I have checked with the Airline Company regarding reschedule and I was told the earliest flight is on 1 March which I can't as I have a medical appointment on 13 Feb. Also, I was told to contact the ticket agency for refund.

Can anyone please let me know the best way to contact Travel2be???I just need my money back as the Airline has guarantee all customs with full refund...

You have tried out pretty much all options. They may react on your posts with some delay.

"I have a medical appointment on 13 Feb. " You do not write where you want to go. Depending location you might better change your appointment.

You can try to dispute the credit card charge. With that you might get the money back in the fastest way, but there is no guarantee that the dispute will be successful.

Unfortunately for you, when you choose to add a middleman into the transaction, you add complexity (and costs) to what would have been a simple transaction had you booked direct with the airline

Assuming this is a non-refundable ticket and the flight is still operating, if the airline is not issuing refunds then your agent will have nothing to pass on to you

Refund not possible due to malfunction with website

Hello The airline I had booked flights with through your agency cancelled my outbound flight. I was forced to book another flight, and I need to contact Travel2Be in order to get my previous flight refunded (according to Icelandair). Unfortunately, your website does not allow me to do this, as the "Claim" link you send to me when contacting customer.service(@)travelgenio.com has a malfunction (not able to press the "Send" button) so I am asking you to either fix this button issue, or contact me directly through email. Refund request well over a year old now. Give me back my money!!

I cancelled my flight in september 2021, and requested a refund. 'My trips' request never went past 'processing', after waiting months as suggested. I managed to find a customer service email address in August (buried in the internet), who confirmed my request to a refund. The worst agency

I bought a ticket and sent an e-mail to change the date or refund it, and I tried to change it on the website, but the mail I reserved didn't work. I've never seen a travel agency so out of touch. And no details are written on the document. Regarding refund regulations or reservation changes. The worst agency. I never make a reservation here again. I spent wasting my time and money.

It was really daunting to see all the reviews and ratings here for Travel2be, but I still went ahead with my booking - relying on the fewer good and positive ratings. Alhamdolilah, I had absolutely no issue with my journey - flight, luggage or seats. It was similar to as if I’d booked directly with Airlines. The only glitch happened when I went to process payment, the website shows you one amount but as soon as you proceed to payment portal it gives this message that the fares have changed. It didn’t happen once or twice, as before actually booking it I went to it on different instances and different times and at each time it does the same. So, it looked like a trick to make fares attractive and then end up charging more than what was initially shown (although that price was still less than other sites so I went ahead)

Excellent service

I just chose Travel2be without reading the reviews, and it turned out great! It was the cheapest option at the time. Just that, they did asked me for my details again and again through email even after I already filled them up. Either way, it turned out well. My flight with Singapore Airlines was booked properly and nothing was amiss. Both Travel2Be and Singapore Airlines sent me reminders for check-in and boarding passes. I missed my flight on 2nd Jan at Heathrow Airport. The staff immediately booked another flight in the same day without any fee or penalty. Overall, the service was real good. Highly recommended.

Hello The airline has changed the departure time so that I want to cancel my ticket and get a refund. Worst Travel Agency I have been with. Flight got cancelled 7 Weeks ago and even though I provided every information and flight number of the new wanted flight shortly afterwards I never recieved any answer. And now two days to the flight date I still have not recieved an decent alternative flight.

Very poor service

Very poor service, first time I used this company and never again will I be using them again. After cancelling my flight, they informed me they will issue me a refund and after waiting several weeks, they have done nothing but ignore my emails. To this day I still haven’t received my refund.

Over charging

So I entered the offer through the KAYAK website and the price that appeared made me want to buy the flight ticket. After I filled in the details and paid, it turns out that you charged me an additional $350!!! I will consult with all the relevant parties and if necessary I will sue you. After coming across quite a few posts here, and other sites, it turns out I'm not the only one who fell victim. I want to cancel the flight and get a full refund as soon as possible!

