Nos excursions ne sont pas les moins chères, ni les plus chères du marché mais nous nous focalisons sur la qualité, n’hésitant pas à mettre un peu plus pour un cenote, un restaurant, une autoroute à péage,… afin notamment d’éviter les foules au maximum. ATTENTION! En conséquence de la constante dévaluation de l’Euro ces dernières années, nous avons dû prendre la décision de remettre nos prix en Pesos mexicains, sur lequel sont basés nos couts, l’Euro étant trop instable. Même si nous faisons le maximum pour ne pas augmenter nos prix depuis des années et prendre l’inflation le plus possible sur nous, il faut plus d’Euros qu’avant pour un même service, faute à une devise qui vaut de moins en moins. Nous ne sommes pas là que pour les excursions. Nous essayons d’être la personne sur place qui pourra vous conseiller / aider au mieux afin de faire de votre séjour une vraie réussite.

Nous pouvons vous conseiller des bonnes adresses locales suivant nos expériences personnelles. Cela ne veut pas dire que ce sont les meilleures ou les moins bonnes, juste ce qu’on pense être la bonne option. Voici quelques recommandations:

RESTAURANTS

Quand vous venez à l’agence, rappelez-nous de vous donner une petite carte avec nos recommandations restaurants sur Playa del Carmen et leur emplacement sur une carte de la ville.

Il y en a pour tous les goûts, toutes les couleurs et tous les budgets. Il est difficile de vous dire comment est chaque hôtel de la région pour la simple et bonne raison que nous n’y logeons pas car nous habitons sur place. Nous pouvons cependant essayer de vous recommander suivant les avis que certains clients nous auraient donné. Vous pouvez utiliser des sites comme booking, airbnb, expedia,… pour voir ce qui vous convient le mieux suivant votre budget, style de logement (hôtel, ressort, appartement, …), type d’activités dans les installations, ce qui est inclus (nourriture, all inclusive,…) et … emplacement de l’hébergement. Pour ce dernier, n’hésitez pas à nous demander notre avis car certains hébergements peuvent se trouver éloignés (pas seulement en distance mais en facilité de transport) ou dans des zones plus reculées ou moins recommandées. Playa del Carmen est selon nous l’endroit idéal pour visiter la région. Tout se trouve à une distance intéressante pour visiter à la journée la région.

La devise au Mexique est le PESOS. Le dollar, pour sa proximité avec les Etats-Unis et nous trouvant dans une zone touristique est accepté dans pas mal d’endroits mais nous ne le recommandons pas, d’autant plus si vous venez d’Europe. En effet, il est toujours plus avantageux de régler dans la monnaie locale car les prix sont souvent plus chers en dollars et parce que vous devrez changer vos Euros en dollars pour les reconvertir en pesos. (double change). Il vaut donc mieux changer éventuellement quelques dollars ou pesos pour vos premiers frais au Mexique mais le taux change que vous aurez chez vous dans votre banque, à l’aéroport ou mêmes dans certains hôtels sera souvent bien plus bas que la valeur réelle du pesos sur laquelle nous basons nos prix. Le mieux est donc de changer vos Euros ou même retirer au distributeur dans une banque sur place, comme celle qui se trouve juste à coté de notre agence (CIBANCO) où les frais sont beaucoup moins exorbitants que dans d’autres endroits. Cibanco a un des frais les moins cher de la ville.

Le pourboire est une coutume au Mexique. Beaucoup d’entre vous ne savent pas combien donner. Voici un petit guide pour vous en sortir :

Quand on va au restaurant au Mexique, on laisse en général 10 à 20% de l’addition. Quelqu’un qui vous aide avec votre valise ou autre à l’hôtel, 1 ou 2 EUR. Pour une excursion, entre 100 et 200 pesos par personne (environ 5/10 EUR/pers ). Pour nos excursions, nous prenons en compte nous-même les pourboires des capitaines de bateaux et des serveurs. La seule chose qui n’est pas incluse est le pourboire du guide et chauffeur en fin de journée (ils partagent entre eux.). Si vous êtes un couple, 200 pesos sont considérés comme correct. Vous pouvez donner plus (ou moins bien entendu), pensez seulement à la valeur de  l‘argent  ! Un billet de 20 pesos ou des pièces représentent moins d’un euro. Dans ce cas, il est préférable ne rien donner et serrer la main, si non, cela peut être pris comme s’ils avaient mal fait leur travail. Il n’y a  bien  entendu aucune obligation de laisser un pourboire. C’est à votre entière discrétion.

LOCATION DE VOITURE

Nous ne recommandons pas spécialement la location de voiture au Mexique. En effet, ce n’est pas vraiment nécessaire pour vous déplacer dans la région si vous souhaitez faire des choses par vous même. Un colectivo, un bus ou un taxi (les prix sont beaucoup plus bas qu’en France) fera l’affaire la plupart du temps. Pour louer une voiture, il vous faut une carte de CRÉDIT (et non débit), les assurances incluses ne couvrent pas tout, il faut pouvoir se garer (le centre de Playa est payant et souvent saturé), certains endroits comme Sian Ka’an par exemple ne sont pas accessibles (les assurance ne couvrent pas), les gens conduisent d’une autre manière que vous (le permis ne se passe pas ici, il s’achète!, pas de priorité de droite, dépassement par la droite, autoroutes avec feu rouge en plein milieu ou dos-d’ânes (bienvenue au pays des casses vitesse!) et surtout et malheureusement la corruption de la police. Les plaques d’immatriculation sur une voiture de location sont différentes et il est donc facile de repérer les touristes et les arrêter pour des infractions inventées pour vous retirer des sous. Cela ne veut pas dire que ça arrive à tout le monde mais relativement fréquemment. A vous de voir

QUE FAIRE PAR SOI-MÊME?

