• Botanical Garden: This beautiful garden and greenhouse is one of the postcards of Curitiba.
• Panoramic tour in the center of Curitiba: Santos Andrade Square (Guaíra Theater and UFPR - Federal University of Paraná - historical building), Tiradentes Square, Cathedral, Rua das Flores, Boca Maldita, 24 Hours Street, Paço da Liberdade, 19 de Dezembro Square, Promenade and Largo da Ordem.
• The Oscar Niemeyer Museum (external visit): dubbed the “Eye Museum”, this museum impresses everyone with its bold architecture.
• Pope's Woods: The Polish immigration memorial has houses of Araucaria logs that were built at the end of the 19th century and now serve as an open-air museum, close to beautiful woodlands (houses are closed on Mondays).
• Wire Opera House:  the glass and metal theater was built in a former quarry over a lake. There is live music at the lake. There is an entrance fee and it is closed on Mondays and when there are events on site. 
• Tanguá Park: gardens and observation decks overlooking the region.
• German Woods:  trail in the middle of native woods with Hansel and Gretel fairy tale.

SERVICE AGREEMENT

CONTRACTED PARTY Special Paraná Turismo Receptivo, a limited liability sole proprietorship (empresa individual de responsabilidade limitada), headquartered at na Rua Voluntários da Pátria, 262, sala 5 | 1º. Andar | Curitiba, Brazil, enrolled in CNPJ under No. 08.636.002/0001-83, hereinafter referred to as “Special Paraná Turismo Receptivo. ”

1. OBJECT The purpose of this instrument is the marketing and acquisition of tourism goods, products and services on the sites www.specialparana.com and/or www.curitiba-travel.com.br.

2. CONTRACTING PARTY/USER / CONDITIONS AND DATA This instrument will be governed by the following conditions, with the acknowledgement and consent of both parties, and the data of the CONTRACTING PARTY / USER correspond to the user filling out the forms in the system, in the MY USER section, according to the procedures contained in the terms of use.

2.1. PAYMENTS 2.1.1 Payment may be made by bank slip, debit card or credit card, according to the conditions contained in the terms of use, which at this time become an integral part of this instrument. 

2.1.2. The CONTRACTING PARTY / USER declares to be aware that prices may change due to exchange rate variations and / or government resolutions that demonstrably change them.

2.2. PRICES INCLUDE: Prices include only and exclusively what is contained in each description of each package / tour that is chosen, duly made available to the user in advance at www.specialparana.com and/ or at www.curitiba-travel.com.br

2.3 PRICES DO NOT INCLUDE: 2.3.1. Expenses for travel documentation as well as passports, visas, government taxes and others. Boarding Fees (airport) in Brazil and Abroad; Excess baggage expenses; Tourism taxes; Overnight stays in excess of scheduled times; Meals; Tips for baggage handlers exceeding one volume per person or maximum allowable dimensions; Optional tours; Personal extras (phone calls, laundry, bar, restaurant, sauna, gym, cable TV and others); Different departure transfers to official scheduled return date.

2.4 In general, anything not expressly mentioned in the description of the tour / package is understood to be excluded.

2.4. BAGGAGE 2.4.1. During bus tours, a medium-sized piece of baggage weighing no more than 23 Kg (twenty-three kilograms – 50.7 pounds) per person will be carried free of charge. Excess baggage will be accepted when the capacity of the vehicle allows. Excess baggage will be charged in the amount to be determined at the time of occurrence, and this charge is at the discretion of the local recipient. 2.4.2. During other services (transfers, city tours, etc.), in a private car, vans or private bus, a piece of medium-sized luggage weighing no more than 23 Kg (twenty-three kilograms) per person will be carried free of charge. In case of excess baggage, the local receptive will decide whether to charge a fine or cancel the service. The amount already paid will not be refunded. 2.4.3. Baggage is not subject to a contract of carriage. Therefore, for all intents and purposes, the passenger will always keep said baggage in his/her possession. Whichever part of the vehicle or hotel the luggage is placed in, or transported to, will be at the traveler's own expense and risk, without the CONTRACTING PARTY being liable for loss, theft, robbery or any damage that may occur as a result of lack of skill, negligence or recklessness. 2.4.4. The CONTRACTING PARTY / USER declares to be aware of the different rules regarding excess baggage, both land and air, and to be responsible for the payment of possible excess due to this divergence.

2.5. CANCELLATIONS: 2.5.1. The CONTRACTING PARTY / USER may request the cancellation of the contracted services according to the following conditions: 29 days before the start of the event, in case of cancellation, 20% of the total purchase price will be charged and any losses will be deducted. 2.5.2. If the cancellation occurs within 28 to 11 days before the event, in case of cancellation, 50% of the total purchase price will be charged and any losses will be deducted. 2.5.3. If the cancellation occurs 10 days or less before the date of the event, no amount will be refunded. 2.5.4. The CONTRACTING PARTY / USER declares to be aware of that the request for cancellation, to be valid, must be formalized in writing and sent by email. 2.5.5. In case of cancellation in special periods: Christmas, New Year's Eve, Carnival and Holidays and high season of destination, the administrative fee charged will always be 80%. 2.5.6. The refund rules are contained in the terms of use, which are an integral part of this instrument.

