Hallo, ich habe sie immer als Kind gehört und war so happy bei dem Konzert. Es war einfach nur super! Leider, aber verständlicher Weise, haben sie während Corona abgesagt. Aber vielleicht habe ich doch Glück, sie noch einmal zu sehen. Ich liebe es einfach.

Jeff Lynne’s ELO Announces Final Tour

Jeff Lynne 's ELO has announced The Over and Out Tour. The band's final tour will play more than two dozen North American cities starting in the fall.

The shows will launch in Palm Desert, California, on Aug. 24 and wrap up on Oct. 25 in Los Angeles. Jeff Lynne's ELO last toured in 2019 , the same year their latest album, From Out of Nowhere , was released. It was the group's first North American tour in more than 30 years.

At the time, Lynne - the only original member of the Electric Light Orchestra still in the band - said he wasn't planning to go on the road again. "I don't know what happened," he said .

"I just got talked into it by somebody on the radio [in 2013]. It was for charity, and we only had two numbers. That's all we practiced for, so we had to do 'Mr. Blue Sky' twice, because we hadn't learned enough songs for the encore. But it went down so great that then the BBC invited us to the Hyde Park concert for Radio 2 [in 2014], and that's what got us started, really."

Electric Light Orchestra was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2017. Their first album since 2001, Alone in the Universe , was released in 2015.

The Over and Out Tour, which is being billed as the band's final shows, will play 27 North American cities after its start in California on Aug. 24. Stops include dates in Seattle, Cleveland, New York and Denver.

Jeff Lynne’s ELO have announced their final tour, dubbed “The Over and Out Tour.” The 27-date excursion, produced by Live Nation, will kick off in Palm Desert, CA on August 24 and travel across North America before concluding in Los Angeles on October 25.

Artist presale will begin on Wednesday, March 20 at 10 a.m. local time and the general onsale will start on Friday, March 22 at 10 a.m. local time. Exclusive VIP experiences will be available March 20 at 10am local.

ELO — originally named the Electric Light Orchestra — was formed in 1972 by singers/multi-instrumentalists Lynne and Roy Wood and drummer Bev Bevan from the ashes of legendary rockers the Move, with the intention of fusing rock music with classical instruments. Wood left after one album and Lynne assumed leadership of the group — taking on lead singer, songwriter, producer and guitarist roles — which went on to score such massive hits through the ‘70s as “Evil Woman,” “Strange Magic,” “Living Thing,” “Can’t Get It Out of My Head,” “Mr. Blue Sky,” “Telephone Line,” “Don’t Bring Me Down” and more.

Lynne revived the ELO brand in 2001, with himself and longtime keyboardist Richard Tandy as the only remaining early members, for the album “Zoom” (featuring Harrison and Starr) and tour. He did so again in 2014 and has toured extensively and released two albums with the group, 2015’s “Alone in the Universe” and 2019’s “From Out of Nowhere.”

Jeff Lynne ’s Electric Light Orchestra have announced 27 North American dates for what will be their final tour. The Over and Out Tour will kick off in Palm Desert, California, on August 24, and run through to October 25 when ELO will drop the curtain at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California. ELO have sold over 50 million albums worldwide and were inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2017.

Jeff Lynne ELO Tour 2024

After Jeff Lynne and his Electric Light Orchestra embarked on their first U.S. tour in 35 years this summer, the Rock Hall-inducted act will return to North America for an encore trek in 2020. The 20-date trek launches June 20th at Anaheim, California’s Honda Center and hits arenas across the nation before concluding August 1st in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Last summer's tour was Lynne's first in North America in more than 30 years -- though he played throughout Europe in 2016 and is currently finishing up a series of dates there, with shows in Liverpool, Dublin and Belfast remaining. The concerts included many of ELO's hits, plus "When I Was a Boy" from 2015's Alone in the Universe and "Handle With Care" by the Traveling Wilburys. Lynne recently revealed that the supergroup's name was not derived from him and George Harrison saying "We'll bury 'em in the mix," as they had claimed in the past.

