Europe Center

The Berlin district of Marzahn was the largest large housing estate in the days of the GDR.

10 Best Shopping Streets in Berlin

In Berlin, pedestrian zones are spread all over the city. In some districts you will find exceptional shopping streets.

1. Kurfürstendamm

The most famous and popular shopping street is Kurfürstendamm, affectionately called Ku'damm by Berliners. It runs from Breitscheidplatz in Charlottenburg to Rathenauplatz in Grunewald and can be easily reached by the U9 U-Bahn line at the stop with the same name.

In addition to department stores and branches of large chains, you can find flagship stores as well as Armani, Chanel, and Yves Saint Laurent boutiques. Numerous restaurants and bars serving international specialties invite you to take a break during your shopping spree. The famous Café Kranzler is located at Kurfürstendamm 18/19, on the corner of Joachimsthaler Straße.

Kurfürstendamm was originally a boulevard and led the electoral riders from the Tiergarten to Grunewald. In its current form, Kurfürstendamm was created in the 19th century at the instigation of Otto von Bismarck, who wanted to turn Kurfürstendamm into the Champs-Elysées of Berlin.

Nearby is Europaplatz with the famous Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, which as a repaired ruin is a landmark of the city, the Zoological Garden, and KaDeWe, the most luxurious department store of Berlin.

2. Alexanderplatz

Alexanderplatz, also called "Alex" by Berliners, is located in Mitte, Berlin and is a central transportation hub. The Alexanderplatz station is one of the largest U-Bahn stations in the Berlin subway, accessible from underneath with the U5 U-Bahn line.

In addition to Galeria Kaufhof and Alexa, and the Art Deco shopping center, there are many smaller stores that invite you to shop, as well as numerous restaurants where you can take a break.

Formerly a parade ground, Alexanderplatz was transformed into a pedestrian zone in GDR times and was considered the center of the city and used for numerous major events.

In addition to many small stores offering mainly fashion and shoes, you can also find flagship stores of well-known brands, as well as designer objects and art boutiques. Clubs, bars, and restaurants provide lively nightlife in the area. Numerous theaters, cinemas, and variety shows invite you to visit.

When Berlin was still divided, Hackescher Höfe was located in East Berlin. Many of the old buildings were not renovated and fell into disrepair over time. After extensive renovation in 1990, numerous artists and designers settled here and Hackesche Höfe developed into a lively trendy neighborhood.

Hackesche Höfe was built in September 1906 and renovated in the 1990s and the buildings are now historical landmarks that are considered a special attraction. They represent the largest enclosed courtyard area in Germany and are still used commercially.

Not far from Hackescher Markt is the Berlin Cathedral, Museum Island, and the New Synagogue.

4. Friedrichstraße

Located in Mitte, Berlin, Friedrichstraße runs as a north-south axis through Berlin. The centrally located Friedrichstraße stop is served by the S2, S3, S7, and S9 S-Bahn lines and the U6 U-Bahn line.

The French-style department store, Galeries Lafayette, as well as the elegant Art Deco-style shopping center, Quartier 206 with its boutiques for luxury fashion, are located on Friedrichstraße. In addition, there are many exclusive boutiques, as well as branches of international fashion labels. The cultural department store, Dussmann, sells books of all kinds, DVDs, and CDs. Numerous restaurants and cafés invite you to relax.

Friedrichstraße was named after the Elector Friedrich III of Brandenburg. A memorial plaque at Friedrichstraße 180 commemorates the barricade fights during the March Revolution in 1848. After World War II, the GDR began rubble removal, and the street was divided by the Berlin Wall. The Palace of Tears commemorates the sad role played by the Friedrichstraße Station, which opened in 1882 during the period when Berlin was a divided city. After the fall of the Wall in 1989, today's modern shopping district was created between Checkpoint Charlie and the Friedrichstraße Station.

To the north of Friedrichstraße is the Palace of Tears, on the way south you pass the magnificent Unter den Linden boulevard, and to the south is the once infamous Checkpoint Charlie.

5. Torstraße

Torstraße runs between Mitte, Berlin and Prenzlauer Berg and is easily accessible by the U6 U-Bahn line, at the Oranienburger Tor stop, among others. Its not far from Hackescher Markt and has recently developed into a trendy district. You won't find big department stores and brand names here; the streetscape is characterized by many small stores, sought-after boutiques, fashion stores, trendy cafés, and design stores.

