Today, Latin rock icon and Twenty-Seven-time GRAMMY & LATIN GRAMMY award-winning artist Juanes announced the eagerly awaited February & March 2024 North American dates of his widely praised Vida Cotidiana World Tour. The powerful rock guitar-driven tour will be both an immersive journey through the career greatest hits of the Colombian superstar, combined with show-stopping live renditions from the artist’s landmark 11th studio album- just re-released in a new extended/deluxe edition .

Produced by Live Nation, the 27-date North American tour run will kick off February 13th in Portland, OR, and travel across the continent to a March 30th finale in Hollywood, FL. Along the way, the tour will reconnect Juanes with his passionate fans in cities such as Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas, Chicago, Montreal, Toronto, Houston, Dallas, Boston, and many more – as well as a ‘ Mark the Calendar’ March 14th dat e at Radio City Music Hall in New York – where over 17,000 fans stretched well over the length of a dozen city blocks, turned out at Central Park Summerstage in July hoping to see Juanes’ Vida Cotidiana live show – marking “the first time in 30 years SummerStage was required to stop a concert in progress for a non-weather related issue”.

This also marked  the first-time members of Juanes’ long-time touring band were totally immersed in the album recording, which now brings even an additional level of musical solidarity to the live presentation. INGLEWOOD, CA (November 6, 2023) - Today, Latin rock icon and Twenty-Seven-time GRAMMY & LATIN GRAMMY award-winning artist Juanes announced the eagerly awaited February & March 2024 North American dates of his widely praised Vida Cotidiana World Tour. The powerful rock guitar-driven tour will be both an immersive journey through the career greatest hits of the Colombian superstar, combined with show-stopping live renditions from the artist's landmark 11th studio album- just re-released in a new extended/deluxe edition .

Produced by Live Nation, the 27-date North American tour run will kick off February 13th in Portland, OR, and travel across the continent to a March 30th finale in Hollywood, FL. Along the way, the tour will reconnect Juanes with his passionate fans in cities such as Los Angeles, where he will return to play YouTube Theater at Hollywood Park on Friday, February 23rd.

Juanes Announces U.S. Dates for Vida Cotidiana World Tour 2024

Juanes will perform concerts across the U.S. next year. Today (Nov. 6), the Colombian icon announced the dates for his 2024 Vida Cotidiana World Tour .

Back in May, Juanes returned to music with his album Vida Cotidiana . While returning to his rock roots, he also opened up about difficult moments in his personal life. The song “ Gris ” was inspired by a few arguments during the COVID-19 quarantine period between himself and his wife Cecilia. Fortunately, they worked through those issues, and Juanes later recorded the love song “Cecilia” in her honor, which featured Juan Luis Guerra.

“I was afraid to share some things of my life, but now I’m not afraid,” Juanes told Remezcla in May. “I just feel better when I’m writing about the things that are happening to me. I realize that they are probably the same things that happen to you. I found that music became a filter for me. I put all these feelings through a filter of music, and they became songs and helped me to cure my soul.”

Juanes will embark on the North American leg of his Vida Cotidiana World Tour next year. The first show will kick off on Feb. 13, 2024, at the Roseland Theatre in Portland, OR. Throughout February and March, Juanes will perform concerts in major cities like Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York, Houston, Atlanta, and Tampa. That tour will wrap up on March 30, 2024, at Hard Rock Live in Miami, FL.

“I feel this has already become my artistically strongest and most enjoyable tour,” he added in a statement. “We are genuinely looking forward to kicking some a** across North American stages early next year… and we know how!”

Tickets for the tour will go on sale to the general public on Thursday, Nov. 9, at 10 a.m. local time. Juanes will also perform at the Latin Grammy Awards next week. The ceremony will air on Univision on Nov. 16.

Vida Cotidiana is built upon a fusion of Juanes early rock and folkloric influences, with the introspective examination of a matured, master songwriter delving deep into a thoughtful adult’s “Day to Day Life” concerns – ranging from evolving perspectives on love, marriage and family, to his country and community. This also marked the first time members of Juanes’ long-time touring band were totally immersed in the album recording, which now brings even an additional level of musical solidarity to the live presentation. The resulting collaborative work unquestionably delivered a new creative pinnacle in Juanes’ distinguished career . Vida Contidiana ‘s recent recognition by members of the Latin Recording Academy has also led to multiple nominations– including Album of the Year, Best Pop/Rock Album and Best Rock Song, and another performance invitation for the November 16th global broadcast of The Latin Grammy Awards.