3. LIABILITY 3.1 The CONTRACTED PARTY is responsible for the planning, organization and execution of the programming and, even though it is an intermediary between the client and the other service providers involved (individuals and companies), The CONTRACTED PARTY is responsible for choosing, under the Brazilian Civil Laws and, where applicable, under the Consumer Protection Act. Accordingly, it is not responsible or liable for any acts, facts or events where the legal liability of other individuals or legal entities is direct or exclusive, as in the case of air, land, water or rail carriers, hotel services and local contracted companies, the CONTRACTING PARTY / USER is aware that the latter must be inserted in the passive pole of any judicial demand. 3.2 Regardless of the liability defined herein, the CONTRACTING PARTY is not responsible for delays, strikes, anticipation of times, weather conditions (storm, snowstorms, storms), natural disasters (such as earthquakes, hurricanes, etc.), government decisions, acts of terrorism, theft and / or robbery, as well as other force majeure or acts of God, and the possible personal expenses arising from such circumstances are the responsibility of the CONTRACTING PARTY / USER. 3.3 Public safety, including the safety of the clients of Special Paraná Turismo Receptivo, will be provided by the authorities of each country, and the CONTRACTED PARTY will not be held jointly and severally liable for any criminal events or facts. 3.4 The CONTRACTING PARTY / USER, during his / her free time or free day of programming, or when on local tours, public visits to museums, theaters, churches and other sights, even when on tour, will ensure their own personal integrity as well as that of his / her belongings. The CONTRACTED PARTY does not bear any responsibility for loss or theft of documents due to negligence, malpractice or recklessness of the CONTRACTING PARTY / USER. 3.5 The CONTRACTED PARTY reserves the right to ask any passenger to abandon the tour for any reason that directly interferes with his / her companions and may hinder the success of the tour; in this case, the passenger is not entitled to any refund for unused services. This event should be written down to term of responsibility and signed by two witnesses. 3.6. The CONTRACTING PARTY reserves the right to change the services contracted, in whole or in part, without prior notice and / or due to force majeure, for the proper progress of the trip, without prejudice to the CONTRACTING PARTY / USER. 3.7 The CONTRACTING PARTY and its partners will be exempted from liability in the provision of service, in case of delay or for any other reason caused by the passengers or third parties. It is local recipient’s discretion to perform the services or charge additional fees. In this case, the passenger is not entitled to any refund for unused services.

4. COMPLAINTS 4.1 In the case of complaints regarding the provision of services, the CONTRACTING PARTY / USER will send them in writing to the CONTRACTED PARTY's email not later than 30 (thirty) days after the closing of the services, as per Art. 26, item I, paragraph 1 of the Consumer Protection Code. If the CONTRACTING PARTY / USER does not do so, after this deadline, except in cases of hidden or hard-to-find defect, the contractual relationship will be considered perfect and terminated, and the CONTRACTED PARTY will be exempted from any liability. 4.2 Arbitration by mutual agreement may be adopted to settle any disputes arising from the application of this contract. 4.4 The CONTRACTING PARTY / USER is aware that the legal representatives of Special Paraná Turismo Receptivo, for all legal purposes, are situated at its headquarters at Rua Voluntários da Pátria, 262, room 5 | 1st. Floor | Curitiba / PR.

5. FINAL PROVISIONS 5.1. The CONTRACTING PARTY / USER declares that he /she is aware that it is his / her responsibility to have all necessary documents, passport, visas and vaccines, as well as any other specific destination requirements, duly valid. The CONTRACTING PARTY / USER further states to be aware of the rules governing such documents and their expiration dates. 5.2. The CONTRACTING PARTY / USER must leave his /her home country, with a valid passport and the necessary visas for your travel. The CONTRACTED PARTY will not be responsible, under any circumstances, for any damages, losses or deficiencies that may occasionally occur due to the lack of such documents. In this case, The CONTRACTED PARTY will apply the same conditions of cancellation and voluntary withdrawal of services. 5.3. In case of a group trip, the tour will be made possible with the minimum of passengers informed in the program. If this number is not reached, the trip may be canceled 30 days in advance, with due notice to those involved. 5.4. Check-in and check-out times must be respected. Occupancy before or after these hours will incur an extra daily charges from hotels directly to the passenger.

6. AGREEMENT 6.1. By participating in the chosen schedule, the CONTRACTING PARTY / USER, individually, or through its authorized Travel Agency, declares to know, and adhere contractually to, the general and specific conditions related to the program or service purchased. 6.2 The CONTRACTING PARTY / USER and the CONTRACTED PARTY undertake to respect the pre-established times for the operation, according to information from the replacement or responsible guide. 6.3. It is defined that the communications between the CONTRACTING PARTY / USER should be made preferably by email. 6.4. The CONTRACTING PARTY / USER declares to be aware and in accordance with the terms and conditions of this instrument, as well as the terms of use and privacy policy contained in the CONTRACTING PARTY's websites mentioned herein. 6.5. The signature of this instrument will be in digital form upon acceptance of its terms in the CONTRACTED PARTY's system.

7. JURISDICTION 7.1. The parties choose the courts of the City of Curitiba to settle any doubt or dispute arising from this agreement, excluding any other, however privileged they may be.

TRAVELING WITH CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS

CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS: According to Law 8.069 / 90, article 83, of the Brazilian Civil Law, children and/or adolescents under 16 years of age must be accompanied by their parents or legal representative expressly authorized to travel. 

The presentation of documents of minors under 16 years (original or certified copy) is obligatory. Acceptable documents are identity card, passport, birth certificate or other identification document with photograph and with public faith throughout the Brazilian territory. 