Here you can shop away from mass production and the large, well-known stores and in between strengthen yourself in one of the numerous small cafes or restaurants. Also many art designers have settled here, the Brutto Gusto flower and art gallery is worth a visit.

Until the century before last, Torstraße was the path along the old customs wall, which was used at that time to prevent smuggling and to stop deserted soldiers. It plays an important role in the novel "Berlin Alexanderplatz" by Alfred Döblin from the 1920s. Most of the houses on Torstraße were built between 1870 and 1900, and more than 50 buildings are registered as historical buildings today.

The oldest water tower in Berlin, the New Synagogue, and Hackeschen Höfe are nearby.

6. Wilmersdorfer Straße

Wilmersdorfer Straße is located in Charlottenburg, Berlin and is Berlin's oldest pedestrian zone. It can be reached by the U7 U-Bahn line, at the Wilmersdorfer Straße stop. In addition to well-known department store chains, numerous smaller stores invite you to shop, eat, and stroll. In the Wilmersdorfer Arkaden, right next to the Wilmersdorfer Straße subway station, you will find well-known fashion chains. Berlin's oldest department store was founded in 1906 under the name "Graff and Heyn" on the corner of Pestalozzistrasse. The building now houses a Karstadt branch. The Rogacki delicatessen is famous throughout Berlin for its fish specialties.

One of the oldest streets in Charlottenburg is Wilmersdorfer Straße and was originally just a small dirt road called Kleine Spreestraße. It has borne its present name since 1824. It witnessed looting during the Seven Years' War and when Napoleon moved into Charlottenburg Palace. During the First World War and the November Revolution, many violent confrontations took place here.

During the Second World War, Wilmersdorfer Straße was severely damaged. Julius Krautz, the last executioner of Berlin, whose life is described in the novel "The Executioner of Berlin," lived at Wilmersdorfer Straße 13.

Nearby you can find Charlottenburg Palace and Kurfürstendamm also invites you to visit.

7. Schloßstraße

Schloßstraße is the main shopping street in the Steglitz district of Berlin and can be reached by the U9 U-Bahn line, at the Schloßstraße stop. Four large shopping centers are located here, offering national and international goods. The most interesting is Das Schloss, where images of the starry sky and ocean waves are projected onto the ceiling every Friday and Saturday, providing an unparalleled shopping experience.

Nearby is Boulevard Berlin, Forum Steglitz, one of the first shopping malls in Germany, and the Irish fashion retailer, Primark. In the shopping centers as well as outside, numerous restaurants and cafés invite you to relax.

As one of the first paved streets in the Kingdom of Prussia, Schloßstraße was developed into a modern main street around 1900. The Wrangelschlösschen has been listed as a historic monument since 1923 today houses the Schlosspark Theater and a movie theater. It is one of the last surviving buildings of Prussian early classicism.

The 47-meter-high Bierpinsel with its polygonal tower dates from the 1970s. It is considered a landmark of Schloßstraße and has been listed as a historical building since 2017.

Also worth seeing is Steglitz Town Hall, built in 1898 from red bricks. The nearby Botanical Garden is one of the largest and most species-rich botanical gardens in the world.

8. Schönhauser Allee

Schönhauser Allee is located in the Prenzlauer Berg district and can be reached with U2 U-Bahn line. The Eberswalder Platz stop is in the middle of Schönhauser Allee. However, you can also get off at Senefelder Platz or directly at the Schönhauser Allee stop. Here, everything is cool and casual. There are small original stores with current fashion that are often unusually furnished and have unique items, including hats, jewelry, and vintage designs.

The "Kauf Dich Glücklich" fashion boutique has an interesting name and is also a café. It is now considered a Berlin institution. In the area there are numerous restaurants and cafes for breaks during and after your shopping spree. Also check out the Kulturbrauerei , it has a deceptive name. Today, there is a cinema, theater, clubs, a museum, as well as restaurants instead of beer barrels. It’s housed in the Schultheiss brewery building, which opened in 1891, it has been used for its current purpose since the end of the 20th century.