Juanes, the esteemed maestro of Latin rock and a recipient of an impressive 27 GRAMMY and LATIN GRAMMY awards, has officially announced the extension of his critically acclaimed "Vida Cotidiana" World Tour to North America in February and March of 2024. The celebrated Colombian superstar is set to dazzle fans with his renowned guitar-driven performances, delivering an immersive journey through his greatest hits and powerful live renditions from his eleventh and iconic album, recently reissued in a deluxe edition.

The North American leg of the tour, produced by the illustrious Live Nation, is slated to encompass 27 dates. The journey begins on February 13 in Portland, Oregon, sweeping across the continent before culminating in Miami, Florida, on March 30. Juanes is primed to reconnect with his dedicated fans in prominent cities including Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas, Chicago, Montreal, Toronto, Houston, Dallas, Boston, and many others. A special highlight includes a performance at New York's Radio City Music Hall on March 14, a city that saw over 17,000 fans gather at the Central Park SummerStage last July — an event that marked the first non-weather-related concert stoppage in the venue's 30-year history.

"Vida Cotidiana" harks back to the rock and folkloric influences that Juanes explored at the onset of his career. It's an introspective work of a mature and skilled songwriter contemplating the nuances of 'everyday life' — from evolving perspectives on love, marriage, and family to thoughts about his country and community. This tour marks the first time Juanes’s live band has been fully integrated into the album's recording, adding an unprecedented layer of musical solidarity to the live performances. This collaborative effort has been touted as a new creative zenith in Juanes's illustrious career, with NPR, Billboard, and Rolling Stone hailing 'Vida Cotidiana' as his "best album to date, the deepest and most personal" and one of the "Best Latin Music Albums of 2023." Juanes arrived in U.S. as Latin music was rising. Now he’s riding another wave.

Juanes didn’t know Latin music would explode when he moved to Miami in 1996, electric guitar in tow. The Colombian-born singer would hear Ricky Martin, Juan Gabriel, Julio Iglesias and, less often, Maná as Spanish-language music played on the radio. Three years later, American media outlets proclaimed an “explosion” in Latin American and Latinx culture in the United States, with Shakira, Jennifer Lopez and Martin at the forefront.

“There was a moment of transcendental change in music,” Juanes recalled.

From the very beginning of his solo career, Juanes, whose full name is Juan Esteban Aristizábal Vásquez, has positioned himself right in the center of what is big in Latin music. Like his early-aughts contemporaries, he would dedicate the next decade of his career to hits that toed the line between commercially viable pop and the rock stylings of his heavy-metal origins. Now-classic songs such as “La Camisa Negra,” “A Dios Le Pido” and “Fotografía” (with Nelly Furtado) made him a driving force in the Rock en Español movement of the early 2000s.

More than 20 years since his critically acclaimed debut album, “Fíjate Bien” (“Look Closely”), Juanes is a Spanish-language pop and rock icon with more than 15 million records sold sales worldwide and two dozen Latin Grammys.

U.S. consumers have again wakened up to Spanish-language music out of Latin America: Bad Bunny was the most-streamed artist in 2022 for the third year in a row. Shakira is having a renaissance. Reggaeton is ubiquitous.

“Today, it’s crazy, no? You hear a lot of reggaeton, but people listen to everything,” Juanes said. Recent collaborations between Drake with Bad Bunny and Metallica with J Balvin have the singer “very excited by what happens in music nowadays.”

When we speak, Juanes is in the red-carpeted studio of his Miami house, surrounded by his guitars. He had just returned from his native Medellín, Colombia, where, he tells me in Spanish, he was able to reconnect with “what I am, with the essence.” It’s this essence that he taps into on the new album, a return to the early days of his career. “Vida Cotidiana” (“Daily Life”), the rocker’s first album of original music in four years, sees him put “instruments played by people” — drums, bass and his beloved guitar — back at the forefront.

After years of experimenting with his sound, drawing freely from a variety of influences from hip-hop and reggaeton, he felt he had hit a “limit.” The pandemic-induced break from decades of touring, where he would spend only about a month at home at a time, gave him the space to write music freely and without “established codes,” he said.

Though Juanes has 10 studio albums under his belt, his latest is the most thematically and sonically tied to his early work. It also shows his evolution. The new album — which features collaborations with legend Juan Luis Guerra and young Latin American artists such as Colombian rapper Mabiland — is more introspective and measured. Songs such as “Gris” and “Más” show off his renewed rock roots, complete with soaring guitars and funky bass lines, while the sweeping “Mayo,” a response to the 2021 protests in Colombia, adds to the artist’s long tradition of socially conscious writing.

The decision to return to his roots took years, he said, but was driven by a “need to return to a place in which I felt a lot more comfortable, not just to be comfortable but to feel natural and authentic.”

