We will be coming from Monteverde and the Arenal area and already have zip lining and hanging bridges reserved to do while in these other areas.
We wanted to have some beach and pool Time for relaxing while in MA ( weather permitting). We will be there in May.
Is that to much time for just chilling out? Should we be looking for something adventurous to see or do while here? If so , suggestions please. We will be heading to Drake Bay after MA.
Please give me your opinions and thanks!

We had 6 nights at the end of our trip in MA and really benefited from have the rest and also our hotel had do much wildlife there was plenty to see and do.
I wouldn’t spend so many days in MA if you are travelling to Osa, where you will likely see wildlife, beaches, but much fewer ppl.
We are leaving for CR in about 2 weeks so I’m not going to move around my lodging plans at this point.
We have transfers set up to get us from one place to another. But, being that we have 4 nights 5 days in both places I would like to have the option of a car if we want while in these places.
@3, “… so I’m not going to move around my lodging plans at this point.“: I thought that in your original post, your “Is that to much time for just chilling out? Should we be looking for something adventurous to see or do while here? If so , suggestions please. ” meant that you were wondering if 5 days in MA on the way to Osa would be too long.
Locally, in MA, there are taxis, Ubers, fairly frequent, inexpensive local buses along the main Rd. between the Park’s end and the town of Quepos , tours that include hotels pick up (some include return transfers, too).
In Arenal/ La Fortuna , there are taxis, some Ubers, local shared shuttles between some attractions ( https://www.easyhop.co/rutas/la-fortuna-en ), which operate during the day, not in the evening, and some attractions that offer to add the price if their own shared transfers to the price of the entrance or tour tickets (e.g., Mistico, SkyAdventure). The last option is added per person, so depending on how many ppl you are travelling with, this might cost more or less than a taxi.
Have a wonderful trip.