In the Middle Ages, Schönhauser Allee was built as a connecting road between Berlin and the surrounding villages. At that time, it was called Pankowscher Landweg.

In 1899 the first electric streetcar ran here, and the elevated railroad was opened at the beginning of the 20th century. The Prater, founded in 1837, has 700 seats and is the oldest beer garden in Berlin. Theater and variety shows are held in the Prater Theater.

The Zeiss Grossplanetarium is nearby and only 2 subway stops away is Rosa Luxemburg Platz and Alexanderplatz with the TV tower.

9. Frankfurter Allee

Frankfurter Allee stretches across the Berlin districts of Friedrichshain and Lichtenberg and can be reached with the U5 U-Bahn line, at the Frankfurter Allee stop. Here, in addition to many cozy cafes, restaurants, and bars, there are also unusual store concepts such as Spitzen&Spätzle, where lingerie is sold along with southern German specialties. Second-hand items can be purchased at reasonable prices in the Humana Store. The F95 Store offers international fashion highlights from fashion shows.

The Ring Center, with over 100 specialty stores, is one of the best-known shopping centers on Frankfurter Straße.

Originally laid out in 1708 by Margrave Albrecht Friedrich of Brandenburg-Schwedt as an army road, it was renamed Stalinallee for Stalin's 70th birthday, and then it received its current name in 1961. The street played an important role in the battle for Berlin in April 1945, when it was one of the main routes along which the Red Army advanced towards the government quarter and the Reichstag. The annual demonstrations in honor of Rosa Luxemburg and Karl Liebknecht start on Frankfurter Allee. The Stasi Museum is nearby.

10. Karl Marx Straße

Karl-Marz-Straße is located in Neukölln and can be reached with the U7 U-Bahn line. The stop with the same name is in the center, but you can also get off at Neukölln or Rathaus Neukölln. Here, you will find the Neukölln Arcaden shopping center, which offers fashion, technology, and household goods. These can also be found at the many small retailers in the central area of the street. In addition, there are branches of C&A, Woolworth, and Hennes & Mauritz.

The Karstadt bargain center sells the remaining stock from all Karstadt stores. Otherwise, the streetscape is characterized by furniture stores, electronics stores, smaller department stores, as well as restaurants, cafés, and bistros.

The street was named after the philosopher and economic theorist Karl Marx on July 31, 1947. In the Rixdorfer Gesellschaftshaus, which was built in 1908, there is an original preserved cinema hall from 1909, as well as the Neukölln Opera House.

Arguably the most famous shopping street in the city, Kurfürstendamm (or “Ku’damm” as it’s known to residents) is often referred to as the Champs-Élysées of Berlin. Bikini Berlin is a concept department store next to the zoo in West Berlin. So if you’re looking for a red dress, you can head straight to the red dress section – it’s as simple as that. You probably already guessed by the name, but the PicknWeight – Vintage Kilo Stores across Berlin are based on the concept of paying for your vintage hauls according to weight. The company prides itself on its curation, always making sure to stock rare, one-of-a-kind pieces that will last.

Paul’s Boutique

Paul’s Boutique is a family of five vintage shops spread throughout the city. On Oderberger Straße 47 in Prenzlauer Berg, you’ll find the original store, Paul’s Boutique, stocked with vintage sneakers, leather jackets and collectable toys. Next door is Fundus, a shop that has become a popular go-to among local stylists – everything here is for rent, rather than for sale. Voo store, berlin.

Located in the heart of Kreuzberg , within a 300-square-metre (3,229-square-foot) courtyard space on the ground floor of a former locksmith’s shop, Voo Store is a bit of a hidden gem. The team carefully curates a selection of progressive clothing and footwear from local and international designers. While its unique pieces often come with a high price tag, you can find a bargain in its new archive space, Compact Market. Here, you’ll find a selection of garments from its past collections – all with reduced prices. And when all that shopping leaves you exhausted, grab a coffee at Voo Store’s in-house café, Companion Coffee.

Run by two creative immigrants, Studio183 began as an experimental pop-up shop in 2016. Today, it has evolved into a concept boutique, selling a selection of fashion goods from young and established Berlin-based and international designers and artists. With two locations in both East and West Berlin, the interior is minimal and understated, leaving the pieces to speak for themselves. Each piece has a unique story behind it, making a trip to Studio183 just like visiting an art gallery . Check out the store’s first in-house “Geld” collection in collaboration with designer Veronika Hopponen. Many of the playful pieces are selected vintage items that have been dyed, cut and screen-printed with playful illustrations.

