The managing directors of Nature Responsible Safari Uganda are Isolde Nowak and Jones Tugume.

Isolde studied Computer Sciences, is a passionate nature photographer and traveler.

Jones studied Tourism Business, is a ranger educated in Birding, Wildlife and Gorillas. 

He worked for 13 years in the Gorilla Program in Bwindi and Mgahinga NPs, Uganda.

They met in 2018 during Isoldes first Gorilla Tracking, stayed in contact and started developing photographic group trips through Uganda and finally decided to start their own travel company Nature Responsible Safari Uganda as a sister company of Nature Responsible Safari Tanzania.

A Film Team from German TV got to know them and found their story as interesting, that they made a TV documentation about their life and the company.

Though the film is in German Language the pictures are self explaining and it shows as well  Uganda as a travel destination and insights of the Gorilla Tracking in Uganda.

Schon der Blick von oben in den 600 Meter tiefer liegenden Ngorongorokrater ist überwältigend. Im Krater selbst erlebt man einen Garten Eden für über 25.000 Säugetiere.

Tansania hat 22 Nationalparks, die alle einen Besuch wert sind. Der Größte misst 30.893 km2, der Kleinste nur 3, der Älteste besteht seit 1951, die Jüngsten seit 2019.

Der Urlaub war wunderschön. Die Safari hat die ganze Familie begeistert und unser Guide (Heriel) war echt klasse. Er konnte jede Frage beantworten, hat uns Land, Natur und Menschen näher gebracht und uns natürlich alle Tiere inklusive der „Big Five“ gezeigt. Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis. Private Birding and Primates Tour March 2023

I write this on behalf of Christine, who is no member here but asked me to publish her review: I recently made an awesome birding tour in Uganda, organised by Nature Responsible Safari. It was a very last minute decision, but thanks to NRS's manager Isolde, that was not a problem at all. I felt safe all the way, lodges were all beautifully located, clean and with good quality food even for vegetarians :) My birding/safari guide and highly experienced driver George, knew everybody everywhere, and became a friend almost instantly. The local guides in Bwindi, Rwenzori, Bunyonyi, Mabamba swamps, Bigodi Wetlands, Nile and other cruises were all knowledgeable and taking obvious pleasure in guiding. Beyond this, Uganda is an extremely beautiful country, very green, fully deserving its name of "Pearl of Africa". An unforgettable trip and experience ! Christine, Luxembourg, March 2023