Travel to be is a scam

Travel to be is a scam. My booking with them with Thai airways got cancelled and i requested for a refund and they did not process it till now. It was two years already. What a shame They said they are waiting for the airline authorization but to no avail i received nothing. I ask for my refund to be converted to a voucher but the denied it because their bad customer service hotline cannot process it because i primarily request for a refund. But common two years already.

Mitt flyg med Emirates Airlines blev kansellerat i december 2021. I have had no luck having a refund processed by Travel2Be representatives, despite receiving confirmation of my cancellation and refund status in writing from this business. They are very vague when responding to requests for information. Their own policy states refunds will be processed within 72 days of confirmation. The simplest way to create extra email addresses for travel accounts

There's a fun little email trick I use all the time, especially when it comes to signing up for new loyalty accounts , making reservations and other travel-related tasks. Essentially, I use a long-standing Gmail feature to create an instant alias — a vanity email address that funnels messages into one main account.

But as essential as it's become in my own life, I constantly encounter friends, family members and colleagues who seem flabbergasted when I explain it, as someone once did for me nearly a decade ago .

Now that I've sufficiently built this up, it's dead-simple to put into practice — simply add a "+" followed by whatever you like, between your Gmail username and @gmail.com. So [email protected] directs emails to the exact same box as [email protected]. On any site you're registering for an account, though, [email protected] registers as an entirely different address — you aren't flagged as a duplicate and don't have to manage multiple totally separate email accounts.

There are countless occasions that travelers may benefit from an alternate email address, but I'll name a few:

I've also used this trick to create loyalty program accounts for reluctant family members, if I can tell they won't do it on their own. A frequent United flyer taking a rare American flight, for example — [email protected], and voilà, Dad has his own account, and I'm getting his program-related emails.

But wait — there's more! You can easily create filters based on these addresses. zach+john goes into a folder for little John's emails, while emails sent to zach+italy get a special flag during the weeks leading up to my trip. Then, when I get back, I can change the settings to immediately mark those emails as read, or to keep them out of my main feed, so any post-trip promos and follow-ups don't clog up my inbox.

You can also "create" different addresses by adding and removing dots. [email protected], [email protected] and [email protected] may appear unique when you're required to register with an email address, but messages to any of the above all go to the same place — while Gmail essentially ignores the "+" and anything that comes after it, you'll get similar treatment when you add or remove a dot.

Travel Agency Marketing Tip: Setting Up a Professional Email Address

Setting out on the journey of starting your own travel agency is an adventure. You've planned, dreamed, and brainstormed. One of the things you've come up with is the perfect name. One that resonates with the wanderlust you want to inspire in your clients.

Your travel agency name isn't just a name to you. It's a reflection of your passion, your vision, and the unique experiences you'll offer.

But there's a crucial piece of your business identity (and digital marketing strategy) that you may have overlooked in your eagerness to get started. Your email address.

Or maybe I should say, your  professional  email address.

What is the difference between a personal and professional email address?

It all comes down to the format of your email address. Is your email address “[email protected]”? Or is it “[email protected]”.

The first, ending in a “gmail.com,” “yahoo.com,” or any other “.com” that isn't your domain name (aka the “www.yourcompanyname.com” where your website lives) is a personal email address.

An email address that ends in your domain name, on the other hand, is a professional, or business, email address.

While it may seem like a small difference, it's a vital part of a strong travel marketing foundation.

Why your email address matters in your travel agency marketing

1) email security and deliverability to potential customers.

Custom email domains have additional security, such as strong passwords and multi-factor authentication, built in to them. Email service providers know that professional accounts require more security than personal accounts, so they build it in to their platform automatically.

A professional email address also makes it more likely that your customer actually receives your email.

Have you ever tried to send an email to a potential client and been told it ended up in their spam folder? It's highly likely that it's because you sent it from a personal email address.

What started out as the easier, quicker option of setting up a personal email address for your business can make it very difficult to connect with potential clients. And that's a huge problem!

Professional accounts automatically include specific authentication that is required for email deliverability, and that authentication isn't readily available on personal email accounts.

You also can't use many email marketing tools (like ConvertKit , my recommendation for email marketing campaigns) with a personal email address because they violate international spam laws. So if you want to use email as part of your content marketing strategy, you need a professional email address.