Andreas Murkudis

Before opening his first store in 2003, Andreas Murkudis spent 15 years directing Berlin’s Museum of Things. He established his second, current store in 2011, located in the former printing workshop of the Tagesspiegel newspaper on Potsdamer Straße. Murkudis doesn’t follow trends; instead, his selection of fashion, accessories and homeware is based on his fundamental belief in clean aesthetics and quality that lasts. You could spend hours exploring the store, but when you’re done, there’s a variety of art galleries just next door. At Blain|Southern, you can visit the space’s ever-changing collection of international contemporary art, while Galerie Thomas Fischer is known for its rotating photography exhibitions.

Get lost in bookshops

Dussmann das kulturkaufhaus.

This multi-storey bookstore is the ultimate playground for literature lovers. Located in the popular shopping area of Friedrichstraße, it’s home to a 300sqm (3,229sq ft), two-storey English bookshop. From novels and non-fiction to poetry and children’s books, you can find pretty much any publication that’s on your reading list here.

Curious Fox, Berlin

Curious Fox is the place to visit when you’re on the hunt for new and used English-language fiction. The Neukölln-based store has been catering to the English-speaking community for over 10 years and offers a huge library of literature. They even have Irish-language books thanks to the Ireland-born owner, Dave Gordon. The space also holds a popular quiz night on the third Tuesday of every month. Participants are encouraged to bring a buzzer (or something that makes a loud noise) for the rapid-fire round. They also have a bring-your-own-vinyl evening called “Guinness, Books & Records”.

Do you read me?!

Located on Auguststraße in Mitte , do you read me?! is more than just a bookstore. Along with countless magazines and books from around the world, the cultural space also hosts lectures, book signings and exhibitions. While you’re in the area, check out the surrounding art galleries and stop for a coffee at THE BARN, an independent coffee chain that sources its beans from sustainable coffee growers.

Shakespeare and Sons, Berlin

Coffee , books and bagels – what more could you need? Shakespeare and Sons first opened in 2002 in a former brothel in Prague’s Vrsovice neighbourhood before relocating to the Malá Strana district to accommodate the ever-growing book collection. In 2011, it opened a second branch in Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin, and in 2014, it moved to Friedrichshain’s infamous “party street”, Warschauer Straße. Inside the quiet oasis, you can escape the city chaos, browse a large selection of English books and take a break at the in-house café.

Find a bargain at Berlin’s flea markets

If you’re visiting Berlin during the warmer months, a trip to Mauerpark on a Sunday is a must. The large flea market boasts many fashion, music, art and food stalls. Look out for the huge antique section where you’ll find all sorts of vintage design objects and bric-a-brac, from typewriters to old family photo albums. The surrounding park area provides endless entertainment too. You can walk along the path where the Berlin Wall once stood, stop and watch the many street performers and musicians, and if you’re feeling brave, join the famous Bearpit Karaoke – a giant outdoor amphitheatre where you can perform in front of hundreds of spectators, or just sit and enjoy the show.

Antique Market at Ostbahnhof

A century ago, women used to sell their wares under the old linden trees here, and today, over 120 antique dealers gather every Sunday to find homes for their furniture, art, design items and books. This historical market just outside Ostbahnhof station is perfect for treasure hunters and avid collectors on the lookout for something special. Other than larger items like vintage furniture, expect to find jewellery, stamps, coins, postcards and more.

Nowkoelln Flea Market

Situated next to the idyllic Landwehr Canal , the Nowkoelln Flea Market opens its stalls every Sunday . Here, can you shop second-hand clothing, rummage through records and buy locally made crafts and jewellery. There’s often live music and plenty of food stalls selling home-made cakes and more.

It’s often said that the early bird catches the worm (or the shopping deals in this case), but if you’re more of a night owl, perhaps the flea market at SO36 is more your style. Once a month, the legendary club transforms into a market hall full of vintage clothes, CDs, records, art and much more. It’s open from 8pm to midnight, but go early to beat the crowds.

