We had this as a family trip, a daughter, aged 11, and two adults. We had never visited before, but as soon as we sat down, another woman came in. She accompanied us to the steam room as well. We had booked for the ‘Cleopatra Package’ , and as we got out of the steam room we had a Turkish bath. It was relaxing at first, a woman in a blue T-shirt was doing me, but after that, I kay down on a massage just to find a different woman doing the massage! I have a big red mark on my arm from the scrubbing in the Turkish bath! We had a facial, then they stuffed us in the sauna to finish. This is definitely something that some people would enjoy, but I was not one of them. I came for a relaxing spa treatment, but that’s not exactly what I received. I hope this review helped. Maybe it's because of the rather cold weather, maybe not trying hard enough. It's called fishing not a catching, but still there are more ways to make whole experience enjoyable. The guide will show you how to wrap the scarf around the head. You can rent protective glasses for 40 EGP Test drive was for 5 minutes. Moto ride was about 20 minutes in one way, we stoped for 10 minutes to take some photos and 20 minutes back through the rocky desert. In this excursion there wasn't ride with quad bike to a Bedouin village. The ride to the village was with mini buss - not so exciting. Got some tea in small cups. All in all we sat for about an hour with a little walks around the village. Camel ride was for few minutes in the village. After that we were taken back to the starting point and sat there for more than an hour (in that time we ate lunch). At 6pm was some show. By 7pm we were bach at the hotel. There were several other people sat around waiting, however there was no communication from the merchant regarding what was happening or how the day was going to be run. Eventually there was then an explanation about how to use the quad bikes and we were led out to have a practice. Once we got going the quad biking was good fun and we did enjoy it. Then it all got a bit confusing again! We were led back to a waiting area (Where the toilet facility was disgusting) and we were given some water. After this there was no communication, we were led from here to there without really knowing what was going on. Then after being loaded back into mini vans we set of across the Dessert to another location. After an incident with the driver that was the final straw and we decided we no longer wanted to continue with the day. The incident regarding the driver was dealt with, however we requested to end the experience and be returned to our hotel immediately. The merchant tried to stall us stating that the rest of the group would be leaving in 30 minutes any way, as the purpose there seemed to be just to ride camels, which I didn't want to do, and had I known this before, I would have chosen to wait back at the first location. We were eventually returned to the first location, ahead of the rest of the group, and again they tried to convince us to stay for the BBQ dinner. However based on the state of the toilets, we were not prepared to stay and eat anything that was on offer. We were then driven back to our hotel and cut the experience short by about 2 hours. Arrived and it's a lovely cosy place with the animals all relaxing in the shade. We enjoyed an amazing time our tour guide was chatty and experienced and took wonderful pictures and videos while swimming on the horses and galloping in the desert with a nice rest inbetween. Horses were all well cared for and happy and there were even a few foals around and one decided to come with us when we went to the desert. We even had a little sit on one of the camels. Africantrips were exceptionally helpful - even offering to privately drive us to the boat (at no extra charge) so we could sleep in a little longer (we'd been on the road the day before and needed a rest). The boat trip was superb - friendly, highly professional staff especially the snorkeling instructor. We followed dolphins for maybe an hour, including the opportunity to get in the water with them (be aware that you need to be a strong swimmer). Later there were two opportunities to snorkel at beautiful reefs teaming with underwater life. A plentiful lunch was included, as well as bottled water, coca-cola and nescafe. The boat was comfortable and felt safe. The whole thing was exceptional value at €25 - including pick up and drop off - and I'll definitely use Africantrips again when I next visit Hurgharda. Desert Safari trip

provides a wonderful chance to all our privileged guests to have the real adventure into the Egyptian desert. In the depths of desert there are some Bedouin villages which prepared somehow to receive tourists and guests. These villages still have a strong connection to the natural desert. The Bedouin village has a big and deep well in low place which is the unique source of water. Having a look at this well can prove how their life is simple and natural. In general, during this trip you can walk into the camp and look around to enjoy the Bedouin atmosphere where the mountains are surrounding the place, goats are running around, camels which are representing the means of transportation are guided by a small boy or girl. Your guide will tell you about the life of the Bedouins, their habits and traditions

This trip starts as you will be picked up right at the entrance of your hotel by modern bus to Horus tours quads Station. Once you get into the station you will be orally instructed by a professional guide. Afterwards you will put on your Helmet and directed to your quad to move outside the station to have a training instruction for some minutes to assure that you are efficient to control your bike through the desert to live this exciting experiment.

Note; Transfer is included in all safari trips. 

2 Hours quad Bikes

Pick up time starts at 8:00

Many tourists and guests of Hurghada have been many times to the Bedouin village and they miss having some fast and exciting drives in the desert with quad bikes. If you are one this category you will enjoy the 2 hours trip to drive about 45 min to reach the sand mountain to climb it from the rocky side to ski on the sand. Then you take your bike to come bake the station the same way.

3 Hours quad Bikes

The way going to the Bedouin camp or village takes from 45 min to one hour this trip includes some activities and services which are;

• A wonderful Bedouin tea.
• A camel ride to watch some of the Bedouin tents from the top.

A small bottle of water.

Afterwards, you drive your quad bike to go back to the station, where you find your bus to pick you up back to the hotel.