Now, the tour in support of “Vida Cotidiana” will see Juanes hitting nine spots across the United States, Latin America and Europe over three months.

On Friday, he’ll have his “Vida Cotidiana” debut at Wolf Trap in Northern Virginia, which he calls “one of my favorite venues.” “I’m very, very excited,” he said. “I’m so excited that I don’t want to get too excited for fear something will go wrong.”

Last month, New York authorities cut short Juanes’s performance at New York’s SummerStage after about 17,000 people showed up and overwhelmed the 5,000-person Central Park venue.

“It was a really weird surprise,” he said. “Sad because I couldn’t play, but at the same time it gave me the certainty that people were interested in seeing music like mine.”

Juanes’ “Vida Cotidiana World Tour” at Coca Cola Roxy, Atlanta, GA

Juanes, the Colombian superstar, brought his electrifying “Vida Cotidiana World Tour” to Atlanta, Georgia, lighting up the stage at the Coca Cola Roxy. From the moment the lights dimmed and the fog rolled in, it was evident that this night would be nothing short of magical.

The stage design, while simple, proved to be incredibly effective. A massive LED screen served as the backdrop, providing a canvas for stunning visuals that perfectly complemented Juanes’ performance. Flanking the stage were two sections featuring huge video monitors, ensuring that every fan had a clear view of the star throughout the show.

As Juanes and his live band took to the stage, the anticipation in the air was felt throughout the venue. The audience, in awe of the moment, remained seated as Juanes kicked off the evening with the hauntingly beautiful “Gris” from his latest album, “Vida Cotidiana”. His vocals soared effortlessly, captivating every soul in the venue.

Juanes is heading out on tour, and you don’t want to miss seeing him live.

The Colombian musician will be heading out on his North American tour beginning on Feb. 13 in Portland, Ore. and will wrap up on March 30 in Hollywood, Fla .

While on tour, the singer will perform at Radio City Music Hall on March 14 .

“We are genuinely looking forward to kicking some ass across North American stages early next year.. and we know how!” Juanes said in a statement.

Juanes is set to perform at the Latin Grammy Awards on Nov. 16, where his nominated for a multitude of awards including Album Of The Year for “Vida Cotidiana.”

Tickets to see Juanes live go on sale to the public on Nov. 9 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster .

Fans can also look for tickets on secondary market websites such as StubHub , Vivid Seats and TicketNetwork .

SAN ANTONIO - Latin rock icon Juanes announced Monday that he's returning to San Antonio for his World Tour.

The 27-time Grammy Award winner is bringing his much-anticipated Vida Cotidiana World Tour to the Aztec Theater on March 22, 2024.

“I feel this has already become my artistically strongest and most enjoyable tour. Having begun this creative cycle with all my core band members taking part in the recording process has brought extra levels of musical cohesion and sheer joy of playing to the stage, and the audiences have sensed this and joined us in the celebrations. We are genuinely looking forward to kicking some ass across North American stages early next year.. and we know how!”, explains a smiling Juanes

The Columbian superstar says that this rock guitar-driven tour will be an immersive journey through his greatest hits, but will also combine show-stopping live renditions from his latest album "Vida Cotidiana," which was recently released in a new extended/deluxe edition.

Juanes has sold more than 15 million albums worldwide and is known for the massive hits "Fíjate Bien," "A Dios le Pido," "Es Por Ti," and "Nada Valgo Sin Tu Amor."

Tickets on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday.

Latin rock artist Juanes to make 2024 stop in Las Vegas as part of new tour

Las Vegas (KSNV) — A Latin music icon is heading on the road, making a return to the Las Vegas valley early next year.

Juanes announced the new North American dates as part of his Vida Cotidiana World Tour, which will arrive at the Pearl Concert Theater inside the Palms Casino Resort on Saturday, February 24, 2024. The 27-date leg of the tour is set to begin on February 13 in Portland, Oregon, and end on March 27 in Tampa, Florida, visiting a number of cities in California, Arizona, Texas, and more.

The rock guitar-driven tour is said to be both an immersive journey through the career greatest hits of the Colombian superstar, combined with show-stopping live renditions from the artist's landmark 11th studio album.

Tickets start at $59.95, not including applicable service charges or fees, and go on sale to the public on Thursday, November 9 at 10 a.m. on Ticketmaster.

Citi card members will have access to presale tickets beginning Tuesday, November 7 at 10 a.m. PT until Wednesday, November 8 at 11:59 p.m. through the Citi Entertainment program.

Additionally, Club Serrano members, Live Nation, and Pearl Concert Theater customers will receive access to a presale running Wednesday, November 8 from 10 a.m. until 11:59 p.m.