With 70 different shopping malls you never have to travel far to go shopping in Berlin. On top of these malls there are also a bunch of outside areas like Kurfürstendamm, Friedrichstraße and Hackescher Markt. All these areas differ quite a bit when it comes to the shops, the foodcourts/restaurants, the connection and more. This article lists the best shopping areas and should make it easier to decide where to go.

In the west of Berlin, in the district Charlottenburg, the most famous shopping street of Berlin can be found. It’s called Kurfürstendamm and offers its visitors five kilometres of shopping pleasure. It’s a great mix of known brands, smaller boutiques, department stores and even a shopping mall (Europacenter). In the streets surrounding this area you can find many tasty restaurants for when you want to have a break.

Many songs, movies and books were inspired by the rich history of the Kurfürstendamm.

Authentic shopping in Berlin

Large shopping malls might have more shops per square meter but do not come close to the unique atmosphere of the Kurfürstendamm. Shopping in Berlin does not get more authentic than this. Walking around in this area is so much more fun than being inside a shopping mall. And if you really want to visit a shopping mall you can always go to the Europacenter which is located directly next to the Kurfürstendamm. One last benefit: You can combine shopping in this area with a visit to the Zoo , the Gedächtniskirche or a Christmas market .

Famous department store: KaDeWe

If you visit the Kurfürstendamm you should most definitely also visit the KaDeWe. This department store was build more than 100 years ago and is an experience by itself: With 60.000 square meters and 6 floors you can spend a good part of your shopping afternoon in this place. The products vary from cosmetics to clothing and from music to furniture. On the sixth floor you can find many extraordinary foods from all over the world.

If you love a proper discount you could consider visiting the Designer Outlet in Spandau. It’s like a small town with outlets of all large fashion brands.

Although we just had a beautiful summer, the weather in Berlin can be rather cold in some months of the year. On these days it is pleasant to go shopping in an indoor shopping mall. On walking distance of Alexanderplatz you can visit a mall called Alexa . It offers 56.000 square meter of shops, a large foodcourt and you can even play bowling on the top-floor of the mall.

Convenient Shopping – Many shops close together

Alexa might not be the most authentic place to go shopping in Berlin but it is certainly a very convenient shopping area. It goes without saying that Alexanderplatz is easy to reach by both U-Bahn and S-Bahn. Besides that Alexa offers 180 different stores on three different levels. This means you will never have to walk far to get from one shop to another. With shops like Tommy Hilfiger, Quiksilver, Northface, Mango, Mediamarkt and Levi’s there is a nice range of shops for all ages and interests. A full list of shops can be found here .

Foodcourt with 17 restaurants

When you get hungry or thirsty during the shopping, you can always take a rest at the foodcourt. Alexa offers 17 different places to eat and plenty of chairs and tables. Alexa is open till 21.00 so you could even decide to have dinner here and do a bit of night-shopping. If you need some relaxation after a day of shopping you can always visit the day spa in the Radisson Blu Hotel which is not far from here.

One of my favourite places to go shopping in Berlin is Hackescher Markt. Although the amount of shops is way lower than most shopping malls, the atmosphere is way better. If you travel to station Hackescher Markt you will arrive on a small square with some restaurant and a market every Thursday and Saturday. When you walk a bit further in the direction of Rosenthaler Straße you will find many interesting fashion brands like RayBan, Oakley, Fossil, Adidas, Energy, Scotch and Soda, Diesel and more.

Central location with nice restaurants and bars

Besides a bunch of nice shops and boutiques its great that there are many nice restaurants and bars close to Hackescher Markt. You can grab a good pizza, there is a cosy tapas place (YoSoy) and our favourite Vietnamese place Manngo can also be found in this area. Reaching Hackescher Markt should not be hard because it’s just one station away from Alexanderplatz.

All in all we can summarise that Hackescher Markt is perfect for people who love to do a bit of shopping and enjoy a drink with some proper food afterwards.

Largest foodcourt in Berlin

Besides plenty of shops, the Mall of Berlin offers the largest foodcourt of Berlin. You will be able to eat everything from a quick snack to a real meal inside the mall. And if this is not enough you can always walk to Potsdamer Platz to enjoy some exclusive restaurants there. If you are done with shopping it’s not hard to find your next activity nearby: The Jewish Memorial, Cinemaxx cinema and Legoland are all on walking distance and you can even visit a large casino at Potsdamer Platz.

