Great escape
Scoot City Tours may have been the best money we spent in Vegas. After a couple days of all things artificial, it was nice to have a day of natural beauty with a guy as genuine and affable as John. It was super convenient - especially for visitors without rental cars - and we were picked up and returned right to the door of our hotel. Red Rock Canyon is beautiful with lots of terrific photo opps. And the scooters! Just fun, fun, fun. Very easy to handle and can't help but put you in a vacation state of mind. One tip: dress for the mountains. In April, it got chilly and windy up in the canyon and we wished we would have brought jackets to put over our sweatshirts.
Just came back from Vegas and the Scoot City Tour was definitely one of the highlights! My boys, 16,13 and 8 loved it. What a great way to see the canyon while driving your very own scooter. Highly recommend it for all ages.
This was great fun, especially with a group of friends. But if you go in the spring bring a sweater, it was cool in the AM. The scenery is beautiful and the scooters and driving them and really being out in the nature was so fun.
The tour was awesome. At first we thought it seemed pricy, but we quickly realized it was about the same price as a show on the strip. The scooters were a blast, and the views were breathtaking. A must try for any Vegas trip!
My fiancé and I went on the Scoot City Tour of Red Rock Canyon while vacationing in Las Vegas this past week. We opted for the 8 AM to noon tour on Saturday. John called to confirm our pick up location and time the day before. We were promptly picked up at a convenient location inside our hotel (we were also dropped off on time!). We were the 1st pick up so as we picked up other people John told us about the hotels and different things about Vegas. It was pretty chilly that morning so John had extra sweatshirts in case people forgot theirs. We didn't, but another guy was VERY happy to borrow a sweatshirt. When we had everyone in the group we traveled to where the scooters are kept and met up with our other guide Mike (? sorry! I think it was Mike!). The two gave us an overview of the scooters and the tour we were about to take. We rode on the main road through Summerlin to Red Rock Canyon with guides at both ends. It was VERY cool to be driving on the road with our scooters - don't worry we were told they're legal to drive on the street. Once in the Canyon we made a bunch of stops. On certain stops we were able to climb up/down to get better views. Everyone, including our guides, took turns taking pictures of each other with the Canyon. The guides also came around to help start/stop the scooters, but by the end we were able to do it on our own :) It was a really fun easygoing trip. The views in the Canyon were amazing. It was a really great escape from the can-be chaos of Las Vegas. The scooters were SO fun to drive AND very easy. I am not the most coordinated person and had no trouble at all driving. I already have and would certainly recommend this trip to a friend!! Thank you for a great adventure! Check out the pictures!!
Forget the bus and get in one of Johnny's scooters!.This the way to see Red Rock Canyon..We really feel we got in on the ground floor of an new Vegas experience! Thanks Johnny for a great day......we had a blast!! Sparky's friends from Ghent...........Popcorn!