Tickets for the newly announced shows go on sale Monday, October 29th at 10:00 am local time.

The Over and Out Tour is their last

Jeff Lynne’s ELO have announced a final tour called The Over and Out Tour.

The extensive North American trek takes in 27 dates, opening at Palm Springs Acrisure Arena on Saturday 24th August and wrapping up at Los Angeles Kia Forum on Friday 25th October.

A statement reads: "The Over and Out Tour, the final tour, is coming to the U.S. and it’s going to be out of this world! Join Jeff Lynne’s ELO for a historic night live in concert.”

Tickets go on sale at 10am local time on Friday 22nd March.

The Over and Out Tour is Jeff Lynne’s ELO’s first North American trek in exactly five years.

Jeff Lynne’s ELO last toured the UK back in autumn 2018 when they played 15 sold-out arenas. Their planned seven-date From Out of Nowhere UK Tour in October 2020 was cancelled due to the Covid pandemic.

It’s currently unclear whether there will be any UK and European dates on The Over and Out Tour. We’ll keep our fingers crossed!

76-year-old Jeff Lynne has sold more than 50 million records worldwide with ELO and scored 20 Top 40 hits in the UK and US.

Alongside his fabled career with ELO, Lynne was a co-founder and member of The Travelling Wilburys together with George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison, and Tom Petty, as well as a producer and collaborator with some of the biggest names in music including The Beatles, Tom Petty, Roy Orbison, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Joe Walsh and Bryan Adams.

Led Zeppelin legend Robert Plant is completing a 15-date UK tour in March 2024, with his band Saving Grace. Featuring Suzi Dian. The tour opened at Bristol Beacon on Wednesday 13th March, visiting Ipswich, London, Tunbridge Wells, Peterborough, Nottingham, Hastings, Liverpool, Sheffield and Blackburn throughout the month. Dates then continue, as Robert Plant presents Saving Grace then play Harrogate in late April, Stockton and Warwick in early May, and Southend and Woking in July. Buy tickets here

Melodic rockers FM announced a 15-date 2024 UK tour to celebrate their 40th anniversary. They will play 15 shows, starting in March 2024. Beginning the stretch in Nantwich Civic Hall on Saturday 30th March, they will visit Brighton, Milton Keynes, Nottingham, Gateshead, Leeds, Bury St Edmunds, Birmingham, Cardiff, Newbury, Exeter, Southampton, London and Glasgow before concluding at Aberdeen Lemon Tree on Saturday 1st June. British rockers Kira Mac have a fresh headline UK tour lined up for April and May 2024. The string of dates will begin at Leeds Brudenell on Thursday 24th April 2024, continuing through to Saturday 11th May with a show at Stoke Underground. Playing 12 shows in total, Kira Mac will travel through Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle, Nottingham, Southampton, Wolverhampton, Norwich, Bristol, Newbury and London. The Rolling Stones

Another tour happening in 2024 is legendary rock band The Rolling Stones . In October 2023, guitarist Keith Richards confirmed that the band were planning to hit the road in 2024 in support of 'Hackney Diamonds' - their first album of original material in 18 years. Then, in November 2023, the band further teased 2024 tour dates as they shared a link calling fans to sign up to their mailing list, for upcoming news and announcements. After fans noticed their iconic red tongue and lips logo then appearing outside locations in North America, it was confirmed that The Rolling Stones are set to play 15 stadium shows , and one festival, on a colossal tour across the United States and Canada from April-July 2024.

