What to expect.
Safety is a priority for all flight tour operators. Pilots are experienced and knowledgeable about the local terrain and weather conditions.
Tours typically depend on weather conditions. It's a good idea to allow some flexibility with your schedule. Cloud ceiling levels and visibility are factors that flight companies use to determine whether or not they can fly safely.
Tours usually range from 20 minutes to an hour. Pricing depends on the length and type of tour, as well as the operator.
Some tours are seasonal due to weather conditions. Our mountains may experience snow in the alpine earlier than the valley (September- October) and are often snow-covered into early summer (June - July).