The boarding of children and adolescents without legal documentation will not be allowed. Only original documents or notarized copies will be accepted.

1. tour de boteco.

Como o próprio nome já diz, esse passeio é garantia de muita comilança. O Tour de Boteco passa por 4 bares de Curitiba, provando os melhores petiscos de cada um deles.

Os passeios rolam duas vezes por semana, às quintas (19h) e sábados (17h), e são feitos a pé, já que os bares escolhidos ficam próximos. Ah, e tem opções para vegetarianos, basta informar com antecedência.

2. KuritiBike

Criado em 2010, o KuritiBike é um passeio em Curitiba para quem gosta de explorar a cidade pedalando.

São vários roteiros diferentes, que passam por pontos importantes, tanto pelas ciclovias, quanto pelas ruas de Curitiba.

O tour é guiado e todas as instruções são passadas antes de sair da sede. Os guias orientam quanto às conversões (para direita ou esquerda) e como atravessar as ruas, já que é preciso ir na frente pedindo preferência aos carros.

Entre os roteiros estão o Coffee Bike Tour, que passa por casas famosas por seus cafés especiais; o Arte Bike Tour, com observação da arte urbana; e o Bike Tour Ópera e MON , que foi o que a gente fez.

Conhecer a cidade de bicicleta foi uma experiência interessante para mim. Foi ótimo saber como a cidade se relaciona com quem escolheu esse tipo de transporte como estilo de vida e ver mais de pertinho as atrações que não conhecia em Curitiba.

Um passeio em Curitiba totalmente açucarado. Assim como no Comida de Boteco, o tour é todo feito a pé e visita cerca de 5 confeitarias da cidade, cada uma com sua especialidade. Em cada casa, o viajante é apresentado a doces diferentes e convidado a degustá-los.

4. Walking Tour no Largo da Ordem

Oferecido pelo Instituto Municipal do Turismo , o passeio em Curitiba conta um pouco sobre a história da cidade e sobre os imigrantes que lá chegaram. Os guias contam, com riqueza de detalhes, as influencias dos alemães, poloneses, ucranianos e espanhóis na construção e formação da cidade.

O tour ainda é uma ótima forma de conhecer outras pessoas e pegar dicas de lugares para visitar com mais calma.

Os tours saem do Centro Histórico às segundas-feiras (quando grande parte das atrações da cidade estão fechadas), às 9h, e às sextas-feiras, às 14h.

5. City Tour da Linha Turismo

Uma linha de ônibus especial que corta a cidade, passando por cerca de 30 pontos turísticos de Curitiba.

Os ônibus saem da Praça Tiradentes a partir das 9h, mas é possível pegá-los em qualquer um dos pontos visitados.

A linha circula a cada meia hora e cada cartela de tíquetes vale para 1 embarque e 4 reembarques. Ou seja, você pode parar nas atrações que quiser visitar com calma e reembarcar no próximo ônibus.

Importante: a linha não opera às segundas-feiras, com exceção dos períodos de férias escolares e feriados nacionais.

• Como participar:  você pode adquirir a cartela de tíquete direto nos ônibus em qualquer ponto de embarque, ou na URBS localizada na Rodoferroviária.

6. Passeio de Trem Curitiba x Morretes

O passeio de trem para Morretes é um dos imperdíveis em Curitiba. Não é a toa que ele é considerado um dos mais bonitos do Brasil.

Esse tour a partir de Curitiba descortina paisagens surreais da Serra do Mar, e vai até Morretes, a 70km da capital do Paraná. A viagem dura cerca de 4 horas, mas contando o tempo para visitar a cidadezinha, o tour dura o dia inteiro.

É possível contratar aqui o tour completo , com ida de trem e retorno de van, com guia de turismo, almoço incluído, transfer de ida e volta do hotel ao ponto de embarque no Easy Travel Shop, em até 10x.

Perto de Curitiba estão algumas colônias que são roteiros de turismo rural, e em uma delas está a vinícola Araucária.

Antes de eu compartilhar o que eu fiz em Curitiba , acho importante comentar c omo chegar e como se locomover em Curitiba?

Primeiro, a capital do Paraná é bem acessível, tendo várias opções de acesso, dependendo da sua localização.

Sendo assim, para quem está nos estados de São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro e Brasília – que possuem os principais aeroportos do Brasil –, a forma mais eficiente de chegar em Curitiba é de avião, onde as viagens duram em média de 40 a 50 minutos.

As passagens estão com preços cada vez melhores, o que facilita o trajeto entre cidades distantes. Nesse caso indico que compare os voos disponíveis pela Skyscanner !

Claro que ainda é possível realizar uma viagem mais longa de ônibus ou de carro, tudo depende do valor, da disposição e do seu tempo disponível para realizá-la.

E, para se locomover dentro da cidade, indico:

• Carro próprio ou alugado – que vai proporcionar mais independência na viagem;
• Transfer ou ônibus – para ter maior comodidade;
• Transporte por aplicativo – para que quer agilidade e não se importa tanto em gastar com locomoção.

Qual a melhor época para visitar Curitiba?

Para entrar na onda curitibana e se adaptar da melhor forma, é preciso estar atento a previsão do tempo, não é mesmo?

Afinal, a cidade é conhecida por ter mais dias de chuva do que Londres e, de quebra, ser uma das mais geladas capitais brasileiras. Ruim? Os moradores não acham e nem os turistas!

Mas então, qual é a melhor época para visitar Curitiba?