The newest shopping Mall in Berlin was opened in October 2018 and is called the East Side Mall. This mall is located directly in front of station Warschauer Straße and therefore has a perfect location for everybody who is staying in Friedrichshain. Besides plenty of interesting shops you can find a fitness-club, a cinema, two supermarkets and even a bowling-alley here.

120 versatile shops and many nice restaurants

The East Side Mall does not have as much shops as the Mall of Berlin or Alexa but still offers many great brands like Bershka, Weeklday, Vero Moda, Monki, H&M, Rituals and more. What’s great about the Mall of Berlin is that besides a foodcourt there are also many very nice restaurants closer to the Mercedes Benz Arena. You can have a lovely hamburger in places like Hans im Glück or Five Guys for example.

A visit to the East Side Mall can be easily combined with watching a sport-match or enjoying a concert of a cover band . All of this can be found in the Mercedes Benz Arena. On the other side of the street you can find the Spree and the East Side Gallery . All in all the East Side Mall is a nice place for some shopping in Berlin.

6. Friedrichstrasse

1. KaDeWe is not a shopping mall, it’s a department store. I would also not describe their prices as very affordable. 2. Unfortunately I cannot answer that question because I have never experienced racism like that or heard someone about it. I have seen it in the news but cannot point out a specific area where the changes are larger that it happens.

The first two things can be bought in the larger department stores . Homemade beers can be bought close to Ostkreuz, at Strassenbrau.

I am not really sure what the prices of the guides are but Google will be able to help you there.

You could have a look in Mauerpark or at the Rathaus in Schöneberg. But it is probably best to check their website out before you go, just to be sure!

the public transport in Berlin is awesome so you will be able to reach almost all shopping areas in this article within 15-30 minutes. The closest one would probably be Alexa.

Regarding the weather: It can be quite cold in October so I would definitely take a solid jacket and some warm jumpers.

When in your opinion will start Winterschlussverkauf 2016/2017, because on official site they suggest that from 30.01.2017 until half of Feburary. Is it “safe” from sales point of view go to Berlin on 4th-5th of Feburary.. it is not too late ?

the best would probably be to visit the Outlet in Spandau , but if you do not have time for that I would suggest visiting a “normal” shopping-mall and enjoying the sales there. There will normally be some sale in the beginning of October.

The real sale will start in January. There are some small sales now but the larger discounts can be found after the second week of January.

The shops are normally not open on Sundays and I do not expect them to be open on the 1st and 3rd of January.

But I just read on the website of Mall of Berlin (Potdamer Platz) that the shopping Mall is open on the 31st of December (till 16.00) and also on the 3rd of January.

Berlin has a very good public transport system. I live here for more than 3 years now and never had to wait for a train or subway longer than 5-6 minutes.

Mitte and Prenzlauer Berg are probably areas you would have a good time with your family.

The weather should be fine in the end of April. It has been good the last couple of weeks already so normally that should be fine.

There are no big discounts around that time of the year. But you could easily get to shopping centers like Alexa and the new Mall of Berlin.

Alexanderplatz is very central and you will be able to visit a lot of cool attractions. The Fernsehturm is probably the first one 🙂

If you are going to be in Berlin for 5 days you can see several shopping centers.

There will not be a big sale, that one is going on as we speak. But there will be enough discounts I guess.

The nearest shopping center is the one in Friedrichstraße. It will be very close to your accomodation.

But from station Friedrichstraße you will be also able to reach Hackischer Markt (1 stop with S-Bahn) Shopping-Mall Alexa (two stops with s-bahn) very easily.

Normally there is no large sale in December but some shops will have some minor promotions.

Two days will be hard if you want to do shopping and see some nice attractions but it is possible if you get up early and use a tight schedule.

Shops are open till 20.00 most of the time. Alexa would be a great location and there is also a new shopping Mall close to Potsdamer Platz. I will update this article soon with that location.

The Kadewe is defenitely a great suggestion. Also Galeria Kaufhof at ALexanderplatz has a lot of products for babies. Across the street you can find shopping mall Alexa for more shops.

This all depends a lot on your preferences. How much do you want to spend and what are your plans?

