to our stage. Sometimes during the course of a concert performance, audience members will show their enthusiasm by standing and dancing, especially when encouraged by the performers to do so. Unless directed by the show, we do not ever enforce a must sit policy at concerts. For most concerts, this would not be acceptable to the performers on stage who often love it when the crowd is moved enough by the performance to stand. This is especially true for rock shows and for seats closest to the stage.

Please know that DPAC does not have a “no standing” policy and in most situations will allow guests to stand even if they block the view of the stage for other guests. If your view is ever blocked by a standing or dancing guest, please contact an usher and we’ll attempt to find alternative seating.

For many concert, comedy, and special events at DPAC, we offer added views of the stage with two big screens (size: 16’ x 9’) hung to the sides of the stage or above the stage. These big screens can add to the visual experience of our concert, comedy, and special events and give guests seated farther from the stage what we like to call “a tenth row view”. Approval to use these screens always rests with the visiting show and about half of all concert and comedy events do use these screens.

The hidden camera comedy show “Impractical Jokers” is on tour summer 2024.

The show, which features Salvatore “Sal” Vulcano, James “Murr” Murray and Brian “Q” Quinn, will make stops in Mobile and Atlanta.

The show began on TruTV and initially included Vulcano, Murray, Quinn ad Joe Gatto. Joe left the show midway through season 9. For season 10, the show will air on TBS.

The “Drive Drive Drive Drive Tour” will make stops in Mobile June 23 and Atlanta June 22.

How to find tickets

The Impractical Jokers cast will perform two shows at Mobile’s Saenger Theatre, one at 4 and one at 7 p.m. Find tickets at StubHub , Vivid Seats , Ticketmaster and SeatGeek .

Who’s ready for the return of  Impractical Jokers ? We sure are! The season 10 premiere is set for tonight, Feb. 9, 2023, on truTV and we can’t wait. What about you?

The hidden camera reality series shows us lifelong friends Brian “Q” Quinn, Sal Vulcano, James “Murr” Murray, and Joe Gatto who just love to have a good time together and get into hilarious shenanigans. They all are comedians after all!

Now going into its tenth season , the comedy has been on the air for a long time. Because of that, you may be wondering how old the jokesters are. We’ve got the answer for you below!

Impractical Jokers cast ages

All four of the professional pranksters are improvisational comedians, meaning they can spontaneously act and react to each other other or a situation that isn’t planned. The four friends have been mates since their days at Monsignor Farrell High School in Staten Island, New York. That means they’re all the same age! We’ve got their birthdays for you below:

• Brian was born March 14, 1976, which means he is 46 years old.
• Sal’s birthday is Nov. 6, 1976, making him 46 years old.
• James celebrates his birth every year on May 1, 1976, putting him at 46 years old.
• Joe turned 46 last year on June 5. He was born in 1976 as well.

Gatto has of course been a part of Impractical Jokers since the start. However season 9 was his last with the group. In December 2021, the comedian shared he’d be stepping away from the comedic group and the show to focus on his personal life and family. Gatto has two kids. So unfortunately, don’t expect to see this joker in season 10 tonight.

How Old Are the Men From 'Impractical Jokers'? Here's a Breakdown

Impractical Jokers , which premiered all the way back in 2011, is a hilarious show about four lifelong friends daring each other to do embarrassing and absurd tasks, usually without getting caught. Since the show has continually grown more successful each year, the franchise has expanded in a major way.

In 2020, Impractical Jokers: The Movie was released in theaters.

All members of Impractical Jokers were born in the same year, which makes sense when you learn that they met in high school and became buddies while they were students at Monsignor Farrell in Staten Island.

From there, they knew their shared sense of humor would take them far. They decided to form a sketch comedy and live improv troupe called The Tenderloins. Season 10 of their show will be a little different, though, since Joe Gatto will no longer be part of the cast. Here’s how old everyone from the show is.

Joe Gatto is 46 years old

Joe was born on June 5, 1976, making 46 years old at this time. According to his Instagram bio , he lives to make people laugh. He's a famous comedian, so his bio makes sense.

To the dismay of fans, Joe shared a statement in December 2021 explaining that he would no longer be taking part in the show "due to some personal issues in [his] life." At the same time, he shared that he and his wife, Bessy, had decided to split, meaning that he would need to take more time to focus on parenting.

Brian Quinn is 46 years old

Brian Quinn is another member of the Impractical Jokers group. Along with being a comedian, he’s also known as an actor and producer. Brian has over 1.6 million followers on Instagram keeping up with him and the content he likes to post. Generally, he loves social outings with his co-stars, beer, and wild animals.

James Murray is 46 years old

Aside from being one of the hilarious members of the group, James Murray is the author of a kids' book, and he’s super proud of it. In fact, he promotes the children’s book he wrote titled Alien Summer Number 1 in his Instagram bio .

Sal Vulcano is 45 years old

The youngest member of Impractical Jokers is Sal Vulcano at 45 years old. The rest of his co-stars have already celebrated birthdays in 2022, but Sal's birthday doesn’t come around until November 6. Being part of Impractical Jokers isn’t the only thing keeping Sal busy on a daily basis — he also has two podcasts to manage.

Not even sure why this is even on tv, bullies destroy kids art work. funny, you guys rock, this is incredibly great prank show, it has made me happy and laugh even in the sadest of times... great stress buster must watch, funniest show ever.