Eu acredito que entre abril e setembro são os melhores meses, isso porque, não está tão quente, não chove tanto e nesse período, os dias começam com um lindíssimo céu azul e terminam com um pôr do sol alaranjado, que é magnífico de acompanhar.

Já em janeiro e fevereiro , é a época de alta temporada e faz muito calor na região, o que de fato pode ser o ideal, para quem gosta de muito agito. Mas, com pancadas de chuvas que não atrapalham a viagem.

E apesar de outubro a março serem os períodos mais chuvosos em Curitiba, isso não é um empecilho para aproveitar a capital. Principalmente, se você gosta do frio.

Por fim, temos os meses de junho , julho e agosto , são os meses mais frios e secos e por isso, há poucos turistas e visitas na região.

Quanto tempo é necessário para conhecer Curitiba?

Para você aproveitar muito bem a cidade e curtir todas as atrações e opções de lazer – pelo menos as principais – sem pressa e correria, é recomendado disponibilizar de 3 a 4 dias para fazer a sua viagem .

Porém, ainda é preciso considerar o tempo de duração de cada passeio, bem como o tempo de locomoção.

Dessa forma, se você pretende conhecer cidades vizinhas, planeja alguns dias de viagem a mais, para não fazer nada na correria, ok?

9- Parque Tingui

11- Rua das Flores e Rua 24 horas

Localizada no centro de Curitiba, a Rua das Flores foi a primeira grande avenida no Brasil a ser destina apenas para pedestres e oficialmente, carrega o nome de Rua XV de Novembro.

O lugar é bem movimentado, com jeito de cidade grande e por isso, é super recomendado para quem quer bater perna, fazer compras e também, conhecer alguns restaurantes.

🗣️ Language: In Brazil, people speak Portuguese as their primary language. However, English is often used in places where tourists visit, like hotels and tourist spots.

🕰️ Time Zone: Brasilia Standard Time (GMT-3). One hour ahead of EST and 4 hours ahead of PST. 

💵 Cost: Reasonable if you are arriving with stronger currencies like the US dollar, Euro, or Yen.

🛜 Internet: The city is fully covered with 5G internet. The internet speed isn’t super quick, but it’s not bad. It’s somewhere in the middle.

🏨 Best neighborhoods for tourists:  Santa Felicidade (Known for its restaurants, bars, and stores), Centro Histórico (Historic city center with monuments, churches, and street fairs), Batel (Noble neighborhood of the city, with accommodation options, restaurants, bars and commerce in general) Mercês (Historic residential neighborhood), Some other neighborhoods with fewer leisure options but worth a visit are Jardim Botânico and the Água Verde neighborhood

Curitiba is located in Brazil’s southern region, the capital of the State of Paraná. It is the most populous city in the southern region and is well known for its well-organized urban structure with direct contact with nature.

For this reason, the city has become known as the most ecological city in Brazil, also earning nicknames such as Cidade Sorriso (Smile City), Cidade Modelo (Model City), and Capital of Araucárias (type of tree symbol of the city).

What State is Curitiba In? 

Curitiba is located in the southern region of Brazil, in the state of Paraná. Its state borders the states of São Paulo, Santa Catarina, and Mato Grosso do Sul, as well as Argentina and Paraguay. 

Paraná is a state known for being a major grain producer, having the fifth largest economy in Brazil, and being one of Brazil’s most complete tourist destinations with rivers, mountains, parks, waterfalls, and coastline. Paraná is also home to the famous city of Foz do Iguaçu, where we find the equally famous Iguaçu Falls. 

An interesting fact is that the state was once the largest coffee producer in the world.

The southern region of Brazil is the coldest in the country, with occasional snowfall in some cities during the winter. In other seasons of the year, temperatures in the region tend to be high, with a lot of humidity, as we’ll see later in this Curitiba travel guide.

The closest airport in Curitiba is Afonso Pena International Airport (Code: CWB). The airport is about 30 minutes from downtown Curitiba, so it is easy to get there. When flying in, you usually have a connection in either Sao Paulo or Rio De Janeiro.  

What is the Best Way to Get to Your Curitiba Hotel?

In this Curitiba travel guide, you’ll find some tips to get to your hotel quickly and safely. After arriving at Curitiba’s Afonso Pena International Airport (CWB), you have a few choices to reach your hotel.

The most straightforward and convenient approach to kick off your trip smoothly is to arrange a personal shuttle to your hotel. This way, you won’t need to worry about it when you land. 

Pro Tip: If you plan on using Uber, ensure you have a Brazil SIM card for your phone to work correctly. As a local Brazilian resident, I can guarantee that relying on free public WIFI for ride-share apps might not be ideal. 

You can opt for a taxi, but always verify that the meter is running to avoid scams. It’s a step you must take in every foreign country, and it’s not different here. 

Renting a car in Curitiba is also a good choice. Car rentals are available at the airport, making pickup easy. This is a good option if you plan on driving extensively around the city and nearby areas. For family trips, this works well too. However, if your plan involves spending the day drinking, private shuttles, and Ubers are a wiser choice.

How to Get Around Curitiba?

Ride Sharing (top choice): Ride-sharing services like Uber are popular in Curitiba. They are cheap and convenient. They’re perfect for navigating the city with the least amount of hassle. 