Most people like Friedrichshain because there are many great clubs and the area is very “alive”. The great thing about Berlin is that you can reach every corner of the city in about 30 minutes with public transport. So in general I anything in Friedrichshain, Kreuzberg, Prenzlauer Berg or Mitte is fine. Good luck!

The suggestions in this article are some great spots to do shopping in Berlin. I agree that many other big cities have their shops more centrally together but a shopping-mall like Alexa will give you a few hours of shopping-fun for sue.

Yes it will not be difficult. You can take the S-Bahn to Zoologischer Garten and this will take you about 15-20 minutes. From there it is about 5 minutes walk. The Hard Rock Cafe is located in at Kürfurstendamm so it should be quite easy to combine that with some shopping!

I know that there are a few cool shops on the topfloor of the Alexa. One is Quicksilver and I think also a Northface and one other shop which sells that kind of clothing. Maybe have a look in the full list of shops in the article.

There is sale in many shops in Berlin at the moment. If you really want to shop and not much more I would suggest you visit Alexa: Three floor full of shops and many interesting brands.

There are three puma-stores in Berlin but none of them is close to my suggestions. Maybe visit the one at Alte Potsdamer Straße 7, it is not far from Mitte by public transport.

Hi Timo! That outlet is quite cool but in August you will find a lot of Sale in Berlin anyway. Maybe you should visit some of the places in this article and if you do not find what you are looking for you can always visit the Outlet. It is a bit out of the city and not so easy to reach.

Hugo Boss needs no introduction: it’s famous in the world of men’s fashion for those perfectly tailored suits. But between its two premium fashion brands, BOSS and HUGO, it offers more than just menswear. Where to shop: Ku’damm, of course. Located at Kurfürstendamm 25, the Boss Store offers the Hugo Boss experience for both men and women. Kauf Dich Glücklich began as a café that sold mid-century furniture. Over two decades later, it's a lifestyle store with Berlin's signature quirkiness written all over it. You no doubt know the name and recognise the three-stripe logo. But did you know that two of the biggest names in street style, Adidas and Puma, were founded by brothers Adi and Rudolf Dassler in Bavaria, Germany ? Since 1949, Adidas has released some of the most coveted sneakers in the world, like the Gazelle, Samba and Campus sneakers. The brand has also collaborated with fashion stars like Stella McCartney, Grace Wales Bonner and Yohji Yamamoto. Runners and yogis alike will find sports shoes, activewear and training accessories among the brand’s expansive offering.

Where to shop: It’s hard to choose between the two adidas flagships in Berlin. The Adidas Originals Flagship Store in Berlin Mitte offers limited edition products, as well as select items from its special collaborations, while the Adidas Flagship Store on Tauentzienstrasse is a modern, interactive concept space that spans three stories. Speaking of shoes: Berlin-based Aeyde has garnered a cult following for its handcrafted footwear. The leather goods label also carries bags and other accessories, all made in Italy from high-quality materials.

Where to shop: If you visit Berlin before the end of July 2024, you’ll have a chance to stop by the famous Galeries Lafayettes before it bids adieu ! to the city. Don’t worry if you miss that opportunity, though. You can find a range of Aeyde styles at KaDeWe or at the luxury shoe store Budapester .

If Aeyde is the “sole” of Berlin, eyewear label Mykita is its face. Not only has it called Berlin home since it was founded in 2003, but it also has that iconoclastic vibe felt in every corner of the city. Designed and manufactured at the Mykita Haus in Kreuzberg, its range of optical glasses and sunglasses can be described as unconventional, innovative and unique. There’s a reason that they’re fashion’s favourite frames.

Where to shop: Andreas Murkudis is part-boutique, part-gallery. Housed across three distinct spaces on Potsdamer Strasse, this highly curated collection is staged like an exhibition. In addition to fashion, this store also carries artisanal goods from other German brands and heritage houses.

Have you run out of space in your suitcase by now? German brand Rimowa is the leading name in luxury luggage. Founded in Cologne in 1898, the brand is most famous for its aluminium suitcase – a style that has endured for decades. 2NE1 Comeback 2024: World Tour Cities & Concert Schedule

YG Entertainment’s iconic girl group 2NE1 will reunite and even go on a world tour in the coming days. The music label has revealed the girl group’s plan to hold their 15th-anniversary concert in October and tour more countries in the forthcoming months.