The Cadillac Three

Nashville country fuzz heroes The Cadillac Three will embark on their headline UK & Ireland 'The Years Go Fast Tour' in May 2024. The tour will open at Dublin Academy on Saturday 4th May, with the band visiting Belfast, Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds, Nottingham and Cardiff before concluding with The Cadillac Three's headline slot at Highways Festival at London Royal Albert Hall on Friday 17th May. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band

As part of a 22-date European tour, The Boss and his incredible band will be heading to the UK & Ireland in May and July 2024 ! Tour dates begin as they play Cardiff Principality Stadium on Sunday 5th May 2024, before heading to Belfast, Kilkenny, Cork, Dublin and Sunderland. Toby Jepson

Wayward Sons frontman and Planet Rock presenter Toby Jepson will be embarking on an 18-date solo acoustic UK tour in May and June 2024. Entitled 'My Life In Words – Live Acoustic! From Little Angels to Wayward Sons', the sizable tour begins in Crumlin on 10th May 2024, continuing up until 25th June. Buy tickets here

Rammstein will be heading on an 18-date European stadium tour throughout Summer 2024. Dates begin in Prague Airport Letnany on Saturday 11th May, and after touring through 12 European countries over three months, the shows will conclude with two concerts at Gelsenkirchen Veltins Arena - in Rammstein's native Germany - on Friday 26th and Saturday 27th July 2024. At the moment, there are no UK dates on Rammstein's touring itinerary.

The Black Crowes

The Black Crowes announced in January that they have lined up a four-date headline English tour for May 2024. The short trek will see Chris and Rich Robinson and co. perform at Manchester O2 Apollo on Tuesday 14th May, then playing London Eventim Apollo and Newcastle O2 City Hall before culminating at Wolverhampton Civic Halls on Saturday 18th May. May 2024 will see that start of The Classic Tales of YES UK Tour . Progressive rock legends YES will be embarking on a nine-dates trek this May and June, including new concerts at London's Royal Albert Hall and the Bristol Beacon, together with seven dates rescheduled from the YES' postponed 2023 Relayer UK tour.

Eric Clapton

Guitar virtuoso Eric Clapton has announced a headline UK & Ireland tour for May 2024. Slowhand will play arenas in Newcastle, Liverpool, Birmingham and Dublin before culminating with four nights at London's world-famous Royal Albert Hall. Buy tickets here.

'Hotel California' legend Eagles will be carrying out a UK residency in May and June 2024 - joined by Steely Dan at all dates. The residency will take place in Manchester, as part of their multi-year swansong tour The Long Goodbye . The Eagles will play the UK's largest indoor arena - Manchester's new 23,500 capacity Co-op Live venue - on Friday 31st May, Saturday 1st June and Tuesday 4th June 2024. The self-professed Greatest Band That Ever Played on Planet Earth, Tenacious D, will embark on a six-date UK arena tour in May 2024. The 'Tenacious D and the Spicy Meatball Tour' opens at Resorts World Arena in Birmingham on Tuesday 7th May 2024 and visits Manchester AO Arena, Glasgow OVO Hydro, Leeds First Direct Arena and Nottingham Motorpoint Arena before culminating at Brighton Centre on Monday 13th May 2024. Bryan Adams

The legendary Bryan Adams will be embarking on a six-date UK tour in May 2024. The Groover From Vancouver will kick off the string of shows with a three-night residency at London's Royal Albert Hall from Monday 13th to Wednesday 15th May 2024, before heading through Coventry, Sheffield and Cardiff from 17th - 19th. Nickelback will head on a four-date UK arena tour in May 2024, starting the string of dates in Glasgow on Thursday 16th, before playing in Manchester and London, and ending the run in Birmingham on Thursday 23rd May 2024. Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson will embark on a six date UK tour in May 2024. Jane's Addiction

Jane's Addiction will head on a short headline UK tour in May and June 2024. The short tun of shows will follow Jane Addiction's already announced headline slot at the Bearded Theory Festival, which will take place in Derbyshire from Thursday 23rd May to Sunday 26th May 2024. They will then perform two nights at London's The Roundhouse (27th and 29th May), then play Glasgow Barrowland (31st May) and Manchester O2 Apollo (3rd June). Buy tickets here

Five Finger Death Punch

Five Finger Death Punch will embark on their UK/European tour of headline dates, including a show at London's OVO Arena Wembley, starting on 23rd May 2024. Dates are set to continue through to 14th July.