Il y a plein de choses que vous pouvez faire par vous même comme vous balader sur la cinquième avenue (rue piétonne dans le centre de Playa del Carmen), visiter quelques cenotes comme  par exemple Cenote Azul, Cenote Cristalino, Cenote Eden, qui se trouvent entre Playa del Carmen et Tulum. Ces cenote sont beaux mais ce sont des endroits touristiques que tout le monde connait. Pour les plages, nous pouvons vous recommander la plage de Playacar, ici derrière l’agence, ou un peu plus loin, Xpuha, club de plage (accès 50 pesos soit environ 2 Euros) à environ 30 minutes de Playa en direction de Tulum. Pour les souvenirs vous avez la 5ième avenue mais les prix sont très élevés. Nous recommandons plus de les acheter lorsque vous visiterez les ruines de Chichen Itza ou Tulum & Coba où les artisants eux mêmes vendent leurs produits et beaucoup moins cher. Pour la Tequila, le mieux est le super marché (Walmart, Chedraui, Soriana,…) ou même encore mieux au duty free de l’aéroport au retour, ce qui vous permettra d’éviter de prendre le risque qu’elle se casse ou de dépasser la limite de kg de votre valise, comme vous pourrez la prendre dans l’avion avec vous.

RESPECT DE L'ENVIRONNEMENT

Nous essayons au mieux de limiter l’impact sur le milieu ambiant, notamment en recommandant fortement l’utilisation d’une crème solaire et anti-moustiques BIODÉGRADABLE, afin d’éviter de détruire encore plus les coraux, les animaux, la nature. Pour la visite de sites aquatiques, la crème solaire (même bio) n’est autorisée que le matin dans le transport. Pensez à d’autres moyens de protection pour la journée (t-shirts à manche longue pour nager, chapeaux, casquette, serviettes sur les jambes, …). De même, limiter votre impact en ramassant toujours vos déchets. Nous essayons aussi de limiter la quantité de plastiques utilisés dans nos tours. C’est la raison pour laquelle, nous essayons d’utiliser des thermos pour limiter notre impact sur la contamination

ACHAT D'UNE PROPRIÉTÉ AU MEXIQUE

Nous sommes presque sûr que vous tomberez amoureux du Mexique comme la plupart des gens. Alors on commence à rêver et se demander combien couterait une maison dans le coin pour la retraite ou comme investissement et si c’est pas trop compliquer point de vue papiers. On trouve de tous les prix dans la région et tout dépend de votre budget mais vous pouvez trouver quelque chose de convenable déjà pour 100 à 200 000 euros. Quant aux papiers, les agences immobilières sont spécialisés là dedans et pourront vous aider. Si vous avez besoin de conseils pour en trouver, n’hésitez pas.

Nous aimons visiter des endroits ‘en dehors des chemins battus’ et surtout en évitant au maximum les foules.

Nous n’aimons pas les arrêts ‘techniques’ dans des magasins où le client se sent forcé d’acheter quelque chose et nous n’aimons pas non plus les ‘surprises’ (choses non inclues dans la journée) où on est forcé de sortir le portefeuille toutes les 5 minutes! C’est pourquoi nous essayons de toujours tout inclure dans nos prix (à part le pourboire pour le guide et chauffeur à la fin du tour) pour éviter ces mauvaises surprises.

Évitez les foules!

Les départs de nos excursions sont tôt le matin pour éviter au maximum les foules et ainsi pouvoir visiter ces merveilles dans un cadre beaucoup plus ‘intime’ et totalement différent.

Qualité / service à un prix correct!

Nous vous donnons de la valeur pour votre argent. Pour nous la qualité de la prestation est super importante et ce sont souvent ces petits détails ou attentions qui font toute la différence!

Réservez vos places en avance!

Nous essayons toujours de garder nos excursions en petits groupes. Les places pour nos excursions sont donc limitées.  Nous vous recommandons de réserver les vôtres en avance. C’est plus facile pour nous, point de vue organisation et vous partirez beaucoup plus à l’aise sans devoir vous préoccuper de rien, juste profiter de vacances bien méritées.

Service clientèle!

Notre agence est ouverte 7/7 de 9h à 20h. Il y a toujours quelqu’un présent pour vous accueillir, répondre à vos questions et réserver vos excursions. Vous pouvez nous joindre aussi par téléphone, mail, whatsapp, messenger, chat, … mais le plus simple pour nous, afin de centraliser les informations est le mail.

Dois-je réserver en ligne ou puis-je venir directement à l'agence?

Pour garantir vos places lors de nos excursions, nous vous recommandons fortement de réserver en ligne. Néanmoins, si vous préférez voir à votre arrivée, vous pouvez venir à notre agence et réserver directement avec nous ici sous réserve de places encore disponibles. Nous sommes ouvert tous les jours (jours fériés inclus) de 9h à 20h.

Avez-vous une assurance annulation?

Lorsque vous réservez vos excursions, nous vous proposerons une assurance annulation. Cette assurance vous permettra de déplacer une excursion sur un autre jour en cas d’imprévu (sous réserve de places disponibles) ou bien d’annuler et de recevoir un remboursement partiel voir total en fonction du choix d’assurance. Vous pouvez avoir une assurance à partir de 5€ par personne et elle sera valable pour toutes les excursions que vous réservez avec nous!