2NE1 debuted in 2009 with four members: Bom, CL, Dara, and Minzy. While most K-pop groups disband or some members leave a group after their initial seven-year contract is over, 2NE1’s unity has impressed fans. Even when the group was on a continuous hiatus, they kept their bond intact and assured fans that they would return as a whole group.

The girl group has kept their word and is finally returning to the music scene in 2024. With the backing of YG Entertainment, fans also expect that 2NE1 will release new music and keep up their artistic momentum.

2NE1 comeback: YG K-pop girl group world tour 2024 schedule

2NE1’s reunion will happen through the group’s 15th anniversary tour. The girl band will hold the first world tour concert in Seoul in October. Later, they will travel to Tokyo and Osaka for more concerts in November and December.

YG Entertainment’s head producer, Yang Hyun-Suk, teased in a video that fans can expect the group to visit international cities for concerts next year after the beginning of the much-anticipated world tour.

Meanwhile, 2NE1 had previously surprised fans with a surprise reunion at Coachella 2022. The reunion likewise sparked a frenzy within the fandom. Two years after their Coachella reunion, the group will return officially to the K-pop scene in October 2024.

Music-wise, 2NE1 dropped their last single, “Goodbye,” in 2017, which earned over 160,000 downloads within the first week of its release. The song charted at 23 on South Korea’s Circle Digital Chart (named Gaon Digital chart at the time of the release).

Warren Haynes Band new music

Ahead of the new record’s release, Haynes has released one song this year.

The searing, bluesy “No Need To Worry” featuring Cactus and Jorgen Carlsson is four minutes of wailing guitar riffs, impassioned yowls, and show-stopping tempo changes.

While we don’t know if it will appear on “Million Voices Whisper,” we still recommend giving the six-minute jam a spin here .

According to Rock and Blues Muse , Haynes will be joined by a “new all-star lineup” that includes “Gov’t Mule bassist  Kevin Scott , veteran WHB member and two-time Grammy Award-winning drummer  Terence Higgins,   Greg Osby  on sax and…longtime friend and famed keyboardist  John Medeski  (most notably known as one-third of the groundbreaking trio Medeski, Martin & Wood).”

Travis Kelce reportedly went on a European shopping spree for his girlfriend , Taylor Swift, before her Eras Tour shows in Milan earlier this month.

The Kansas City Chiefs player spent nearly $75,000 on several stylish pieces from lavish designers including Valentino, Prada, Bottega Veneta, and Fendi to add to Swift’s wardrobe as they hit the fashion capital together, the Sun reports .

“Travis knows Taylor loves these brands,” a source told the outlet. “He wants her to have a true Italian touch in her closet.”

“Travis loves Valentino, both for him and Taylor,” said the insider.

Kelce, 34, allegedly settled on four Valentino pieces for Swift: a $16,000 short embroidered dress, a $5,200 tweed dress, a $3,330 calfskin hobo bag and Garavani Escape large shopping tote.

He also purchased a few more pieces from Prada including a $3,200 mini dress.

At Bottega Venetta, Kelce reportedly bought a pair of Sharp Chain Pumps for $1,350 and another pair of Cha-Cha Lace-up calfskin shoes, which retail at $1,600.

He finished up his shopping trip by hitting Fendi where he purchased another bag, a pair of silk pants, and a silk dress for a combined total of $11,500.

“This Euro part of her tour is turning into an exceptional experience because Travis is supporting and showing her love 24/7,” the insider said.

“Their time spent in Milan was a unique experience for Taylor, as Travis showed just how much he loves to gift her meaningful presents.”

In addition to the costly gifts, the outlet also reports that the couple is allegedly looking to buy a home in Lake Cuomo together.

Reps for Kelce and Swift did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.

The new report comes shortly after it was revealed that an American man, who was allegedly stalking Swift, was arrested on Wednesday night ahead of her show in Gelsenkirchen, Germany .

The man allegedly made threats against her and Kelce on social media.

When event organizers warned authorities, he was detained after “an initial investigation couldn’t entirely rule out a risk” and was held behind bars until the singer finished up her shows in the city.