Flodesk, which is farily popular in the travel industry, will allow  a personal email address. However they don't recommend  using one because email from your travel business will most likely end up in peoples spam folders.

2) Brand awareness and consistency

In an oversaturated market full of travel agents, your brand needs to be consistent. Your email address should be an extension of your business name, not simply include your business name.

Using a personal email for your travel agency might seem inconsequential, but it sends mixed signals about your brand's professionalism. It can dilute the impact of your marketing efforts, making it harder for clients to see you as a trusted advisor and partner for their travel plans.

So if a potential client can find your travel company website at yourtravelagencyname.com, they should be able to email you there as well.

Think of who your target market or target audience is. Are they people who are used to dealing with professionals like attorneys and financial planners? I guarantee you that those professionals are using a professional email address, and that potential customer expects the same level of professionalism from their travel agency.

That professionalism helps assure clients that they're dealing with a travel advisor they can trust with one of their most valuable assets, their leisure time.

3) The suppliers perspective

In the travel industry, your relationship with your suppliers and vendors is your lifeline. It's not just potential clients who can see a personal email address as a red flag. Your suppliers can too.

A personal email address can unintentionally signal to them that your agency isn't a serious business partner. When you use a personal email address, they're more likely to see you as a hobbyist instead of a professional travel agent.

How to set up your professional email address.

I recommend using Google for your professional email address. If you already have a free gmail account you'll find it intuitive and simple to use.

To get started, head to Google Workspace  to set up your account. It's a minimal investment, starting at just $6 per month for a basic account with plenty of storage.

Once you choose your plan, enter some basic information like your business name, the number of employees, and where you're located. You'll need to provide some basic info, like your name and your current email address, and then Google will walk you through the rest of the setup process.

I recommend making your email address simple, just [email protected]. Most suppliers don't like email addresses with things like info@ or contact@, so make sure the main address has your name in it so they know who they're emailing with.

If you'd like to have an email address for new enquiries, you can set up an email alias in addition to your regular email address.

An email alias delivers messages to your inbox, but the address used is different than your main email address. So you can set up [email protected] as an alias if you want to use it for new potential customers to submit enquiries.

Migrating from a personal email to a professional email

Once your professional email address is set up, it's time to start using it. Start by setting up a rule in the personal account you've been using to automatically forward messages to your new, professional account.

When you reply to clients, send everything from your professional account. Make sure you update your email address with suppliers, as well as on your social media accounts, website, and business cards.

The bottom line

Setting up a professional email address for your travel agency is a strategic marketing move. It's about aligning every aspect of your business, from social media marketing to web design, with the professionalism and quality your customers expect from your travel brand.

With these simple steps, you can elevate your travel agency's image, ensuring your first impression is as compelling as the destinations you represent.

Travel2be have witheld cash reimbursed…

Travel2be have witheld cash reimbursed to them from Egypt air for a flight that was cancelled due to Covid in December in 2021. I have confirmed with egypt airlines that travel2be has been reimbursed, and I have contacted travel2be to get personally reimbursed. they requested banking details for payment; but never paid and never answer emails. Travel2Be - BIGGEST SCAM

We booked ticket for our London trip through Travel2Be but could not cancel ticket/reschedule flight. This fraudulent company did not cancel/reschedule our ticket on time and till now they did not refund our ticket money even after sending more than 100 emails. We lost around EUR 3500/-. LHR - BLR, Involuntary Schedule change, need cancellation/refund, Travel2be website not working

Finally got to speak to Spanish agent…

Finally got to speak to Spanish agent who cancelled my booking but charged me 120 Euro for cancelling even though it was an Involuntary change by the airline . Travel2be are scammers who do not give any oppertunity to contact them ,no email address or local phone number to contach them unless you leave a bad review on Trustpilot. They also said to wait 1 to 3 monthe for refund. This is not acceptable. Travel2be using my funds for upto 3 months. I should charge them interest, I am requestin a full refund..€1650

