The night staff are incredibly rude. The ladies room was disgusting and smelled like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks.
On occasion I have reason to stop for a meal or a break and I always choose the T/A at Youngstown when traveling through the area. Not far from the Ohio Turnpike along I-80, this location is fondly remembered by many truckers as the old Youngstown 76 Truck Stop. On a recent trip this past summer, I dined in the spacious restaurant & Cassy was my cheerful server. After looking over the menu, I had the chipped beef breakfast for lunch. Oh, and raspberry lemonade - pretty good stuff. The food came out in good time, it was delicious, and my service was attentive. Their facilities here are well-maintained, although they have been here for a number of years. Besides the fuel pumps, they have a service facility that can handle most items on a truck needing repair. Otherwise, a couple truck dealerships at the same freeway exit are capable of handling any repair that may come along. They have a good-sized convenience store, also stocking various items of trucker interest. Restrooms, showers, & trucker lounge, point to the the emphasis on supporting the hundreds of professional drivers that pass through their doors on a daily basis. The truck parking lot can get full early on in the evening, and that is a detractor. Otherwise, a great place to take a break when in the area. Open 24/7.
This place is very spacious with many different food outlets that are satisfying to the sight. Definitely a great place to stop by on a long drive, especially with a large group like the one I am in. The people here are very friendly and patient with us as we ordered food or bought merchandise. There are also outlets at every table for you to be able to charge any electronic device as well.
