Hints and tips for improving your chances of getting P!NK Summer Carnival 2024

Make sure you have a my ticketmaster account.

Get the basics covered before tickets go on sale by logging in and checking your Ticketmaster account ahead of time. If you don’t have a Ticketmaster Account then make sure you sign up in advance –  Ticketmaster.com.au .

Sign into your My Ticketmaster account ahead of time

Remember to triple check your passwords, account information, and billing information are all filled in correctly in advance, that way you’re not facing any last-minute account updates when trying to process your order.

Keep your options open with ‘Best Available’

Save time by searching “Best Available,” which scans all sections fast – it’s quicker than searching sections one at a time.

Keep an eye on the clock

There will be a time limit applied to all transactions as you are progressed through the ticket purchasing stages. Remember to keep an eye on the timer on your screen and move through the processing pages as quickly as possible (this is even easier when you’ve completed the account set-up stage we mentioned above).

Don’t refresh your screen

Stick to one window while you’re in the  Waiting Room  and when you’re being pushed through  the Smart Queue  and always resist the urge to refresh.

Hitting the refresh button means you’ll lose your place in the queue and, as frustrating as it can get, patience is the only way to win this game. Ticketmaster is equipped with sophisticated systems that are designed to manage and process ticket purchases as quickly as possible. The queuing system that appears on your screen will place you at the front of the line as soon as possible.

Remember: there are a lot of fans

We’re expecting this to be a very popular event. When a popular event goes on sale there are hundreds, and sometimes thousands, of customers all attempting to purchase tickets at the same time. Tickets are sold as long as seats are available, and when an act is this popular, sometimes they go very quickly.

Be sure to follow the above tips to ensure you have the best chance of snapping up some tickets.

P!NK will be bringing her SUMMER CARNIVAL tour to Australia in February 2024. Tickets are on sale via Ticketmaster.com.au.

Pink adds Tones and I to her Summer Carnival Australian tour

Pink has made two big announcements about her upcoming Australian stadium tour – including adding a new stop to the tour.

Pop superstar Pink has today revealed the support act for her upcoming Australian stadium tour: homegrown Dance Monkey singer Tones and I.

It comes as Pink also adds two more shows to the tour , her first time playing stadiums in Australia – with touring company Live Nation revealing that more than 725,000 tickets have already been snapped up.

The singer has been one of this country’s most popular touring acts over the past 20 years, completing multiple exhaustive arena tours, each with dozens of shows – her 2009 Funhouse tour broke the record for the biggest tour in the country’s history at the time, with more than 660,000 people attending.

But she’s never played stadiums in this country – until now. The Summer Carnival stadium tour is set to kick off at Sydney’s Allianz Stadium on February 9, before moving around the country.

The two newly-announced shows are a fourth and final show at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on March 13, and new tour-closing show at Queensland Country bank Stadium in Townsville on March 23. It’ll be a rare Far North Queensland performance for an international touring act, with most big tours not making it further than Brisbane.

Tones and I will open for Pink at all shows.

Tones And I’s addition to the tour comes after a big few years for the Melbourne-born singer-songwriter, who burst onto the scene in 2019 with the inescapable global smash single Dance Monkey.

Since then, she’s clocked up several more platinum-selling singles, including Bad Child, Fly Away and C loudy Day. She’s scheduled to play as Pink’s opener across all 16 shows of the Summer Carnival tour.

General public tickets go on sale on Friday August 18; Melbourne at 12pm and Townsville at 1pm, local time.

Live Nation presale tickets will be available from August 17.

Melbourne fans with a Live Nation access code can join the presale at 11am while Townsville tickets will become available for purchase from 12pm.

News that Tones & I was joining the tour and new dates had been added sent Aussie Pink fans wild.

Pink’s Summer Carnival tour of Australia and New Zealand is yet to wrap, but it’s already logged in the history books.

With just three dates left on the itinerary, Live Nation, producer of her latest epic trek Down Under, reveals nearly one million tickets have changed hands – a volume that’s by far the biggest for any female headliner to have toured ANZ.

And along the way, Pink has broken the attendance records at Sydney’s Allianz Stadium and at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium.

“Pink is one of the most amazing live performers to ever walk onto the stage,” comments Michael Coppel, chairman of Live Nation Australasia and Pink’s long-standing promoter in Australia. “I’ve been very privileged to share in her epic 20-year journey in Australia and New Zealand, where she has played more than 200 shows.”