Robin Trower

May 2024 will see Robin Trower perform his first live concerts in six years, at Planet Rock's Blues Power Live. For the first time, Blues Power Live will take place at three separate venues across England - Robin Trower kicks off the trio of concerts at London Islington Assembly on Tuesday 28th May, before playing two more dates at Gateshead Glasshouse (30th May) and Holmfirth Picturedrome (31st May). Although it's not quite a UK tour, German rock legends Scorpions will be playing their first UK concert in five years in 2024. Taking place at London OVO Arena Wembley on Saturday 8th June 2024, Rudolf Schenker, Klaus Meine, Matthias Jabs, Pawel Maciwoda and Mikkey Dee will perform their only UK concert, as part of the 'Love at First Sting Tour', celebrating the 40th anniversary of Scorpions' ninth studio album of the same name. Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets

Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets will celebrate the early music of Pink Floyd on a headline UK tour in June 2024 . Nick Mason, Gary Kemp, Guy Pratt, Lee Harris and Dom Beken will play 14 headline shows opening at Stoke Victoria Hall on Tuesday 11th June and wrapping up at London Royal Albert Hall on Saturday 29th June. Mr. Bungle will play two headline shows ahead of their appearance at Download Festival this summer, serving as their first headline UK shows in 24 years. The epic shows will take place at London O2 Forum Kentish Town on Wednesday 12th June and Manchester O2 Ritz on Thursday 13th June. Foo Fighters

Foo Fighters began promoting their 11th studio album 'But Here We Are' in May 2023, while also revealing that UK concerts were on the horizon . The news was confirmed in June, with the band announcing their highly anticipated UK tour will take place in 2024 . Dates for the shows take place from Thursday 13th June - Thursday 27th, with the tour being the band's first in the UK since the untimely death of drummer Taylor Hawkins , which led to them cancelling UK stadium tour in June and July 2022 . Foo Fighters made their live return in May 2023, with Josh Freese recruited as their new drummer . Foo Fighters will play in Manchester, Glasgow, London, Cardiff and Birmingham. British slide guitar virtuoso Troy Redfern has lined up an 11-date headline UK tour for June 2024, titled the 'Troy Redfern "Invocation" Headline UK Tour'. The tour will open in Frome on Monday 17th June 2024, travelling through Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Chester, Birmingham, Guildford, Cambridge, Southampton and London before concluding in Tunbridge Wells on Tuesday 27th June. Keanu Reeves' rock band Dogstar will play their first UK shows in 25 years this summer, heading to the UK to play two shows in June 2024 . As part of a larger European tour, Dogstar will play headline shows at Manchester New Century Hall on Tuesday 18th June and London Electric Ballroom on Wednesday 19th June. In 2024 'American Idiot' legends Green Day will be bringing their tour to the UK & Europe . 'The Savior Tour' will follow the release of their 14th studio album of the same name, which will be released on Friday 19th January 2024. Tour dates start in Manchester on Friday 21st June 2024, and also include their appearance at the Isle Of Wight Festival. The same day they premiered the title track from their 12th studio album 'Dark Matter' , Pearl Jam announced shows in England and Ireland for as part of their tour in summer 2024. The Seattle rock heroes will perform at Dublin Marlay Park on Saturday 22nd June, Manchester's brand new venue Co-op Live on Tuesday 25th June, and London's Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday 29th June.

Rock legends Heart will embark on their first UK tour in eight years this July 2024. The Royal Flush Tour 2024 will see Heart play six huge arena shows with special guests Squeeze, who are celebrating their 50th anniversary. The tour will open at London's The O2 on Monday 1st July 2024, then visit Birmingham, Nottingham, Manchester and Leeds before concluding at Glasgow OVO Hydro on Tuesday 9th July 2024. Following reports that AC/DC were 'looking at 2024 tour dates' to coincide with their 50th anniversary, and after the rock legends' live return at October 2023's Power Trip festival in California, it has been confirmed that AC/DC will perform two colossal concerts at London's Wembley Stadium for this summer. As part of The Power Up Tour, named after the band's chart-topping 2020 album 'PWR UP', the shows will take place on Wednesday 3rd and Sunday 7th July 2024. Mammoth WVH