Acceptez-vous les Euros?

Nos prix en EUR sont à titre indicatif. Nous nous trouvons au Mexique et la monnaie locale est le pesos mexicain. La plupart de nos clients sont européens et n’ont pas vraiment une notion de combien vaut le peso mexicain, pour cette raison nous pouvons vous donner une estimation en Euro si désirée mais cela reste une estimation et dépendra du taux de change appliqué où vous changerez vos devises.  Il y a une banque juste à côté de notre agence où c’est possible de changer vos euros en pesos à un taux plus avantageux que la majorité des hôtels et l’aéroport. Nous acceptons également la carte bancaire.

Venez-vous me chercher à mon hôtel?

Nous sommes une agence officielle et en règle, nous pourrons donc venir vous chercher à la réception de votre hôtel. Il y a quelques hôtels par contre qui ont leur propre concession d’excursions et qui ne permettent pas l’accès aux agences extérieures comme la nôtre. Ils veulent ainsi convaincre leurs clients de seulement consommer à l’hotel. Si vous logez dans un de ces hôtels, nous vous demanderons de venir à l’entrée principale du domaine de l’hôtel pour le départ. Quelques exemples des ces hôtels sont: Bahia Principe, Princess, Gran Velas, Vidanta, .. Nos départs se font de Playa del Carmen, où est située l’agence. Si vous logez en dehors (comme par exemple Cancun, Puerto Morelos Puerto Aventuras, Akumal, Tulum,…), nous vous invitons si possible à nous rejoindre par vos propres moyens pour le départ des excursions. Nous pouvons aussi envoyer notre chauffeur venir vous chercher et vous ramener si vous le préférez moyennant des frais supplémentaires qui dépendront de la zone de votre hotel et si celui-ci se trouve sur notre route pour l’excursion ou pas. Sachez que les départs seront probablement très tôt (vers 5/6H du matin) et que vous serez en général les premiers à partir et les derniers à rentrer afin de ne pas affecter nos clients logés à Playa del Carmen comme nous. Merci pour votre compréhension.

Faisons-nous l'excursion en cas de mauvais temps?

Dans les Caraîbes le temps est imprévisible et généralement très localisé. Nous avons ce qu’on appelle des ‘micro-climats’. C’est possible qu’il pleut des cordes à votre hôtel et qu’à 10 minutes de là, il y a plein soleil. Les excursions terrestres ne sont pas annulées en cas de pluie, nuages, vent, … Les excursions en mer s’annulent seulement si le vent et les vagues sont trop fortes et que les autorités décident de fermer le port. Si une excursion est annulée à cause du climat, nous vous proposerons de la reporter à un autre jour et si pas possible, vous serez remboursés. En cas d’une telle annulation qui n’est pas de votre faute ni la notre, nous appliquerons un frais de dossier de 10 EUR par réservation. Si vous avez pris une assurance annulation ce frais sont à notre charge.

Puis-je avoir une réduction si j'achète plusieures excursions où si nous sommes une famille 'nombreuse'?

Nous sommes une agence qui préfère la non discrimination et selon nous tout le monde mérite les mêmes conditions et prix, peu importe la nationalité, sexe, religion, nombre de personnes, … Si vous réservez vos excursions en privé vous verrez que le prix par personne est dégressif selon le numéro de participants. Pour les excursions en petit groupe il y a une réduction à partir de 3 excursions*. Pour les groupes de plus de 20 personnes, nous ne pouvons plus appeler cela des petits groupes et nous pouvons donc voir suivant le cas, si une réduction supplémentaire peut s’appliquer sur l’ensemble du groupe.

Los Ángeles Azules Plan De Iztapalapa Para el Mundo Tour Dates 

On the heels of their most successful tour of the United States, Los Ángeles Azules have announced plans for their return as part of a sprawling run stretching from 2022 into 2023. De Iztapalapa Para el Mundo Tour dates will bring the group to 34 dates beginning in August.

De Iztapalapa Para El Mundo follows the band’s enormously successful 40 Años US Tour which amassed more than 25 SOLD OUT shows across the nation, including shows in New York, Dallas, Las Vegas, Chicago and two in Los Angeles. The new dates will begin with a show on August 26 at Denver’s Bellco Theater, and run through an April 1 date at the Saenger Theater in New Orleans. In between, stops will include Viejas Arena (San Diego), YouTube Theater (Los Angeles), Smart Financial Center (Houston), Hulu Theater (New York), Allstate Arena (Chicago), and many others. The group is also performing at the Besame Mucho festival in Los Angeles this December .

Hailing from Iztapalapa, Los Angeles Azules are considered the greatest ambassadors of cumbia worldwide and have taken the genre to renowned stages like Coachella and Vive Latino. Their most recent album, De Buenos Aires Para el Mundo, debuted at #8 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Top Albums list, becoming the group’s 12th album to enter the Top 10 on the prestigious list.