In Australia, Pink punches in the heavyweight class in every statistical category.

When Summer Carnival is done and dusted, her total ticket sales in this territory will lift to more than 3.1 million across six tours, the largest career ticket sales ever accumulated by an international performer in ANZ, according to LN.

That career tally includes more than 658,000 tickets sold on her 2009 Funhouse tour, which spanned 58 arena shows; and her 2013 The Truth About Love trek, which played 46 arena shows and shifted more than 600,000 tickets.

According to Billboard Boxscore, Pink is the highest-grossing act of the 2010s in Oceania with about $135 million. She even has her own ladies’ toilet block at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre, where she has eliminated old attendance marks.

Earlier this week , Coppel, Pink’s manager Roger Davies and staff from Sony Music Australia and Live Nation presented the Philadelphia pop superstar with a special award, a memento of her latest recording-busting efforts.

“There is a palpable mutual love affair between the Australasian audience that love seeing her perform live,” adds Coppel, “and an artist who clearly loves being here. Congratulations, Alecia, on yet another stunning record-breaking tour and on an incredible career, with even greater success surely to come.”

Pink Concert Tickets

Pink's sensational 2024 au tour: a record-breaking adventure.

Pink Sets New Milestones with Her Upcoming Australian Tour! In what is shaping into an extraordinary musical journey, Pink is set to redefine concert experiences in Australia and New Zealand in 2024. The pop icon’s tour dubbed the ‘Summer Carnival,’ promises to be a spectacle of epic proportions, spanning 16 shows across Australia. This tour marks Pink’s triumphant return to the region and includes a groundbreaking first: her debut stadium concert in North Queensland.

A Historic Concert in the Heart of Queensland

Pink’s visit will reach its crescendo with a historic show at the Queensland Country Bank Stadium in Townsville on March 23. This venue, usually echoing with the cheers of rugby league fans, will transform into a concert hall for a night of unforgettable musical extravagance. This announcement was part of a more significant revelation at a press conference attended by government dignitaries, underlining the significance of this event. As stated at the conference, “Queensland is the only state where Pink plays three separate cities, and this is the only regional stop.”

Shattering Records and Expectations

Pink’s relationship with Australia is nothing short of phenomenal. Her 16 stadium concerts this tour are just one facet of her record-breaking streak, which includes surpassing 725,000 ticket sales, a feat she’s already well beyond. Roger Field, President of Live Nation Australia, noted the immense popularity of Pink’s shows, which “sold out in minutes across the country.” The extension of her tour to North Queensland is a testament to her unparalleled demand in the region.

An ‘Honorary Aussie’ Returns

Pink’s bond with Australia runs deep, earning her the affectionate moniker of an “honorary Aussie.” Her previous tours have left indelible marks on the Australian music scene. The 2009 Funhouse Tour stands out as a monumental achievement. Pink performed an astounding 59 shows over three months, selling 650,000 tickets – a remarkable feat considering Australia’s population was less than 25 million then.

In Conclusion

Pink’s 2024 Summer Carnival Tour is more than just a series of concerts; it celebrates her enduring relationship with Australian fans. With record-breaking sales and a lineup of shows in some of the country’s most iconic venues, Pink’s tour is poised to be an unforgettable musical odyssey, solidifying her beloved figure in the Australian entertainment landscape.

P!NK fans flock to Townsville as pop star prepares to take the stage in coup for regional city

Three women in front of Castle Hill, wearing Bring Pink to Townsville T-shirts.

P!NK super fan Kylie Morgan cried in her car this week, but it was not because she was sad.

After a 12-year campaign helping to bring pop star P!NK to the North Queensland city of Townsville, 1,300 kilometres north of Brisbane, she realised they had succeeded.

"It's only really hit me … I was driving and I just broke down," Ms Morgan said.

The pop star is set to perform this weekend, injecting nearly $50 million into the economy of a city better known in recent times for youth crime and natural disasters than hosting international stars.

Townsville turns pink

It is a major coup for the regional city — and a testament to what fans call P!NK power — and will be the largest event hosted at Townsville's  $300 million stadium since it opened in 2020.

More than 60,000 people will attend the two sold-out shows, including 20,000 concertgoers from outside the Townsville region.

Even the city's landmark Castle Hill has been lit up pink for the occasion.