Rent a Car (top choice): Hiring a car offers ultimate freedom for your Curitiba adventure. This way, you can explore the city’s main attractions, such as parks, woods, museums, bars, restaurants, and art galleries. A rental car offers much more trip flexibility. Remember to bring your valid driver’s license and be prepared for right-side driving.

Take a Taxi:  In Curitiba, they are abundant and provide a hassle-free way to get around, though they may cost more. Always make sure the meter is on to prevent getting overcharged.

Get on a Bike: Curitiba has become a reference in urban mobility in Brazil, with several bike lanes to make it easier to get around the city on a bike. If you are interested, the website of the Municipal Institute of Tourism of the city offers a free guide with tours to be done passing through important points of the city. Using a bike can be a great way to get to know the city’s beauties. However, unlike other cities in Brazil, Curitiba does not offer many bike rental options. Still, finding a place in the city center to rent a bike for a few hours to ride around the city and have fun is not difficult.

Tour by bus of the Tourism Line: Another option to get to know Curitiba is using one of the double-decker buses of the Linha Turismo (Tourism Line). This bus makes a tour of the city, passing by the main tourist attractions, among them parks, food districts, museums, historical architecture, theaters, viewpoints, and more.

You can purchase a bus boarding pass for unlimited boarding for 24 hours. With this, the visitor can disembark and enjoy the place of his choice, reboarding the next bus, available every 30 minutes. This card is purchased on the bus itself.

Public transportation (last choice): Curitiba has a good public transportation system, and it is less expensive, but unless you have to, this may not be the best choice for you.

When to Go to Curitiba?

In this Curitiba travel guide, we’ll help you decide when to go to Curitiba. Choosing the right time to visit Curitiba depends on your trip’s purpose. Keep in mind the seasons are different from those in the US and Europe, so be careful not to get confused when planning your visit.

As a Brazilian native of the southern region who visits the city frequently, I can say that predicting the weather is difficult for anyone visiting Curitiba. We say around here that it is possible to see all four seasons in one day in Curitiba. It is not difficult to see a beautiful sunny day with blue skies quickly turn into a stormy day. Not to mention the constant temperature change of hot and cold.

Curitiba Brazil Summer (December to March): If you want sun and festivals, this is your time to go. January and February are the hottest months in Curitiba. This is the best season for nightlife.

Summer Carnival: Carnival is one of the most popular festivals in the world. It falls in the Brazilian summer, usually in late February or early March. Curitiba can be an excellent option if you want to experience the craziness of it but not be in a big city like Rio. The town has parades of samba schools on the street and several other options for the most varied tastes, including rock festivals, geek festivals, and food spots.

Curitiba Brazil Fall (April and May): If you want a slower pace, autumn/fall offers nice weather and is less crowded. April is one of the best months to visit Curitiba.

Curitiba Brazil Winter (June to August): June and July are the coldest months of the year in Curitiba. 5-  Parque Tanguá

Não se limite, porém, a ficar na parte superior do parque. Isso porque, é na sua parte inferior que você realmente poderá fazer uma caminhada em meio à natureza.

Inaugurado em 1996, o parque está localizado em uma área de 235 mil metros quadrados e é formado por duas pedreiras desativadas, que foram transformadas em lagos interligados por uma cascata de 45 metros de altura.

Além disso, o parque conta com trilhas para caminhadas, ciclovias, jardins, mirantes e espaços para piquenique.

Uma das atrações mais bacanas do Parque Tanguá é o mirante que oferece uma vista privilegiada do parque e da cidade de Curitiba. A torre tem 65 metros de altura e possui um elevador panorâmico que leva os visitantes até o topo. Lá de cima, é possível avistar o Parque Tingui, o Rio Barigui e a cidade de Curitiba.

Outra atração interessante é o Jardim Poty Lazzarotto , que é uma homenagem ao artista curitibano Poty Lazzarotto. O jardim é composto por esculturas, painéis e mosaicos que representam a cultura e a natureza da região.

Seja para comprar frutas, verduras, carnes, artigos domésticos, cervejas importadas ou simplesmente fazer uma bela refeição, o Mercado é o lugar certo.

Por falar em comes e bebes, minha paixão por lá foi o pastel da Pastelaria Curitiba , que serve desde os sabores tradicionais a outros mais inusitados, como, por exemplo, o de pinhão com carne seca.

Além disso, o Mercado Municipal de Curitiba ainda promove eventos e festivais temáticos , como o Cacharitiba (Festival da Cachaça), Halloween do Mercado e o Natal do Mercado. Portanto, fique de olho na programação pra verificar se estará rolando alguma festividade durante seus dias por lá.

7-  Passeio a Morretes

Um programa clássico para fazer em Curitiba é o passeio de trem até Morretes :  uma simpática cidadezinha histórica onde você poderá provar um legítimo Barreado – prato típico do litoral paranaense cujo preparo é uma verdadeira arte.

Para chegar lá o jeito mais tradicional é de trem e ônibus. Ou, melhor dizendo, indo de trem e voltando de ônibus.

Isso porque, a viagem de trem costuma levar ao menos quatro horas, e fazer ida e volta sobre os trilhos deixa o passeio cansativo e pouco proveitoso.

10- Roteiro gastronômico em Santa Felicidade

A região de Santa Felicidade é uma espécie de distrito que contempla mais de dez bairros curitibanos. E, um destes bairros atende pelo mesmo nome de Santa Felicidade. Nomenclaturas à parte, o mais importante é você saber o que te espera por estas bandas da cidade: excelente gastronomia italiana .

