EU Citizens must obtain an electronic entry permit (ETA) before traveling to Canada.

Tourist visa for EU citizens (ETA):

•  Processing: 1-2 working days
•  ETA cost: 25 EUR

Required documents (ETA):

•  Passport (copy/scan);
•  Visa application.

If you are not eligible  for an ETA you must obtain a visa to Canada before traveling!

Tourist visa for Canada:

• Visa processing time: ~ 30 - 90 days 
• Visa fee:  450 EUR (visa fee, filling out an application form, biometric enrollment fee, preparing a package of documents to submit etc.)

Please note: In most cases, with a positive decision on a visa, there are additional costs (fee for the services of the Canadian Visa Application Center in Warsaw, payment for a courier service for delivering a passport, etc.).

If you have to enroll your biometrics, please note that you will have to travel to a BIOMETRIC ENROLLMENT center ( there is no biometric center in Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia ), for example, the closest one to Latvia, where you can enroll is: Sweden, Helsinki, Poland, Germany etc.

Tourism visa required documents:

• Passport + a scanned copy of the passport + scanned all pages of the passport that have any marks (visas, border crossing stamps, etc.)
• Full copy of the previous passport (if you have it)
• Residence permit card  (if you have it)
• Visa application (to be completed by the agency)
• “Family” questionnaire application (to be completed by the agency)
• Digital photography of your face that meets Canadian requirements
• Justification for the visit (in the case of a tourist visa, the justification may be - plane tickets, a description of the travel route, hotel booking; if the trip is as a family/friend visit - an invitation letter from them, also we can assist with filling out this letter)
• Confirmation of residence address in Canada (or hotel booking)
• Financial justification for the visit (bank statement for the last 6 months)
• Letter from the place of work, indicating the position, date of employment, salary and the period of leave granted (coinciding with the dates of the trip to Canada)
• Extra certificates (marriage certificate, birth certificate of kids, in which minor children are entered, etc.)

Each application and situation is considered separately, additional documents may be required. A complete list of documents is compiled and issued when filling out a visa application form

Please note: when traveling in transit through the US, you may need to apply for a American visa!!!
