Apart from their forthcoming world tour, The Rose have also announced an exclusive contract with Transparent Arts . In a report by Billboard , Transparent Arts’ executives announced that the company, alongside Wasserman Music, will now be representing the band.
“We look forward to fully supporting their creative vision with their upcoming album ‘Heal’ and continue to help expand their global fanbase,” James Roh, COO of Transparent Arts, said of their contract with The Rose.
The band also released a group statement confirming the news, stating that the Transparent Arts team “respects our vision” and that they are “excited to have their support as we grow further in our careers.”
The group’s change in management comes a year after their departure from J & Star Company. In 2020, the band filed a lawsuit against their former label , where they alleged a “lack of payment, breakdown of trust, and violation of exclusive contract”.
While The Rose’s request to terminate their contracts was initially denied, frontman Woosung revealed in June 2021 that the band eventually settled the lawsuit and parted ways with J & Star Company .

About The Rose
The Korean Alt Pop band is composed of four members: vocalist and guitarist Woosung, vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Dojoon, bassist Jaehyeong, and drummer Hajoon. Renowned since their inception for electrifying performances, The Rose quickly became one of Korea's most sought-after groups delivering a series of critically acclaimed albums that resonated with fans worldwide. In 2019, three of the band members temporarily went on hiatus to fulfill their mandatory military service obligations, during which Woosung pursued a successful solo career, releasing captivating albums and embarking on sold-out world tours. In a moment of sheer joy for their devoted fans, The Rose reunited during one of Woosung's performances in South Korea in 2022. This reunion paved the way for their first full-length album HEAL, which was inspired by the transformative power of music and the stories shared by both their fans and themselves. HEAL soared to #4 on Billboard's Heatseekers Chart, while their accompanying HEAL Together World Tour drew an overwhelming crowd of over 90,000 attendees. Now, with their sophomore full-length album DUAL which made the Mediabase 200 chart in its first week of sales, The Rose takes their music to new heights with Rolling Stone UK calling it “an album that takes you on a layered, emotional journey, full of elation, heartache and twists and turns - just like life itself.” Building upon the emotional honesty and vulnerability showcased in HEAL, this latest offering explores the profound concept of 'balance.' Seamlessly merging light and dark elements, The Rose masterfully weaves emotions and sounds, capturing the dualistic essence that defines their music.

Rosé unleashed her inner Swiftie as she graced the first night of Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour” stop in Tokyo, Japan. On TikTok, the BLACKPINK member shared a video of her jamming to Taylor Swift’s “All Too Well (10 Minutes Version). " “Best 10 minutes in Tokyo,” Rosé wrote in the caption. Swift’s Japan tour at the Tokyo Dome kicked off on Wednesday, February 7, and will cap off on Saturday, February 10. Her Japan stop marks the start of her Asia tour for “The Eras.” She will also headline six sold-out shows in Singapore —the only Southeast Asian stop for her The Eras Tour—from March 2 to 4, and March 7 to 9, where Sabrina Carpenter will join as a special guest. The Eras Tour is in support of her 2022 album " Midnights ," which includes her recent hits "Karma" featuring Ice Spice, and "Snow on the Beach." Ahead of her Japan concert, Swift announced the release of her newest album “ The Tortured Poets Department " on April 19 that will feature 16 songs plus a bonus track . Taylor won Album of the Year for "Midnights" at the Grammy Awards on Monday. She is the only artist in the history of the Grammys to win four Album of the Year awards . Meanwhile, earlier in January, Rosé teased a possible solo comeback after posting a photo from a recording studio . In December, it was reported that all BLACKPINK members renewed their contracts for group activities with YG Entertainment. In a follow-up announcement before 2023 ended, YG Entertainment said that Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo, and Rosé won’t be renewing their contracts for individual activities .

Korean pop-rock group The Rose closed out their recent Coachella performance with their 2023 song “Wonder,” bringing the University of Southern California marching band out for the performance.
“It was like a dream come true in a way,” main vocalist and keyboardist Dojoon tells The Hollywood Reporter on a Zoom call from Seoul.

The group reunited in 2022, releasing their first full-length album Heal . “I mean Heal was the fundamental … the deep backbone of our music,” says Dojoon. The album earned the group a No. 4 spot on Billboard’s Heatseekers Albums chart.
Last fall, The Rose released their second full-length album, Dual . Dojoon explains that the group wanted to experiment more with it. “It went pretty well, and we loved how the album came out,” the 31-year-old shares.
The Rose’s Coachella performance signified the end of their recent Dawn to Dusk tour — the second world tour the band has embarked on in the last two years alone. Dojoon describes it as the “essential version” of the tour — “short but powerful” as he puts it.
“Now, we’re back in our home resting, and if we look back to our videos and photos, it doesn’t feel like it’s a thing that happened to us,” Dojoon jokes about their Coachella experience. “It looked beautiful.”
Bringing the USC marching band out for the performance played into the “big picture,” as Dojoon puts it, in keeping with the scale that the group sees for their music. “When we write the songs, we’ll always imagine about huge-scale stadiums,” Hajoon adds.
“We feel like we love music so much,” Dojoon says explaining that he feels like that comes across when they’re playing live.
Post-Coachella, The Rose has a few things on the horizon. The group recently released a unisex fragrance Black Rose, named after their beloved fans. Dojoon says the group was very involved in the creation process, noting that they had 20 scents made and used a voting process to help decide.

Woosung adds that the group always had an idea of a signature scent that they and their fans would connect to their shows. “We definitely wanted to create that experience of always walking into our show and smelling this,” the 31-year-old singer says.
The group has another main objective for this time: Rest. “I think after such a long tour and just constant festivals, tours, albums, I think we wanted to rest a little bit,” Woosung says. “But I am pretty sure while we’re resting, we’re going to feel like we need to do something,” he adds noting that the group will start talking about their future plans “very, very soon.”
During this rest time, they have some individual plans as well. “I’m going to work out every single day,” Hajoon says, instantly met with questions from his bandmates. The 29-year-old drummer assures them that he’s already doing that. Meanwhile, Jaehyeong’s plans seem pretty clear. “I’ll take a rest every single day,” the 29-year-old bassist explains.
“I could confidently say that we already have the next album basically,” Woosung shares. “We have all the songs. We just got to make the details right, but we’ll rest for two months and come back soon.”