A large rock hill - Castle Hill in Townsville- illuminated under a pink light. It's night time.

For Ms Morgan, who founded the Bring P!NK to Townsville group with Jo Aldridge and Allysha Catterall more than a decade ago, it was overwhelming.

"It's taken us so long for this to happen, and to see the whole town get on board," she said.

"I have not seen anything like this in Townsville."

Even coffee has turned pink.

Cafe owner Luke Guazzo has started serving pink coffees — coloured with strawberry sugar syrup and rose food colouring.

"It's a great little novelty. Everybody has really been jumping on board with the pink," Mr Guazzo said.

coffees and drinks coloured pink on a table

"We've also painted our external wall — it's a 10 metre-long wall — entirely pink.

"Everyone seems to have that extra spring in their step. It's obviously a big name to come to Townsville."

Mural artist Lavinia Letherby was so excited about the P!NK buzz she volunteered to paint a P!nk portrait on the side of a heritage-listed building in the CBD for free, with materials provided by local businesses.

She spent this week painting all day and into the night.

A woman with paint on trousers in front of a mural

"It's not often we get massive superstars coming to regional Australia, so to be able to celebrate that is amazing," Ms Letherby said.

"The goal would be to have P!NK come here and actually sign the mural. That would be insane."

A mural of P!nk on a building it says Pink Townsville

Not just crime and natural disasters

Townsville Chamber of Commerce chief executive Heidi Hatherell said the influx of visitors was allowing local businesses to showcase their hospitality.

"What a great welcome to all the visitors to the region," she said.

"Instead of thinking about the crime and disasters we're known for up here, they can go home talking about what a great, welcoming place it is.

"If we keep putting on a good show like this … and the promoters can see that we're all coming in droves to attend the concerts, then no doubt if they make money up here, they'll keep coming."

Three women , wearing Bring Pink to Townsville T-shirts.

Ms Morgan said regional residents longed to see live music close to home.

She has heard about people travelling thousands of kilometres to see P!NK in Townsville.

"When we first started the campaign, there were a lot of people who said they couldn't travel [to capital cities] because of medical reasons [or] they've got children, so it's really good to have her in regional Australia," Ms Morgan said.

"We've got people from Weipa, from Mount Isa, Rockhampton, we've got someone flying in from Tasmania, from South Africa.

"We can showcase what Townsville has to offer."

Recent tour reviews

When I first bought the tickets they seemed expensive but having attended the show I think they were worth every penny.

I felt that Pink is an amazing entertainer who engaged with the audience and also showed appreciation for the other performers. Not only this but she has ( as evidenced by the video clips) done lots of ambassadorship things for worthy causes.

I felt she can across as a very warm caring person of incredible talent and I enjoyed the whole event.

Would definitely like to see her in concert again. Truly spectacular.

I had seen P!nk live at Madison Square Garden in NYC once before when she had started using the silks onstage, so I knew her shows were impressive. But nothing prepared me for last night. Not only does she entertain with a well-choreographed show, she’s humble, she’s funny and the show brims with passion. This is a well-rehearsed production, yet she still makes it feel spontaneous. There are lots of fast rock-out songs with pyrotechnics but also quiet moments where her voice shines during the ballads. Highlights for me were the nod to Gwen Stefani/No Doubt blend of Just a Girl with her own Funhouse and her flying all around the arena like Tinkerbell during So What. What a phenomenal show. What a phenomenal performance. P!nk sure gives you your money’s worth. I tend to avoid big stadium concerts, but for P!nk I’ll gladly make an exception. Go see her! You won’t regret it.

This tour date was my second time seeing P!NK on the Beautiful Trauma tour. (I got to travel to Charlottesville for a date on the tour in 2019.) When the Charlotte, NC, date was announced for this March, I had hoped to be able to go because it's near my birthday this time. This date was just as awesome. (I have listened to P!NK's albums since her first album was released when I was an assistant manager in a music store.)

P!NK is personal, on point, and gives audience participation a new meaning. She's working hard to keep her body prepped to do everything she does on stage, and as a female in her age group as well as a lifelong singer and musician's spouse, I applaud her voice and her choices in everything she puts together for her concert tour dates. If you were hesitant to go to the tour date because you hear her music and do not go to concerts, then I recommend you try to go to at least one tour date. You will not be disappointed!