After two and half days getting acquainted with the city, we’ve set time aside for you to explore Moscow your way and discover your own favourite hang-outs in a city overflowing with hidden treasures

3-Day Moscow Tour Highlights:

• Panoramic Tour of Moscow: See Moscow beyond the postcard images on a private excursion by car through the city streets including a drive along the banks of the Moskva River. Visit the famous Bolshoi Theatre, pass by Gorky Park and the Novodevichy Convent, and admire the city from on high at the Sparrow Hill observation platform.
• Moscow Historical City Centre Guided Walking Tour : Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of one of the world’s biggest metropolises and discover local haunts on foot, including the Red Square, the Kremlin and the multi-coloured domes of St Basil’s Cathedral.

On your first day, you’ll be treated to a panoramic, drive-by tour of Moscow to get a feel for the immense scale of one of the world’s most rapidly developing urban centres. The city’s history unfolds in real-time as you pass lavish imperial mansions, solemn Soviet structures and luxurious modern shopping centres.

Day two kicks off exploring Moscow’s historic centre on foot, followed by a tour of the Kremlin, the seat of Russian power and political intrigue for centuries. Stand in the Red Square, surrounded by the stunning architecture as you hear stories of the people and events behind many of Moscow’s most iconic landmarks.

On your final day, we’ll head beneath the city for a tour of the Moscow Metro and its famously ornate underground stations. Art lovers should hit up one of Moscow’s many world-class galleries such as the Tretyakov State Gallery, the Pushkin Museum or Garage, Moscow’s cutting-edge contemporary art museum. History fans can follow a Soviet trail through the city including Stalin’s Bunker, while those seeking a more indulgent experience can browse trendy neighbourhoods like Kitay Gorod or shop for everything from fashion to kitsch souvenirs at the enchanting Izmaylovo Flea Market. Foodies can head to one of the countless speciality stores sampling vodka, caviar and chocolate.

Day 1 Panoramic city tour

Welcome to the glorious capital of Russia, Moscow! You’ll be met by your driver at the airport and taken to your centrally located hotel.

After check-in and rest, meet your private guide at the hotel lobby for a comprehensive tour of Moscow by car. Visit the starkly contrasting Theatre Square to see the stunning Bolshoi Theatre, pass Tverskaya Street, the city’s main boulevard and home to the landmark Yeleseyevskiy Grocery Store.

You’ll enjoy a panoramic drive along the Moskva River, where a huge, controversial state of Peter the Great was erected. Pass by the legendary Gorky Park and the White House before a stop at the architecturally stunning Novodevichy Convent, and the observation platform at Sparrow Hills, for a bird’s eye view over this staggering megalopolis.

Day 2 Red Square and Kremlin

After breakfast at the hotel, your guide will take you on a walking tour of the historical city centre. Stroll through the Red Square, the hub of cultural life in Moscow, with its elaborate ‘stone flower’ fountain and fantasy-like St Basil’s Cathedral – a postcard-perfect symbol of the nation. Admire the grandiose façade of GUM, the city’s most luxurious shopping centre, and visit Alexander’s Garden, with its eternal flame and the chance to watch a changing of the guards.

Break for lunch before continuing on a tour of the Kremlin and Armoury Chamber, famous of its collection of tsarist fashion, with regalia such as jewel-encrusted crowns, orbs and sceptres as well as arms and armour, exotic gifts from the leaders of faraway lands, and an illustrious case of Imperial Faberge eggs.

As an option* spend an evening on a sumptuous dinner cruise, taking in the stunning sights and city lights of this mesmerising metropolis by night.

Day 3 Metro and Arbat Street

Start a day with a tour of Metro, stopping on the way to marvel at some of the most elaborately decorated stations of the world-famous Moscow subway system. Take a stroll along Old Arbat street - the most famous street in Moscow. Through the centuries Arbat used to be one of the most bohemian places in Moscow. Egan Bernal: “Sueño con volver a ganar el Tour o ser el número uno del mundo”

El ciclista colombiano aseguró que sus números están mejor ahora que antes de la caída. su próximo reto será el tour de romandía..

Egan Bernal está viviendo una mejor temporada respecto a la del 2023, pues esa significó su regreso a la competencia luego del accidente que sufrió en enero del 2022, por lo que fue volver a encontrarse con las sensaciones de la alata competencia y le terminó pasando factura. Pero e l 2024 inició diferente para el pedalista de 27 años, pues ya podido conseguir buenos resultados.

Luego de haber disputado los nacionales en el país, inició con las pruebas World Tour, siendo la París Niza la primera de este nivel. Allí finalizó en la séptima posición y tuvo una mejor presentación en la Vuelta a Cataluña, en la que terminó en el tercer lugar, superado por Tadej Pogacar y Mikel Landa.

Tour de Francia, el objetivo principal del calendario

El Tour de Romandía , competición que sigue en su calendario, así como el Critérium Dauphiné , también son pruebas que le servirán al zipaquireño para poder preparar su eventual participación en el Tour de Francia, para la que todavía no está confirmado. “ Me siento bien, saco muy buenos valores durante los entrenamientos (...) Quiero continuar con esas actuaciones en las próximas carreras y seguir preparándome bien para lo que viene. El Tour de Romandía seguirá a partir del martes. Después iré al Critérium du Dauphiné y espero poder ir también al Tour de Francia”, empezó diciendo en entrevista con Wielerflits.

Posteriormente, reconoció que hasta la Vuelta Cataluña se dio cuenta que puede volver a ser el de antes. “¿Honestamente? Apenas la semana pasada. En la Vuelta a Cataluña ya estaba delante, pero me costaba cada momento encontrar mi ritmo.  Recién este mes recuperé esa buena sensación ”, agregó.

