Comedian Kicks Off World Tour By Visiting 28 Cities Across The United States

Tickets on sale to the general public starting nov. 18 at 11 am local time at livenation.com.

After the success of an extensive world tour in 2022, comedian Trevor Noah is heading back on the road with his 2023 Off The Record Tour. Produced by Live Nation, the world tour kicks off with its U.S. leg on January 20, 2023 at Fox Theatre in Atlanta, GA making stops across the U.S. in Austin, New Orleans, New York, and more. International dates to be announced soon. 

In addition, Trevor Noah returns to Netflix with another original comedy special, I Wish You Would , premiering globally on November 22, 2022. True to form, Trevor hilariously shares revelations about learning to speak German, modern communication, and his love for curry.

Comedian Trevor Noah to make India laugh this September on his Off The Record tour

From pop culture to politics – there’s nary a subject Trevor Noah hasn’t quipped about. The Emmy and Peabody Award-winning comedian – best known as the former host of The Tonight Show – is set to bring this signature sense of humour to India as a part of the Asia leg of his ‘Off The Record’ tour. On the itinerary are seven gigs across Delhi NCR, Bangalore, and Mumbai. Here’s how you can get a front-row seat to the show.

If there’s a witty take on a cultural phenomenon doing the rounds on social media , chances are it’s by Trevor Noah. One of the most popular names in comedy – the South African humorist has produced and starred in about 12 specials, sold out stand-up shows, and written books that flew off the shelves. Needless to say, he’s entertained an entire generation of viewers. Fans across continents have had the opportunity of seeing him in action through his ‘Off The Record’ tour, which kicked off on 20 January 2023 in Atlanta. An exciting pitstop? India – with arenas established across major cities from September through October.

Trevor Noah’s India tour includes Delhi NCR, Bangalore, and Mumbai

Noah’s time in India is courtesy of BookMyShow Live, Black Dog Soda, and Kotak White Credit Card and will mark the kick off of the Asia leg of his tour. Here’s a look at the schedule of his satirical shows:

• Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium, Delhi NCR: 22 – 24 September
• Manpho Convention Centre, Bangalore: 27 – 28 September
• NSCI Dome, Mumbai: 30 September – 1 October

Post this, he’s slated to head to Dubai. This isn’t Noah’s first rodeo in India, with the comedian often using bits of his experiences travelling across the country to fuel his sets. He has also – on multiple occasions – alluded to his love for Indian food.

Most recently, this included a bit in his show I Wish You Would , where he spoke about ordering it in Scotland. “I love Indian food. Loved it my whole life,” he said. “I always try and find the most authentic Indian restaurant I can find..What I’ll do is I’ll go to a place, and then I’ll ask around. I’ll ask people, like, “Where do you go?” Then like, where the white people tell me, I don’t go there,” he joked.

Reflecting on his upcoming shows in the country he stated, “After a lifetime of loving India’s culture, I’m so excited to finally have the privilege of bringing my current stand-up comedy tour to one of the most exciting countries in the world!”

Trevor Noah’s Off the Record comedy tour coming to Dubai

Comedian, writer and former The Daily Show host Trevor Noah is bringing his Off the Record tour to Dubai.

The Emmy Award-winning comedian will perform a satirical set, exploring pressing global issues on stage on October 3 at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai.

In September last year, Noah surprised his fans by announcing that after seven years he would be leaving The Daily Show , the late-night programme that made him famous internationally.

It's something that I never expected, and I found myself thinking throughout the time, everything we've gone through – the Trump presidency, the pandemic, just the journey, the more pandemic,” Noah said.

“And I realised that after these seven years, my time is up. But in the most beautiful way, honestly.”

Noah’s last episode as host on The Daily Show was on December 8, making Off the Record, launched in Atlanta, US, in January, the first project the comedian has undertaken since his departure.

Noah was also in the UAE in October last year, where he attended the Culture Summit at Abu Dhabi’s Manarat Al Saadiyat. There, he discussed issues surrounding identity, his plans after The Daily Show and his thoughts on the UAE.

“I’ve always enjoyed coming out here,” he said at the event.

“After many, many years, I’ve loved seeing a place take its identity, shape and grow over time. Try to reimagine what that identity means. Think about how that identity is impacted by the past and will shape the future.”

Tickets for Off the Record will go on sale on Friday at 12pm and cost between Dh295 and Dh495. More information is at www.livenation.me

Trevor Noah isn’t taking his time moving on from The Daily Show. The comedian and host will embark on a 28-city North American stand-up tour, a run billed as Off the Record , beginning in January 2023 — just over a month after his final appearance as host on the Comedy Central show.

The Off the Record tour will kick off on Jan. 20 in Atlanta. Noah will make stops in Louisville, Baltimore, Austin, Memphis, Nashville, New Orleans, Richmond, Phoenix, Detroit, Chicago, and more cities. He will spend six total nights at The Wilbur in Boston, three at New York’s Beacon Theatre, and four at The Masonic in San Francisco.

