Is there a dress code? If not what would one recommend to wear when dining here on a Friday evening? What is the "usual" Friday evening dress code here?

Smart casual is good in a restaurant such as this but above all enjoy the view and the food.

No apparent dress code, but everyone seemed to be wearing the smarter end of 'smart casual', ie, dresses or smart trousers and tops for the women, suits or jackets and trousers for the men.

Depending on whether u are dressing to impress? I'd say casual to smart casual but if coming straight fm work also fine

it's a lovely restaurant and there isn't a dress code. the way the restaurant is laid out, you arent really conscious of how others are dressed and i have been there in city suits and in casual dress... everyone does look lovely so it really is down to what you feel comfortable in... it's not unusual in that people drop in after a wonder round london, as a business dinner, or theatre dinner and i think i saw one couple on a date.. it's best described as smart casual through to smart... the food and wine is so good the dress code is insignificant.. and that's said by someone who loves to dress up as well as slip into a pair of jeans...

Hi, the dress code is smart casual. Personally my husband and I wouldn't wear jeans, although it is more casual in the Bar and Grill. A tie is not necessary.

Smart but casual is fine. You equally could never be over dressed as some folk are super smart. I am always stylishly casual.

Agree. You would feel out of place in shorts and tee shirt or sports top and trainers, but otherwise anything goes.

You can where anything that is smart casual. I go here often and have worn anything from jeans with a pretty top to stylish dresses. My husband again has worn jeans and a shirt on occasion or slacks and a shirt. Most men will be in slacks and a shirt and women in dresses but what ever your comfortable with it doesn't have to be flashy.

You can see a mix of casual, smart, semi and full formal. It mainly depends on yourself. As long as there is a decent dressing even Jeans & T-shirt, it should be fine. Enjoy ur evening.

Cruise routes, times and prices

Here is some information on the usual routes taken by the Seine river boats, as well as departure and arrival times and the prices of the different cruises available.

The Bateaux-Mouches pier is located very close to the Pont de l’Alma on the Port de la Conférence. The boats depart from there and travel up the Seine towards Notre Dame de Paris, passing by the Louvre Museum, the Town Hall and the Conciergerie. The boat turns around near to the Arab World Institute. Passing via the Monnaie (Paris Mint), down a small arm of the Seine between the Ile de la Cité and the Left Bank, gives you a close-up view to admire the Cathedral of Notre Dame. The cruise continues alongside the Musée d’Orsay and the National Assembly towards the Eiffel Tower. Please note that the captain may change the route depending on the height of the Seine.

New Year’s Eve

It’s the biggest night of the year: there will be glitz, glamour, a banquet, a boat and those legendary fireworks… We’ve got a seriously decadent six-course menu, making the most of the world’s most prized ingredients, including truffles, lobster and foie gras. What’s more, if you opt for the earlier seating then £375 will secure you a place on our river cruise aboard The Erasmus to watch the famous firework display whilst sipping free-flowing champagne.  If you’d like a later table, and don’t fancy a turn on the open water then you can enjoy the same festive feast for £175 and ring in 2015 at the restaurant.
