Was great. The driver, I forgot his name, was really good and funny. Wasn't horrible at driving like a lot of the other tours we have been on. Respectful and just a good experience over all.

Starline Tours now has an office based out of Anaheim! I recently had the opportunity to tour Madame Tussauds Hollywood, the stars homes, as well as the Warner Brothers Studios. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I am born and raised in Southern California and I have never experienced any of these tours. It really opens your eyes to what Los Angeles and Hollywood is all about! I can't wait to try the TMZ Tour! Others that I know really enjoyed the tour! Another added plus is that they pick-up and drop off from your local Anaheim Hotel!

I went on the 7hr tour from anaheim to L A and I had a wonderful time. I went 9/19/19 and Big Lou bus 91 was our driver. He was so funny and knowledgeable. Everyone on the bus was so kind. Will use starline again!!!

The L.A. tour starting from Anaheim really couldn't be any better. The driver who manages the tour is an awesome guide and really has the right amount of experience of the city, it was the most stress-free trip through the freeway system I've ever had. It's definitely plus when the tour guide knows how to spot out famous people too. Note, there are different tours, the one we went on was the main tour that takes a good half day, but definitely covers a lot of good juicy areas across the city.

The bus started out 10 minutes late. When we finally got picked up we loaded the dirty bus I sat on urine which penetrated the entire bus still. The driver put a plastic bag so no one sat on it. So far been here 35 minutes he could have cleaned the seat. While he visits outside the bus. A tissue is also hanging from a vent. No light in the bathroom had to lift ceiling tile to get in and out of the restroom. So far not impressed. $220 for this experience never Again!!!!

Took two tours with them and both drivers, Nick and Razaar, were great, funny, and informative. They got us to our tours safe and sound and we left on time both times. Great tours, great drivers.

Friendly and informative drivers. Comfortable buses. Plenty time allowed to explore various locations. Air con on bus. Good value.

What a bait and switch. Took this tour to universal studios and thought we would leave straight from the hotel (as advertised). But after arriving twenty minutes late, it took us 3-4 blocks down the street and kicked us out at what looks like a deserted hotel. Then after waiting in line to actually get our tickets (served to us by what seems to be at least two children) we're placed on our real bus full of screaming children and smelling like the chemical toilet in the back. Seriously...its a 30 mile trip, why the hell are we using a toilet. Then we have the bus driver who is being way too friendly and hoping that the last (late) bus gets here so we can actually make our way to the park. Were also asked to be back on the bus at 630, about 3 hours before the park closes. Isn't that rush hour? What's the point of leaving early? Oh and the driver just said if hes racist or curses just to ignore him...classy. Edit: Oh god hes trying to be funny (Adman?) He's blowing out the speakers everytime he talks....he just won't shut up... TLDR Take a taxi.

Know your audience. We scheduled a hotel pick up. When I called in the Am, the woman said, just walk across the street to our office.. not an issue, just an observation of her tone.. we are from out of town, so we didn't know it was so close.. our driver was annoying.. every few minutes he would say good morning on the ride to universal studios.. it was early and you could sense the tension of passengers b half hour in... we did not want to spend 80minutes saying good morning, Perhaps less chatter would bring a bigger tip... also the tour is advertised as 9-7. We were not leaving park until 6:15p so there is no way we would be back to Anaheim before 8p. If you had other plans for the night, you would not make it.. we ended up taking an Uber home, as we did have plans that we already paid for, with the assumption, 7 p, meant no later than 7:30. The tour is convenient way to get to universal, but pleasant is not a word I would use.

Went on a tour Tuesday....Seems that the manager has no idea what he's doing but thankfully we ended up in the line of a gal Jeniffer I believe, who said she's new but got us through the line much faster than others working there.Very kind and knows what she's doing.Starline- please put her in charge! (Our group all agrees) Also, our Universaltour was very good and we are pleased with our experience. Will come again.

Starline Tours starts Hopper Express bus service between Disneyland and Hollywood

Southern California visitors have a new option for avoiding driving themselves down I-5, because Starline Tours is now offering a daily Hopper Express bus service with round-trip transportation between the Disneyland Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood.

The Starline Hopper Express shuttle bus , which launched earlier this month, connects Los Angeles visitors directly from the company’s Hollywood & Highland Terminal on Hollywood Boulevard to the area’s popular theme parks for one price, with no stopping, avoiding car rental and parking. The cost is $25 per person, round trip, about the same as parking at theme parks, and less than a round trip in a rideshare vehicle. The Hopper Express drops passengers at the meeting point for Universal Studios Hollywood, Knott’s Berry Farm and Disneyland Resort.

The transportation is aboard an air-conditioned coach with complimentary Wi-Fi, onboard arrival information for each destination, is ADA serviceable, and the schedule offers late transfers to maximize time at theme parks. In addition, Starline Hopper Express buses utilize highway commuter lanes for expedient service.

Adults and children are $25 each, round trip. Departing Hollywood to Anaheim, morning departures are at 7:30 and 9:30 a.m., and return at 5:00 p.m. daily, with an extra late service in summer departing at 7:30 p.m. between June 1 – August 31.

For Orange County theme park goers wanting to hop up to L.A. for Hollywood and Universal Studios Hollywood, riders can catch the early 7:00 a.m. Hopper or the 10:30 a.m. Time on board is approximately one hour.

The Express Hopper will operate daily except Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day and during the Academy Awards weekend.

Starline Tours is the original Hollywood tour bus company. Starline first began busing tourists into the Hollywood Hills in 1935 and continues to be one of the largest tour operators in Los Angeles. Starline offers hop-on, hop-off tours, celebrity home sightings and tours, as well as private tours for couples and small groups. Starline’s headquarters is based right in the center of Hollywood in front of the famed Chinese Theater on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. They also have locations in Anaheim and West LA, as well as a storefront to purchase tickets and get tour information on the Santa Monica Pier. The Orange line of their popular hop-on, hop-off bus service stops in Santa Monica on Ocean Avenue right at the top of the Santa Monica Pier next to the famous Yacht Harbor sign .

Starline is probably best known for their large double-decker “London” buses with open roofs so riders can soak in the California sun. Other popular tours operated by Starline include a Warner Brothers VIP Tour, City and Beach Tours, and full day excursions to San Diego and Tijuana. Starline will pick you up from over 250 hotels in the greater LA area.

Sightseeing buses and hop-on, hop-off tours are a great way to experience the vast city of Los Angeles, especially if you’re short on time and don’t want to pay more expensive fees to rent a car or ride share.

You can purchase tickets online ahead of time (recommended, especially during summer and busy seasons) or at their Hollywood or Santa Monica Pier location.