Asimismo, se centró en las estadísticas y los números para sacar la conclusión de que el Egan Bernal de antes está cerca de regresar, incluso con mejores cifras. “Creo que, cuando miro mis valores y cifras ahora,  ya estoy mejor en este momento que antes de mi caída.  Solo los demás han mejorado. Pero así es como ha evolucionado el deporte. Hay que seguir progresando cada temporada para estar entre los mejores.  Pero tengo fe. Solo tengo que perseverar y seguir haciendo bien lo que estoy haciendo ”.

Tour o ser el número uno del mundo

Si bien ha contado con buenos números, es consciente del paso adelante que se ha dado en el ciclismo, por lo que hay otros ciclistas que lideran el plano. Sin embargo, es optimista al ilusionarse con por qué no volver a ganar el Tour de Francia como ya lo hizo en 2019 o convertirse en el número uno del mundo, puesto que ocupa Tadej Pogacar. Bernal es 87, aunque ha tenido una evolución y ha ascendido puestos.

“No lo sé. Nadie lo sabe. Me despierto a cada momento con el objetivo de convertirme en el mejor. No sé si eso volverá a ser posible, pero mi motivación es entrenar cada mañana.  A menudo pienso en volver a ganar el Tour de Francia o en convertirme en el número uno del mundo . Mi objetivo personal es lograrlo nuevamente”, finalizó.

El Tour de Francia se llevará a cabo entre el sábado 29 de junio y terminará el domingo 21 de julio. Egan tendrá tiempo para preparar su participación y seguir soñando con volver a levantar el título en el Arco del Triunfo.

El Tour de Romandía suizo se celebrará del martes 23 al domingo 28 de abril de 2024. Cuenta con un recorrido de seis jornadas de las que dos serán bajo el formato de contrarreloj individual. La primera tendrá lugar en modo prólogo en Payerne y la antepenúltima en Oron la Ville , sin distancias confirmadas.

La segunda jornada del Tour de Romandía 2024 empieza y acaba en Friburgo con ascensión final a Les Marécottes (8 kilómetros al 7,,3%). Después de la CRI de Oron-la-Ville llegará el turno de los escaladores entre Saillon y Leysin , el día de la víspera en Vernier, al lado de Ginebra.

Destacan grandes nombres en la carrera por etapas suiza, donde Adam Yates parte como la gran baza de UAE Team Emirates y vigente campeón de la carrera en 2023. Después, Julian Alaphilippe y Kasper Asgreen son los grandes representantes de SOUDAL Quick Step , mientras que Jan Tratnik y Robert Gesink forman parte del Team Visma Lease a Bike.

Arkady in Veliky Novgorod was a very good guide and answered all of our questions with ease. Novgorod was perhaps a long way to go for a day trip, but we did enjoy it. Vasily was a great driver to have and kept us safe with good humour and skill. We enjoyed ourselves so much, my daughter says she is already planning to return. We would both have no hesistation to recommend ExpresstoRussia to anyone we know.

Just wanted to let you know that My grandson Bruno and I couldn´t have been more pleased with our week in Moscow (6/15 - 6/21). We were absolutely enchanted with the whole experience, including getting lost a couple of times in the Metro during our free time. Although both our guides (both Eleanas) were excellent, I would particularly commend the first one (she took us to the Tatiakov, the KGB tour, and to that beautiful cemetery where so many great Russian artists, authors, composers, musicians, militarists, and politicians are buried). Her knowledge is encyclopedic; and her understanding of today´s Russia as a product of its past was, for us, truly enlightening. I will be taking another tour in Russia, with my wife, within the next two or three years. I will be in touch with you when the time comes. There should be English-speaking staff in restaurants, bars, hotels, shops and attractions in tourist hotspots, and there are also English-speaking tourist police. Transport services have English translations on their maps and English announcements via intercom; alternatively, order taxis from the Yandex Taxi app (Russian Uber), though it’s unlikely that your taxi driver will speak English. If you get stuck and cannot communicate, it’s fine to use Google Translate.

Is it safe to travel to Moscow?

It is no less safe to travel to Moscow than to any European city if you exercise common sense and look after your belongings. As with every city some regions can be more unsavoury than others, but no tourist attractions are located there. The traffic in Moscow is notorious, so exercise caution when crossing roads. Do not take unlicensed taxis; book in advance or take public transport, which is widespread and perfectly safe. If you encounter any problems, look for the special tourist police who can help you. Moscú , simplemente pronunciando su nombre las imágenes épicas, casi de otro tiempo, empiezan a salpicar nuestra imaginación. Desfiles militares en la Plaza Roja, archivos secretos en las dependencias del Kremlin, noches de ópera a todo lujo en el Teatro Bolshói, los gritos desgarradores del zar Iván El Terrible en plena madrugada… tras pasar una semana y explorarla a fondo, podemos decir que, no solo es interesante, sino que es preciosa. En este artículo vamos a contarte las mejores 30 cosas que ver y hacer en Moscú 🙂

Ojo: dicen que Moscú es como una matrioska : por mucho que creas conocerla, siempre habrá una capa más que descubrir. Nosotros la visitamos en agosto, con buen tiempo (y muchos turistas), así que ahora nos toca regresar en pleno invierno para destapar esa otra cara. Cubierta de nieve tiene que ser mágica (eso sí, con buenos abrigos, eh!).