Trevor Noah Announces 2023 “Off the Record” Tour 

Famous for his sold out stand-up comedy shows over 5 continents, Trevor Noah is planning for a world tour titled “Off The Record Tour” whose US leg starts on January 20, 2023 at Fox Theatre in Atlanta, GA. Tickets went on sale to see the comic and Daily Show host November 18.

The comedian will perform in 28 cities across US, making stops in Baltimore, Denver, Boston, Indianapolis, New York, Chicago and so on, before closing the tour at The Masonic, San Francisco, CA on December 3, 2023.

“I am excited to announce my 2023 Off The Record Tour, with the first dates kicking off in the US!” he shared on his Twitter account.

The tour announcement came ahead of Noah’s Netflix special I Wish You Would which is going to premiere globally on Tuesday, November 22, 2022. It features his experiences about learning German, modern communication, and his love for curry.

About one and a half month ago, the comedian said he would be leaving The Daily Show that he has been hosting since 2015. “I’ve loved hosting the show, it’s been one of my greatest challenges, it’s been one of my greatest joys,” he said.

He explained that his choice was partly spurred by wanting to travel more to do live comedy, particularly after hosting the show from his New York apartment during COVID-19 quarantine.

“I realized there was another part of my life that I wanted to carry on exploring. I miss learning other languages, I miss going to other countries and putting on shows,” he said.

Now, with this latest announcement, it seems that his wishes come true.

Trevor Noah To Tour India

MUMBAI, (IANS) – Comic artiste Trevor Noah is all set to come to India with his ‘Off The Record Tour’ kicking off his Asia tour.

Noah said: “After a lifetime of loving India’s culture, I’m so excited to finally have the privilege of bringing my current stand-up comedy tour to one of the most exciting countries in the world!”

Noah will perform live across seven shows at the India leg of the ‘Off The Record’ Tour, to be held at Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium, Delhi-NCR on September 22-24 followed by Manpho Convention Centre, Bengaluru on September 27 and 28 and finally at the NSCI Dome, Mumbai on September 30 and October 1, 2023.

With sold out-shows through US and Europe between 2022 and 2023, Trevor’s ‘Off The Record’ Tour will travel to Asia, with its first pit stop in India, followed by Dubai.

Noah was the host of The Daily Show. He has won various awards, including a Primetime Emmy Award from 11 nominations. He was named one of “The 35 Most Powerful People in New York Media” by The Hollywood Reporter in 2017 and 2018.

Born in Johannesburg, Noah began his career in South Africa in 2002.

Trevor Noah announces 2023 Off the Record Tour

Trevor Noah is building on the success of his extensive 2022 world tour by announcing that he is heading back out on the road in 2023.

The 2023 edition of the Off the Record Tour, produced by Live Nation, kicks off on January 20 in Atlanta, GA. Boston, Austin, and Nashville are among the other great cities where Noah will be performing. He will be in Chicago for a pair of shows at the Chicago Theatre on Nov. 13-14 and this round of dates will conclude on Dec. 3, 2023 in San Francisco.

Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning on Friday, Nov. 18 at 11 a.m. local time.

Along with announcing new tour dates, Noah has also revealed that his latest special, I Wish You Would , is set to premiere on Netflix on Nov. 22, 2022.

Trevor Noah is stepping out from behind the “Daily Show” desk and back onto the stage.

In 2023, the comic, talk show/award show host and author is embarking on his 45-show “Off The Record Tour” that will take him to Theatres, Palaces and Performing Arts Centers all over North America.

That includes three back-to-back performances at New York City’s Beacon Theatre on Oct. 9 , Oct. 10 and Oct. 11 .

On Tuesday, Nov. 29, Noah will host a post-show talkback of the Tony Award-winning musical “A Strange Loop” as part of NYC Black Theatre Night.

In late September, photos of Noah with the three-time Grammy winner surfaced on Twitter .

After being announced as the successor to Jon Stewart as “The Daily Show” host in 2015, Noah released his humorous autobiography “Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood,” which quickly became a New York Times Bestseller.

“Born a Crime” tells the story of Noah growing up in South Africa midway through the apartheid era, which made his mixed race status— he was born to a white Swiss-German father and Black Xhosa mother— a crime.

He’ll begin the next month at Memphis’ Orpheum Theatre on May 4th and Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium on May 5th, followed by sets in Indianapolis; New Orleans; and Schenectady, New York. He closes May in Mashantucket, Connecticut and plays his final summer show in Santa Barbara on June 2nd.