Reduto dos imigrantes que vieram da Itália, Santa Felicidade é uma simpática vizinhança para deixar o se estômago contente. Portanto, o melhor plano é visitar a região próximo da hora do almoço ou ir até lá para jantar.

Mesmo que você esteja hospedado pela região central o deslocamento vale a pena. Afinal, são apenas sete quilômetros entre um bairro e outro.

O endereço mais famoso é o Restaurante Madalosso , que é um dos maiores restaurantes do mundo e que funciona no sistema de rodízios. 

Por outro lado, se você estiver em busca de um local mais intimista, o Velho Madalosso é um local mais acertado.

Além disso, outros restaurantes italianos que fazem sucesso na região, são: Cascatinha, Dom Antonio, Famiglia Fadanelli e Restaurante Veneza.

11-  Café do Viajante

Certos lugares são capazes de deixar qualquer viagem mais agradável e aconchegante. E, em Curitiba, um deles é o Café do Viajante.

Localizado pelas bandas do Centro Cívico , o café fundado pelos sócios Robson Franzoi e Diogo Fernandes é um daqueles cantinhos pra passar horas e horas se encantando com a decoração do lugar e se esbaldando com as delícias do cardápio, como por exemplo, o Cappuccino do Viajante e os mini pães-de-queijo recheados.

Acredite: conhecer o Café do Viajante definitivamente é uma das coisas que você não pode deixar de fazer em Curitiba.

12-  Museu Oscar Niemeyer

Dentre as dezenas de museus de Curitiba , nenhum ocupa um espaço tão grande no roteiro dos turistas como o Museu do Olho – como é popularmente conhecido o Museu Oscar Niemeyer (MON).

Com localização central e fácil acesso, mais do que as sinuosas curvas características do arquiteto, o MON abriga um acervo e exposições invejáveis. Inclusive, para conferir as exposições em cartaz basta acessar o site oficial do museu .

O Museu Oscar Niemeyer é composto por duas construções: a principal, em forma de olho, e uma anexa, em forma de feijão.

A construção em forma de olho é um exemplo da arquitetura moderna brasileira, com uma estrutura em concreto armado e um grande vão livre. A construção em forma de feijão abriga exposições temporárias e é ligada à construção principal por meio de um túnel subterrâneo.

O museu possui um acervo com mais de 7 mil obras de arte contemporânea brasileira e internacional , além de uma coleção de arte asiática. Entre as obras que se destacam estão peças de artistas como Tarsila do Amaral, Candido Portinari, Di Cavalcanti, e Andy Warhol.

Além disso, o Museu Oscar Niemeyer é também um espaço cultural, que abriga uma programação variada de eventos, cursos e workshops. O museu conta ainda com um cinema, uma biblioteca, um café e uma loja de souvenirs.

13- Caminho do Vinho de São José dos Pinhais

Localizada na região metropolitana de Curitiba, apenas 30 quilômetros da capital, a cidade de São José dos Pinhais rende um ótimo passeio bate volta – especialmente para os apreciadores de vinhos e de produtos artesanais de tradições italianas.

Apesar de básico e sem tantas firulas, este tour a São José dos Pinhais apresenta aos viajantes a principal atração do destino: o Caminho do Vinho. De nome autoexplicativo, neste circuito há diversas vinícolas abertas à visitação do público em geral.

Além disso, o passeio também realiza paradas em empórios, queijarias, charcuterias e em outros estabelecimentos que vendem produtos artesanais. Ou seja, é uma excelente programação para os forasteiros que prezam em deixar o estômago contente durante as férias.

14-  Vinícola Franco Italiano

Se você está de dieta já deve ter percebido que deverá fazer uma pausa para aproveitar o que há de melhor durante uma viagem a Curitiba , combinado?!

Ainda na área gastronômica, este é outro passeio que inclui comilança na capital paranaense. Ou melhor, em Colombo – um município situado na região metropolitana de Curitiba, aproximadamente a 20 quilômetros dos bairros centrais.

Além de poder degustar diversos rótulos da conceituada vinícola familiar Franco Italiano , o local ainda possui um restaurante que serve deliciosos almoços no estilo buffet aos finais de semana.

15-  Ópera de Arame

Muito mais do que um teatro, o Ópera de Arame é um dos símbolos mais inconfundíveis da arquitetura curitibana. Com uma estrutura de fazer inveja a muitos cenários de filmes hollywoodianos, o visual fica ainda mais cativante por conta da vegetação que rodeia o local.

Como se não bastasse a construção por si só já valer a visita, desde setembro de 2018 o Ópera de Arame deu inicio ao Vale da Música , um projeto que visa cultivar a diversidade musical. Em dias de apresentação – geralmente aos finais de semana – três grupos diferentes se apresentam no palco flutuante.

Para completar o passeio, o Ópera Arte – restaurante que há no local – oferece um ambiente requintado para o almoço. O cardápio diversificado é de dar água na boca e os preços são bastante realistas.

16-  Memorial Ucraniano

Localizado no Parque Tingui , o Memorial Ucraniano é uma das várias homenagens que a prefeitura da cidade fez aos imigrantes que ali chegaram.

E, apesar de estar um pouco afastado das principais dicas do que fazer em Curitiba , pode apostar que vale a pena incluí-lo na sua programação.

Contrastando com a sua paisagem que parece ter saído de um conto de fadas, o Memorial Ucraniano nos conta a história de uma das maiores violências causadas e sofridas pelo homem: o Holomodor, genocídio que exterminou pela fome aproximadamente 10 milhões de ucranianos entre os anos de 1932 e 1933.