No tenemos dudas, nada más llegar deja tu equipaje en el alojamiento y sal disparado hacia la Plaza Roja . Es el epicentro de la Moscú del siglo XXI, aunque allí ya se cocían unas cuantas cosas hace varios cientos de años. En este enclave legendario se encuentra la Catedral de San Basilio, con sus famosas cúpulas de colores, el centro comercial GUM, la Catedral de Kazan, el Mausoleo de Lenin… Bueno, casi mejor te dejamos el artículo sobre que hacer en la Plaza Roja de Moscú y así te lo vas estudiando 😉

No hay que irse demasiado lejos para llegar al segundo lugar que hay que visitar en Moscú sí o sí: El Kremlin . De hecho comparte muralla con la Plaza Roja, pero si bien para entrar a esta no tendrás que hacer ninguna cola, el acceso al Kremlin está un pelín más congestionado. A diferencia de lo que cree la gente, el Kremlin es mucho más que la sede del Gobierno de Rusia: es una verdadera ciudad fortificada, donde hay catedrales, museos, plazas, jardines y, claro, edificios administrativos. Aunque sus dos visitas imprescindibles son la Plaza de las Catedrales y el Museo de la Armería . Aquí te damos unos consejos para visitar el Kremlin (y no cagarla) (pendiente).

Pero antes de entrar date una vuelta por los Jardines de Alejandro . Es un bonito paseo que transcurre paralelo a la muralla del Kremlin, con algunas visitas interesantes, como la Tumba del Soldado Desconocido, la fuente de la Plaza Manezhnaya en forma de cúpula que funciona como un reloj solar del mundo, la gruta al lado de la Torre del Arsenal (con su historia que podrás conocer en el free tour), y en su extremo sur el imponente monumento a Vladímir El Grande de casi 18 metros.

¿Sabías que hay más de un Kremlin en Moscú? Nosotros fuimos a visitar también el Kremlin de Izmaylovo y fue todo un acierto… Eso sí, es más un lugar turístico que histórico, ya que se construyó en 2007! Pero es bonito. Y lleno de colores. Además hay otro buen motivo para acercarte a Izmaylovo: su famoso mercadillo . Aquí podrás encontrar desde baratijas a valiosas antigüedades, y los mejores souvenirs de la ciudad. Hay de todo, matrioskas, tazas de Putin, replicas de los Huevos de Fabergé, los típicos gorros rusos o posters de propaganda comunista. El metro más cercano es Partizanskaya . Consejo: si puedes ve un domingo, es cuando más ambiente hay.

En cualquier ciudad del mundo, subir al metro es un mero trámite para moverse de un lado a otro… No en Moscú. Aquí además es una atracción! Y es que el metro de Moscú cuenta con algunas de las estaciones más espectaculares del mundo, no por nada se ha llamado “el palacio del pueblo”. Hay tours en español que te llevan a conocer las más interesantes. Pero si prefieres hacer este recorrido por libre, mira este post donde te contamos cuales son las 15 estaciones de metro más bonitas de Moscú .

El Museo de la Cosmonáutica cuenta una parte de la historia de Rusia de la que se sienten muy orgullosos. Allí podrás aprender más sobre el programa espacial soviético (en concreto sobre sus logros, que son unos cuantos) y ver objetos increíbles de la carrera espacial y de los cosmonautas, tratados como auténticos héroes. Se encuentra en el centro de exposiciones VDNKh, y no te costará encontrarlo: está justo debajo del impresionante Monumento a los Conquistadores del Espacio . La entrada es barata: solo vale 250 rublos (unos 3,50€). Curiosidad: a la salida del museo busca el callejón de los cosmonautas, donde hay estatuas de los más importantes astronautas rusos como Yuri Gagarin (el primer hombre en salir al espacio), Vladimir Komarov o Mstislav Keldysh. En el recinto VDNKh , con más de 2 millones de metros cuadrados, es el espacio donde tienen lugar las exposiciones temporales y eventos más importantes de la ciudad. Aunque también es interesante darse una vuelta en cualquier momento. Tras cruzar el enorme arco del triunfo hay parques, fuentes, museos, monumentos, e incluso un avión de combate y un cohete rusos expuestos en estas avenidas. Aquí tienes más información .

Si te gusta el arte, el Museo Pushkin te va a encantar. Aquí se pueden admirar desde cuadros de Van Gogh, Renoir, Matisse o Rembrandt, hasta esculturas del Antiguo Egipto. Además solo cuesta 400 rublos, así que es un plan casi imperdible. Más información .

Y siguiendo con los museos, no podemos dejar de recomendar la Galería Tretyakov , con una cantidad impresionante de obras de artistas rusos, desde Andrei Rubliov a Kandinski o a Chagall. Curiosidad: se llama así en honor a Pável Tretiakov, un filántropo que comenzó esta extraordinaria colección de más de 1.000 piezas. Algunas de las obras maestras que ver son: la Virgen de Vladimir (uno de los iconos más venerados de Rusia), Composición VII de Vasil Kandinski e Iván el Terrible y su Hijo de Ilya Repin , uno de los artistas más destacados del realismo ruso. La entrada vale 500 rublos. Más información .

Un buen sitio para sacar fotos memorables, con la Catedral de San Basilio y la Plaza Roja como fondo, es el Parque Zaryadye . Se construyó hace unos años donde antes estaba el grandioso Hotel Rossiya , el que fue el hotel más grande de mundo. La idea era muy concreta: descongestionar la Plaza Roja, y se consiguió… Ahora toooodos los turistas pasamos por aquí, para tener una de las mejores panorámicas de Moscú. Termina la visita en su extremo sur, y recorre el puente flotante en forma de boomerang que sobresale encima del Río Moscova, una pasada!