Mammoth WVH will return to the UK in July for their first headlining shows - after their stint opening for Slash with Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, and playing shows with legendary names such as Metallica, Alter Bridge and Sevendust, Def Leppard and Motley Crüe, and Nita Strauss. Fleetwood Mac icon Stevie Nicks will headline American Express presents BST Hyde Park this summer. Stevie will top the bill at the London festival on Friday 12th July 2024. Shortly after her headline spot was announced, it was then revealed that the legend will be performing two more arena shows in the UK this summer, taking place at Glasgow's OVO Hydro on Saturday 6th July and Manchester's Co-op Live on Tuesday 9th July. The Commoners - 2024

Taking place alongside their festival performances at Steelhouse and Maid of Stone, Canadian rockers The Commoners will play a string of headline shows throughout the UK. The trek of seven headline shows will open at London's The Grace on Friday 19th July 2024, and visit Milton Keynes, Wolverhampton, Newbury, Manchester, Edinburgh and Leeds on 27th July. Garbage - 2024

Scottish-American rockers Garbage have announced their first headline UK tour in five years. Following their previously confirmed show at Glasgow's TRNSMT Festival in July 2024, Garbage will play their own headline concerts in Edinburgh, Bridlington, Wolverhampton and Manchester before concluding with a gargantuan gig at London Wembley OVO Arena on Saturday 20th July. Alt-metal pioneers KoRn will return to London in August 2024 to perform for the first time in seven years. In what will be their biggest UK headline show to date, the band will perform at London's Gunnersbury Park on Sunday 11th August.

Blackberry Smoke

In September 2024 Blackberry Smoke will be coming to the UK for a five-date headline tour. Following Finnish symphonic metallers Apocalyptica recruiting Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo for a track on their tenth studio album 'Plays Metallica Vol. 2', the band also announced 2024 UK tour dates. Apocalyptica will perform Metallica classics on tour throughout September and October 2024, with dates starting in Manchester on Sunday 29th September. Punk rock pioneers The Damned will perform 11 shows with their 80s line-up, in a very special UK tour in December 2024. Revisiting Jeff Lynne’s 2023 Concert, His First in 4 Years

Jeff Lynne’s ELO returned to the concert stage for the first time in more than four years on November 12, 2023 with a 10-song, hit-filled performance. The appearance, part of Joe Walsh’s annual VetsAid benefit concert held this year in San Diego, Calif., was almost four years to the day since his band played a studio show for BBC Radio in London in November 2019 and their first since Lynne completed a North American tour that August 1. The shorter set, part of a multi-act lineup organized by Walsh, included such ELO favorites as “Don’t Bring Me Down,” “All Over the World” and “Mr. Blue Sky.”

Lynne, born on December 30, 1947, had been enjoying a late-career renaissance. A huge comeback event, billed for the first time as Jeff Lynne’s ELO before 50,000 in London’s Hyde Park in September 2014, gave him the confidence that the public interest was not only there, it was insatiable. In 2015, he recorded a studio album, Alone In the Universe , and signed a worldwide deal with Columbia Records. That led to club appearances in New York and Los Angeles. A year later, he played a pair of shows at Radio City Music Hall as well as at the Hollywood Bowl. Soon, he was back to headlining arenas in Europe and North America, and triumphantly played London’s Wembley Stadium in 2017. That same year, decades of being eligible, the Electric Light Orchestra was finally inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Lynne, a production nut, released another studio album in 2019, and it was expected that he would continue touring as Jeff Lynne’s ELO. The pandemic, however, changed all of that.

The spaceship finally landed on a chilly Sunday evening at an outdoor venue, the North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre, as Lynne and company kicked off their set with “Evil Woman” and “Do Ya.”

Before performing “Turn to Stone,” Lynne said, “I’d just like to say, to all veterans, thank you for your service. It’s a wonderful thing that you do.” He also thanked Walsh “for inviting us all here tonight.”

It was a rare public appearance for Lynne since the pandemic. In June 2023, he was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame by none other than Walsh. On March 18, 2024, Lynne announced a final tour, called “Over and Out.” Tickets will be available starting March 22 here .