Sahara park trip has all the activities which you may think to do in the desert, it includes many interesting items which can be clarified in the following elements

Transfer ; transfer starts right at the entrance of your hotel with modern jeeps and taken to the desert

Bedouin village ; the jeeps takes you to the bedouin village where you enjoy visiting the bedouin village., riding a camel into the bedouin village, coming back by jeep and entering the desert park to continue the rest of the day, driving quad bike for 45 min, driving a dune buggy for 20 min, watching the reptiles in their house. where you can see a lot kinds of snakes and reptiles.

Then we will take you by jeep back to your hotel.

Badawiya Hotel Farafra is a traditional mud-brick building with all modern comforts, situated at the entrance to the Farafra Oasis. Our hotel has 12 duplex-style and 8 one-floor rooms all with bathrooms, fans, and mosquito nets. Some of the duplex rooms have beds upstairs to allow you to enjoy the excellent view across the oasis as you wake up.

The rooms at the  Badawiya Farafra Hotel  are a mixture of sophisticated comfort and Bedouin charm. The cool, clean lines are warmed by splashes of color from cushions, traditional rugs, and specially commissioned light fixtures. Soft blankets and crisp cotton sheets ensure a good night’s sleep. Light, bright, and airy, all rooms have a great view over the oasis. The bathrooms are modern and have spacious shower areas. A minibar in each room is stocked with water and soft drinks. Each room provides wireless internet access at an additional charge.

Multi-Function Room

Immediately upon entry the high, vaulted ceiling of the light, bright spacious function room at the  Badawiya Farafra Hotel  draws your attention. Here again, the unusual, hand-made light fixtures are an interesting feature. The room can be fitted with all sorts of audio-visual equipment for conferences and meetings. It is also the perfect space for celebrations, family reunions, weddings, parties, art classes, yoga, and other activities and courses.

Terrace & Restaurant

The terrace outside the restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy your meal or just have a snack and take in the view. Shade is available under the parasols or if you prefer you can top up your tan sitting in the sun. The restaurant itself provides lavish, well-cooked food with organic vegetables from our gardens. Some days there are buffets and some days there is table service. Vegetarians can easily be catered for.

Arrived and it's a lovely cosy place with the animals all relaxing in the shade. We enjoyed an amazing time our tour guide was chatty and experienced and took wonderful pictures and videos while swimming on the horses and galloping in the desert with a nice rest inbetween. Horses were all well cared for and happy and there were even a few foals around and one decided to come with us when we went to the desert. We even had a little sit on one of the camels. Africantrips were exceptionally helpful - even offering to privately drive us to the boat (at no extra charge) so we could sleep in a little longer (we'd been on the road the day before and needed a rest). The boat trip was superb - friendly, highly professional staff especially the snorkeling instructor. We followed dolphins for maybe an hour, including the opportunity to get in the water with them (be aware that you need to be a strong swimmer). Later there were two opportunities to snorkel at beautiful reefs teaming with underwater life. A plentiful lunch was included, as well as bottled water, coca-cola and nescafe. The boat was comfortable and felt safe. The whole thing was exceptional value at €25 - including pick up and drop off - and I'll definitely use Africantrips again when I next visit Hurgharda. We had this as a family trip, a daughter, aged 11, and two adults. We had never visited before, but as soon as we sat down, another woman came in. She accompanied us to the steam room as well. We had booked for the ‘Cleopatra Package’ , and as we got out of the steam room we had a Turkish bath. It was relaxing at first, a woman in a blue T-shirt was doing me, but after that, I kay down on a massage just to find a different woman doing the massage! I have a big red mark on my arm from the scrubbing in the Turkish bath! We had a facial, then they stuffed us in the sauna to finish. This is definitely something that some people would enjoy, but I was not one of them. I came for a relaxing spa treatment, but that’s not exactly what I received. I hope this review helped. Maybe it's because of the rather cold weather, maybe not trying hard enough. It's called fishing not a catching, but still there are more ways to make whole experience enjoyable. The guide will show you how to wrap the scarf around the head. You can rent protective glasses for 40 EGP Test drive was for 5 minutes. Moto ride was about 20 minutes in one way, we stoped for 10 minutes to take some photos and 20 minutes back through the rocky desert. In this excursion there wasn't ride with quad bike to a Bedouin village. The ride to the village was with mini buss - not so exciting. Got some tea in small cups. All in all we sat for about an hour with a little walks around the village. Camel ride was for few minutes in the village. After that we were taken back to the starting point and sat there for more than an hour (in that time we ate lunch). At 6pm was some show. By 7pm we were bach at the hotel. There were several other people sat around waiting, however there was no communication from the merchant regarding what was happening or how the day was going to be run. Eventually there was then an explanation about how to use the quad bikes and we were led out to have a practice. Once we got going the quad biking was good fun and we did enjoy it. Then it all got a bit confusing again! We were led back to a waiting area (Where the toilet facility was disgusting) and we were given some water. After this there was no communication, we were led from here to there without really knowing what was going on. Then after being loaded back into mini vans we set of across the Dessert to another location. After an incident with the driver that was the final straw and we decided we no longer wanted to continue with the day. The incident regarding the driver was dealt with, however we requested to end the experience and be returned to our hotel immediately. The merchant tried to stall us stating that the rest of the group would be leaving in 30 minutes any way, as the purpose there seemed to be just to ride camels, which I didn't want to do, and had I known this before, I would have chosen to wait back at the first location.