O memorial está instalado em uma construção que é réplica de uma igreja ucraniana de madeira, que foi trazida da Ucrânia e montada no local. No caso, trata-se da Igreja de São Miguel Arcanjo, da cidade de Maramorosh.

Além da função de museu e ponto turístico de Curitiba , o memorial também é de grande importância para a comunidade ucraniana, que realiza diversas celebrações e eventos no local ao longo do ano.

Logo que decidi viajar à capital paranaense umas das poucas certezas que tinha era que visitaria muitos  parques em Curitiba . Afinal, as áreas verdes da cidade não poderiam ser tão famosas sem motivo.

Frequentados por moradores e turistas, Curitiba oferece espaços ao ar livre para todos os gostos.

Se acaso quiser apenas caminhar, têm parques adequados pra isso.

Assim como parques, outro tipo de atração que não falta em Curitiba são museus. Apesar do icônico Museu Oscar Niemayer ser o grande destaque, é possível se impressionar com lugares mais discretos, porém, igualmente interessantes.

19- Centro Histórico e Centro Cívico

Apesar de muitas dicas mencionadas até agora sobre o que fazer em Curitiba já estarem pela região central da cidade, há outras atrações que você pode incluir no seu roteiro – tanto pelo centro histórico como também pelo centro cívico.

Sim, Curitiba tem duas vizinhanças centrais. E, embora elas sejam relativamente próximas uma da outra, cada uma tem a sua própria personalidade.

O Largo da Ordem , por exemplo, além de construções históricas e alguns murais de arte de rua, dispõem de ótimos barzinhos para o final do dia.

Outros dois prédios que chamam atenção é o Palácio Iguaçu , com um mural colorido bem ao lado, e a sede da Prefeitura de Curitiba.

O Centro Cultural Teatro Guaíra é outro local que não passa despercebido quando se caminha por perto da Praça Santos Andrade.

Outro lugares a considerar durante suas andanças por estes lados, são:

• Biblioteca Pública do Paraná
• Rua 24 Horas (uma espécie de galeria)
• Praça Tiradentes e Marco Zero de Curitiba

20-  Rua XV Novembro

O calçadão para pedestres no centro de Curitiba, conhecido como Rua XV ou Rua das Flores , não é exatamente uma atração turística. Até porque, na verdade o que você encontrará por lá é o movimento rotineiro de uma rua comercial: lojas de todos os segmentos, lanchonetes, restaurantes e artistas de rua disputando a atenção de quem passa.

Porém, é inegável que o que mais se destaca são os jardins e as flores coloridas da calçada.

Ainda assim, numa passada rápida por estas bandas dá pra apreciar parte da arquitetura histórica da região, como o imponente prédio da Universidade do Paraná .

21-  Feirinha do Largo da Ordem

Toda capital que se preze tem ao menos uma feirinha dominical onde você pode encontrar artesanato, comes e bebes, e outras coisas que você não precisa mas não resiste quando vê!

E em Curitiba não é diferente.

Todos os domingos, turistas e moradores lotam as ruas dos arredores do Largo da Ordem para conferir as novidades – ou badulaques nem tão novos assim – na tradicional Feira do Largo da Ordem .

Além dos produtos à venda, a feira também é um espaço de arte e cultura, com apresentações de música, teatro, dança e outras manifestações artísticas. Além disso, também há outros pontos turísticos na mesma vizinhança, portanto, otimize a programação para visitar tudo no mesmo dia.

22- Estádio de futebol Arena da Baixada

A Arena da Baixada é o estádio do time de futebol Athletico Paranaense . E, assim como em outros clubes, sua casa é aberta a visitação para o público em geral.

O estádio passou por uma grande reforma para a Copa do Mundo de 2014, sendo modernizado e ampliado para receber jogos do mundial. Com capacidade para cerca de 43 mil espectadores, a Arena da Baixada é considerada uma das arenas mais modernas do país, contando com tecnologia de ponta e infraestrutura de qualidade.

Além disso, a sua arquitetura é uma atração à parte. O estádio é conhecido por seu design moderno e inovador, com uma cobertura em formato de pétalas que se movimentam e permitem a entrada de luz natural.

Como se não bastasse, o estádio conta com uma série de áreas de lazer e entretenimento, como lojas, restaurantes e espaços VIPs.

No geral, a visita guiada pelo estádio é rápida, organizada e entrega o que promete. Para os amantes do futebol, é certamente um dos passeios para fazer em Curitiba que não podem ficar de fora do roteiro.

23- Comer Carne de Onça

Admito que não fiz 100% o dever de casa e cheguei em Curitiba sem saber quais são os pratos típicos da cidade.

No entanto, bastou meia dúzia de palavras trocadas com os curitibanos para eles me falarem que uma das coisas que eu não deveria deixar de fazer por lá era provar a Carne de Onça. Afinal, a iguaria é Patrimônio Cultural da Cidade.

Mas não se preocupe, pois nenhuma onça precisa morrer para você experimentar um dos petiscos mais pedidos de lá. A tal Carne de Onça nada mais é que carne moída crua (de primeira, sem nervos e gorduras) temperada com sal, pimenta, azeite, cebola, alho e cheiro-verde.

O motivo do nome? É incerto.