Otra panorámica muy guapa y sorprendente es la del “ Moscow City ”, un grupo de rascacielos que pretenden ganarse el apodo de “la Manhattan de Europa”. Los edificios acogen hoteles, centros comerciales, oficinas y miradores panorámicos. El más bonito y llamativo es la Evolucion Tower , que parece enrollarse en sí misma, como una enorme cadena de ADN. Hay un mirador (y un parquecito) justo frente al skyline, ve sin dudarlo: la zona es segura y conocerás algo más que el corazón de la ciudad… para nosotros es de lo mejorcito que ver en Moscú si tienes tiempo!

Pero si quieres subir hasta el mirador más alto de la ciudad (y el más alto de Europa!), cruza al otro lado del río Moscova y entra en la Federation Tower (Bashnya Federatsiya) . Allí hay un mirador en su planta 89 con vistas 360 impresionantes. El acceso cuesta 1.500 rublos, una vez arriba te dan te o café y helado gratis. Nosotros no subimos, ya que preferimos disfrutar de otras vistas (y gratis… como te contaremos luego). Más información .

El Teatro Bolshói es uno de los sitios más famosos de Moscú. Aquí, desde 1825, bailarines de la talla de Galina Sergeyevna Ulanova o de Maya Plisétskaya encandilaron a espectadores de cada rincón del mundo. Si quieres ver un espectáculo de opera o ballet… prepárate a desembolsar una buena suma de dinero y a hacer la reserva con cierta antelación ( aquí encuentras la programación ). Aunque en todo Moscú hay repartidos otros teatros con obras locales que son mucho más baratas.

Y hablando de Maya Plisétskaya, en la calle Bolshaya Dmitrovka St 12/1 podrás admirar un mural que el artista brasileño Kobra dedicó a la gran bailarina. Además la calle es bien bonita!

La Catedral de Cristo Salvador es uno de los top lugares que visitar en Moscú, ¡y pensar que casi nos quedamos sin poder admirarla! Stalin la dinamitó en 1931, en su afán por eliminar todo aquello que oliera a iglesia o a las grandes familias de zares rusos. Hoy en día, gracias a un increíble trabajo de reconstrucción, podemos contemplar su impoluta fachada blanca y sus famosas cúpulas doradas. Entrar es gratis y, aunque no tenemos fotos para demostrártelo (no se pueden hacer), tienes que creernos: es una de las iglesias más bonitas que verás en Rusia. Consejo: no te pierdas la planta baja, con muchos menos turistas y casi tan sorprendente.

A unos pocos minutos caminando de allí hay un embarcadero desde el cual salen cruceros por el río Moscova . Nosotros fuimos al atardecer y las vistas fueron impagables (pero es que además… salió bien barato! Lo reservamos aquí ). En realidad hay varios embarcaderos y diferentes barcos, el nuestro era medio cutrecillo, pero si quieres un crucero baratito, es lo mejor 😉

La calle más famosa en Moscú es la calle Arbat . Se considera una de las más antiguas de la ciudad, y fue el lugar elegido por muchos aristócratas para ubicar sus humildes moradas durante siglos. Hoy en día es una de las pocas calles peatonales de Moscú, lo cual se agradece, y pasear entre hermosos edificios, tiendecitas, cafés y artistas callejeros animando la noche es un placer.

Además, si no vas a ir al mercado de Izmailovo, es buen sitio donde hacerte con algún que otro souvenir. Otras calles que nos encantaron fueron la calle Pokrovka , el Bulevar Chistoprudny , o la calle Tverskaya (una de las arterias principales de Moscú).

La Torre de Telecomunicaciones Ostankino es, nada más y nada menos, que la cuarta torre más alta del mundo (y el octavo edificio más alto del mundo). Nosotros no subimos, pero dicen que desde allí las vistas de Moscú son brutales, aunque no demasiado características de la ciudad. La Torre mide más de 500 metros, sin embargo la plataforma con el mirador está a “solo” 337 metros.

Donde sí fuimos (y nos flipó) fue al Parque de Kolómenskoye , en el que, entre otras cosas, se encuentra el famoso palacio de madera del Zar Alexis Mikhailovich . Se construyó en el 1660, y durante su dilatada vida, grandes zares pasaron allí sus veranos (o incluso parte de su vida), como por ejemplo Pedro el Grande. Por desgracia, este palacio que en su tiempo fue considerado como “la octava maravilla del mundo”, fue destruido. En 2010 el gobierno lo reconstruyó y hoy lo podemos ver tal cual era.

La entrada al palacio cuesta 350 rublos, aunque nosotros nos conformamos con verlo desde fuera. Además todo el parque es súper interesante, cuenta con iglesias, construcciones típicas de hace siglos y campos de manzanos (manzanas para todos!). Para llegar lo mejor es bajar en la parada de metro Kolomenskaya (línea 2- verde) o bien en bus (usa Google Maps, vago!).  No te lo pierdas por nada del mundo, porque es una de las mejores sitios que ver en Moscú!

