Sunrise Avenue: Thank You For Everything – The Final Tour

Suomen kansainvälisesti menestyneimpiin yhtyeisiin lukeutuva Sunrise Avenue pääsee viimein hyvästelemään faninsa Thank You For Everything – The Final Tour -kiertueella. Suomen konsertit järjestetään kaksi vuotta alkuperäisen suunnitelman jälkeen yhtyeen kotikaupungin pyhätössä Helsingin Olympiastadionilla perjantaina 8. heinäkuuta ja lauantaina 9. heinäkuuta. Menestyksekkään uran sekä Suomessa että muualla Euroopassa tehnyt Sunrise Avenue ilmoitti lopettamisestaan kansainvälisessä lehdistötilaisuudessa joulukuussa 2019. Askelmerkit oli mietitty hyvin. Suunnitelman mukaan bändin piti hyvästellä faninsa jäähyväiskiertueella kesällä 2020. Kiertuetta jouduttiin kuitenkin siirtämään kahdesti koronaviruspandemian takia. - Nyt on lopulliset lavarakenteet ja muut selvillä ja pääsemme tekemään viimeiset viilaukset unelmakeikkaamme varten. Sormet syyhyävät täällä jo kovasti. On ihanaa mennä kohti kesää ja kaikkien aikojen Sunrise Avenue -iltoja, kommentoi Samu Haber. Sunrise Avenuen seitsemäntoista viimeistä keikkaa nähdään muun muassa Saksassa, Sveitsissä ja Itävallassa kattava jäähyväiskiertue käynnistyy Sveitsistä toukokuussa ja päättyy Saksaan syyskuussa. Kaikillle tutut hitit Hollywood Hills, I Don’t Dance, Forever Yours ja Fairytale Gone Bad -hiteistään tunnetun yhtyeen kappaleet ovat kuin luotu koettavaksi isoilla areenoilla. Vuonna 2002 perustettu ja 2006 debyyttilevynsä On The Way To Wonderland julkaissut Sunrise Avenue on yksi Suomen kansainvälisesti menestyneimmistä yhtyeistä. Yhtyeen viittä julkaistua studioalbumia ja kokoelmalevyä on maailmanlaajuisesti myyty lähes 3 miljoonaa kappaletta. Yhtyeen viimeiseksi jäänyt studioalbumi Heartbreak Century nousi suoraan julkaisunsa jälkeen Saksan albumilistan ykköseksi ja on myynyt Saksassa kultaa. Thank you for everything – the final tour, olympic hall.

Finally the time has come: After many postponements Sunrise Avenue come to the Olympiahalle.

After originally all concerts of the "THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING TOUR" in Germany were sold out within a few minutes and the tickets were sold in record amounts, thousands of fans are now expected at the concerts this year as well. 

Sunrise Avenue released their debut album "On the Way to Wonderland " in 2006 and became one of the most internationally successful Finnish rock bands. The band looks back on five studio albums, as well as a "Best of" album and sold over 2.5 million records worldwide.

With the last album "Heartbreak Century" the band went directly to number 1 in the German charts and received gold status. "It is with a heavy heart that I have to announce that we have decided to end our journey together as a band. I understand why it may be difficult to understand why we are ending something so special. But behind all the success are a lot of things that can't be seen. There are many different people, all with their own needs and desires. There are millions of dotted lines along the highways, lonely hotel rooms and homes far away that we miss. There is also the feeling that we have achieved everything that was possible. Now it's time to take a deep breath and live for the next dream. We just have to dare to follow our hearts. And that's what we are now doing after much consideration," commented Samu Haber, lead singer, guitarist and founder of Sunrise Avenue about the tour.

The concerts have been rescheduled from 07/25/26/2020, 04/19/2021, 11/10/12/2021, 04/26/27/2022 to 09/14/15/2022. Tickets already purchased will remain valid.

Children under the age of 6 will not be admitted to the event. Children between 6 and under 14 years of age may only be admitted if accompanied by a person with legal guardianship or a person with parental authority.