Do not buy flexible tickets from these guys. We asked to change the date but they wanted $2000 extra double the ticket price (they were supposed to charge the difference only) and also didn't provide the proof of this cost. We then went to their website and found a ticket which was cheaper than our original ticket that also matched their requirements of flights and route yet they didn't change it even after providing multiple screenshots and email. They stopped replying to email. We then went to our bank to reverse the transaction according to visa rules that they didn't fulfill their promises. After a long battle the merchant’s bank finally accepted our claim and we got our money back. Avoid them at any cost

On 3rd of December 2022, I ordered 2 tickets from Tel-Aviv to SharmAl Sheikh from your website. I booked a return trip with Travel2be. The day I was going back to South Africa they cancelled my domestic flight without warning and they didn’t inform me. There's no way to contact customer service

No way to contact customer service regarding my booking. I paid flights with booking number 21664306, received an email saying there's an involuntary flight change (from the airline). Tried to manage my booking through My Trips to no avail. Called the airlines, they said I have to contact the travel agent directly; they can't amend anything since it's a booking through a third party. I also paid seat selections for flights that I booked, and the airlines indicated that I might lose those seats. I have checked with the Airline Company regarding reschedule and I was told the earliest flight is on 1 March which I can't as I have a medical appointment on 13 Feb. Also, I was told to contact the ticket agency for refund.

Hello, I am posting here as I have finally received my tickets refund after 4 months of struggle with the agency.

Here is the phone number : +34 911 390 763. I had to wait but they usually answered the call. I had been trying to get my refund since april contacting them by email and then through this number. I called them again on monday got angry and told them that if I don't have my refund in the week, my lawyer would be the one calling next time and It worke! One hour after the call I received an email of confirmation for the refund and 2 days later I had my refund!

So I recommend you to call this number and try the same! Pretty sure it'll work! :)

Middletown travel agency owner charged with using customer credit cards for personal purchases

Delaware State Police arrested Jane Fencer, 55,  of Townsend, for making fraudulent credit card purchases through her Middletown-based travel agency, Wanderlust Tours and Travel.

On January 26, troopers received a report of multiple unauthorized credit card purchases made through Wanderlust Tours and Travel at 717 South Cox Street in Middletown.

Troopers learned that in December 2023, Fencer allegedly used a former customer’s credit card for over $19,000 worth of unauthorized purchases. During the investigation, Troop 2 Criminal Investigations Detectives learned that former customers of Fencer’s travel agency reported unauthorized purchases made by Fencer on their credit cards. Detectives obtained a warrant for Fencer’s arrest.

Fencer turned herself in at Troop 2 in Bear.

The Delaware State Police Troop 2 Criminal Investigations Unit continues to investigate this incident. Anyone with further information regarding this case or who is aware of similar incidents is asked to contact Detective B. Beck by calling 302-365-8408. Information may also be provided by sending a private Facebook message to the  Delaware State Police  or contacting  Delaware Crime Stoppers  at 1-800-847-3333.

SAN DIEGO (AP) — A pair of giant pandas will soon make the journey from China to the U.S., where they will be cared for at the San Diego Zoo as part of an ongoing conservation partnership between the two nations, officials said Monday.

The San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance said its caretakers recently visited China to meet the giant pandas, Yun Chuan and Xin Bao, ahead of their planned trip to Southern California. An exact date for the handoff hasn’t been set.

Yun Chuan, a mild-mannered male who’s nearly 5 years old, has “deep connections” to California, the wildlife alliance said. His mother, Zhen Zhen, was born at the San Diego Zoo in 2007 to parents Bai Yun and Gao Gao.

Xin Bao is a nearly 4-year-old female described as “a gentle and witty introvert with a sweet round face and big ears.”

“Our conservation partners in China shared photographs and personality traits of Yun Chuan and Xin Bao, but meeting them in person was so special,” said Dr. Megan Owen, the alliance’s vice president of conservation science. “It’s inspiring as people from around the world come together to conserve, protect, and care for these special bears, and we can’t wait to welcome them to San Diego.”

The San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance has a nearly 30-year partnership with leading conservation institutions in China focused on protecting and recovering giant pandas and the bamboo forests they depend on.