Y de una residencia de verano… a otra: hablamos del Palacio Tsaritsyno , que surge donde antes estaba Bogorodskoe, un poblado rural que la zarina Catalina la Grande compró a finales de 1.700 y que transformó en uno de los lugares con más encanto de toda la ciudad. ¿Sabías que en Moscú hay un monasterio que parece sacado de un cuento? Es el Monasterio Novodevichy , justo a los pies de la Colina de los Gorriones. Es de estilo barroco, lleno de edificios peculiares y rincones llenos de encanto. La visita cuesta 300 rublos, aunque en el momento de nuestra estancia en Moscú estaba en reformas, así que infórmate antes de ir. Curiosidad: fue aquí donde el zar Pedro el Grande encerró a su hermana Sofía Alekséievna, culpable de conspirar a sus espaldas para quedarse con el trono.

Allí al lado está el cementerio Novodevichy , donde descansan personalidades rusas de la talla de Boris Yeltsin, Mijaíl Bulgákov o Pável Beliáyev. Si no te da cosita pasear por los cementerios, no dudes en ir: parece casi más un museo al aire libre!

Si quieres descansar del trafico de la ciudad y relajarte rodeado de verde, uno de los mejores sitios para hacerlo es el Parque Gorki . En los meses de verano además se improvisa una playa de arena, con tumbonas y todo.

Un sitio súper curioso y original que visitar en Moscú es una antigua tienda que se encuentra en un palacio del siglo XVIII. En serio, mientras recorres los mostradores, será como hacer un viaje en el tiempo ¡que lujo! Se llama Eliseevsky y dicen que aquí es donde compraban los nobles y duques rusos (y hasta los zares… aunque enviaban a sus empleados, claro). Nos pareció suuuper lindo. Se encuentra en el número 14 de la calle Tverskaya (desde fuera no se ve nada, tienes que entrar dentro para encontrarlo). Tienen tanto productos gourmet como otros completamente normales del día a día.

¿Sabías que Stalin quiso construir 8 palacios para celebrar el VIII centenario de Moscú? Realmente no consiguió cumplir esta hazaña, pero se quedó muy cerquita: en Moscú hay 7 de estos palacios, que los rusos conocen como “ Las 7 Hermanas ”. Se construyeron entre 1940 y 1950 y son:

• Universidad Estatal de Moscú
• Hotel Ucrania
• Edificio de viviendas en Kotélnicheskaya Náberezhnaya
• Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores de Rusia
• Edificio de la plaza Kudrinskaya
• Hotel Leningrado
• Edificio de la Plaza de la Puerta Roja
• La octava, por cierto, inicialmente debería ser el Hotel Rossiya, del que te hablamos antes 😉

Frente a uno de ellos, el de la Universidad Estatal, hay una terraza panorámica con excelentes vistas sobre toda la ciudad de Moscú. Está en la llamada Colina de los Gorriones , al otro lado de uno de los meandros del Río Moscova, y se puede llegar fácilmente en bus. Subimos en fin de semana de pleno verano y el ambiente motero era brutal! Así que, si te gustan las vistas panorámicas, o bien las motos, apunta este lugar en rojo ya que es una de las mejores cosas que ver y hacer en Moscú!

Si eres de los que disfrutan de los mercados locales, en Moscú te recomendamos el Danilovsky Market . Se ubica dentro un curioso edificio que podría parecer una nave espacial. Es un mercado gourmet, así que los precios son algo más elevados que de costumbre, pero los ingredientes son de primera calidad y además también es buen sitio para comer algo (con opciones de varios países como Georgia o Uzbekistán).

Hay 2 buenos motivos para acercarse a la Plaza Lubianka . El primero es conocer el antiguo edificio de la KGB , lo reconocerás ya que es el único amarillo y rojo de la plaza.

Y el segundo es entrar al centro comercial Tsentral’nyy Detskiy Magazin , construido en 1953 y desde entonces enteramente dedicado a niños y adolescentes. El interior es precioso, con una galería acristalada impresionante y un enorme reloj colgante. Ah, un consejo, no te vayas sin pasarte por el restaurante Grabli, en el último piso, con estupendas vistas de los alrededores. Es uno de los restaurantes donde comer en Moscú que te recomendamos .

Nosotros nos alojamos en el apart-hotel Naumov , en la zona de los Boulevards Sretensky y si te apetece un plan relajado y 100% local, seguro que te gusta! Conocerás una Moscú más auténtica, lejos de la zona turística (pero solo a 20 min caminando del centro). Además justo al lado se encuentra uno de los lugares que más nos gustaron de Moscú (y nada turísticos): el Monasterio Sretensky , que visitamos casi a solas y nos pareció una obra maestra. Al que no fuimos, pero teníamos apuntado, fue al Monasterio de Novospassky.

En Moscú se puede visitar un bunker a 65 metros bajo tierra. Se trata del Bunker 42 , un antiguo refugio de la época de la Guerra Fría que hoy en día está abierto al público (y hasta tiene restaurante con recetas típicas soviéticas). Ojo, porque para visitarlo hay que bajar (y luego subir) 18 pisos de escaleras. Puedes reservar tu entrada y tour aquí . Y si te apasiona todo lo relativo a la II Guerra Mundial, apunta este tour .

Si cuentas con varios días en Moscú, hay una excursión que quizás te pueda interesar: hablamos de Serguiev Posad , una preciosa ciudad que en el llamado “Anillo de Oro”. Allí podrás visitar el monasterio ortodoxo de la Trinidad y San Sergio, Patrimonio de la Humanidad. Para llegar puedes ir en tren (infórmate bien sobre la estación de salida y los horarios) o con un tour en español . Y si tienes más tiempo plantéate hacer un circuito por el conocido Anillo de Oro enterito.