Trevor Noah resumes his 2023 trek in Richmond, Virginia on October 6th. He’ll headline three nights at New York’s Beacon Theatre from October 9th to 11th, then head west to Phoenix on October 20th. He closes October in Detroit, then opens in Madison, Wisconsin on November 1st. He hangs in the Midwest for stops in Milwaukee, Minneapolis, and Chicago for two shows on November 13th and 14th. The “Off the Record Tour” wraps with four dates at The Masonic in San Francisco from November 30th to December 3rd.

This event has passed, comedian and former host of the daily show is back with his biggest tour ever.

After the success of an extensive world tour in 2022, comedian Trevor Noah is heading back on the road with his 2023 Off The Record Tour. Comedian kicks off world tour by visiting 28 cities across the United States including stops in Durham, NC at DPAC on March 24, March 25, March 26, and March 27, 2023.

In addition, Trevor Noah returned to Netflix with another original comedy special, I Wish You Would , which premiered globally on November 22, 2022. True to form, Trevor hilariously shares revelations about learning to speak German, modern communication, and his love for curry.

Trevor Noah is the most successful comedian in Africa and was the host of the Emmy® Award-winning “The Daily Show” on Comedy Central. Under Trevor, “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah” broke free from the restraints of a 30-minute linear show, producing engaging social content, award-winning digital series, podcasts, and more for its global audience. Last year, “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah” landed a record number of seven Emmy Award nominations.

Trevor has written, produced, and starred in 12 comedy specials, including, “I Wish You Would,” for Netflix. His previous special, “Trevor Noah: Son Of Patricia” received a NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Variety Show, as well as a Grammy Award nomination.

For many concert, comedy, and special events at DPAC, we offer added views of the stage with two big screens (size: 16’ x 9’) hung to the sides of the stage or above the stage. These big screens can add to the visual experience of our concert, comedy, and special events and give guests seated farther from the stage what we like to call “a tenth row view”. Approval to use these screens always rests with the visiting show and about half of all concert and comedy events do use these screens.

Terry Crews Is Still Geeking Out Over His Moment With Taylor Swift

Terry Crews has not calmed down over appearing alongside Taylor Swift during Trevor Noah's opening monologue at the 2024 Grammys .

"Just to be mentioned in the same sentence as Taylor Swift, the most iconic female star of our time right now [is an honor]," Crews, 55, exclusively told Us Weekly on the America's Got Talent season 19 red carpet earlier this week. "Her, Beyoncé . You know, these are literally the names that you could just say, and everybody knows what you're talking about."

Crews was referencing a moment during the February awards show when the camera panned to the actor, who is also a former football player, after Noah made a quip about the attention Swift got during the 2023-2024 NFL season. (Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce have been dating since summer of last year.)

Noah said at the ceremony, "I'm gonna get revenge. Every time someone says Taylor Swift. I'm going to cut the cameras to someone who plays football," before cutting to Crews. Swift, for her part, seemed to approve of the joke, as she could be seen laughing while sitting a few tables away.

Now, Crews considers himself a bonafide Swiftie, even if the AGT host hasn't "heard" from the singer since the awards show. "I want to go to the concert," he told Us , referencing Swift's worldwide Eras Tour , which kicked off in March 2023. "I want to hang out. But I was just honored to be there, sitting amongst all the music greats."

The Brooklyn Nine-Nine alum isn't just a fan of Swift - he's also just as impressed with Noah. "I believe [Trevor] will be hosting Academy Awards very soon," Crews said of the comedian's hosting skills. (The 65th Grammys marked Noah's fourth time as emcee.)

Following the ceremony, Crews wasted no time sharing the moment with his fans. "So this happened last night," he captioned a clip of the monologue via TikTok, before congratulating Swift on taking home Album of the Year for 2022's Midnights . "She makes us feel all the things!"

While the "Anti-Hero" singer is bound to be on any playlist Crews will craft this summer, he's just a giant music fan - and has an arsenal of other artists whose tunes can gear him up for the warmer weather.

"I got a lot of Kendrick Lamar , Flying Lotus, Beyoncé," he told Us , sharing his excitement to put the colder months behind him. "Oh, man, it's so much going on. I can't wait. It's almost time."

Time for warm weather, and time for a new season of America's Got Talent . Crews will return to host season 19, which is set to premiere on NBC in May. Heidi Klum , Sofîa Vergara , Howie Mandel and Simon Cowell will once again serve as judges.

Inside the 2024 Grammy Awards: What You Didn't See on TV

The premiere is still a couple of months away, but Crews is more than ready to get things started, hoping to find the next big talent to add to his playlist. For now, there are plenty of past contestants he can look to when searching for the perfect song of summer.

"Let's see, we had Drake Milligan last year," he said, referencing the season 17 country singer who placed third. "He was down on the charts and [then] all of a sudden, right after he performed [on our show], he was No. 1. This is how [ AGT  does it] - we change the world."

America's Got Talent season 19 premieres on NBC Tuesday, May 28 at 8 p.m. ET.