Once Jeff Lynne’s ELO began everyone was Standing up! Wow! Top Class beyond the best! Jeff has it better now then ever! Will go see ELO again and soon I hope!

That’s a great lineup of songs, from an amazing, and humble English rocker. Hope they plan a tour for 24 sometime soon!

Jeff let his hair down and actually seemed to be having fun, as he and his band performed a fun, raw, and rare set of live music that was over 50 years in the making. This live, understated performance came from his heart and it absolutely showed.

Being at the 2018 tour opener in Oakland was an unforgettable experience. It had been 35 years since they last toured and 37 since they had opened a show in Oakland.

I enjoy this very much. Still after 4 years his voice is lovely and the music make me feel so good and positive. Wonderful indeed

I was lined up to see ELO in high school-but somehow didn’t get tickets. About 40 years later I saw him at Hollywood Bowl-with a full orchestra!! it was totally Epic. Saw him again in L.A. and took my grown kids-they loved it…and last night played “Cant get it out of my Head” and it is so true. Go if you get a chance-best concerts of my life

My son and I flew out to San Diego from Pennsylvania to see the VetsAid concert and were very happy we did. Jeff did not disappoint. It was my first ELO concert and hopefully not my last. Jeff is a class act.

Jeff Lynne’s ELO is set to embark on the band’s final tour dubbed “The Over and Out Tour”.

This past summer, Jeff Lynne’s ELO embarked on their first extensive North American tour in 35 years. Fans of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame outfit won’t have to wait nearly as long to see them again; ELO just announced a new 20-date swing for summer 2020.

The tour begins July 20th, 2020, at Anaheim, CA’s Honda Center, before making stops in Sacremento, San Jose, Vancouver, Tacoma, and Portland, June 22nd-29th. The tour will then head south to Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, July 3rd, before making stops in Atlanta, Tampa, Sunrise, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, and Neward, July 5th-16th. After hitting Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena, July 18th, the band will wrap up their 20-date tour with Midwest stops in Detroit, Grand Rapids, St. Paul, Chicago, Columbus, and Pittsburgh, July 20th-August 1st.

American Express card member can purchase tickets before the general public beginning this Wednesday, October 24th at 10 a.m. local time, through Sunday, October 28th at 10 p.m. local time. General tickets will be available to the public on Monday, October 29th at 10 a.m.

Jeff Lynne’s ELO will bring the Over and Out Tour, their final tour, to Footprint Center in downtown Phoenix on Monday, Oct. 21.

Lynne disbanded Electric Light Orchestra, an iconic British band whose most beloved US hits include "Can't Get It Out of My Head," "Evil Woman," "Strange Magic," "Livin' Thing," "Do Ya" and "Telephone Line," in 1986.

He reunited with keyboardist Richard Tandy in 2014 for a concert at London's Hyde Park that sold 50,000 tickets in 15 minutes as Jeff Lynne’s ELO.

In 2016, Jeff Lynne’s ELO won Band of the Year at the Classic Rock Roll of Honour Award.

In 2017, Electric Light Orchestra was inducted to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Jeff Lynne's ELO have released two studio albums, 2015's "Alone in the Universe" and 2019's "From Out of Nowhere."

Lynne’s North American tour in 2019 delighted massive crowds and drew widespread critical acclaim.

Variety wrote, "The ELO catalog speaks for itself… and it was a glorious thing to behold… in a 19-song set that reprised the closest thing to truly Beatle-level pop the 1970s had to offer.”

LA Weekly wrote, “Jeff Lynne’s ELO prove that spacy pop rock is still a livin’ thing… one of the most flawless and visually stunning arena shows I've seen in a long time. Complete with monstrous lights, lasers and the mandatory ELO spaceship hovering behind the band on video screens, the show was as grand and engrossing as a blockbuster movie — a ’70s blockbuster movie, that is.”

And the Houston Press wrote, “Jeff Lynne’s ELO is practically a religious experience for rock ‘n’ roll disciples.”

Lynne was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2023.