Uma das teorias mais aceitas é por causa ao bafo de onça ostentado pelas pessoas após consumi-la. Por via das dúvidas, não custa nada levar um chiclete no bolso.

24- Ilha do Mel

Situado a 118 quilômetros de Curitiba, o Pontal do Sul é o local de embarque para chegar ao principal destino do litoral do Paraná: a Ilha do Mel. Embora o melhor modo de visitar este refúgio praiano seja pernoitando na ilha, saiba que um passeio bate volta saindo da capital é realizável.

Na minha opinião, para os turistas que não fazem questão de uma estada cheia de mordomia, vale a pena reservar três dias da viagem para se hospedar na Ilha do Mel. Por outro lado, é incontestável: os viajantes que preferem as comodidades urbanas ficarão mais contentes com um passeio de um dia.

Se você se encaixa neste último caso, no site da Civitatis há uma excursão que atenderá as suas necessidades. Não é um passeio baratinho, é verdade, porém, entrega os principais pontos turísticos da Ilha do Mel em um tour de 12 horas.

Saiba, porém, que além de deslocamento terrestre a aventura envolve travessia de barco e caminhada. Afinal, não há circulação de veículos na ilha.

25- Foz do Iguaçu

Na realidade, esta dica do que fazer em Curitiba é um esclarecimento aos viajantes que gostariam de visitar as Cataratas do Iguaçu em uma mesma viagem à capital do estado: só faça isso se você tiver mais de uma semana disponível.

Foz do Iguaçu , a cidade das cataratas, está localizada a 650 quilômetros de Curitiba, sendo que uma viagem de ônibus entre os dois destinos leva pelo menos 10 horas na estrada. Ou seja, tanto pela distância como também pelo número de atrações em cada lugar, são locais que merecem roteiros independentes.

Ainda assim, se acaso você tem dias suficientes para os dois itinerários, a minha sugestão é começar o roteiro na capital e fazer o deslocamento até Foz do Iguaçu de avião. Comprando a passagem antecipadamente, é possível que o preço do bilhete aéreo custe um valor muito próximo da passagem de ônibus.

Por fim, para visitar os principais pontos turísticos de Foz do Iguaçu e conhecer os dois lados das cataratas – o brasileiro e o argentino – recomendo passar quatro dias inteiros na cidade.

O que fazer em Curitiba à noite ?

Independente do bairro em que você esteja, é muito provável que há muito o que fazer à noite em Curitiba. Em todo caso, ao menos para os visitantes, as duas regiões mais atraentes para a vida noturna são as vizinhanças de Batel e Centro Cívico .

Isso porque, nestes dois bairros você encontrará mil e uma possibilidades para a sua noite em Curitiba : de bares requintados a botecos com mesa na calçada, há de tudo.

Indicarei a seguir alguns dos lugares que conheci durante a minha viagem, mas saiba que há muitos outros bares em Curitiba que podem fazer parte da sua programação noturna.

Localizado no bairro Batel, o clássico Hard Rock Café Curitiba é uma parada que atrai boa parte dos viajantes.

No mesmo bairro, no pomposo Shopping Batel, o GARDS Rooftop faz a vez pra quem está em busca de um ambiente mais requintado e intimista.

A pegada alternativa pela mesma região fica por conta do Shopping Hauer , onde dezenas de bares lado a lado reúnem milhares de pessoas na calçada.

Já pelos lados do Centro Cívico recomendo todos os bares que conheci durante o Tour de Boteco : Mercearia Fantinato, Amsterdam Lounge Bar, Cervejaria da Vila e Mr Hoppy Beer & Burger.

Por fim, saiba que pelos arredores do Largo da Ordem também há uma infinidade de barzinhos para curtir uma hora feliz ou até mesmo entrar noite adentro.

O que fazer em Curitiba com chuva ?

As dicas que eu poderia recomendar sobre o que fazer em Curitiba com chuva já foram indicadas ao longo do texto. Afinal, quando os aguaceiros começam não precisamos de grandes invenções: o melhor plano é aproveitar para conhecer os locais de ambiente fechado.

E, em Curitiba , há diversos lugares que podem salvar a sua programação.

No caso, todos os museus, centros culturais, mercado, cafeterias, bares e restaurantes que indiquei, tornam-se ainda mais imperdíveis quando o tempo não colaborar com o itinerário ao ar livre.

Por fim, saiba que o clima em Curitiba é mais úmido durante a primavera e o verão. Portanto, são nos meses de outubro a março que você precisará ter mais atenção no seu roteiro e ter algumas cartas na manga para os momentos em que começar a cair água do céu.

O que fazer em Curitiba em 5 dias ?

O tempo mínimo que eu recomendo para aproveitar os passeios em Curitiba são três dias inteiros. Ou seja, contando os dias de ida e volta, são cinco dias no total.

“Só tenho um final de semana ou um feriadão , será que consigo aproveitar?”.

Claro que sim. No entanto, você precisará fazer uma curadoria mais rigorosa sobre quis pontos turísticos irá incluir no seu roteiro em Curitiba . Afinal, não será possível visitar  todos os atrativos da cidade.

No mais, sinta-se à vontade para fazer as alterações que achar necessária na minha sugestão do que fazer em Curitiba em 5 dias . Afinal, nem todo lugar agrada todo perfil de viajante.

Além disso, deixarei o dia de chegada e partida livre, para que você mesmo monte essa parte da programação. Isso porque, o itinerário destes dias de deslocamento dependerá do seu horário de chegada e partida.
