La frequentavo come pendolare da Genova durante gli anni dell’Università e il 99% delle volte che arrivavo in città per dare un esame il meteo era pessimo. Ogni volta, però, che decidevo di fermarmi per visitare una mostra o un museo rimanevo affascinata da quante bellezze in realtà custodisse.

Le cose da fare e vedere a Torino sono davvero tantissime e un tour classico della città può certamente aiutarti a scoprirle se è la prima volta che la visiti o se hai poco tempo a disposizione .

In questo modo, infatti, avrai l’opportunità di fermarti ad ammirare i luoghi più celebri e importanti e di scoprirne la storia grazie a una guida esperta.

Si parte da Piazza Castello, dove si affacciano Palazzo Madama , Palazzo Reale e la magnifica Chiesa di San Lorenzo . Poi si prosegue con la visita al Duomo , che custodisce la Sacra Sindone e con l’ Area Archeologica del Teatro Romano . Il tour classico di Torino prosegue con una sosta in Piazza San Carlo e poi in Piazza Carignano per ammirare l’omonimo palazzo, sede del primo Parlamento d’Italia.

Infine, dopo aver attraversato Piazza Castello e Via Po , arriverai alla celebre Mole Antonelliana .

3. Tour di Torino con l’autobus turistico

Se non ami particolarmente camminare o se sei con dei bimbi piccoli, potresti valutare l’idea di scoprire Torino grazie a un autobus turistico . Durante la bella stagione potresti salire al secondo piano e goderti anche una vista privilegiata dall’alto!

Il tour di Torino con l’autobus turistico prevede 35 fermate nei luoghi di maggior interesse della città . Il biglietto è valido per 24 ore e in questo tempo potrai scendere e salire sul bus tutte le volte che desideri. In questo modo avrai il tempo, ad esempio, di visitare un museo e poi riprendere il bus e continuare il giro. Non è un’idea bellissima?

Esistono due linee di questo tipo di bus: la linea rossa viaggia tutto l’anno e si muove tra a Piazza Castello, Corso Lanza e il Duomo; la linea blu , invece, è attiva da aprile a ottobre e raggiunge anche il Museo dell’Automobile, via Nizza e Corso Castelfiardo.

4. Linea 7 storica

Questo è uno dei tour di Torino più caratteristici . Se ami il vintage e vuoi vivere un’esperienza unica capace di riportarti indietro nel tempo, tra la fine dell’Ottocento e i primi del Novecento , allora devi salire sulla Linea 7 storica del Gruppo Torinese Trasporti .

La linea fu inaugurata nel 1893 e faceva capolinea in Piazza Statuto. Il percorso attraversava i grandi viali torinesi passando davanti ad alcuni dei luoghi simbolo di Torino.

Oggi il percorso è sempre lo stesso, manca solo Piazza Solferino dove non esistono più i binari per il tram. Salendo sulla Linea 7 avrai modo di ammirare la Gran Madre, Piazza Vittorio, Via Po, Piazza Castello e Corso Vittorio Emanuele.

Le vetture sono quelle originali degli anni Trenta e Cinquanta che sono state restaurate utilizzando le parti originali.

Il prezzo è di 1,70 € , come per qualsiasi autobus dei trasporti pubblici locali. Una bellissima occasione per un tour a basso costo, ma di certo indimenticabile.

Questi palazzi furono progettati dai più importanti esponenti dell’Art Nouveau italiano, stile chiamato spesso anche con il nome di Liberty , che prese piede a partire dal 1902 dopo l’Esposizione Internazionale Decorativa Moderna.

GREAT WAY TO SEE TURIN WITH FAMILY

We had an excellent guide in Francesco when we did this bike tour on April 1st 2019. We were one adult and two boys aged 12 and 13. The tour was conducted with style and good humour by Francesco and allowed good time at many stops around the centre and lots of interesting information about the history and development of Turin. It is an excellent way to be introduced to the centre and then plan to return to specific places to explore further. It was a lovely clear morning and the cycling was all very managable for children of this age. Close to the station and easy to leave things you dont need on the ride but want for the rest of the day. Great fun and educational.

A SUPER ACTIVITY

We booked this late the night before and were met the next day by Giulia who gave us a great tour. She was educated in history and really knew Turin. Even the harder questions she had answers for. We went over most of Turin’s major sites and got all the history. Being on bike we did a lot more than walking. Bikes were well maintained and newer. A fabulous way to see Turin which is flat for biking and interesting.

BEST WAY TO SEE THE REAL TURIN!

This tour was the perfect way to see all the hidden gems of Turin and learn about the local culture, the history and the future of this city. Our guide, Marco, was amazing and answered all of our questions and knew everything about the city. The bikes are easy to ride for beginners and the city itself is very bike-friendly with bike lanes and big pedestrian areas to cycle in. Loved it!!
